* Update. Still and always will be a supporter of HEB but last few times struggled in our favorite department Made Fresh I am assuming due to staffing shortage because I stood in section walking around for 20 minutes hoping to see someone. I could hear someone in the back working hard on something. We visit this section several times a week and lately nothing but expired or near expired product. At $10 dish I don t want to buy several items with today s yesterday s dates. Also what was out was sparse and picked through. We purchase 20 single meals a week and today left empty handed from the department. But not from the store. $500! Geez prices have to come down soon. Vote these prices down people! Staff always outstanding. Not sure how HEB does it but thier hiring process must be the best there is around. Comparatively to the competition it s outstanding always. Cant remember once when an employee ever made me feel less then welcomed. Thank you HEB for holding up the customer service standard when so many others fail.

Their management is very rude and not customer-centric at all. My wife and I wanted to get soup from the hot bar. All the soups were empty, we were able to scrape together half of a cup. At checkout we asked for a discount so n the cup and were very rudely told no. They did not care that all their soups were empty, or that we were paying full price for half of a cup of soup. Rather than discount a couple dollars and make the customer happy, they had a very rude attitude and chose to disregard the customer relationship. I spend probably $500/month here and I really wish they cared about their customers.

Love H-E-B and especially love this one. always super clean, staff is friendly, and items are well stocked. the selection here is so much better than the others in the area. it may not be the newest with the fanciest designs, but it is very spacious and well thought out. even at its busiest the store can handle the crowd.

I have been a regular customer at HEB for years. Today I have a bad experience ever with the Customer Service (where we would like to send money to a family member who lives outside the U.S. by using Western Union at HEB). My husband is refused to send the money because his English is not the primary language. While I tried to help him because of his English, the person at Customer Service asked my husband to speak by himself, then refused the money transfer service. She even did not say hi when we came to the counter. We always feel welcomed since we moved to the U.S. and this time we definitely did not feel that way. This bad experience REALLY never fades away from my husband and my own memory!

This HEB can get pretty busy and, unfortunately, has been out of stuff we needed more often lately. As far as grocery pickup and delivery goes, they are constantly messing up 1 to 3 things an order. They always take care of it when you call in, but that takes a while, and it gets a little tiring to chase down after a while. Overall, its a decent HEB, though, and its nice to have so close.

Curbside pick up service is horrible. I called customer support because they forgot our meat, the person I spoke with said I can pick it up the next day and I will get a confirmation text/email for pick up. Never received any information, I called the next day then they provided me a different information saying I wont get a confirmation, I have to show up and ask for employee help at the curbside. I didnt want to go through the hassle anymore with the inconsistency. I asked for refund and told me we wont receive any kind of confirmation email for refund? Never dealt with that anywhere, I always receive an email confirmation for any of my refunds. They need to fix their system. Update: They sent me an email confirmation for the refund AFTER I posted this review. So this whole time time it was possible. They need a better training for their employees so customers dont have to deal with all of these hassles.

This H-E-B is so very lovely! All their food and bakery items are genuinely fresh, and they have a WIDE variety of every single thing to chose from. There is lots of employees everywhere if you need help, plus it s very clean. I also saw a H-E-B employee walking a very old woman to her car and pushing her cart and then loading all her groceries and it warmed my heart so I had to share!

Nice Texas stores but never have good sales on their food items. Lucky if you see $5.00 in savings on $100 spent. Walmart can beat them by 2 to 5 cents on every item. Walmart is my choice on most items. The way HEB manipulates gasoline prices is terrible. The law is, change pricing when you get a new shipment of fuel. They are up and down for no reason, except GREED! I never buy fuel at HEB!

I love HEB and have shopped for groceries at this particular location since it opened. Lately I have become very dissatisfied with the check out process. There are never enough cashiers and only a minimal number of lanes are open. This makes the lines unbearably long, and all the bodies packed on the front makes it incredibly hot.

