Took way too long for food the last person in our group got their food first and finished it and we are waiting still for 20 minutes after. Worst experience I ve ever had in corpus and that is speaking volumes because corpus is BAD. We waited over an hour for WINGS meanwhile people who ordered after us were getting their pizzas and finishing and boxing them up. Didn t have half the beers they had signs for. TERRIBLE!!!! Also one of the servers had a sweat stain he kept grabbing all throughout the kitchen in an orange shirt and someone dropped to go containers on the floor picked them up and put them back on the shelf. DISGUSTING!!!!

My family picked up a cheese pizza. It was bad. Sauce was dried up, pizza was small and costed 17 bucks for what would be considered a little bigger than a personal pizza. It looked like it had been sitting under the heat lamp for awhile. Very hard. We all agreed that pizza was bad. Couldnt even finish the whole thing so we threw it out. A huge waste of 17 dollars.

Being truly blunt and honest, I love this place. Any location I have gone to gives exactly what I want- Pretty good food, cheap and good drinks, and a cozy atmosphere to have a chill time with friends or family. I love B&Js- they will never NOT have me as a customer! Their pizzas are fresh and delicious with wide options to choose from, their buffalo wings are delightful as well. Id rate the food mid overall simply because it is what youd expect from a pub. It is not michelin star quality but it is delicious, especially when youre drunk! Youre coming here for a good time, not a fancy restaurant. I have not been disappointed any time I have gone to a B&Js brewpub.

I ordered a pizza, which was amazing. You can tell that they really put the time into preparing it. The ingredients were fresh, and the dough was hand tossed. The seating area is on the minimal side, which some people might not care for, but I thought it fit the place perfectly.

First off let me say that Ive been going to B&Js for probably 25 years & they are my favorite pizza place. I decided to place an online order since that was recommended in their voicemail recording when I called their southside location. I placed my order at 5:26pm & figured it would probably take an hour for my order to be ready. After about an hour I checked the status of the order & it still showed as in preparation. I periodically checked the status & kept getting the same message. So at 7:30, 2 hours after placing my order I went to the store, stood in the same line for customers who were dining in just to find out if my order was ready, which it was. Unfortunately the pizza was luke warm & soggy because it probably had been sitting on top of the oven for probably close to an hour. I really dont like leaving such a negative review for one of my favorite local restaurants but they seriously need to either hire more people or get a better system. They dont answer the phones when you call & you dont receive any type of status updates. Even now, 3 hours after my order was placed it still shows as in preparation .

A large group of my coworkers and I decided to go here for lunch. They have some pretty good lunch specials. I ordered the 8 inch pizza and a drink and I also ordered a side salad, which was extra. I mean, you gotta have a salad if youre going to eat pizza. Right? I decided to go with the pick your own four toppings choice. And of course my favorites are pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms and black olives. And no, Im not trying to copy Jerry Seinfeld. My salad came out first and shortly thereafter they brought out my 8 inch pizza. Both were very tasty! The drinks were from the fountain dispenser so it was endless refills. Will I go back here? Oh, most definitely!!

This place is in need of a health code visit. It s so dirty, the grime on the chairs has been scratched out by other visitors. Lunch time room temp was around 78 and the bathrooms were even hotter. No one in the kitchen is wearing hair or beard nets honestly, we should ve just left and not eaten here. Idk how others love it. More for y all. We won t be back.

Our order was completely wrong. :( We werent able to correct because it would have meant wed be late to our movie. We ordered half dozen wings, only got 5 & they were the wrong flavor. We got concerned about the time on our pizza and found out after an hour of waiting that our pizza with additional toppings was handed out to the wrong table. The staff gave us an available pizza since we didnt have time to wait. We appreciated that, but disappointed in visiting this location for the first time. Never had problems at the SPID location

My family and I frequent B&J s often, so we decided to have a gathering for a birthday party there this past weekend in the middle of the day when it was not busy. After ordering, we were told there was a mandatory 15% gratuity for a party of 10 or more. I assumed we would have an assigned server. That was not the case. Staff members brought out our three platters of wings. Once our pizzas came out, we were left with dirty plates that they did not offer to remove from our table. We placed all of the dirty dishes on a nearby clean table to make room for clean plates for the pizza. When we were done with our pizza platters and used plates, we again put them on the other table. No one from the staff offered to clear our tables as we ate nor bring us a pitcher of water or a pitcher of soda to fill the drinks we purchased. If you re going to charge a 15% gratuity for larger parties, then that party should have an assigned server just like any other restaurant. Customers should not be charged a gratuity to bring out food and clear the tables when the guests leave. That is their job, and they earn an hourly wage to do it. The level of service we received did not warrant a mandatory gratuity. You have some of the best pizza in town and should do better.

The pepperoni pizza is really good there.The Italian sausage pizza had no flavor. Its very bland.The next we go the I gotta try the wings.The freaking looked huge.Everytime I saw I a plate go by us, I couldnt believe how big those wings were.

Came for dinner on a Friday afternoon, the place was packed but we still only had to wait about 30 minutes for our food. I hadnt been here in a while and forgot just how great their pizza was. Also, the beer selection is second to none. They have local craft beers, their own craft beers and hundreds of other beers to choose from. I chose a Bach from Nueces Brewing Company and was not disappointed. I have to get over here more often.

B&Js was hands down best place in town, the salt & pepper wings are to die for....amd the pizza...just WOW..... and quite the assortment of craft and local beers(not a drinker) but theres something for everyone here...

So this is a mix review. We really enjoy the atmosphere here. The pizza and fries are very good. We are a family of 5 and did the lunch special personal pans and were full. My 7 year old got the chicken strips and unfortunately those lacked in flavor. The main issue is if you really look at the soda machine it obviously is lacking on the cleaning schedule. The ice maker has black mold all in it which means so does the soda dispenser tips. So this is also a concern on the cleanliness of where pizza is being made

Worst pizza place Ive visited in Corpus. Im visiting from out of town. I havent been to this place in over 25 years and this is not how I remember it. How can you mess up a a cheese pizza? My pizza barely had cheese and was burnt. It was inedible!

I ordered a cheese pizza. It was burnt and hardly any cheese. It was truly Inedible. Wasted time and money. I cant believe I was given such trash. I havent been to this restaurant in over 25 years and this is how I do not remember it being. I traveled very very far for some nostalgia from when I lived here only to be disappointed. Vegetarian options: When ordering a cheese pizza adding actual cheese would be optimal. Parking: Parking is decent.
