Place was real dim needed better lighting, Salmon was ok, the rice was a bit crunchy, the broccoli was a no go the peppers and no seasoning just wasnt for mw, and so was the zucchini. I think if they actually flamed grilled zucchini in long slices it would be perfect. The bread was really good. Staff was extremely friendly and pretty quick to help serve you.

We eat here fairly regularly. The service is usually very good. Occasionally if there are large parties to be served the service can slow down. The salads are quite generous and the salad dressings are made in house. The toasties are scrumptious. I like the chicken dishes and ribeye steak.

I ordered the surf and turf. The shrimp and steak were delicious but the sides were very mediocre. The mac and cheese tasted like kraft and the garlic potatoes were very bland and dry. All in all ok experience but things could definitely be better. Wouldnt go out of my way to eat here.

We got one of the family style grill plates and it was phenomenal. The steak was cooked perfect, the chicken was tasty and not dry and the ribs ... I would order those ribs every day. The grilled shrimp is as you would expect, cooked and seasoned nicely. The waitress was attentive and answered all our questions. First time visit and will not be our last. Vegetarian options: Sides offered and salads Kid-friendliness: My 12 year old is fidgety and can be loud,, did not bother anyone.

The 2 hostess really need to have better customer service. We walked in and were told 10 minutes waiting. A family of 4 walked in and they told the family 40 minutes. They left. The 2 hostess laughed. Another family walks in and were told 1 hour wait. They left. We were finally seated. There was plenty of open tables for the other families. Our waitress was named Chloe and gave exceptional customer service. If you want your restaurant to succeed you really need people upfront who are eager to help customers and not chase them away. Food was great. Again thank you to Chloe.

Worst experience ever. I have always loved this place. Tonight that changed. Waitress was horrible she didnt listen to my order (starting with my SWEET tea, she brought me a regular) Then when I ordered, I very clearly asked for Grilled chicken avocado salad she took a while looking for it, so I helped her, On the menu it is called The Texas Flame Avocado salad ....after she found it she asked, Do you want it the way it comes?....I answered, oh yes, please, with everything Then she brings out with no grilled chicken. So I said, Im sorry you forgot the chicken and she said, no, remember I asked you if you wanted it the way it comes....so I replayed the whole conversation to her, and still said, right, the way it comes, do you want me to add chicken now? By then I was over it, and I said, no thank you she continued to keep asking me, are you sure?....I finally had to take a deep breath and give her a look like please leave me alone I brought the salad home. And of course no one offered to remove it from the check. I would not have let them remove it, but they could have offered.

I havent eaten here in years. It was always so fresh and delicious. Last time I ate here the fried shrimp were burnt and dripping with burnt flavor oil. The fried okra was the same. Actually everything is very good we steak of course, atmosphere has always been very nice and service was good . The only complaint is after all that the food presentation was that of Lubys. A blank platter with a steak the sides were in separate side bowls. At least have the sides on the same plate to give the presentation of the awesome experience is about to be. The restaurant is not inexpensive so give your food the presentation that it deserves.

My husband and I came here for our 3 year anniversary dinner while staying at a resort down the road and it was a very nice experience. The host was very sweet, I even called ahead of time and mentioned it was our anniversary and she was very inviting and encouraged us to come by. Our sever, Josue, did a wonderful job, and gave some really good recommendations. The sides weren t the best, but the steaks and lobster were very good and the mozzarella sticks were to die for! The parking lot is a bit rough, so watch out for pot holes.

So this was a first for me to eat here. I learned this place has quite a reputation. The steaks here are delicious! Our waitress Aracely did an excellent job. There was a hiccup for my order but it was more on me than her I should have been more clear on what I ordered. But she acted quickly. The sandwich I got was good and sweet. The appetizer sample plate was great! It s a small count on the fires but they are slim and wide. So that makes up for it. Out of fairness I will give this a healthy 4. Aracely still did a great job so she does deserve her share of pRaise.

