I call them with a difficult request, Andree answered the phone and give me the confidence that they could help me. I talked with Mr. D Herrin, he told me the plan and everything went exactly as he promised. When I initially presented my circumstances to Herrin Law Firm I was able to speak directly to my attorney immediately, come up with a plan and execute it. The firm handled my cause in a record time at an affordable rate. We essentially discuss an all inclusive payment agreement and I paid the fee and it eliminated being charged for emails, phone calls and text which saved me a lot of money and worries. Overall I was pleased with the way they handled everything. I did not once speak to the people I had an issue with once I turned my case over to them. Almost 3 years ago I walked in to Daniel s office feeling defeated, confused and embarrassed with where I was financially . He could have easily taken advantage of my situation and made things worse for me financially. Instead, he listened to my story, created a plan for me and gave me the ability to begin to climb out of the hole I had dug myself in to. This law practice is beyond awesome!!! Dealing with very particular circumstances surrounding my bankruptcy. Daniel made the process easy. I was informed along the entire process. I requested my joint tax papers from the USCIS; they cashed out my check for service fee but it had been 4 months and I never received any paper from them. I came to Herrin Law as my last hope. They said they never had any client with my issue but still they took my case, and helped me. It took longer than they expected (they said 7-10 days but we got the copies in 15 days). But through out the whole process, Lisa always kept me updated even if they received the documents from IRS or not; and I really appreciate them for that, as they were understanding that I was very frustrated. Last but not least, I received the tax papers in just 15 days instead of 4 months with no get back from IRS. I highly recommend Herrin Law for their professionalism, experience, and punctuality. I whole heartedly recommend Daniel Herrin. He is crisp and honest in his dealings and very competent. When I 1st contacted the firm Santiago answered the phone by default. And he assisted me immediately and shared with me the process. I was scared and distressed. And I was also scared when I realized I was meeting with Daniel Herrin. However, to my surprise everyone was completely down to earth. Easy to talk with and most importantly confide in REGARDLESS of how embarrassed and foolish I felt. Then COVID hit and the Herrin law team was still very interactive. When we decided to go bankrupt, it was so stressful, I read many reviews but the one that caught my attention was Herrin Law. The best thing about them is that they also have a Spanish speaking lawyer. So for those of us that have a communication barrier, no need to worry they have Manuel Santiago, in fact a very good Spanish speaking lawyer. When my husband and I decided to go bankrupt, it was so stressful. I began to investigate the criticisms of these Herrin Law lawyers. I found out that not only were they good, but that they have a Spanish speaking attorney for those of us who have problems with the English language. Without a doubt, Daniel is the best bankruptcy in DFW area. After my discharge, my mortgage company tried collecting fees they forgot to include in my bankruptcy. Daniel got the fees removed and a cash settlement in a suit. Filing bankruptcy is stressful enough, so be sure you hire an attorney that is going to fight for you, like Daniel Herrin. I think its important to give credit where credit is due. With that being said, it is no exaggeration when I say that Herrin Law is the most client-centered, hardworking, knowledgeable, effective Chapter 7 & 13 Law Firm in the Dallas area! My financial burden began when I was laid off of work in 2009. I elected to become independent and became self-employed. Business was up and down but I was able to keep up with my credit cards by paying the minimum. I tried to protect my credit rating but the high 29% interest rates on my credit cards became too much. By November of 2012 debt had caught up to me and I was unable to pay my house loan much less my credit cards. I was threatened with foreclosure effective Jan. 1, 2013, and out of desperation I contacted Herrin Law and made an appointment to meet with Daniel Herrin. Daniel explained our legal options and immediately filed our case and stopped the foreclosure during our meeting. This was a load off my shoulders and my wife as well. We followed our Attorneys advice closely and began to fill out forms with delight. We attended all the required classes until completion. I recommend Herrin Law for their professionalism, understanding of the law, experience in bankruptcy and sensitive approach to their clients. Daniel, thank you for being there for us during our worst financial state. I dont believe that filing bankruptcy is a sign of my failure financially, but an option to restore financial soundness in our life. I fell into some hardship and filed Ch. 13 with a different law firm to save my home until I got back on my feet. Well after making payments for months, they were going to drop my case with prejudice due to the dumb paralegal saying I didnt have enough income to keep the home. They basically told me to kick rocks and be homeless with 3 kids. In a quick panic, I called around and was referred to Herrin Law. This guy is god sent and genius if you ask me. He informed me that by the other law firm dismissing me with prejudice, I wouldnt be able to file 13 again for 3 months causing foreclosure. Pretty harsh right but we wont drop any names (starts with a L) so he suggested I file Ch. 7 for the time being and work with my mortgage company to do a modification. Fast forward to now I ended up putting my house on the market...sold it for much higher than what I paid and now Im renting a house close to my job until Im ready to purchase again. (Full disclosure - I work with Daniel) but that doesnt change anything. He deserves a lot of credit for the kind of person he is and how passionate he is about his clients. I get to see him when clients are not around and all he wants to do is help people. He truly cares and his mission to change the perception of attorneys and law firms by doing 24 hour or less responses to client questions and fixed cost pricing for clients so that clients arent afraid to call and ask questions. If youre considering a bankruptcy or estate planning attorney, he would be a good one to meet with and does not charge for the initial consult.
