I just love the fact that Dr Hallbauer is not ashamed of the gospel if Christ. It is such a joy to go to a public place where there is Christian music and no vulgarity. Makes my day. And the display of Bible scripture. Sometimes they are the one/s you need right that minute. God bless him and his staff; they are angels in disguise. Ive never had a bad experience there. And Im so thankful my insurance is on his roster.

He has been a God send for me. If not for his help and listening to what I was telling him about my issues. Id probably not still be alive. They helped me find a cardiovascular doctor. That was on my insurance. I saw many doctors in last 8 years and nobody was concerned enough to find out what was wrong. They put in Stent in a artery that was 95% plugged in 2 spots. Ive attended Family Medicine Associates of Conroe for several years, first in their weight loss program and in the last few years as a patient. The office and medical staff have always been very competent. But, recently the office personnel have become even more pleasant and helpful than ever before - lots of smiles and encouraging words. Dr. Hallbauer is incredibly caring and very good at explaining complex details. For my over 70 crowd he even takes the time to write things down. The professionalism and people skills displayed by everyone here is exceptional and hard to find at any other health-care facility. ***** I ve been here 4 times in the last year. When sharing that they did not properly set up my appointment when coming for my first visit she put me on hold to speak to office manager for over 10 mins. While on hold I checked theses ratings on Google and I am not at all shocked that I am not the only one who feels this way. No one seeking care should have to speak to rude staff to accomplish a goal in getting treatment. Absolutely ridiculous!!!! The office manager was apologetic but its hard to take them seriously when there are reviews on here over the last 6 months ago and still nothing has obviously changed. Now I have to find a whole new doctor.

Dr. Ebel not only treats you but teaches you! He helped me understand what each exercise does to reduce my pain. I no longer have to rely on medications. I take one dose in a day versus three times a day. He made me feel at ease, asked questions to adapt treatment to me, and taught me exercises I could do anywhere to relieve my pain. If you have pain, go see him! Youll be glad you did!

I was a patient of Katies for years and, the last time I saw her, it was a complete nightmare. My pain specialist had some legal issues going on and, couldnt write prescriptions or perform surgeries. Katie told me to make an appointment to come in and see her, she said she would be more than willing to help me. She told me she was going to take over my pain management. She knows all the surgeries and procedures I have had done on my spine. So, I was relieved when she told me, Ill prescribe pain meds but, youll have to give a urine sample monthly. I was in full agreement, and was willing yo be tested monthly. I had just had a botched surgery that, left me immobile and in SEVERE pain. Time of my appointment and, Katy came in and said sorry, Im not going to fill your pain meds. She then still insisted I go see my pain specialist and walked out even fully knowing i couldnt go to him. She chose to notify me of this AFTER I had paid my bill. Ironically after that I NEVER seen her again.....they kept passing me along. *The final straw* Was when I went to see Brittany because, I had issues with a kidney stone. I need antibiotics to fight a kidney infection and, I was wanting to make sure it wasnt something far more serious because, something felt very wrong. She then scolded me, telling me there was no way I had a stone based on their lab work. 5 excruciating days later and....guess what... BAM! I passed the kidney stone! No thanks to her. Update.... We are now seeing Leslie Giles at Conroe Willis Family Medicine. She has been busy correcting their multiple mistakes. I am so glad weve switched!, Im healthier and happier.

I went in for a followup and the so-called account manager came out and told me the biggest lie I can imagine. They had to send off for my xrays. Which was a lie. Its done through online portal. August 2022 Edit: The inside office staff are extremely unkind. They were getting upset with my family when they asked questions about paperwork and seemed to be looking for a reason to get mad at people. Now I do have to say that the PA Katie was absolutely excellent and was so kind and apologized to us about the office staff. Original Review: Car visits are very poor quality. The PA that saw me, Chad, didnt bring anything with him, such as a stethoscope, to check what kind of respiratory problem I was having. He didnt seem to care very much and just wanted to get the appointment over with.

Good luck getting an appointment. They rarely answer the phone. When u call u go into a wait group for at least 10 minutes. A few times 12-15 and I just hung up. Must have a credit card for deposit. You have to give an email address and then wait for a few days for them to send you a form and then a couple of more days to even get a response. I guess they have plenty of patients because they do everything they can to discourage you from seeing a doctor. I think this is just a Pill Mill.

