Made me come in for a refill today 9/20/24 for my Gout medication then never sent the prescription to the pharmacy so I called three times and got no help except that I should go to Urgent Care. It s always a different physician assistant or nurse practitioner you ll never see a actual MD.So if you want to see a DR don t waste time with this joke of a practice.

Seems like there is an ongoing problem here with front office staff. Maybe the doctors need to take a look at their employees. I call and call and nobody answers. I didn t want to find another provider but I m going to because the silence is crazy. The doctors and NP are great but the front office ladies are running off the patients.

Highly recommended! Mrs. Laura and her team are just more than fantastic! I would follow her anywhere. I cannot say enough good things about her! Although all the reception ladies are wonderful, I have mostly dealt with Becky for almost 6 years and I have grown to adore her I actually enjoy going to the Dr. Office. P.S. For those complaining about the Conroe office never answering their phones, apparently, they have had phone issues for a long time and have tried to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, without success. I have only had a couple issues, I just kept trying. I guess for me this is a minor issue, js.

I went in and had blood drawn at the beginning of July and I still haven t gotten the results. I have called numerous times and asked for the results and the front desk person says she will make a note to have the doctor call me. The last time I called they said that there was a note on my file saying that they had spoken to me about the results. I informed them that I never received a call. The results aren t even in my patient portal. Very disappointed.

My standards are very high for practitioners and staff. I come from a medical background and have medical providers in my family. I appreciate NP Maeghan and Dr. J. Laningham for their honesty and willingness to listen. I d recommend this practice to anyone. In fact, I moved to this practice bc my Ophthalmologist recommended them based off of what her patients told her.

Dr. Christian was wonderful very friendly and willing to work with and help his patients. Can t say the same about the front staff unfortunately, they are very incompetent and bless your heart if you want them to complete basic tasks like faxing something. My Diabetic mother is a patient there and unfortunately her medical financial assistance was taken away but there is a program that helps diabetics who qualify to get insulin for free, however it does require the providers office to fill out and fax paperwork to the company that distributes the insulin. My mother has been without her insulin for going on 3 months because it took weeks of calling and calling over and over again to get anything done with these people. We came to this clinic in hopes that my mother could get the help she needed and because of the incompetence of the mismanaged front staff my mother has yet to receive the medicine that she needs. I truly hope something is done about this because the doctor really is a good one.

My husband is very sick. Called for lab results and was told the nurse practitioner will call you back in a few minutes. One and a half hours later, still no call. Should have never told me a few minutes. Very upset and might have to take him to the hospital to get help.

My child was a new patient and was sick and they got us on the schedule that day! Our appointment was efficient with generally no wait time. Our NP Megan was attentive and thorough with a gentle and friendly bedside manner. We left with a diagnosis and treatment plan, but the office still followed-up with a phone call. CWFM isn t the most convenient office for us but it s definitely worth the drive for the level of care.

I am unable to leave two seperate reviews so here is the 1 star because there is no half star or negative star for FRONT OFFICE STAFF. I would definitely leave a five-star for Shannelle Fuller and Dr. Simi Koshy ONLY. They provide exceptional service and care. Ive been seeing Dr Koshy from long before she joined Conroe Willis Family Medicine. I hate that she doesnt have front office support she deserves to help her continue to thrive. However, Shanelle is expeditious in her responses and in obtaining anything I reach out to her for. I do my best not to contact them directly as I know front office staffs SOLE PURPOSE is to schedule appts and answer calls/take messages. Nonetheless, front office staff are USELESS in time sensitive situations. The front office staff does not answer NINE OUT OF TEN TIMES. They fail to properly verify your insurance information to know what you SHOULD ACTUALLY BE BILLED. Never fails, I always have a balance. No matter what I pay when I am there. They take messages that rarely make it to nurses and Drs in a timely manner. I have asked for the manager and during covid, their excuse was they were switching systems. Now its they are too busy to take on mutliple calls. Very unfortunate. My entire family is seen by Dr. Koshy. My children, husband, siblings and parents that drive from the Katy area for her care deserve better. I even have an aunt and the people my family have referred come from Pasadena and South Houston. Dr. Koshy is the ONLY REASON we have put up with the front office. Thank God for Shanelle being a total BAD@$$ in responding to her emails.

My daughter and I use the same medical facility but have night and day experiences. For her, when we make an appointment they dont call to confirm and then when we show up they say theyre at a different time than what they scheduled you for. Sometimes theyll call and theyll say, Sorry, we overbooked! and then cancel the appointment or schedule her two months in advance. Other times theyll just say theres nothing available when we are available. She spent an entire year without her medicine because they kept rescheduling appointments. Needless to say we are switching to someone who cares about their patients, and doesnt treat them like a number.