BIG LESSON TO BE LEARNED HERE. Dined in at Outback tonight, which should have been our first choice. Thinking we d enjoy dinner at Texas Flame, oh boy! WERE WE WRONG! No one should be treated terribly the way we were @ Texas Flame! Says a lot about the management. Talk about losing your appetite!! Had to leave there after being attended by the worst of the worst hostess( little red haired girl). We decided to leave, but was stopped by the owners sister. Trying to apologize for the hostess bad attitude in a very apologetic way. We decided to speak to the owner, and when he was told we wanted to share a word with him, he pretended we didn t exist! We stood there being ignored. We ended up leaving, and happily had dinner at The Outback . HUGE DIFFERENCE !! From the moment we walked in! They even apologized after they heard the news of what we just went thru. Oh yes!! getting the word out. Destiny was our server @ Outback and we fell in love with her. Kind, respectful, and a true team player. Thank you Destiny, remember our conversation dear. We will be Outback again. Hope to see you again great prices, beautiful atmosphere!

At Texas Flame in Corpus Christi, my wife and I were greeted by Manoli, who provided excellent service throughout our meal. We started with fried pickles, then I had the Cajun shrimp pasta while she enjoyed the 10 oz sirloin. For dessert, we shared Coconut Meringue Pie. I really enjoyed eating here. They not only serve rolls before the meal, they also serve what I can describe as small, crispy pieces of toast with a spread/dip. They were burnt but that actually enhanced the taste as its done purposefully....I think I ate every piece . The steak that I had was fantastic....incredible grill markings and super flavorful. Everyone really enjoyed their food.....BUT....I am an HUGE fan of green beans and was disappointed that they put chopped pieces of red pepper in theirs and they are served in a juice that was constituted with these peppers. It tastes good....just not my preference..(pic included)....would have been nice if that was listed in the menu......I would have ordered a different side, but again...they did taste good

Texas Flame is a local GEM! There are plenty of yummy menu options which fulfills the needs of my family and our varying dietary preferences/restrictions. My personal favs are the fried calamari, the steak and shrimp (incredibly juicy and flavorful) and loaded baked potato! Service that my family receives there has been quick and consistently friendly! It was my birthday & I had numerous friends tell me about The Flame so 3 of us went for a late lunch. Service & atmosphere were adequate but the food was definitely sub-par. I asked for rare prime rib while my friends got filets. Mine was over cooked while one of the filets was over cooked & one under cooked. The prime rib was tough & stringy we should have sent all 3 meals back. It was a fiasco! My pina colada was watered down & virtually tasteless & my cheese cake was light, fluffy & bland. For $150 tab you get one chance & you re out! Our server didn t offer drink refills or more bread & the young man who brought out the meals acted put out because I asked for horse radish. My fur babies were happy with their doggie bag! Seriously?

Service: Two staff members were having an altercation as we entered the restaurant but not a deal breaker and our server was amazing with us and the other tables nearby. Food: The ribeye dinner plate was just ok. It was overcooked 1 level more than ordered and the flavor wasn t there. I ve had better steaks at Chili s. We added butter and salt tableside and that helped. Disliked sides: green beans (have tomatoes), and the mac and cheese was off. Liked sides: salad, baked potato. We usually eat at home during the week but since it was my 42nd birthday we decided to go out to eat. Do not go to this place for a steak. You will be disappointed. I asked to speak with the manager but didnt get blessed with his or her presence. They definitely got the bill right though.

Food is always great! Home cooked food feel. Chicken Fried Steak, beef tips and rice, all steaks, pork chops are amazing! Bar drinks are always top notch! Local business for years and a must try! You wont be disappointed!

Don t let the outside fool you, it s what s inside that counts. I stopped in on a whim when I decided on a steak for dinner and didn t want a chain restaurant experience. The 12oz ribeye was one of the better ones I ve ever had. The green beans were delicious and the salad was fresh. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and would certainly come back without hesitation. The atmosphere gets 4 stars because it just feels a little low end for the quality of their product. While the service was more than adequate, I asked my server, How s it going? To which she replied, It s going It set a tone that did not match the rest of the evening which included great food, quick service, and an otherwise pleasurable experience.

