Maple Street Biscuit Company

About the Company

rating: 4.5

From our humble start in 2012, Maple Street has always been different. In a world of boring breakfast, we set out to craft scratch-made comfort food, with a modern twist. With every breakfast, lunch and catered event, our fresh ingredients, that quirky take on comfort food, and a sense of community go well beyond basic. We aim to leave you both full and fulfilled. We promise to bring you fresh-cracked eggs. We promise to bake our biscuits from scratch every day, and never serve you some previously frozen puck of dough. We promise to provide impeccably clean stores, where you can focus on delicious food and those with whom you choose to enjoy it. Like you, our biscuits are a lot of things, but we promise they’ll never be boring.

Worst breakfast experience. My wife and I went in with good expectations, reviews here are generally good. We ordered and were one of only two tables dining. We sat and talked for 23 minutes waiting for our food. Finally my wife asked and they didn t have record of our order. They scrambled to assemble our order quickly, almost too quickly. I was very disappointed with the featured five and dime biscuit sandwich, everything was tough from the biscuit to the steak. In the short time they prepared it, nothing seemed freshly prepared but the egg. My wife fared better with her hash bowl. I was surprised at the lack of quality and empathy for the mistake.

They have a seasonal menu that includes tacos. You can order ahead of time directly on there website. They also have a store which sells 12 dollar hats to benefit organ donation. They have K cups available for purchase which contain naturel maple flavoring.25 dollar gift cards available. 9 dollar coffee mugs. I asked for a grit bowl with no bacon. When the waitress brought my dish over I informed her I ordered it without bacon. I watched her take it behind the counter and tell someone I watched them take the bacon off and bring it back! I asked the waitress if it was the same dish. She said no . I then said so they didn t just take the bacon off. She lied to my face and said I don t know I didn t see . But again I watched from my table and she never sat the dish down. I think smelled the dish and could not only smell the bacon but also saw bacon grease. As a vegetarian if I had bit into my meal and trusted the cooks and the word of the waitress I would have been livid. I do not recommend this restaurant. Frisco tx location

Not what it s cracked up to be. Went with two family members, and we all got the same dish, so I can t speak to the quality of all the food. I got a Hash Bowl with over-easy eggs and cheddar; the eggs were fine, cheddar looked like it came from a package in the grocery store. Potatoes didn t have any seasoning and were hard. Not much bacon but the mushrooms tasted good. Portion was really small. Similar complaints from the other two family members. The biscuits we ordered were pretty good. We tried the iced biscuit and the regular biscuit, both were solid, no complaints. I ordered an iced caramel coffee and that was also pretty standard, no complaints either. From what I ve tasted, you d be better off going down the street to First Watch. Just not worth the price. I assume their biscuit dishes are more worth the price and the reviews.

We can here for Sunday breakfast with my son and his family. I ordered the extreme biscuit and gravy. The gravy was cold. The eggs ordered over med was over hard. The bathrooms obviously have not been cleaned in a week or more. It was filthy right down to the handles on the sink. The manager took feedback and he comped my sons ticket. But nothing was done about the bathroom. Horrible experience, will not be coming back.

Ahhhhhhhh.....the Yumminess! Really nice first experience here. If youre a biscuit company, your biscuits better be money, and they were. Crusty and buttery on the top, airy flacky and slightly doughy in the inside but not crumbly where it falls apart. 4 star would have been five if it was a bit warmer. Next, my 5 and dime sanwhich....Great combo of flavors that complimented each other well with a little kick to put it over the top. 5 star. Then the cinnamon chocolate biscuit .... Yummy! 4 Star. Favorite things about the experience. The berry jam, maple bacon and maple coffee. If the 2 biscuit items were warmer, everything would have been a 5.

Good job owners and managers for training your employees not to just be a face and work but also to be kind and compassionate. And we even tried the cinnamon roll biscuit because how can you not. Sweet tea was excellent as well always a plus in my book. Will be going back for sure Vegetarian options: They have options for vegetarians too. Would not recommend for vegan. Kid-friendliness: Easy with kids. Order up at the front and pick a table.

