Big disappointment. Whataburger is a Texas Icon. I expected more than a small shack with painted on windows. Maybe a museum or a place to buy Whataburger merch and souvenirs would help.

Such a cool vibe. The staff at the restaraunt was so nice to take our photo in front of the replica building. Its nice to know that they preserved a bit of the family history for people to enjoy. Wish that the store that operates there would sell some merchandise.

I wish it had served burgers here but the replica was really net, and just to visit the home of the famous whataburger so to cool, there is a restaurant on site that you can eat at and still enjoy the famous burgers. We had came down from Aggie town and stopped here along the way!

I actually worked in this building, though it was at a different location at the time, in the summer of 1966. Behind that building was an office where I had the pleasure of meeting the founder, Harmon Dobson twice and had some conversations with him. I think that Mr. Dobson died a few months later in a plane crash. There was a wonderful bunch of guys that worked there, though I don t remember their names. I left that job to go back to college. At the time I was there, I had no idea how significant that experience would be. I still have some vague recollection of some of the regular customers.
