We got the guacamole, tuna nachos, Peruvian Poke, Coconut Shrimp Curry, Pescado Saltado, and the Angus Filet. Everything was absolutely amazing. It isnt super cheap but its very reasonable, and you DEFINITELY get your moneys worth 1000%. Great service. Good atmosphere, music is a tiny bit loud for my preference but it isnt too bad, you can still have conversations with ease.

Noah, was an amazing server, host and bartender! He was exceptional!!! The food was so amazing, the fish tacos, and the cevchie was all fire! 5 freaking stars!!!! The music playlist was also an added plus! San Antonio native here, will definitely come back to this spot! I also loved the Give Back to our staff, $30 tab, thing. I dont remember exactly what it was called but added that to my bill! This place did NOT disappoint! Loved it!!!!!!!

Their prices match the quality in my opinion. My friends and I enjoyed the lively atmosphere, we could see the bar and kitchen from where we were seated, and our service was amazing. Our table really enjoyed the Cucumber Poke bites even though my friend thought she was ordering something completely different from the last time she was here. She was quite happy with what we got and they were very fresh. We all enjoyed our meals, pictured and captioned below! Parking: When that lot is busy, which is almost always, you normally end up parking in the ditch!

This place is more of a bar atmosphere. Very loud and small with very few tables. Not really kid friendly. We ordered fried fish n chips and fried shrimp n chips. Needless to say the fries were the only things that had descent flavor to them. Tartar sauce was our friend for flavor in this meal. Our bill with tip was $45.00.

Normally Im 5 stars with this place. Especially given that theres a real lack of quality food in this area. On this last visit I ordered the Pescado Saltado and was told the options for the fish were Mahi or Tuna. I took the Mahi and was served tilapia . It was certainly a small fillet of an entire fish. I still ate it but at least be honest about what you are serving.

The award winning seafood curry was runny and super salty. The fish and chips were over cooked and greasy. They did not have any vinegar for the fish and chips. The ceviche was ok but the chips were greasy and bland. The server didnt know what beers they had nor did they have a beer menu. The Pina colada on the rocks was tasty and they did not put salt on it like I asked. Its amazing how many places fumble a simple request. The fire cracker shrimp was my favorite part of the meal they are big and the Chilis on them were hot. Parking: Parking lot is tiny like 10 spots.

It s almost always busy because everything they make is absolutely perfect and there s nothing on the menu that isn t delicious. The specials change daily and major kudos to the chefs for keeping it interesting because we eat here basically once a week. Expect fusion authentic Peruvian! The burgers are under rated-very tasty! Pork belly tacos will blow your mind. Can never go wrong with their ceviche. Lomo saltado with an egg is a crowd favorite and you can distinctly choose smell the wok frying as soon as you walk in. Llama wings are always big and juicy and perfect for a spicy lover. The ranch is made in house and has a sweetness to it. Order a very refreshing pisco smash drink and thank me later.

Excellent cocktails, atmosphere, food, and service. The food is some of the best I ve had anywhere. Perfect date night too. They have really tasty, fresh, seafood, and seasonings without tons of heavy cream or cheeses. I love to eat food where the food is the star and to me you get that when the food is quality. I had tuna and a spicy jalapeño margarita. My date had one of the main Peruvian dishes and it looked and smelled amazing. He s still talking about it a week later.

Wow! I was so surprised to find this place really has authentic ceviche, I lived in Lima when I was little and my honeymoon was in Lima, Peruvian food is to me the worlds best cuisine and this place did not disappoint! The ceviche was perfect, the scallops with Parmesan were delicious and the alfajor for dessert was so good, felt very homey I loved it and we will definitely be back. The waitress ( I think her name was Kim) was so nice and attentive what a wonderful lady!

Food here is decent, its definitely not authentic Peruvian food, but its the closest you can get in Corpus Christi. My husband and I have been here a few times and the service is consistently slow, even when the restaurant is near empty. Also, if your selling point is ceviche, it would help if the to-go containers were airtight so it doesnt spill.

The drinks were really good, chilcano, pisco sour and sangria, great presentation. The pork belly sandwich (chicharron) and lomo saltado were pretty good. Not very authentic or traditional flavor, thats for sure, but pretty tasty. I was super excited for the conchitas a la parmesana, and once again not exactly what we were expecting, but they were ok. The ceviche on the other hand, 0 flavor, tried to fix it with some lime and salt, but thats not a peruvian ceviche, lacking leche de tigre and had 0 spice, 0 salt, 0 flavor.