If it was possible to give a negative review I would have. Am having severe pain under my rib cage and around my shoulder blades. Went to see my doctor last week. She was on vacation so I saw the nurse practitioner named Megan. It has now been over a week and all she did was an ultrasound that was supposed to take 2-3 hours to get the results. I got the results 3 days and 5 phone calls later. Only to be told they did not ultrasound my gallbladder. I told her they did and I guess she finally found the pictures. She then said I needed a CT scan. It has been over a week and still in lots of pain and no word. I call every day but do not get any word back. I am thinking I will need to change doctors to get any help. My doctor says she cannot help since I saw Megan. What was I supposed to do Dr. Koshy was on vacation? I hate to change doctors because I really liked Dr. Koshy.

Seems to be a repeated theme with the reviews. I, too, had a similar and very negative experience with this facility. Dr. Christian was very helpful and insightful with my wellness visit. The staff and front office, unfortunately, is very difficult to get a hold of. Ive been calling for weeks to be set up with physical therapy and to receive my blood work. Constantly calling week after week and no return phonecalls. Its been weeks since and now they tell me that I have to do another blood panel and schedule another visit. Then, when asking about my PT appointment, it had never been scheduled, as promised, and didnt have any record of me requesting the appointment. I had to go out and had to find another PT facility on my own. I also got an unexpected bill when I was told that wellness checkups are free. Dont come here. Youll waste your time and your money.

I love our doctor at this practice but the billing is about to push me over the edge. Every time we come here, we are charged up front for the visit. And every time I receive the EOB, it says our patient responsibility is less than we were charged at check-in. And every time I call the office to have a refund processed back to my credit card, I m told it s too late for them to do that and they have to mail me a check. And every time, the check doesn t show up and I have to call several times over several weeks to follow up on the refund. And every time, the check request was languishing on someone s desk. Twice I ve been told the person who was supposed to cut the check has family issues keeping them from working and apparently no one else is covering their duties while they re out? Refunding patients who have been overcharged is pretty important. I guess I m going to have to go there in person, AGAIN, to collect my refund. Ridiculous.

As you See from other reviews this practice may not be one you want to choose. Some girls in the office are friendly but others can be rude. The office is very mismanaged and almost impossible to get the billing straight. My experience was with nurse practitioner and visit seemed rushed. Several times I spoke to six different people in the office said this was a wellness visit but instead was billed almost $200. After already not being that happy with this office decided to find a new practitioner. It is a very difficult task to find good healthcare anymore

I just have to brag on Rhonda, this past Friday I had an appointment, and I had some important medication that was supposed to be called in after my 9am appointment. Well it never was, even and after I emailed over three times to make sure no one forgot about me. That s the only reason I done give more stars in this review. Anyway Rhonda called me after they closed and made sure to contact my dr to ask her to call met medicine in. This office will not let you see a doctor if you are congested, only tele med phone visit.. Tested for covid, still no entrance to see a doctor even with a negative result. Suggested I see someone at the Conroe facility, same thing. Wound up going to urgent care at a cost of 35.00 and I was diagnosed with a light case of pneumonia and a kidney infection . Suffered for a week all the while trying to see my primary doctor. The bad thing is that no one in the office wears a mask nor are patients asked to wear one. Makes no sense. Now have a new primary doctor.

I really loved the dr I was seeing at this practice, which was definitely not one of the laningham brothers. There are no kind words to say about them unfortunately. My husband and I both go (went?) here due to convenience. We overlooked everything for this reason. Not anymore. 1. They never answer the phone 2. Office staff is rude 3. They do not value our time. We make appiontments over the phone, go in, and they DO NOT have an appiontment for us. This has happened 7 times between us. We have to take off of work to see the doctor. 4. I was told I could show up to complete labs without an appiontment to see the doctor because it was just a redraw a month after the last labs. Then, upon going to the lab, had staff come out and tell me I needed to see the doctor- meaning what could have been 1 trip and less missed worked is now 2. 5. And most recently, calling for a same day appiontment for a refill only to be told, with an attitude, that we signed an agreement in January for no same day/next day appiontments for refills. Jennifer could have just stopped at, Im sorry, we are booked. Like I said, rude. There is no recollection of signing this disclosure, but what is even more concerning is that they constantly dont value my time, which seems to be okay with them, but when life gets ahead of you because you have jobs and a family and forget to schedule an appiontment, their response is not just a simple, I am sorry, we cant see you today. I was not expecting a same day appiontment, but thought I could give it a try. 6. They are only in it for the money. They do not care about their patients or helping the community.

