We really liked this place! The restaurant is clean and nice inside. The servers are super attentive. I ordered the baked ziti with meat sauce and my husband the chicken Marsala. Both dishes were very tasty and portions were generous. Delicious mozzarella sticks too! Good prices for good food!

Ordered a grilled chicken tossed salad with Thousand island dressing . Once it arrived all it was hot grilled chicken on a bed of lettuce, that s it, I said no, I m not eating that , but they charged me for the glass of tea!!! What a mess.

Yael took excellent care of us. We both had Cesar salad, shrimp Alfredo, on one Alfredo we added scallops. The garlic oil, basil, crushed & red pepper blend was so pleasant to the palate. We added it to everything.

Worst Italian restaurant in the world. Where should I start. The bolognese is Orange , for sure fake meat, the lasagne is terrible meat looks like tuna. Went here today with coworkers, my coworkers got to eat but the waiter never put in my order. When asked about my food, it was more of a shrug and what do you want me to do about it. When we were getting ready to leave, the waiter comes over and asks me if I still want food . Came here on accident because another restaurant was closed and it was an amazing mistake. We arrived and got sat instantly. The bread is buttered and soft inside. We ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo; it was delicious. The 10 pepperoni pizza had a thin crust and we even had plenty to take home. The chicken fettuccine comes with a salad or soup and I picked the soup. It was a chicken broccoli soup which had a great taste and paired well with the bread.

The best Italian food in Corpus! Our server, Daniel, took excellent care of us. Service was excellent, our meal was brought out fast, which was perfect for a lunch date. 4 of us (two adults, two kids) ate here today and we were beyond disappointed. Dont get me wrong, the restaurant is nice and menu has a good selection of Italian dishes that all sound delicious. Thats unfortunately where the positives end. Our server was absent most of the time, not rude or anything , just not present and when they were available and an item was requested, it either took a long time for said to be brought or item was forgotten entirely. I understand this when the restaurant is busy but we were among a handful of customers. Then there was the food. Started with a fly in my soup, not the best thing to experience after already eat some. Then on to the entrees. It only took a few bites before we all started feeling ill, stomach pains, nausea etc. Pasta undercooked, chicken/veal cold, pizza wasnt cooked all the way. It was so bad that we couldnt finish and didnt keep our food. We really wanted to like this place but ended up feeling sick and leaving upset. Its important to note that the four of us ordered different meals and we all ended up feeling the same way.

It was my first time at this restaurant. Our group of 4 got the calamari, Stromboli, shrimp scampi, spaghetti, and Philly cheese steak. All the food was delicious. Unfortunately, we won t be going back for awhile until some changes are made. The service was very slow. We had to ask for bread since it wasn t offered. It took a long time to receive the bread. After we finished eating the bread, we saw a small cockroach crawling in the bread basket. It took longer than it should have to get a waiter s attention so they could take it away. Despite this incident, we stayed and continued waiting for our food. It was a very busy Saturday night so it took awhile. When we received our food, it was all delicious and worth the wait. Then we had another cockroach incident about halfway through our meal. This time a larger cockroach was crawling along the wall next to us. It almost crawled onto my sister s hair since she was next to the wall. This time the waitress moved us to a different table away from walls. The waitress did apologize and comp half our meal but we don t feel comfortable returning until they get rid of the cockroaches. There s surely an infestation if they re crawling out of the walls and into the food.

Everything I ve ordered from this restaurant has been authentic and delicious. I ve taken family to experience this wonderful restaurant and suggested it to many friends. Better than olive garden. The soups are so flavorful. The pizza is hand made and addictive! They know how to make creamy ravioli. I also suggest their sweet red wine. My mother is picky with her food but she loved the pizza and was excited to try another dish. The service was also great. They are welcoming and friendly, very professional as well. So dissatisfied.....We ordered the Chicken Marsala last night for take out. . The noodles and chicken were almost black in color . Not ever having this dish here before, my husband thought thus was how it was....well at 3 am we were in the clinic because he was so sick. Tried to go in and discuss this quietly with the chef or manager this evening but Noone wanted to hear me. . The girl offered more food but we didnt want anything else from them. I asked to speak to someone else to alert them but she took a 20 dollar bill out of the register and handed it to me and it felt very dismissive. I didnt take it. We just wanted to be discreet in the busy entry way and really didnt want to say the words Food Poisoning out loud. Well since I was dismissed I decided to let them and you know this way. This is a serious thing and you should have taken us seriously. We will move forward differently now.

