I came to Chuchos for a friends birthday and had a mixed experience. The taco I ordered was fantastic great flavor and size. However, the street corn was quite hard, and after a few small bites, I had to send it back because it was just too tough to eat. The staff initially told me I wouldnt be charged for it. When my bill came, the corn was not on there. I gave them my card to pay for it and when I was going to sign and include the tip, the corn was on there. I brought it up with the waitress, and she apologized and said she would get it fixed, but it took an hour and a half with no resolution by the time I had to leave. While I appreciated the apologies, it was frustrating that the charge couldnt be corrected immediately. I ve never had an issue like this before. Most places do quick refunds to the card, give you a receipt where the charge shows it was voided. The money may take a bit to reflect back in bank account but you dont have to wait around indefinitely. This experience left me feeling disappointed. After almost 2 hours, I just signed the receipt and left. I dont know if this an isolated incident or if the staff thought I wouldnt check and added the corn back on thinking I wouldnt check after reviewing that first receipt. If you dine here, just double-check your bill before paying and before signing. Im saddened, as I usually enjoy this place and dont know if Ill be back anytime soon.

I wasn t impressed at all. The food was okay at best. My boneless wings were greasy. They were supposed to be lemon pepper wings. I guess they forgot the lemon pepper. And my wife s hamburger was substandard. Like something from Tales from The Crypt. And the service was terrible. Our waiter (poor guy) couldn t have been trained, plus he couldn t get the orders right for nothing. He seemed overwhelmed. Then talking to the manager was the icing off the cake. Yes, off not on. Explaining to her how bad the food and service was, she responded with- Don t tip the waiter. What a slap in his face. She threw him to the wolves without thinking twice. I would despise working under her. I m being nice in give 2 stars. Oh, and 2 plates will run you at minimum $45 to $50. No thank you! Graduation celebration. I would really think twice. I m think twice now. We want return. Have a great night. And yes, the grease is on the other side of the fork. Take my word for it or find out the hard way.

Theres no street sign so we accidentally drove right past. The service was great. Staff was attentive but not overbearing. The atmosphere was pretty dark, but we were there at 7 pm. They had music videos playing Spanish music which made it feel more authentic. The food was disappointing. There were 4 of us ordering tacos, and they were either over dry or soggy and absolutely NO flavor. Even adding the salsa didnt satisfy. I finally dumped my pork in my charro beans ( which was the best thing there) and that helped. 1 ordered a hamburger which was good and 1 ordered the Taco Pirata which was ok. Unfortunately, we wont be back.

The food and atmosphere are okay but not kid friendly! When they see a family arrive they tell them that the tables are occupied and it is not true, obviously they prefer that adults arrive and give them the table because they consume alcohol and families with children do not and that is their main business, or instead of giving you a table where They are singing, they send you to an area behind everything where there is no atmosphere, you are isolated, how ugly and what a bad experience, we went twice and it was the same, when you go with children they dont want to give you a table and you can see it in their faces. ! The food is good and the drinks too but its terrible that they put that plan in place. They are not friendly to families with children!

Had the chile rellenos tacos, they were good but be warned they were spicy. Their salsas were really good, homemade and also spicy. Their shrimp tacos, and Don Chucho tacos were also great. For drink we had the mora mojito, strawberry, and Tamarindo loca and all were tasty. The service was top tier. I recommend this place for the grito celebration on September 15th. The celebration is called Noche Mexicana, there was karaoke, mariachi, and contest. You can get details in their fb page. You have to reserve ahead of time and get there early because it gets pretty busy.

Made a reservation based on the Exposure this restaurant has been getting for my husbands birthday. The atmosphere is pretty amazing, music and decor is great. Service was pretty poor waitress was not so attentive. We order two mix platters, however meat had no flavor. Felt the platter was over priced for the quality of the food. Sadly to say we only one platter. Was thinking that there would be more of a show for birthday celebration. For families with kids there are no refills on drinks, however there was a good selection of choice of kids meals.

There are two sections... on the left the bar and the family section to your right.Late night is based on resorts to night events more for birthdays set up. Dont expect to be a couple room to sit down and enjoy the evening. Better off showing up at 6pm dine inn. Parking: Its very small and you have to park right next door to the gas station. Hopefully the owner would not call a tow truck. Wheelchair accessibility: Theres handicap parking but when it gets full people take advantage of parking on the handicap.

It s cute a very nice place. Service was great it was just one gentleman attending all tables. Which is understandable it was a little after lunchtime. Good however was not to put liking. I ordered the ribeye thinking it was going to be pretty big and thick. It was flat and really dry even tho I had asked for it medium well. It was extremely dry & had no flavor. The wings were ok. Quesadillas lacked flavor. The ribs were really good. Asparagus was great! The taco was ok had way to much cheese. The elote asado was really good!

Response: You got my comment twisted. I didnt say your measurements are off, Im saying youre using cheap meat like pork as a filler when I asked for beef. Also work on training your waitresses since theh concentrate on the old ladies birthday parties instead of small tables. And sneaking in charges for a to-go box? It was alright. I ordered the beef fajita plate for 4 ppl and there was pork chops on it and it was for 53.99. Just have it pure beef like the other places but I assume to give it more weight. There were large party tables and those were being more attended than the smaller ones. Also theres a charge to get to-go boxes. Whats that about?