Decided to come here on a whim on our way back from a fishing trip. The food was delicious! We had the lomo saltado, ceviche peruano, and grilled cheese sandwiches (for the kids). The flavors were authentic and everything was super tasty. The only downside was that we had to wait 30+ minutes for our order, but in the end it was worth it because we were very satisfied with the food (maybe the wait was because we came in at an off time in the afternoon around 3 PM). Highly recommend you give this place a try!

This place was popular tonight so the parking lot was full. You have to find parking on the grass but beware the drainage ditch. When you first walk in you ll notice a bar atmosphere and a smoky haze that hangs throughout the room. At first I thought I was in a cigar joint. Then I realized that it s coming from the open kitchen and whatever fan is there isn t working. So come prepared to go home smelling of whatever is popular that day. Second you ll notice that the tables are all crooked. Some more than others. It s hilarious to watch other people eating like in a Picasso painting. Thirdly there s an ATM machine next to the bar. Why is it there, I wondered. The bar was full and it looked like they were busy. They got the orders quick enough. It took a long time for the food to come out. Looking into the kitchen it looked like there was only one cook on the station with the fire. The Food. Almost everything we ordered was salty on the magnitude of 3. I had the tuna nachos and the only way it was slightly bearable was eating it with the nacho chips. In fact the best thing about that nacho was the chips. The salt and pepper wings had something very tart with an odd taste. It wasn t a pleasant taste. My little nephew spit it out on the 1st try. The shrimp curry was way off the chart in one spice. It was not edible. I ve never had curry like that before. The Pescado saltado was so salty. The ceviche was meh. The coconut tres leches doesn t stand up to a normal tres leches. There was supposed to be all these Asian flavors and somehow it all went wrong. Being that I m Asian I can t imagine any true Asian accepting this standard of cooking. If this was an off night then they really need to work on consistency with someone needing to check on the quality of food being sent out. 2 stars for food. 3 for service. 2 for the polluted atmosphere.

I agree with the environment about this place. It s a dive. It s not what you d want; I knew this and opt to take it to go. It got worse. My husband and I come down to north padre every year from Austin for his birthday. This year we came twice, today is our anniversary. In June we found Costa sur and loved it as we haven t like any of the food down here. The first order in June, we got the wrong order and luckily they just gave us someone else s and we got ours quickly. Last night I called in an order at 5pm and was specifically asked if I d like fish or shrimp for my taco and told the order would be ready in 20 mins. We drove up There at 530 and the order was not ready for another 10-15mins. When we got our order, my tacos were replaced with fried fish and fries. We called them to get the right order and drove back. When we got there, the order hadn t even been put in. My husbands sandwich was now cold at the hotel while we waited so I asked for another sandwich (this was our anniversary dinner and we just wanted it to be right and enjoyable!) I waited around with extremely loud horrible music and barely any air flow. The manager could hardly help as she was too busy being a server and she couldnt even hear me speak over the guy trying to sing- I didn t get my food until 7pm. Overall: dark, loud, horribly long wait, food is fine but not great

If I could give this a 10 star I would. I have a refined pallet for sea food, being raised in Alaska, and the PNW. I must the the ceviche fusion and the fish tacos are an absolute must! We re not from Port A, (Austin) but we make a special trip ever 3 months to come to the beach. We plan it around when this restaurant is open that s how good it is. I brought my sister here she lives in Portland and she literally cried when she ate the ceviche. I ve been around the world and everyone that lives within 30 mins from here is BLESSED to have Costa Sur within driving distance from them! It s a must go! We ve had the wings, nachos, and curry bowls, burger, you can t go wrong here. The cooks need a raise, the attention to detail is insane, ever meal is PACKED with flavor! I didn t eat all my meal so I can savor it later. Till the next time guys! Can t wait!

The scallop appetizer is so savory and buttery, and the coconut basil rice and tacos are always delicious! They pickle the onions in house and their sauces are awesome! Follow their Facebook for specials like brunches and events! We did a brunch with a bunch of ladies around Christmas and the owner delivered our meal in a Santa suit! The drink options are great and you should definitely try the Pisco Sour or Leche De Tigre!