Best lasagna and veal picatta with sautéed spinach is the best in All of Corpus Christi! I unfortunately don t have a photo of the Veal dish which had the most delicious lemon caper butter sauce and spaghetti. So good. My wife and I have been coming here for a year and a half and have loved it. I always get the chicken Parmesan and it s always good. However we went today for lunch and I got the chicken Parmesan again. This time, the chicken was just a processed piece of chicken like you would get in a school cafeteria with barely any sauce and a slice of melted cheese. I was so disappointed because normally this is my favorite dish. The chicken is normally a fired chicken breast covered in sauce with melted cheese. Today it was nothing more than what you could get in a school cafeteria lunch. I was so disappointed. I m not sure if they have changed the ingredients permanently or not but for $16 and a nice Italian restaurant I d expect something more than cafeteria food.

I had spaghetti and meatballs , but I asked if tomato sauce could be substituted with garlic butter sauce, and they did . It was delicious. The meatballs were very good with no tomato sauce on them , they were very big ,they held together very well , the seasoning was good. The pasta was a little too Al Dente for me , but with the garlic butter, it was very good. I like the bread they give you and appreciate they have a REAL BUTTER on the table , not a spread or margarine. It is a lot of food , so I took half home. The service was ok .

Very cozy atmosphere ... the supreme pizza we have was delicious and our side salads, too.. We had tossed and Caesar... was really great, and the garlic bread and marinara sauce was outstanding and delicious . Definitely would like to come back when in Corpus

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cafe Italia with two coworkers. We were all looking for a delicious and authentic Italian meal, and we were not disappointed. I started with the Lasagna lunch special, which came with a choice of the soup of the day or a fresh house salad. I chose the salad, which was made with fresh greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, and a light vinaigrette dressing. The salad was delicious and refreshing, and it was the perfect way to start my meal. The lasagna was the star of the show. It was a huge portion, and it was so cheesy and flavorful. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was rich and creamy. It was also served with a side of fresh bread that was warm and flaky. Our server was professional and attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming and quaint. We all had a wonderful time, and we will definitely be back to Cafe Italia soon. Vegetarian options: Plenty of options Parking: Lots of open spaces even at lunch time

LOVE THIS PLACE! Amazing italian food! They re good is so good! I really love their stromboli s, pastas, and cheesecake. They taste amazing. Highly recommend their pizza I believe it s $20 for 2 pizzas if you order to go. Highly recommend getting pizza from here rather than sam and louie s next door. The pizzas at cafe italia are cheaper and taste way better!

Very good food. My wife had the pizza. It was a little thin and crunchy for my taste. I had the big seafood pasta plate very good. Grandsons had spaghetti and meat balls. I had a taste as poppy tax for cutting it for them. Very good. Daughter had Alfredo pasta. She enjoyed it. I had the chicken vegetable soup. Tasted fresh and home Made. Over all Very good.

Service and food was amazing and quick. However, the womens restroom uses urinal cakes (the smelly blue inserts) and needed a good scrubbing. I didnt last but a few minutes without literally losing my dinner. The smell was so overwhelming I dont see myself ever returning unless I ordered to go. Hopefully management sees this and adopts a better cleaning strategy thats not just deorderizing. Parking: Ample parking

The food was wonderful, in my opinion it is the best Italian restaurant in town. Vegetarian options: Saw a few vegetarian options. Parking: Plenty of parking. Kid-friendliness: Nice kids menu.
