There were only a few customers in Applebees when we arrived but yet it took a bit for a waitress to come over then the wait time for everything was long, like when we asked for a plate and ranch she would take at least 5 minutes to come back and then she wouldnt have both, ordered a shake to go it came in a glass so we asked for a to go cup to put it in and a to go drink, when she finally came back she only had the drink ,,,seriously

I ordered the steak with mushrooms on top and the loaded garlic potatoes with extra butter. The steak was very over cooked with no juice at all, which was a shame because the cut of meat itself looked so nice. I have a can of mushrooms in the pantry that have more flavor than what these had. The extra butter I paid for was a tiny dollop in a side container, yet the potatoes had so much sour cream they were inedible. Also the food took so long to be prepared that my delivery driver called several times to apologize, yet also arrived cold. This was not because it was delivered because I ve gotten food from much farther and it was still warm

I ve lived in Crosby since 2009; my then BF now husband said I don t like Applebee s. I thought he was being to hard on them. Well they just proved him right. I ordered a simple 2x25 deal & thought I was getting a great deal. Hell I thought it was awesome I could order a margarita to go. I have to pick up since no one delivers to SpindleTop. They forgot my margarita. The one thing I really wanted. The food was meh. I know it cools on the drive home,but the the thick, greasy stuck together fries were barely edible. The cheese burger was saved by the bread & cheese, though the wilted lettuce, barely there tomatoes & few pickles look nothing like the picture never mind all the condiments were on the side. At least the fast food places put their sauces on the burgers & don t make you DIY. Wendy s does it better Glad I got the side salads instead of the appetizers. The chicken Alfredo was the star of the show & held up well. So of course what starts off wrong, just continues to go wrong. I call about my not margarita, you would think with profit margins on alcohol that would be the 1st thing they got right. I m told I will get a refund, it takes 3 days & I only get back $8.99 but not the tax, math is hard for them too. I m going to Outlaw Ray s instead service needs help, but their prices are reasonable, food is really good, their locally owned. Or La Villa $2.99 margaritas on Saturday & Monday always make me smile

I recently visited Applebees in Crosby, Texas and I had a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with friendly staff especially the bartender who made me feel right at home and told me all about it the local community per my request. . The menu had a wide variety of options, from classic comfort foods to more adventurous dishes. I decided to try the Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp, and it was delicious the chicken was tender, and the shrimp had the perfect amount of seasoning. The drinks were also a highlight. I had their Mucho Margarita, which was both refreshing and generously portioned. Throughout my meal, the service was attentive without being intrusive, and the overall vibe was relaxed and enjoyable. Whether youre looking for a casual place to hang out with friends or a family-friendly dining option, Applebees definitely delivers. Ill definitely be returning soon!

There was an African American young lady with short hair working this past weekend and she had an extremely horrible attitude when asking her for something. She stated the other waiters were very busy and she was only doing drinks. When she initially said that, I thought she meant alcoholic drinks. I asked her if she could print my receipt and she was so nasty about doing that. I don t think I ll go to this location again. Way too short staffed for a Saturday afternoon. We had a group of 10 for dinner and girls night playing Pokeno. The service was excellent and the food was delicious!! I made arrangements ahead of time with Megan, General Manager, prior to the night of our gathering. They were very well prepared for us, everything was hot and ready, on time!! We walked in and was seated and then we waited and waited for someone to come take our drink orders. Meanwhile there was workers walking right by us and nothing. Finally our waitress came and took our drink order and food order. We waited again to get our drinks (only 3 drinks). Then we finally got our food and the steak was raw when I asked for well done. The only thing good about our visit was Paige. She was very attentive, great personality even though she was given a hard time by another table near us. For 5:30 pm on a Friday, the latest reviews were accurate. No servers to greet you at the door as they were all by the kitchen talking. The bartender had to get someone for us. When our server came to take our order, she seemed to want to get back to their area to keep talking. Our food started out hot, but as we kept asking for more food ( ordered the all you can eat) the food and fries got colder and the portions smaller. We never received coleslaw as it was part of the food advertised. Also, please have them clean the shelves and walls between the tables as they were very dusty. Someone dated their name in the dust from December 2023. May need an overhaul of staff.

Came in for a late bite and ended up having a disappointing experience. We order our drinks and appetizers after being there for a couple minutes. Our drinks took almost 20 minutes and our appetizers never came. After 45 minutes of being there our food order was finally taken. However the wrong entree was brought out and when the correct one was brought it was again the wrong one. We asked about our appetizers and was told the kitchen was just having a rough time, we finished our meals still with no appetizers. We had to ask another server to get us refills and cancel our appetizers because at this point we were just ready to go. Really disappointed in the experience.

The SERVICE was bad. Really bad. Our waiter Was rude. But let s back up its New Year s Eve and my family thought we would have something nice for dinner. When we walk in the greeter was there and asked did I really need kid menus. We told her yes. Then we seated. Not asked if we want a table or a booth. Then when the waiter came to the table, he had an attitude. We just thought hard night. Told him our drinks. It was like getting 4 drinks was a lot for his m to get. Then when he came back after 15 minutes he took our order. With everything thing we order he would look at each of us. Felt like he was judging us. When our drinks was empty he never refilled until we had to stop him to ask, but only brought one drinking. You could see the other 4 cups were almost empty as well. Then he walks up and said are you ready for your bill. We paid it and just got boxes to bring home to eat our food.