I love this place it takes a lot for me to leave less than five stars somewhere I like but I am a career restaurateur and every time I go in there its crushing to watch these hardworking bartenders try to cover a whole restaurant floor with just two of them. Wheres the manager? When I manage Im out there hustling like crazy helping to bus tables and when my staff is too far behind Im helping two refill drinks and run food or even take an order if I have to. Theyll have like seven people on the kitchen line looking at each other because the staff cant turntables over fast enough to keep the orders coming. Meanwhile were sitting there for near 10 minutes before we get our first drink order and only when I call for the bartender to come talk to us. Thats how we had to do it every time we needed anyting, then we got to watch our food sit in the window for a while Love this place food atmosphere and location are great but that manager needs to get out there and get to work or at least schedule another person on the floor. Or let it cook go out and help out or something? Sorry about the rant I just really want to enjoy my time there.

Waited over 15 minutes to get anyone to take even a drink order after we sat down and they werent even busy. Our appetizer sat for over 10 minutes before the server brought it to our table. We asked for a side of ranch and after we got the bill it had a $2.00 charge for the tiny cup of ranch....we were never told when we asked for the ranch that there would be a charge, let alone a $2.00 charge, which is outrageous!!! I told the server that had she told me it would be $2, I would have never got it.... her reply, in a not so nice tone, what do you want me to do about it... in which we replied, take it off our bill. She agreed to remove the charge..... we were just there on Vacation, but the friends we were with, live there. They said they will never go back and neither will we. The fried fish was totally over cooked and we waited over 45 minutes to get our meal. Was a very unpleasant experience and wasnt cheap!!!

The wok fish was okay but too spicy for my taste. They made cusromerss wait even though there were open tables because there were reservations. Thats admirable, except that I noticed the people who reserved werent due in until an hour or so later. The wait time was about 30 to 45 minutes long. Once seated, another 1 hr to be served. Nice little place to visit on the island.they have a decent menu selection and my food at least was pretty good. The nachos were fantastic as well as my like bowl. Drinks were a little slow and to be completely honest tasted watered down. But that might be because they were short staffed and it seems the drinks took a minute to get to the table after being made. Definitely get the pork belly steamed buns! OMG good. The place was clean and the staff friendly. Bathrooms were pretty clean as well. Its a small place with a very very small parking lot so be prepared to wait. The crew that works here will have you laughing and rolling if you show up by yourself and want company. If youre with friends, family, or business partners and want or need privacy, this place has accommodations for all! With that being said, when I eat here usually I have my son with me, he is entertained by the vast options of games, toys, and coloring books in the childrens section (everything is clean also!) If I could say more about this place I would, but honestly its a must go to if youre anywhere near North Padre Island! Stopped in here on vacation for my sons birthday - the food was well worth the price! We had the Serrano Sahsimi, Haole Poke, Peruvian Poke, Tuna Nachos, and Four Leches cake - and we recommend all of it! (Though my son wishes he had gotten the Peruvian Poke instead)

Worse experience and ceviche ever. Disinterested and clueless waitress served deconstructed ceviche that was NOT marinated and had raw tuna on top. If raw seafood is not marinated in lemon or lime it s NOT ceviche. Ridiculous.

Every dish Ive had here has been absolutely amazing. The Ceviche Fusion is on point, the Coconut Basil Fried Rice is more than delicious, and the wings are without a doubt the best in town. If you enjoy spicy, the Spicy Llama sauce, along with other sauces made in house, will not disappoint. Cheers!

My husband and I came for dinner one night on a slow night and the food was pretty good. But he wasnt impressed that a few of the empty tables were still dirty. There was only about 4 other couples there. Our waiter was great. But nothing was really spectacular about the place.

Very loud music, cannot have a conversation. Smelled pot as we walked in. A woman who knew our server was either very drunk or on drugs or both even told her to be quiet, did not, left and came back causing a commotion again . Did not feel very comfortable with that situation. First time being there and will not be back.

Drinks perfect, bartender (Shae sorry if I spelt it wrong ) perfect, food perfect! Clean and well decorated to keep table talk flowing with wonder, with a nice patio as well. Definitely about to be our regular stop when on the island. Parking: Shopping center where half of the occupants are closed after office hours. Wheelchair accessibility: Right in front there is two spots.

The dish I always get wasnt as good as it normally has been. Was not as flavorful. Then charging For an extra small tarter sauce for the fish was ridiculous. Figured I better not ask for ketup. Finally, our waitress was very nice, but I thought ( and others at my table) she was inappropriately dressed for the setting. Oh and never asked if we needed another drink from the bar, so we didnt have a second drink. Parking: Small lot but was able to park. Not much can be done on that front.

