Pretty good spot for a poke bowl. If you have a sensitive nose I would recommend you looking somewhere else the place has a smell but if you ve been to any Asian markets the smell is oddly familiar, so it feels authentic. Food is absolutely worth it IMO and portions are topped well. Dietary restrictions: They have a list of all available toppings

The place smells so badly of sewage. I can t possibly convince myself that it s OK to eat the food. Such a bummer because it looked really good. The smell absolutely needs to be addressed before they keep serving people. I had ordered food to go, and after I left ended up throwing it away because I was so grossed out by the smell of the restaurant.

Personally I ve been coming to this place for 3 years now. Always hits every time, the Thai milk tea is absolutely perfect if you love boba. They don t skimp on portions of food you re getting alot for what ur paying for. Overall this is one of my favorite restaurants in the woodlands.

Friendly service as soon as we walked in, but couldn t ignore the smell of sewer inside as well as dirty windows and entry door. It was very off putting. We ordered customized poke bowls, decent sizes for $13 each. The taste was good, ingredients seemed fairly fresh. I noticed as they were making drinks, they were scooping ice from a small ice chest that was very dirty inside. The cleanliness really needs to be worked on. Otherwise, this can be a near 5 star place.

Worst place ever, save you re self the money or go somewhere else. It smells disgusting, couldn t even see the items. They made me fill out a paper because kids table was in the middle of the ordering place. There were kids running in and out the the kitchen playing and you could hear people in the kit he s screening. It was horrible. Save yourself.

I made my own bowl and it was delicious! Can t remember everything I put in there but it s definitely a go to. I didn t put a 5 star on the atmosphere because the store smells like a mildewed mop or a gas station bathroom. I wouldn t eat inside the restaurant but I d order to go.

Third update! Ive come many times now and I feel like family being welcomed back each time! She always remembers that I like a different sauce combination each time. And every time it is amazing. I hope people reading this, who are open to exploring flavors, will let her be her creative self and make something special and unique for you as well. I have to think that is part of why she wanted to do poke. I think its great to let the customer be creative with what they think they like but I think it is even better to let the professional be creative from their experience. Just as I cook creatively at home, I love a place that can make it unique every time I visit! --------------------------------------------Second review, read below for the first review. Ive come here a few times now and have to say this is my favorite spot for poke. The quality and freshness of the ingredients is always amazing. The uniqueness of the choices is unmatched. The customer service and graciousness of the hostess is refreshing in a world of people who dont love what they do. I can tell she loves what she does, so I always ask for one with everything and be creative with the mix of sauces. She has delivered amazing works of edible art every time! This time, as I walked in she quoted what I always ask for and she began dashing back and forth loading my bowl with all the ingredients I love (that would be all of them) and shes moving like lightning. Truly a kitchen ninja! This time I decided to try the egg rolls to share as an after school snack for the kids. Somehow she set them to cook while still making my bowl without skipping a beat! By the time the egg rolls came out, she had finished with my custom creation and quickly bagged everything up, as I did request it to-go. However, I couldnt miss the opportunity to share my exquisite order with the world, so I unpacked everything right away and had to try everything before getting back on the road. There are too many ingredients for me to describe the flavors and things that I dont even know what are but I love! So she did something special for me on this order because I ordered extra protein this time. It wasnt all going to fit in the bowl! So she put all my proteins in a separate container and mixed a special sauce combination just for them. Im blown away by the different levels of flavors going on here. It was sweet savory salty and the jalapeños mixed in it set off the flavor with a little tingly spice (she remembered I like it spicy) but that flavor complimented the rest of it perfectly. And I have to say, I wish I had tried the egg rolls sooner because they are the best Ive had, right next to one other place that I claimed was the best before this. Im now going to try something new each time I come because everything looks so good. Thank you to the lady who always does an awesome job and I hope my story will inspire others to come and experience poke on a higher level. -------------------------------------------- First review from a while back. I was in the hospital feeling pretty lousy but starving. My girlfriend brought me a teriyaki chicken bowl and some edamame. The bowl came with some miso soup and the food was so delicious I practically inhaled it! It was packed with fresh veggies, which I was desperately craving. I cant wait to come back!

I have been coming to this place for the past few years. I love it. The food is fresh. The sauces are very good. The service is awesome. I love to build my own poke and I take home a Houston burrito.... Delicious. Shame that after covid they dont have more ice cream and other special items... Hopefully passing the time they will bring it back. Now they have the dinne in open so when I have to work during the weekend I like to go there to eat, drink a Thai milk or the strawberry one with jelly. Recommended. This is One of my favorite places to eat healthy and delicious.

I absolutely love this small family run restaurant. The rice is on point and they never skimp on toppings or protein in their poke bowls. The quality of everything Ive tried is excellent. First time having Poke. Ive been a sushi lover for 20 years and never had a poke bowl. Glad I chose POKE MAN! Everything about this place was amazing! Got the the bowl with white rice , red snapper, ahi tuna, topped with carrots, edamame, pineapple, cream cheese, Wasabi sauce, poke sauce, tempura flakes, and sesame seeds. The service was great! Did not get the ladys name, but she had a smile on the whole time and helped me through my order. As I said Im familiar with sushi but theres so much more to this ordering. I want to mention that while I was there eating another woman came in and you could see the joy in the employees eyes as she greeted her. They were familiar with each other and there was a sense of camaraderie as they caught up like they hadnt seen each other in a while, but it was obvious she was a regular to the establishment. Hands down would recommend to everyone in the area! Very clean , very appealing

I had a classic bowl with salmon and tuna that was delicious. The store was empty when I arrived, and with no music playing and the tables separated for COVID precautions, it made the store feel really barren and awkward. They had a barrier separating the teller, which is a good precaution, but it looked like a hodgepodge patchwork which was unappealing. They had only a small fridge of some cans and bottles for drinks, no water. The utensils were cheap but perfectly serviceable bag of plastic utensils. Overall the storefront was incredibly unimpressive, but the food was delicious and the teller was helpful in me making my order with them. If youre looking for a cool or convenient alternative to sushi, this is definitely the place. I intend to come back for pickup to try more bowls and their sushi burritos.