Well, 8t started off with the ordering lady at the register, not putting my name correctly on the ticket, probably because, I dont know, showed it to her on my credit card, but she made a name up instead. We got our first order and started into it to find out it was not what either of us ordered. Then had to go thru the ringer to get the correct order. Then, the food just wasnt as enticing as the photos. Especially the chicken fried steak. It was thick, hard to chew, and the first fork cut the whole crust slid off the meat, bad sign. The pic with all the good on the table is what we left. The biscuits were kinda heavy and fell apart trying to handle them as a sandwich. Im not saying the place isnt great, it was a full house by the time we left. But my partner said, after the $45 breakfast we hardly ate, that Im never to take her out for breakfast again. Cuz she loves my full breakfasts. There goes my once in a blue moon Sunday off! Lol So. Nice place, friendly staff, cept for order taker at front door, but wasnt worth the 5 mile drive, partner said. Dont not go because of this review. This is just our position after the fact.

Service was friendly but a bit slow. Note you also put your dirty dishes and utensils in the bin after clearing them of excess food in the trash. I enjoyed their biscuits- super fluffy and soft with a crispy shell. I could probably eat several if it was a little less salty. The other food we tried was pretty average and seemed pricey for what they are. They are extremely generous with their gravy; if you were imagining dipping your food in gravy, maybe ask for it on the side because theres probably going to be enough gravy to cover everything on your plate. Thats a little too much for me. Was not impressed with the hoard of ants on the floor.

Fun and fast little brunch spot. We came on a Saturday morning and the service was really quick. They have a question of the month and your answer is the order they will call out which is unique and fun! The Biscuits are delicious and we will definitely be repeat customers.

Started with the Bam YoYo, great seasoning. I just wish the waffle was cooked a little longer. But I will definitely order it again and again. I also ordered the Cinnamon Biscuit and trust me it was a great treat after eating. Plenty of room for Big groups or by yourself. Food

This place was nice. I really liked the fresh squeezed orange juice. I was really excited to try their goat cheese and pepper jelly biscuit but it was just okay. A bit too much goat cheese and the pepper jelly was cold. My bf liked his grits but his biscuit was just okay. Parking: Multiple spots in front of the restaurant

We stopped in for brunch after a family members high school graduation. I didnt expect much from a place that sold biscuits as its main entree, but I was surprised with the options available and even more surprised at how delicious they were! I went back and forth between the maple biscuit (the favorite) and the cowboy; both biscuits hold their own! I decided on the cowboy and have no regrets! The sausage gravy, chicken fried steak, and eggs created a nice collection of complimentary flavors for the biscuit, which is huge, BTW! In addition, we added a side of meatballs with jelly, YUM! Stop in and check this place out and definitely try the fresh squeezed orange juice or coffee...Pretty dog gone good!

The service was great, I enjoyed my meal- all except the eggs. I asked for scrambled with cheese and I received.....maybe an over cooked omelet? I would definitely go again but eggs will be a no go for me. What I really enjoyed- when the cashier asked for a name on the order, she asked for it to be your favorite cartoon character, I believe.

Right off the bat, service is top notch. Absolutely very helpful and informative, easy to modify dishes. Cute little counter service place. The biscuits are pretty good (I even got some to biscuits, cinnamon biscuits, and homemade jelly to go). All of the ingredients were clearly fresh and high quality. The lemonade was a little syrupy for my preference, but tasted good. The sausage gravy is listed as having a kick (which worried me as total spice baby), but it wasnt really spicy at all. I think the three layer cake was great and filling. The bisucuit sandwich was a bit messy to eat, but high quality stuff. I couldnt finish everything. Vegetarian options: Can get mushroom gravy instead of sausage gravy.

(Recommend looking at menu before arrival if its your first time) Why is this place hidden its ok. We accidentally found it on sunday because every breakfast place was packed more like biscuits found us, i would say. As a first timer, i had anxiety you have to decide right there and then what you want from the menu , pay(your name is your favorite cartoon character), then sit / pick your table!! Oh, the coffee was so good , let alone the biscuits and chicken we thought we would need sides, no we didnt, we thought we had to order a second plate no we didnt all biscuits are filling!!! You cant go wrong with what you pick .....SO per my 4-year-old, the chicken was spicy. It does have seasoning that gives a little spicy hint she was the only one that didnt enjoy her food

The biscuit sandwich was not what I expected. It was amazing. My mom got the chicken fried steak sandwich. The biscuit was good, the chicken had a nice kick. I had enough for a snack later. Id probably ask for the bacon to be less cooked or removed. Im not as much of a bacon fan as most people. We got some cinnamon biscuits to-go. They were better without the icing plain, with butter, or maple syrup. Well be going back. We paid around $55 with two sandwiches/drinks, a dozen cinnamon biscuits and a tip, but it was worth it.
