We ate brunch here the other day. We both got the eggs Benedict, it was good. I really liked it that the hollandaise sauce was on the side, allowing one to add as much or little one wants. The atmosphere was pleasant and they have a coffee bar but, we didnt get specialty coffee this time, we plan to on our next visit.

Oh my gosh! We had such a lovely time here and the food was absolutely to die for. Best breakfast we have had in a long time. With a cozy atmosphere and delicious food and drinks to go along it was wonderful! Savanna Georgia was our server and she was an absolute delight. I got discriminated I ve never had breakfast, until today 9/22 i decided to to try it. The place was literally empty and we still had to wait and take a seat. 3 waitress saw us waiting for a table. And no one seemed to cared. As soon as a white older lady got there , the waiter ran over to the front desk to see what she needed, when we were waiting there for 7 minutes. I said thanks for the service and left. Iam Hispanic, so if you are a minority , don t expect to get the same service .

Amazing time at Seven Mile Cafe! We just relocated from out of town and love how easy it is to find good vegan cuisine in Dallas. I got the veggie scramble with ham and hubs got the vegan s/e/c biscuit. Both were yum! I also tried an ice cream coffee thing and babe had a vegan capp - so good! Our server Savannah joked about how big our sons pancake would be and she was not kidding (lol!) Thanks Savannah, we ll be back to see you soon! Highly recommend - especially for families with vegan/non mix!

We ve come several times, but here s the hot tips: 1. The bowls are amazing. I recommend the island. It s the best. 2. Come and expect to wait, especially with a big group. 3. The menu is big. 4. If you can, sit at the bar. The staff there are the best in the restaurant. Chloe and Caitlyn took care of us today, and every other time it has been absolutely fantastic. They make you feel like friends, they remember what you order and they ask your name. We love it here.

Breakfast at the Seven Mile Cafe in Mesquite was the best restaurant experience weve had in a long time. Our server, Violet, was attentive, helpful and kind. We were attracted to all of the vegan breakfast options online and the menu did not disappoint! The restaurant itself is bright, clean, warm and inviting. The food was incredible. And Violet put it all over the top. It was a bit of a splurge for breakfast, but because they seem to source a lot of their ingredients locally, and so much is hand made, it was worth it. Well be back and bringing out of town guests. Highly recommend.

This is probably the first review I ve ever left. Definitely the first negative review. I walk in and was told there would be a 40 min wait so asked if I could sit at the bar. I was told there was no seating at the bar. I walked over and there were spots so I sat down. The lady at the bar asked what I wanted to drink gave her my drink order and told her I was ready to order. I ordered bacon egg and cheese tacos with hash browns. Food came out and I had 3 tacos with tons of eggs piled on it, no bacon. Guy beside me started laughing and I just looked at it as to say what is this. The girl was like ohh yeahhh you wanted bacon my fault let me get that . She comes back with a small cup of bacon that was good for one taco. I asked for more bacon and she said she would get it with no charge. 22 minutes later I m still sitting there with no bacon. After 22 minutes she asked did you not get your bacon . I said no Mam can I have my ticket. Paid $21 for one taco and couple bites of hashbrowns and I left.

Our experience at the 7 mile cafe begun with being seated as soon as we walked in the door, followed by our attentive and respectful server Jaleen bringing us water and taking our drinks order. The honey and lavender latte was delicious and had a very pleasant latte art on top. For the meal we had tacos, eggs Benedict, and grits, accompanied by a bonanza pancake. The pancake was delicious infused with banana slices and topped with warm Nutella and a dollop of whip cream. The eggs Benedict was delicious and classic served with perfectly done hashbrowns. The breakfast tacos were amazing and customizable and the grits for Done to perfection. overall, we had an amazing experience and our server Jaleen was very good.10/10 Dietary restrictions: Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Ordered my lunch online pretty simple to do. Ive been to this location once before, my daughter introduced me to it. Food was really good nicely presented, wait staff were friendly and on point. This time walking in the hostess immediately greeted me with a smile, and directed me to the bar, good job. Got to the bar and whoever the chick was at the bar and yes I did say chick because thats the vibes she was throwing off with the tattoos and nose ring took several minutes to make eye contact. Once eye contact was made she, sternly began to speak with me no problem. I just looked around and made eye contact with the other friendly wait staff who smiled and were nice, especially the young man with the glasses. Im a professional Individual and would never again use the word chick, and definitely dont have anything against nose rings or tattoos, this young woman really needs an attitude check. She was looking down the whole time while telling me that I had to go to a small counter thats located on the other side of the bar behind her to grab my order, unprofessional. She could have been having a bad day, we all do. But at least, Act friendly to your customers even if you cant smile. Other than this small incident they have really good food, and the rest of the staff are very friendly.