The Applebees in Crosby was trash.. the restaurant was not clean at all. I stood by the door waiting to be seated for 10 minutes until I sat myself.. it took bout 15 minutes for someone to notice I was there.. the drink I ordered was disgusting. I sent it back and exchanged it for something else and that drink was worse.. I ordered a half rack of ribs. It was cold with no honey BBQ sauce. They bought me French fries and they were actually pretty good but it was the wrong order. I ordered it with mashed potatoes.. anyways the service was horrible.. Family dinner and my initial thoughts were how our experience was going to be. To our delite our experience at this Applebees was awesome. Our waiter Te(Devonte) was great and he is very humble. He checked on us regularly and was very thorough with everything. Our experience was 100% spot on. Thanks Te. Even the manager stopped by our table to say hello and welcome us.. I do not know what has happened to Crosby Applebees. We went on a Saturday for lunch and there was only one other person there eating. With that being said can you explain to me why we had to wait for everything. Our server was slow and acted like he didn t even want to be there. Food came out and at least one item on eat plate was cold. There was no flavor in anything, the Mac and cheese was horrible.The mac and cheese didn t have a cheese flavor and the garlic mashed potatoes tasted like straight up out of the package potato s with no garlic flavor. I had to ask for steak sauce twice to even be able to eat my steak as it also had no flavor. We have eaten here several times and the food and service was great. This will be our last time at this location unless management gets this place back in shape.

Im not 100% sure why but I wasnt expecting a lot out of a dining experience from an Applebees halfway to the middle of nowhere Texas. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Service was fast, friendly and very attentive. No problems with the order. Food was surprisingly excellent. I ordered the chicken fettuccine alfredo with broccoli. The portion was large and the dish was delicious. I would definitely get it again. Lunch and a drink came in under $20 so it was very reasonable as well. Place as well kept. Only complaint was the TV was louder than I would have preferred. Dont like sports announcers yelling at me while eating Alfredo. Overall I would rate this experience and 8.5 out of 10. Good job Applebees.

This is why chain restaurants are dying. I got turned around leaving Houston, and Applebees was the first thing I saw. It was late, dark, and after a long day at the airport, starving. From the moment I walked in, I regretted my choice. The whole restaurant smelled musty. The floors were filthy. I was too tired to hunt down anything else. I should have just left. We chose something simple, surely they couldnt mess up a burger. They could! It was so dry, and the fries tasted like they had been cooked, placed to the side, and cooked again. The waitstaff was ok. R.I.P. Applebees, I remember a time 20 years ago when you were decent. Hopefully, they will place it on a DNR and let it pass away peacefully!

Gross, everything tastes like you could buy it in the frozen food section. Never fails, always a couple fighting or babies crying here. People smoke in the bar, and the service is slow and bare minimum service. Would not recommend if you want good food or a great experience.

The waitress we had (Tabitha) was amazing I had just come from my father s funeral (she did not know this) but she and the rest of the staff made my families day better. It was the best service I d had in a long time she even made me laugh on such an awful day. Thank you Tabitha.

Shoes stick to floors. Pretty slow to serve even beverages. Management should be there along side his employees get on top of everything here. No reason for this place to be so filthy. I hate to leave such a review but it was my first time at any Applebees. For years Ive heard about and watched commercials being so fantastic. ......not so.

Roaches on the walls. When notified the manager or who ever was in charged, she laughed it off and moved us to another place. I should have ran then, but we had a large group of us and the kids were starving. Then to top it all off there was hair in my daughters milkshake. Instead of removing the item off the bill, she insisted on remaking one. So disgusting. The bill was high and the food mediocre and the flying roaches! We wont ever return.

I got the fish and chips. The fish was sitting in grease and the fries were cold and old. You can tell they had been sitting for quite some time and they tried to reheat them. The spinach/ artichoke dip was really good, the tea was good. The 13 yr old wouldnt eat the burger. Now I understand why Applebees are going under. We were there on a Friday at 6:30 and maybe 20 people inside. Most restaurants are packed at that time.

Most unprofessional place Ive ever been to. I walked in and wanted to run as soon as hostess started in. Everyone acted like it was normal. Dont get me started on the rest. I told my husband I would never walk back in there again. Im to afraid to even see what the food is like. If floor staff is that bad imagine how the cooks must be.

Dined in. This is the first time to this Applebee s in several years. In years past it wreaked of cigarette smoke but NOT anymore. I went at 3:00 pm and ordered off the lunch menu. I ordered the Southwestern Salad w/grilled chicken it was fresh and delicious. My guest ordered the steak with 2 sides of broccoli. The steak was thick and cooked as requested. It came out hot and fresh. Jacq was our server who was friendly and gave excellent service. I will be returning.