This office has a few issues they need to address. 1. There have been many times the phones do not get answered. They either don t have a working line or the call is disconnected. Many calls were made - no answer and the call goes dead. 2. After a dozen calls, only to get a call back, to pay a $10 bill and to get a mammogram prescription/referral in the area where I just recently moved, they were actually irritated when I told them the phone wasn t working the day prior. 3. I asked the medical staff a couple of times for an optomologist - not an optometrist and was given optometrist only to find out after I arrived at the center they referred me to and the receptionist said mam we don t have an optomologist here. Had to go back and ask again after I already asked twice. 4. Received a call from my Dr s nurse (I actually like the Dr I selected over many other Drs in Conroe) with inadequate and incomplete information about mammogram results. When I asked her if the radiologist compared my mammogram with past mammograms she was bewildered with why I would ask such a thing. I told her she needs to go back and compare my history before making recommendations for extensive procedure for my breasts - when they have never seen my past mammograms. She then went on to say I was rude and further discussions with the staff resulted in the staff telling me to go get another Dr. They hung up the phone on me twice. I never had a conversation with the Dr, although the staff says the Dr. overheard my discussion about my breast and I should go elsewhere. Instead of just moving on with the results, with which I was correct about, I had to make several trips to multiple centers only to find out, once the results were finally compared to my past results, I needed no further procedure. I was correct and they didnt apologize. The Dr. never called. I was told to go elsewhere. The staff decided they would decide if I would ever see my Dr. again, who I actually praised to the staff over. You make your own decisions if you want to use this office in Conroe. I personally like Dr. Koshy, whom I selected over many other Drs in Conroe, however, this staff, who runs off business for their Drs, is not worth supporting with my $$$. Dr. Laningham I wish your business the best.

I have been going to Mrs. Carol for 3yrs know and never once have had a issue. She has helped me from when I was sick to getting my health in track. Ive always arrived 20mins early and yea had to wait like 10 or 15 mins but they are a busy place so I dont mind waiting. Ive never meet a Dr office that was so caring and nice always greets me when I walk in. Carol always listen to what I have to say and then we talk it out to figure out different suggestions we can try. I will always go here and recommend people to go to Carol. My mom likes going to her to . So please try them out yea u might have to wait a lil bit but its worth it cause they are busy they always make me feel at home and laugh and joke around. Its a great place.

Dr was ruining late therefore couldn t see me because I arrived 10 minutes late. How is that my problem?! They have a 15 minute late policy so they should honor that! Tired of dealing with rude people that only waste my time. Changed my pcp.

Made an appointment, gave them the proper information including type of insurance only to discover that they dont accept the insurance provided. When we got there they quoted us almost $200 for the visit. They wasted our time due to their incompetence. Will do everything I can to avoid this place in the future.

I was there for an appointment this morning and ended up walking out. People were going to the desk to check in wearing their masks under their noses, then they would take them off while sitting in the waiting room. The receptionists said nothing to them. In fact one of the receptionists didnt put her mask on until halfway through her conversation with a man that wasnt wearing one correctly. Perhaps there is no mask mandate in Montgomery County, but doctors offices should require them.

Went in to new Willis office Thursday Week before Christmas for 2nd appt was one of the first visits that day. Waited 45 min in room before Dr even came in Dr said need to get x rays and see Surgeon said nurse will set up appt she said will try her best to set something up by end of day. I called at end of day and she said she hasn t scheduled anything yet. I got call Tuesday to say they got X-rays And need to see surgeon. I asked if they got me an appt and was told she will call you. As of 1/15/2021 still have NOT heard from ANYONE FROM THAT OFFICE. BUT I GOT A BILL .

I recently went to the Conroe-Willis clinic and was greeted with a friendly smile from the receptionist, Dee and the nurse for Dr.Koshy was very kind and helpful. Dr. Koshy was immediately getting me help with all my needs. The office staff was very friendly and got all the appointments with specialist for me. It was a great experience for someone new in town. Love the Conroe office staff. Dee always greets us with a smile and kind word. Amber is always thorough in her assessment and notices things I may have forgotten, like it being refill time and Dr Koshy is great. She has the best personality, answers all questions without making you feel like you are wasting her time. I have recommended this offkce to all my friends

I have always had a great experience here. Unfortunately there is often miscommunications between them and my pharmacy though. I typically can call and resolve this but Erica that works there was unwilling to help with this today. She is by far the rudest employee there and gave me a different opinion of the office.

Wanted to venture out and change PCP providers. I chose this providers office because the reviews were great! I was instantly impressed. I entered the office around 1:33 PM , apt at 1:45 PM (new patient) I already had the paperwork filled out all I had to do was sign them. I m still sitting here waiting to be called back- I ve checked with the front desk 3 times now - wondering if their running behind. I was informed they weren t running behind and that it shouldn t be too much longer. It s now 2:19 PM. I don t mind waiting but when it s 40 mins past my apt time and I m still waiting , it s irritating. Especially on the first visit. Smh . Update: Sitting in the room now - 2.37 PM. No apology for pulling me back late. Back to waiting .

Amazingly warm and friendly staff. I ve never felt so comfortable at at doctors office. Everyone from the ladies at the front desk to the nurse practitioners and doctors are all so kind. I have been seeing Dr Jeremy for about 10 years and have been seeing Gwen Dubose for the entire time she has worked here. At first I would see her only when Dr Laningham was not available but now I see her much more than I see him. She is very competent, approachable, and has always had the answers I need for my healthcare concerns. Gwen is a top notch PA and I heartily recommend her for all your healthcare needs!