Came in here to grab bfast before work at 8.15am on Saturday. 3 tables sat in the building and nobody sitting at the coffee bar. Sat at the coffee bar and let the server know I was in a rush and needed to get to work. Explained I had 45 minutes to eat and get to work. Ordered my food (pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon and hash browns). Waited 25 minutes, asked the coffee bar gal to check on the food. Someone checks on it, comes back and says it s not ready. So now I have 15 minutes to eat and get to work. I tell the coffee bar gal i need to cancel my order and head to work, she says no problem. I ll make it to go for you! NO . Because if I wanted to go food, I would have ordered that 30 minutes ago when I walked in. At the end of it, I was still charged $4 for an ice tea that I had while waiting for my food that I didn t end up getting. Don t waste your time here

Our first time. A nice atmosphere, very modern and welcoming. It was 2 pm, I got a burger and wife got a pancake & bacon. The food was real good, but the cost was pretty out of whack. The bacon cheeseburger was $17.50 with chips/salsa (a tiny ramekin), and a salad. Was shocked with all the sandwich/burger options, was shocked when I learned there is no option for fries. Also, when the burger came, I asked for mustard. She advised that only have Dijon, no yellow mustard. How hard is it to have yellow mustard as one of the condiments to choose from!?! The burger, however was pretty great, but disappointed in the two things I mentioned. Wife ordered blueberry pancake, and a side of bacon. It was great, just shocked that the side of bacon was two unimpressive slices of bacon for $5! Service was just ok. Waited and had to ask for refills. I felt like entrees were about $5 more than they should have been, but I see they re probably paying top dollar for rent, which gets passed on to the consumer. With that said, I probably won t be back.

We were out shopping and wanted to grab a bite. Heard good things about this restaurant. We stopped in and it was busy, got a table in less than 10 minutes. Ordered and though I rarely drink anymore, ordered cocktails, it was 11 on a Sunday morning. The Blue Lagoon packed quite a punch so I got another to go with the really good coffee. The entrees arrived and we were blown away. I had the Pappas Rancheros and the wife had some kind of Benedict plate ( I was at one sheet in the wind by then , maybe two sheets) we both enjoyed our breakfast immensely. So much so, we went back a few days later and ate again, less the alcohol and found it to be our new favorite breakfast stop.

This place is insanely good and our waiter is daisy and she was a nice person and a nice plater but the chocolate milk after taste was meh but everything else was fenominal the orange juice is nature orange juice my favorite oj in the whole world also the chocolate chip pancake was delicious oh my god and the atmosphere is incredible I like the decor and the chairs and table it s very comfortable the service is 10,000/10 awesome and to top of all of that they check up on us 2/3/4 times I like this place they cook so good Kid-friendliness: Kid friendliness The best

I never actually received my food. My son and I came into the restaurant on a Saturday morning. We had placed ourselves on the waitlist via the web so we didn t wait long but there was definitely a wait to get a table. I had a cup of coffee with me from an outside vendor, but I m about to buy food and drinks, so it shouldn t be an issue, WRONG! The manager sends over a server to inform me that I have to either throw out my drink or drink it quickly this was a large ice coffee. I asked for a glass and I would pour the coffee into a glass and throw away the cup, given it seemed to be an advertisement issue, WRONG! She wouldn t allow me to do that either, at the end of this mess my son and I left and spent $70 dollars elsewhere because my money isn t going to support foolish restaurants and their rules ! We won t be back!