After today 7/19/2022, I will now take my business and care to another Family Doctor office. The so call Coordinator/Manager named Roxanne was very unpleasant and unprofessional with me over the phone and also hung the phone up in my face without solving the issues that Family Medicine Associates created. Roxanne wouldnt even let me speak, and instead spoke over me! The situation basically was that I lost/wasted money on services that was not rendered at the time of my appointments. When I pointed that out, Roxanne got upset and advised that I basically had to get inconvenienced, set up a different appointment, and pay another fee for what I was already seen for! After she insisted that i make another appointment and pay another fee for what I already paid for, I advised her that Im a Law Enforcement Officer and that my schedule at my demanding field at work does not permit me to keep taking off just to not get what i scheduled for in the first place! She did not care! I will not recommend this Doctors office to anyone I truly care about. If you are reading this review please take my advice and dont waste your money on a doctors office who cares only about receiving your money and not serving you as expected! I will add that I am please with all the PAs and Dr. Hallbauer services. My whole family are currently being seen by this office. Unfortunately based on Roxannes disregard and disrespect my family of 5 will find a more respectful family doctors office. My review is solely for the unprovoked inhumane treatment I recieved from the Doctor office Manager Roxanne on issues stemming from the office staff wrongdoing! Super unprofessional, plasters that they are Christian s & that they treat employees/patients like family which is the complete opposite. Doctor has NO grace or compassion for others especially those who work for him. As a Christian doctor, he should show grace & kindness which is not shown at all in his office. Favoritism is often show. Highly suggest not going here to be seen, unless you want to be treated poorly. Front desk girls are amazing but extremely overworked. They are not the issue it s whose in charge that needs a wake up call & to be reminded to practice what they preach!

Ever since the front office staff had changed about a year ago, this place has gone downhill. They NEVER EVER answer the phone, when they do - they are extremely rude, they forget to do everything and seemingly know nothing. Don t even try making an appointment online because they will not see it. I just got a declined email for an appointment that I asked for a MONTH AGO because they will NOT answer their phone. I will not be coming here anymore only due to the FRONT DESK STAFF. The doctors are wonderful here but the people in front are ruining this business. Thanks.

Rating 5 stars solely because Katie Thurman PA-C is great to see, she genuinely really cares and takes time to hear you and discuss options. I have never ever had a problem with Katie, nor has my mom, and we have been seeing her for years. !! - However, the office itself I would rate 1, maybe 2 stars. - !! Not sure if they were just understaffed or just in chaos since they had just completely replaced their front staff a week prior(dumb decision in my POV, the previous staff were excellent), but the last time I was in and a different time when my mom was in, it was extremely chaotic and unorganized, there were delays and general confusion kind of everywhere. Since the staff change causing chaos was understandable, I didnt review at the time. Now however - this is like 3 months later - I cant get them on the phone to schedule an appointment, and I put in an online request. Admittedly its been less than 24hrs, but the other reviews of lack of prompt communication and lack of answering the phone has me concerned. I dont know if Katie is located anywhere other than this office, but if she is I am more than likely going to switch there.

I went to this Airrosti clinic to see if I could resolve some neck pain. I was having a hard time even looking left and right before turning in my car Dr Phelps and Lauren got feeling good again with office and at home therapy. Went 4 yrs with misdiagnosis. When Dr. Hallbauer was out of town, one of his PA s brought me close to death. He does not attend to patients that really need to see him. May take several months to get in for a visit and then he tells you he will only answer three questions. He makes patients come in for every refill thus increasing his patient load - and then starts lecturing, teaching and starting back to school himself, further reducing time available for current patients. He leaves patients such as myself hanging without knowing what is going on. Voicemail is always full, no one actively answering at office, and no return calls. Dr. Hallbauer needs to choose either his new academic career or patient care and stop endangering patients that had trust in him with their wellbeing and care. Update 12/15/21: Attaching photos of the very inappropriate response to this review that Dr. Hallbauer sent directly to my personal cell number. If I thought this office was unprofessional before, it s all the more verified now. Feels very invasive.