Actually had a great experience although the older reviews were disappointing. Nick, host and chef, received us and told us to sit anywhere that he was going to send someone over. I told my wife this is how some of the negative reviews started. Sasha, the server, was at the table in no time with a smile and took our orders. We had the salchipapas and ceviche a la mixta, ahh. Food took like 15 minutes and it was delicious. Sasha came by the table a couple of times to see how we were doing and then Nick stopped by. Food was delicious and service was very good with a nice bar atmosphere.

I had ceviche, fried fish and fried yucca, my personal opinion. The ceviche was very oversalted, almost inedible. I ordered a mixed ceviche and it had pieces of fish, it looked like shredded fish instead of squares, 4 octopus tentacles, and it didnt come with shrimp, the fried fish with 4 pieces was tasteless. The fried yucca was good, I ordered 2 beers, one was hot and the second was brought cold, 2 adults and one child ate and it came out to $100, very expensive for the quality and quantity. No one speaks Spanish in the supposedly Peruvian restaurant, I will not return.

Everything was delicious, we order the Firecraker shrimp as appetizer together with the Leche de Tigre a lo macho, wow, simply amazing. As Entrees we ordered the Tallarin saltado with shrimp and scallops, the Pescado Saltado and the Pescado a la Ponca, everything tasted fresh and amazing. This is a total gem in North Padre Island and we will definitely go back next time we visit. Service was great and fast. 100% recommended! Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options Garden Globbers its called in the menu Parking: Its not the biggest parking but it has some spots. I gave up on customer service in Corpus Christi . We walked in, nobody was there to greeting us or at least telling us where to sit so, we just sat ourselves not knowing if the area was opened or not. Them a girl from behind the bar walks towards us, locks eye contacts with us but does not say hi and does not ask us if she could offer us anything to drink or takes our order so we figured maybe she is busy and will come back, only for her to go back to the bar and chat with another worker,, she walk by us ONE MORE TIME , so I tried to get her attention saying EXECUSE ME, EXEXUSE ME . She continues to walk back to the bar and not help us , so we had to leave ...the poor owner has the wrong people there...they are probably ok now because of the lack of resturants on the island but the population is growing and I guarantee you that if they keep doing what they are doing sadly they will end up going out of business . Oh well we had a blast somewhere else spending a big chunk of money. It is what it is...what can you do. I ate there before, they have good food but just DO NOT EXPECT GOOD SERVICE...the food is NOT THAT GREAT to put up with that type of service for me. Not going there again lol

Worst restuant experience weve ever had. We frequently go to Costa, but the male server we had today was beyond awful. We ordered chips and quac, sashimi, and tuna nachos. Took almost 2 hours, and us actually having to check on our food multiple times and order drink refills with the bartender (she was really nice) Finally we asked our server if our food was the food that we had been staring at for well over 30min just sitting on the line, and he said itll be out when its out. Turned out it was our food. We again asked about the chips and guac, and the server said well you didnt see it up there did you?. We paid and left. Never got our guac.

I ordered the Wok fish Entree, it was delicious. Flavors on point. The only thing was that my glass of water had food in the bottom of cup! One set of silverware had residue of old food on it too. I realize this is most likely due to an old dishwasher. Get dishwasher replaced/fixed and restaurant would be 5 stars!!! Service was great too. Our waitress was awesome.

Went there for Dinner as part of my work trip and from the entrance I was greeted by very attentive and friendly staff. I was surprised at how fast the service is and how nice the place is. The Drinks are top notch I recommend the Coco Loco and their other house specialties. The Food was also top notch the service was incredible with very little wait times. The servers were always attentive to my needs and the taste of the food was on point if you are ever in the area I highly recommend this spot. For appetizer I ordered the pork belly buns and they were amazing for the main dish we got the tuna tacos and the beer battered fried shrimp tacos which you cant go wrong with along with the side of the beef fried rice. All the favors were delectable and the drinks were amazing!

I ordered the fusion ceviche. It has interesting ingredients like coconut milk and mango. But this dish was so doused with vinegar to fast cook the raw fish that it was borderline inedible. Do not order ceviche that hasnt been cooking in lime juice overnight. Otherwise the cooks will quick cook it with excessive doses of vinegar. It overpowered the delicacy of the coconut milk and mango.