We have been wanting to come try the vegan breakfast items. Cute decor. Vigas were so delicious! But if it comes with 3 tortillas why can t you have a mixture of corn and flour? Our server was wonderful. Steer clear of the vegan sausage gravy!!! They really need to redo that recipe. I make a pretty good vegan sausage gravy at home and would be happy to share tips and websites that have good recipes. My vegan dining partner kept thinking it was plain oatmeal poured over his biscuit. I thought it was unflavored Tvp in an unflavored roux. Some spices would easily fix this. My matcha latte with soy milk was wonderful. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegan options but don t do the vegan sausage gravy.

Ate breakfast with my family today and we were disappointed in the food and service. We were seated and greeted by a friendly receptionist..Loved her welcoming personality and demeanor.. We ordered coffee that was strong enough to power a car.. the first cup had floaters in the cream.. the second cup require so much sugar to drink it, that I just left it there untouched.. when our food came out it was plated beautifully but my hashbrowns were cold.. so to make it easy on the waitress (Jaleen) I asked if she could put them in the microwave, she said ok and walked away. So I thought, oh shes gonna bring me fresh ones, Nope! She came back with a plate to warm them in the microwave.. when they brought them back they tasted funny so I didnt eat them.. my husbands grits were disgusting.. Im not sure who was cooking but it wasnt good today.. and when I mentioned it to our waitress.. Her attitude was like shed cooked it at her house and we didnt like her cooking..I normally enjoy my food here.. this experience was definitely less than enjoyable.. nonetheless I paid my 87 dollar bill and still left a tip.. but for the price Imma need them to do better.. I dont think I will be back

The restaurant its self was cute but ruined by the employees behavior. My server Chloe was slow, rude and unprofessional. My food took forever and the manager hope did more gossiping with a few of the servers then trying to fix the issue with our order. I wouldnt recommend this place if youre trying to have a nice lunch with family. Or if you dont want to over pay for your food. The worst place on that block to go!!!!! I would never return or suggest it to anyone else! Parking: Very small parking lot. Half spaces taking by workers Kid-friendliness: Overheard servers talking about how loud and annoying customers with children are, also using vulgar language around customers!!!not kid friendly!!

What an odd experience. This place had vegan chicken and waffles so we wanted to go there and try it out. When we ordered our food, it took over half an hour to get our food ready. They also dont do substitutions for the 2 farmhouse biscuits. The biscuit was dense. If this is your preference, its good, but I was looking for something fluffier. The beyond chicken was nice and crispy. The vegan gravy was sweet for some reason and not savory like we expected. Very weird. The total came out to 55 but I think they overcharged on the orange juice unless the orange juice is $8? It was weird because when the waitress showed us the reader, it said the correct prices but when I checked my card, I overpaid? Very odd. Im just considering it extra tip but I wish I asked for the receipt to double check. Thats my fault. I dont like rating our waitress, but Im only putting it out there that I think its weird that she never addressed my boyfriend directly unless she asked for his order or when my boyfriend called for her. Anytime she wanted to ask the table if everything is fine, she just looked at me but we were both at the table. I heard its a tactic for waitresses to not offend the girlfriend at the table so maybe Im overthinking this. Overall the food wasnt anything spectacular. It was just overpriced, decent food, but not extraordinary.

I ordered the sea side benny (crab cake Benedict) Im ArkLA girl so, anything crawfish, crab legs, crab cake, salmon croquettes, jack mackas (mackerel), etc, I love. Anyhow, I ordered them via Uber eats because its rainy and theyre close enough for my food to still he fresh. The meal came with two sea side bennies (love the name) on top of avocado and English muffin, with two eggs over medium, and a side of crispy hash browns, which are still crispy as a type this. It also included two sauces, classic hollandaise and this delightful blueberry sauce (I need the recipe). No lemon wedges though... The crab cakes had absolutely NO flavor and didnt look like traditional crab cakes. They looked more like breaded deep fried bland crabby patties. They were hella thick, so after making it about 75% through the first one, I filleted the second one, the inside looked like a processed mess. I added the sauce, which sort of helped because I was able to nearly finish the first one, but no matter how many times I chewed, I couldnt make myself like it. $41 for this? Definitely not worth the price. Crab cakes 0/10 Hash browns 8/10 Hollandaise 9/10 Blueberry sauce 10/10 Pecan latte 5/10 (did not taste a drop pf pecan anything, yall got a 5 because I happened to drink any coffee). Vegetarian options: Look at the menu.