TLDR Version: If you choose this practice proceed with caution because details often fall through the cracks resulting in big inconveniences for the patient. Its fine for a one-off visit, but frustrating if you need regular maintenance prescriptions. Full Review: This practice has had some recent staff turnover, and while I appreciate their efforts in trying to become more organized, I find myself frustrated getting lab results or just trying to book a simple appointment for a prescription refill. The latest guffaw is prompting me to seek out a new primary care physician. I called the office on a Tuesday, and left a message to schedule the required refill appointment. I went ahead and put in an appointment request online as well. I gave the office 24 hours to respond, and they did not. Wednesday I called and was able to speak with someone to book the appointment for Friday, 12/24. I let the person on the phone know in advance I was going to run out of one of my medications, and was a bit concerned about getting the refill in time before the holiday. I was assured it would be called in immediately following my appointment. Okay, no problem. On the day of the appointment, I was once again assured by the nurse and the fill-in doctor that the prescription would be called in. Well, it wasnt, so I ran out. I called first thing Monday and was told someone would call me back and that they didnt know how that happened. Well, I know how it happened. Someone didnt do their job. Two hours later and my patience wearing thin, there was still no call, so I paid the office a visit. By this point, I was frustrated that a refill is so complicated. I was asked by the office staff if it was a controlled substance I was needing. No, if it was, Id be more understanding, but I also couldnt help but feel there was an implication that I was some kind of addict. I was told it might be the end of the day before they could call it in which I didnt feel was an adequate solution given the fact they were in error. Thankfully, the refills got called in, but it shouldnt be this difficult to get a simple refill. That said, I really like Katie Thurman (Ive never actually seen the doctor on staff), and if you choose this practice, just know you have to be even more proactive than average with your medications, appointments, and follow up. There were times I had bloodwork done, and didnt get a call back for weeks, but found it on LabCorps website posted within 2 days.

The front staff is rude and very unprofessional. My appointment was for 8:30a.m I arrived about 08:40 a.m. I was told the computer was down. She ask me my name and appointment time. I told her 08:30 she then stated I don t think your appointment was at 08:30 because I don t see your paperwork. The lady at the front desk was very rude. She said I m going to reschedule you when the computer are back on. She told me I was to late for my appointment and I needed to leave. When I went to family medicine web site I saw the no show by my name.

After experiencing hip and leg pain, I received treatment from Dr. Levick and Johann Kurfurst (exercise therapy). I am amazed at how quickly the pain has been resolved, and I am moving so much better. I had three office visits and continue to do exercises at home to strengthen and keep flexibility. Worst dr office ever!!!!! I went in today at 9:30 as a new patient for a 10 9o clock appt. spoke with brandy first, she then transferred me to a lady named Georgia to try and give my insurance info to. Long story short I show up bc I never got a call back and I know being new paperwork takes time. Then she says well you aren t down for an appointment but the slot is still open so we will take you. I m like okay whatever. Then here we are 5 hours after my appointment has ended I ve had to call multiple times because they have yet to send in my prescription!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would!! Had some shoulder pain which limited the range of motion in my arm. I was convinced that healing/fixing it would take months like at most places! I went in for THREE sessions and the pain is gone! I was educated on how to stretch and massage the muscle for future maintenentance. I learned a lot and one week later ( 3 visits total) Im good again!! I am so impressed with the Arrosti teams expertise and professionalism! Totally worth it!

Dr. Levick and Yohan are extremely knowledgeable and professional. After 3 sessions my bicep and lower back are feeling great. Even though my lower back was hurting, Dr Levick found my root problems and addressed them. Yohan does a great job at explaining how to do the at home care to help your body heal itself. I was referred to Dr. Levick by a friend. I had a lot of fear that my pain was the result of a major muscle tear and as a life long athlete that was a huge deal for me. I was able to get an appointment the very next day and I was amazed from the very start. Dr. Levick listened to what I had to say, asked me lots of questions, and I always felt like his only goal was to help me get better rather than just treating every patient the same. My pain started to subside after the very first visit. They even call to check up on your progress. I would highly recommend Dr. Levick and the Airrosti program. I am back to training and lifting weights after just 3 visits. Skip the across the board chiropractors and go see Dr. Levick. Even if you have to drive, it is worth it!

Been with Hallbauer for years. Got switched to Sarah at some point, and shes been pleasant to see. Always been willing to work with me. It really is the office that is lacking. Like others, they have a hard time with insurance. I pay no copay for my visits, yet every time I am required to remind them. Their online appointment thing is a joke. Have tried twice within the week and get no responses outside of an automated message. And the fact that you are *required* to make an appointment for med refills, even basic ones, is laughable. If they fixed their clerical mishaps and do phone refills for non-controlled substances, it would be great.

Our family has used Dr. Levick & Johann at the Conroe Airrosti on 3 separate occasions now...once for elbow/forearm (Son-Oct 2019), once for shoulder/neck (Wife-Feb 2021), once for hip (Son-Mar 2021), and let me just say they are some of the most KNOWLEDGEABLE, thoughtful, and caring individuals weve come across! They KNOW their stuff, I feel like I should come prepared to take notes. Theyre very communicative and visual with their approaches to your care and recovery. Like the website says its an average of 3 visits to pain free status, and they remain as a constant source of intel even after youre discharged in order to elongate and maintain a healthy recovery. If youre in doubt, or have odd, weird chronic or newfound pain, go see Taylor & Johann, you will not be disappointed and your body will thank you!