Decided to try the boba milk teas based on the multitude of positive reviews. Very disappointed to say the least. I rarely post reviews of establishments, but my experience compelled me to write a review for this place to warn others. The milk teas essentially tasted like water. There was only a faint taste of the flavored milk teas I ordered. To make matters worse, the restaurant had a faint odor, presumably emanating from the seafood used in poke bowls.

AVOID my family and I stopped for dinner on a Saturday, 3 weeks ago. We ordered various items off the menu. All were either bland or overcooked. Even the white rice was undercooked. A chicken bowl with Ramen had dry overcooked chicken. Worse food Ive had in awhile. Only thing I got was a Poke Hole in my wallet for nasty food. Avoid it is bad even the egg roles were burnt ! Not bad for first try. We ordered shrimp tempura and build your poke bowl. I enjoyed the sauce and tempura was fresh and crispy. I do not like that they only have an option for a Burrito if you only want a California roll. Also, I had to pay $12.00 to basically eat 1/3 of my Burrito, due to it being literally coated with fish eggs, and containing shrimp inside which just seemed like a lot for a simple California roll. We decided to stop by and grab some lunch. Originally thought it was a ramen shop, due to one of the pictures. They did not have ramen. Its more of a build your own sushi bowl. Everything was fresh and delicious. The sushi rice was fluffy and their Poke sauce (similar to sweet soy sauce) is great. I think the portions of the protein could be a little more considering its cost, but overall a great experience.

I go here a lot. You can either get a pre-made poke-bowl, or customize your own. The bowls are good and very fresh, and are filling. I even prefer going here over most sushi places because in the end its better priced, perfect for a simple and quick sushi-styled salad bowl for lunch. I also love their teas; Matcha, Original, Jasmine, Strawberry - nothing so far has disappointed. The only critique I can give is I wish their teas came in a larger size option because I always want more!

My first time trying Poke Man, and the food was very good. The portions were huge and I ended up getting two meals out of it for less than $14. The restaurant was clean and I appreciate the precautions they ve taken to keep their customers and employees safe.

This restaurant definitely offers a unique take on the classic burrito. They have different types of sushi burritos, I am still going down the list, but so far, they taste great! They offer different flavors of rolled ice cream treats. I do agree with some reviews, that it is a little expensive, but it is worth it. If you like burritos and sushi, you need to experience this sushi burrito. - One small criticism, which I think they could do better is with cleaning the tables after customers leave. I think they havent hired someone full time to do this? not sure. The couple of times I have visited, I had to throw the trash away from past customers. Not an issue for me, I love cleaning, however some other people might frown upon that. Also the trash can always seems to get full, and they take a long time to clear it out. Im sure once they get more established and they hire a full time bus boy/girl it will get better.

I did not like my order at all. My milk tea tasted old and it was hot in the bottom. I had a sushi burrito and looks like the type of tuna they used was not fresh very mushy. The only thing I liked was my egg roll and even that was just warm.

The restaurant management put up a metal decorative piece in between the entrance door arch. As I walked in, the hanging metal piece almost pierced my eye but my eyeglasses saved me. When I informed the Asian cashier, she laughed and said next time, next time. Management, please take care of this immediately. Dont be stupid.

First time visit and got the Scottish salmon bowl and chicken teriyaki bowl. Everything was SUPER DELICIOUS. Just come here and order anything. The staff was very courteous and helpful. You wont regret visiting.

Gas station quality!!! As a Marine I have had the pleasure of having excellent fresh sushi in Japan. I love fresh sushi and this was not fresh. It is mainly stuffed with carrots and avocado. Not fresh fish. The fish we did have was old and slimy. My wife and I both only ate half and threw the rest away. I would much rather drive another 20 min to go get fresh Umaki sushi burrito then order from here again.

What a great little hidden gem here off of 242. These guys are super friendly fast and efficient. When you re wishing you were back in Hawaii you can swing by here and get your fix on. It s not on the level of Tamura s liquor store in Maui (their ahi island sunrise is the best bra ) But it s great in Montgomery Co! The bubble tea rocks also!!

Yum! Everything was fresh and delicious. I just ordered a poke bowl with red snapper, spicy tuna, edamame, mango, onion, jalapeno, cucumber, carrot, cabbage, seaweed straws, wonton crisps, cilantro and sesame seeds. They add plenty of toppings and you get 2 proteins with a regular size bowl. Highly recommend and I wish I lived closer so I could be a regular here!

This place is horable to get bobba from! I wanted to try bobba about a month ago and so after finding this place I was so excited, but the first time I went to to get bobba from poke man I didnt know I had to ask for tapioca pearls with is my fault but they should offer tapioca pearls to their customers! So now the second time i have come i asked for tapioca pearls and after a few sips they started to taste funny...mabey its just me but dont try bobba from here I havent tryed there other products so i cant say anything abiut their other food but i would not eat here!!

Whatever your reason, if youve seen this place and skipped over it youre really missing out. Its almost like a sushi inspired Chipolte. The quality of the ingredients are steller, and in addition to Sushi burritos and sushi bowls, they also have roman, bao, and icecream!