I love this place because they serve my breakfast favorites, but vegan. I was so happy to find this place. The vegan caramelized french toast is the best! Half of my family is pescatarian, but we eat vegan as much as possible, and the other half still eats other meats. This restaurant gives us the best of both!

I came for mothers day and I enjoyed myself food and server, came today and was completely disappointed in both food server and while were at it lets include price too. Idk how the same exact meal can taste and costs entirely different. And I asked for cheese on my eggs, my waitress noticed they didnt put cheese on my eggs and wanted to take my whole plate back for them to put cheese on the eggs vs bringing me a new hot side of eggs with cheese yet i was still charged a dollar for the cheese i never got. This was an ultimate disappointment.

The food was good but was way overpriced. We got a couple of omlets and everything was as expected. For $19, I expect an amazing omlet, but it was mediocre at best. My large drip coffee was $5, about 12oz and the lid didnt seal, resulting in about $1 of coffee lost on my way back to my car. The food was good, but Im just getting tired of being ripped off. There are pleanty of breakfast places that dont charge $5 for a 12oz cup of normal coffee and $19 for an average omlet. I dont plan on coming back with prices like this.

Great experience ! We didn t reserve a space online and so it was a lengthy-ish wait (like 25 minutes). Once seated, though, the magic began. Our server was so courteous and thorough, answering all our questions. The regular coffee was so good! They grind the beans fresh and I could taste the quality. I got the Gouda grits, with over easy eggs and bacon and tomatoes such comfort food oh I was in my happy place. Didn t really care for the cinnamon rolls kinda bland. My wife got the Benedict and it was ok. The chocolate pancake was delish and huge but the syrup was strangely thick and gelatinous, but tasted fine. Overall a wonderful place and will definitely go again soon. Dietary restrictions: Enjoyed the availability of turkey bacon and gluten sensitive options.

I liked the atmosphere, and all the staff were friendly and bubbly. I wish I enjoyed the food. I ordered a monte cristo, and it was super greasy and made it inedible. It tasted like something deep fried you get from the fair. Not worth the price in my opinion. The coffee was good.

My sister and I just arrived in the city early in the morning. We were looking for breakfast place and this cafe was the closest. I just wanted a simple place and a simple breakfast. Needless to say this place exceeded my expectations. The service was superb from the moment I entered till the moment I left I felt very welcomed and taken care of. The menu had vast options veggie and non veggies plates . I ordered a veggie plate hash brown and beyond a burger egg sandwich. The food was delicious. I felt so full afterwards. It is good I ordered some caffeinated latte to help stay awake. The prices were reasonable too. I will definitely go there again if I am in the area

This day I just needed to get out of the house for some brunch with a friend. There was not a bad thing that happened here the food, atmosphere, service everything was great. I will admit when I got the bill it was a little steep but it was worth it. She had leftovers and I did as well she said the biscuits and gravy were to die for. I had the chicken wrap and it was just as good when I ate it three more times later on during the day. Hence they have a very large portions . As for the Bloody Mary it was on point.

Great experience at 7mile cafe! From the warm greeting to the beautiful atmosphere and great food I would 10/10 recommend this place. Staff does not listen to what you request & does not pay attention to what s going on with the restaurant. Waited 30 minutes in the car after going back and forth multiple times to see how many people were ahead. Asked for patio seating which was empty for 15 mins out of the thirty minute wait period. Finally, after being seated waited another 10 minutes just to get water. Ask for the manager, voiced my concerns with her and was given a dirty look & told ill go see what happened. Never again!