Oh my where to start. Have not seen the doctor in years, only his staff clinicians. Staff at front desk can be impatient especially to elder patients, tough to watch. Then there is the cost, my goodness, and to have to pay yet another visit over $100 (after insurance) just to have his office clinician go over my blood panels was the last straw, never going back. And this office never gets the billing right, they charge me over $100 (above insurance) for any office visit and still send me a bill for more after the visit, they can never get the billing right even tho they have my insurance on file. And, if the mailed bill for the extra $35 is not paid right away they tack on a $30 late fee, dont wait for your mailed bill, go in a week after your visit and pay the balance because they will want that second payment. And I luv how they never mentioned that yet another bill would be coming from their inhouse blood draw lab. Switchin to another doctor asap.

Amazing benefits with this amazing skilled provider. Ive been here for multiple sprains and strains from jogging injuries as well as for other soreness. Dr. Levick always is attentive and knows how to treat me and is results are quick and without the use of extensive testing. Ive sent family here too and they have gotten similar results.

Ive had similar experiences as other reviews listed here. PAs are great. Office staff not so much. I cant count the times office staff made an appointment for me, only to show up at the designated time/date to learn I wasnt on the calendar for that day. When the Dr. is out of the office, there is NO ONE in the office that can help refill medications. This can be extremely frustrating!!! Its hard to believe there isnt a plan in place to correct this OBVIOUS shortcoming, other than trying to get a hold of him (when on vacation). Friendly medical staff, but I will be forced to find a new provider.

Great consultation and coaching! I ve had issues from my back when I was a college athlete and moving into a career where I sit down for hours on hours everyday my back muscle have lost its mobility. It took a week just for them to call in a prescription to my pharmacy after my drug was recalled. The office staff marked my message as urgent, but it was not urgent to them at all. I m switching doctors as soon as I can finally get my lab results from them. It s been two days since I asked for that and still nothing. However, Sarah Heringer is the best PA I have ever had. I hope she leaves their office soon so I could see her without having to deal with the rest of them. Not impressed with Matt the PA at all. He kept trying to upsell me.

I have seen Dr. Levick for several issues and both times the pain and aches were treated and Johann provided additional home exercises to help treat and heal my issues. It s comforting to know an alternative treatment is available than pain medication and heating pad. I would recommend seeing Dr. Levick to discuss any pain or health condition that impacts your quality of life to see if he can help you. The Airrosti program is amazing and effective. My wife s migraine and shoulder pain was treated at an Airrosti office and hasnt needed to visit her physician about either issue since her last visit a year ago.

Had a fall that left my back muscles in knots. The Dr did an excellent job relieving my pain I came in barely being able to move much less breath but after 4 visits I was almost completely 100% healed. Would recommend Dr Levick to anyone.

If you are having pain and have never tired this do it! Yes, you have to do the exercises or you won t feel better. Dr. Levick seems to have a true passion for what he does and cares about his patients. You will be surprised to get a text from him asking how you are doing after your visits. When I have gone I only needed 3 visits. No, the pain is not 100% gone but much much much better and you will still have to keep up with the exercises. To me that s better than multiple visits to the chiropractor or taking prescription medication. Dr Levick is highly recommend to anyone having back, shoulder, hip pain and more.

This is the first injury I had where I needed to seek treatment and I m glad I did. When I arrived to my first appointment I could barely walk and had trouble even lying down. I didn t realize how much more range of motion I got from Dr. Levick until I got home. After my second appointment just a few days later I am already about 85% better and didn t have to cancel my golfing trip. Dr. Levick and Johan are amazing and I highly recommend this place.

When I came to my first appointment I was skeptical about recovering from my knee injury without surgery. Dr Levick worked on my muscles and prescribed progressive exercises that have helped me reduce pain and improve function. I m continuing to work towards 100% recovery and full function for strenuous activity, but I never considered that I could experience this much improvement without surgical intervention. Five stars and two thumbs up for Dr. Levick. Highly recommended!

I recently started having pain in the side of my right hip, and it grew worse each day. Finally, I was unable to do my daily 2 mile walk without excruciating pain. Thats when I remembered Dr. Taylor Levick, who had helped me with shoulder pain a few years ago. As expected, he was able to solve my problem after only two visits. This guy is very knowledgeable and has magic hands. Neither the treatment or the exercises are pleasant, but they are very effective! Thanks Dr. Levick!