I went out of state and as a Texan coming back to their home state, going to H-E-B is like going to heaven! Today was very frustrating at this HEB. Normal Sunday, very busy with tons of families with very full carts. Our line is taking a while and we realize its because there is no bagger and every family is having to do their own bagging. I understand if youre short handed but no. The manager was too busy playing hang man with the other baggers to look up and see that the polite, quiet cashier and guests of our line were struggling. The teenage bagger on the next line was quick to bag his lines stuff and in between guests was playing hangman with the manager instead of stepping over to help the next line! I understand employee engagement is important but you need to teach management to have their head on a swivel and focus on the paying customers. Maybe Im extra frustrated because I forgot to scan my in-store app coupons since I was too busy bagging. So I missed out on the extra savings (why I chose HEB) and left frustrated.

Love my HEB I do wish they put the bagging area for scan and go outside the scan and go area where it was before. The way it is now, it creates clutter and slows down the lines. Came in to get 3 lb beef tenderloin for $64 as I saw it online, when I received it from the meat market I was handed 3 lbs for $94. I went in line and asked them to price match their online price as they were both 3 lbs of USDA Choice Beef Tenderloin and the manager that was called did not allow the price match so I said fine take it i ll just order it online and pick it up later for $30 less and I did, it was $59 when I came back. Get your managers trained on customer service, why bother me with having to make two trips to the store and pay $30 more for no reason?

Pretty good HEB, still fairly new - friendly employees and usually busy. UPDATE 03 2022 BUSIER THAN EVER! Pharmacy drive thru closed temporarily, pay ahead & curb service or go inside. Still friendly with a good variety of products. UPDATE the store is getting more and more crowded and the personal shoppers are a pain in the rear. Most of the folk who work there are still trying but the rest are just impatient..... its truly worth the drive to the New store in Liberty Hill.....update... Really hasnt changed.1223 Christmas decorations are out. Other than seasonal changes the store is about the same. (Just more customers...)

I loved the extra space that HEB has at their gas pumps. Its so easy to safely navigate an RV in for fill-up. Id love to see HEBs open up their large parking lots to be available to overnight RVs, similar to Walmart. Some of us are just passing through, need to restock, and find a safe overnight spot before moving on.

Don t bother with curbside. Every single order is screwed. I debated on writing this heavily. As women, we are taught to just get out of the situation quickly for our safety and most of us shy away from reporting unsafe/uncomfortable situations. I almost did not report and let this slide. But something came over me and I had to. On 1/26 around 11:20 I decided to stop by this HEB to grab a lint rollers and a few other travel essentials. So I entered and immediately noticed an employee wearing a bright yellow hoodie, bald with glasses and a white beard, scout me out and follow me around. But I have been in his place and to be honest I looked like a bum so, definitely fit the profile. But I kept shopping for what I needed whilst he followed me around. I made my way into the cosmetic section and picked up a blush. At this point I had 3 items in my hand when I realized I needed a lint roller, so I made my way over to the detergent isle, with this gentleman of course, still following me. As I am entering, the intercom came on and it was announced that their system was down and they were only accepting cash. I had no cash so I placed the items on a shelf and made my way to the exit. As I am about to exit the building, this man stops me and with an accusing tone asked where are the cosmetics you had in your hand? To which I replied I put them in a shelf him: okay but which one I replied the detergent isle , I can show you him no no, I just needed to know where, my job is to put everything back (no it isn t, loss prevention) to which I reply this is offensive he replied with a smirk why? me you targeted me him no I didn t, have a nice day . I m Latina and he was a middle aged white male and again wearing sweatpants and an oversized sweater, of course he targeted me. I ve dealt with ignorance like this my entire life.I left so distraught and as im searching for my car I noticed him in the next parking line, he followed me out. I made my way to my car and sat there watching him as he got into his car and made his way towards me and circled around the parking isle I was parked in. He ended up entering another isle and I couldn t see him anymore and I felt relief. I sat there debating if I should go home or report this to his supervisor. I was afraid this unhinged employee would follow me home so I went inside and had a pleasant chat with the supervisor, Chris I believe. Whom was very apologetic and respectful. Thank you. I have no need to steal, I have been a paying customer for years. I understand the procedures but this was borderline unsafe and unhinged of this employee. However, the actions of one employee does not define the establishment, this particular employee needs psychological intervention, perhaps more.

Curbside is horrible. Slow every time! My wait has never been less than 20 mins. Ive received rotten fruit and spoiled milk in my curbside orders. Management here is worse. They have no customer service skills. And dont expect the GM to contact you. I left 4 messages and even tried to contact him on LinkedIn. No response! Not indicative of the HEB culture.
