What I would call a local dive bar/restaurant. Great location right on the water next to the aircraft carrier. Food and service was spot on and they have a menu for your dog. Dogs bowl was sizable and she ate it all before we were even half finished our meals. Really liked the place and the people and the food will bring us back.

Hi! I visited you guys facility yesterday afternoon and I must say it was a great time. To start off Scott, our waiter had such an amazing personality and was timely with all of his deliveries. The mango mimosas were too tier and a great price due to happy hour. The fried fish and shrimp lunch platter was very filling and perfectly crisp! Thank you guys so much again, we will be back.

We came here on a recommendation for the oysters and it unfortunately was not up to snuff. The service was great, if quick since we came on a busy afternoon. We ordered 1 dozen oysters, 1 lb peel shrimp, and a kids shrimp basket. The oysters shells were gigantic but the flesh was small and we had to really scrape it off the shell. The taste was normal but definitely had more sand and grit than oyster.The shrimp was seasoned fined but definitely overcooked and was difficult to peel without crumbling to mush between your fingers. The kids shrimp basket was adequate though. Not sure if it was just an off day but overall the experience was lackluster and we left hungry. Kid-friendliness: High chairs available. Venue is family friendly.

My family and I had a beach weekend, and stopped into Pier 99 for lunch before heading out. It was a fantastic experience! While we were dealing with a fussy child, the staff (and especially our server, Javi) were patient, attentive and incredibly helpful. The live band started playing, and it was all good vibes and great food. The snapper with crawfish sauce was excellent. A nice gentleman named Eddie came by just to check on us; exceeding expectations of service without being bothersome. I also wanna give a big shout out to Gigi for being a literal service marksman. Excellent job all around, will return soon! Thank yall

Came here after years of being away and we were coming to relive some old memories in honor of a deceased friend. Ordered the fried whole snapper which turned out to be parrot fish, the snapper with crawfish sauce which ended up being a premade sauce, the blackened grilled chicken, and fries fish and shrimp platter. All 4 of us felt the food was bland and just not appetizing. The chicken definitely was not blackened. The sides were also lacking seasoning. The drinks were meh. The only thing I can recommend is the boudin balls they were good as was the key lime pie. Other than that it was unilaterally decided that we will not be returning.

Our bartender, Tammy, is a great mixologist. Best Rumrunner and my wife s Bloody Marg was spot on. Great to have a drink that s not watered down. Keep up the good work Ms. Tammy, you re killing it! However, after posting this about our amazing drinks, we were seated at our table and no one brought us menus and they forgot about us. My husband went to question this who we think is the manager & he came to our table to assure us that a waiter would be coming which didn t happen so we got up and left after waiting a little longer. The bartender was willing to accommodate us, Ms. Tammy, but after waiting one hour with no solution, I walked out. Only to return to tell the manager that it was one hour waiting & no one attended to us. He said I ll let them know. And the place was not even packed with patrons. So sad because we come here almost every weekend!

We eat here several times a year. We were here on July 4th and it was awesome! How ever this time the host was very rude and condescending. We asked to sit under the tiki huts by the fans. He stated that we could sit where he sat us or leave. So we left. We have been patronizing this restaurant for several years. Came in from Minnesota to see USS Lexington and then came to Pier 99 looking to rehydrate with some drinks. This place did not disappoint. Drinks are great and reasonably priced. Also the Keylime pie was great. I think the thing that made the place so memorable was our server Micah. He was energetic polite and gave some great recommendations and was fun. The view of the USS Lexington from the outdoor bar area is amazing. Hearing the waves of the Gulf Coast crash while havin my drinks set a tone that cant be replicated anywhere else. Also Jay the cook (who i asked for his named specifically to shout him out) didnt miss a beat, he made our blackened crawfish sauce plate with perfection, and that shows a lot especially at the time we arrived. This was my first time here. I got a basic plate but the food was good and for cheap, too. The customer service was 10/10, which is what I keep an eye out for for a great experience at a new restaurant. We learned about new and big plans that the restaurant has in store for the locals & cant wait to come back! It was actually happy hour when we went and the drinks were delicious. Not overwhelming with alcohol. It was balanced really well. I love this place

Absolutely HORRIBLE. Decided to sit inside where its empty and boring due to being short on time and there being a wait time for patio. Still took just about 40 minutes to get our food. Server seemed to have forgotten we were in the indoor area since we were the only ones there. Got told 2 different times, 10 minutes apart our food is coming right up. Once i got my fish platter it was seriously shocking how bad and overcooked the fish was. Ridiculous for it being a waterfront resturant. Needless to say we will not be returning to this poor excuse of a seafood restaurant.

Hailee was such a sweet lady. She helped with my family (foreign/ extremely little English) being able to order and understand what some dishes are. One of the best serves we had on our Texas trip. Parking: You do have to pay for parking but its between huge attractions so understandable
