I am afraid of heights..I have walked across the bridge now 4 times..its a bit scary you can feel it shake and feel it move side to side but its a beautiful site when u hit middle of the bridge

i love the bridge! when i would go across it, i would LOVE the leds! specifically at night. bridge was really tall and scared me for a bit! love this bridge!

went there as i was curious how long it would take me to walk the bridge and how difficult. it is easy. you can wear flip-flops to walk this bridge. from entrance to the highest point takes no more than 10 minutes. the perspective from a high point looking down is awesome. everyone should do it at least one just for the experience. i do NOT recommend doing it during peak traffic hours because the smell from the exhaust isnt pleasant.

Visited corpus christi 2 Years ago when we had to cross the Harbor Bridge. It is a through-arch bridge. The bridge was adorned with a LED lighting system. Sadly, the lights were removed due to corrosion on the brackets of the bridge. The last night the Corpus Christi Harbor Bridge lights were lit was June 13, 2021. We were lucky to witness the stunning illumination on the bridge. The lighting created a magical nighttime ambiance with its reflections on the river. A captivating experience worth cherishing!

Harbor bridge 5 years ago. Everything has probably changed since then. There was construction going on when I left corpus, a new, bigger, bridge was being built. But this was definitely my favorite part about Austin/Portland. I loved the beautiful view of the ocean during my morning commute.

The bridge used to have colorful lights that had been donated, and the city just had to maintain them. It was really pretty to see at night. They would change them to match different holidays or for other special events. They took them down this year (2021). There s a narrow pedestrian walkway on either side of the bridge. However, it s a bit sketchy to access the pedestrian walkway. You have to walk on the shoulder alongside cars entering or exiting for a brief moment.

We always visit under the Harbor Bridge on the Corpus side when we vacation in Corpus. Its tradition. Theres always something to see. It could be a large barge passing by or jelly fish. You never know.

Visit the art museum by the bridge and it is a great place to see the aircraft carrier across the bay. We came back at night to see the bride lite up. The area will be changing due to a new bridge and widening of the harbor.

This is a great bridge. Be careful and keep in mind that there are frequent exit closures, so take the first exit that you can. At its peak the bridge is 275 from the water.