Nicos is better by a mile. Caesar salad was bad. Nicos had fresh Parm slices and really authentic dressing. Texas flame tasted like great value. Bathroom was gross. Ordered a ribeye and pretty sure I got a sirloin. Cook(nice guy) came over and said he had asked the same thing and was told it was a ribeye without the cap. You know, the best part. Again, Nicos was cheaper, nicer, cleaner, and a far superior experience. People working here are nice, but thats not enough to save this place. Not nearly. Update: I was polite the whole time, never raised my voice, smiled and told the waitress I understood that she was busy. She offered to get the manager and the manager refused to come over. Lol. Done.

My first time eating here this week for lunch and I was really disappointed. Nothing tasted good. My lemon pepper chicken was soo salty, the green beans tasted old. And the steak fries needed some seasoning or salt. The only thing I enjoyed was the croutons.

Excellent food, we had steak and seafood. They graciously added a little more heat to my too rare fr medium steak and it was still very tender. Staff was helpful sound patient. Nice sides drinks and desserts. We will be back!

Went to outback but their power was out so my boyfriend suggested we go here. His family came here a few weeks ago after his uncles funeral and had a good experience. Caleb was our server this evening and he was amazing. So warm, helpful and didn t make us feel like we were troubling him when we asked for anything. The expo who dropped our food off even asked if he could do anything else for us. I m in the industry and it s hard to find good help. A+

I ate here on a Sunday lunch time, the place had a nice non-chain atmosphere . It was busy and I had a 30 minute wait for a table. Ordered a Rib-eye as it is my favourite cut and the steak was cooked perfectly, one of the best I have ever had. I will definitely go here again it I am in Corpus Christi again!

The only thing good was the filet mignon and steak. I was very disappointed in the side dishes. For a place that specializes in steaks, I was very surprised they used mashed potato that comes from a box. Very disgusting. The chicken tortilla soup was the worst soup I have ever gotten, especially because that is my FAVORITE soup. The salad my fiancé got was a joke. Store-bought lettuce bag, 2-3 croutons, 2 small tomatoes and 3/4 pieces of shredded carrots. I also ordered an alcoholic drink which took a white to get. My fiancé has 2 beers before I even got mine and that s because my drink was waiting in the bar for a long time. I wanted to go grab it myself. Mind you, it wasn t busy at all. Definitely not going back here. It was a waste of $90, in my opinion.

Go there often there new policies are if you want croutons and dip you have to ask now. Ok fair enough. So I asked and my waitress said we are out imagine my disappointment. Only to see the table two rows from me and my wife got croutons 5 minutes later. And was never asked if we would like some they just maid more. Other than that my favorite place to eat.

A friend and I had Sunday Lunch here the food was great. They have good priced lunch menu and the bartender made us beautiful non-alcoholic Strawberry daiquiri with a slice of strawberry on top. Fabulous. Here we had to take out there was so much food on our plates. We enjoyed it all.

Plenty of parking outside throughout the shopping center parking lot. We checked in and we re told 30 min wait by cold staff up front. Plenty of people waiting outside for a table so we almost left. Host offered to seat us at bar right away with full service menu available. We agreed to go this route. Weird feeling walking thru the restaurant to our seats and we noticed empty tables everywhere, yet plenty of people outside waiting for a table?? We ordered right away. Steak was juicy, tender, and flavorful. No steak sauce needed. Loaded baked potato was the same as anywhere else. Highly recommend the food. Service gets a pass cause bartender was super cool and provided excellent customer service. That mojito with Tito s Vodka hit the spot after a long day at the office. Atmosphere seems too dark and out dated. We will definitely be back. Wheelchair accessibility: Tables a wheel chair accessible.

First time coming here with a group of 5 people. There were a couple of ladies in the front who greeted us very nicely. Our waitress was friendly we had no problems waiting for drinks/refills or our food. My only small problem was that the lemon chicken breast i ordered was a little cold. The green beans were also a little cold but the baked potato was just right. I will be back to try other things on the menu.

Service was horrible. Had to track down our waitress several times. Then tell her several times we needed refills on our drinks. No one seemed like they even wanted to be there today. Stakes were not cooked properly had to send them back. Manager finally came out and asked how everything was. Dinner rolls, haha more like small dirt clods. They were so hard we couldnt even cut them with a knife. Lighting needs a lot of work. (VERY dim. Had to use flash light to read our menus. And see our food.
