I would give zero stars if I could. She filed paperwork and then did nothing else. She quit answering calls, emails, all communication. She also refused to send me a bill on what was left in my retainer. Don t loose your money to this scam! Edit: my maiden name is Rucker, and I was a client until she refused to send me a bill or respond to emails.

I am an attorney in the same area as Sandra and have known her for many years. She is a very competent and caring attorney, and she works to get the best results for her clients. I have referred many clients to her over the years, and since I do not mix business with family/friends, this includes family and close friends.

I contacted Sandra back in March to handle my non-contested divorce. Here it is August and my case still has made no progress. I have been emailing her and calling her for the last 2 months and she has neglected to return any of my calls or emails. Please do not pay this lady for services if you would like an attorney that will actually communicate with you and help you in what is already a hard situation. I am now a single mother with 2 children that have paid her over $1200 to handle my case and she will not even respond to me... This is very sad! It is not fair to me and my children that she takes the money to handle the case and does not even bother to finish things or even respond to clients. I do not have additional money to pay another attorney to take care of the case that she started but has neglected to finish. Please go else where and do not be a victim of Sandras incompetence.

had to come edit my review. i hired sandra for a custody case & her communication was poor from the beginning. forget answering the phone and when you email your lucky if you get a response. she attended one court hearing for me & i never heard from her again. had to spend more money with another lawyer just to clean up her mess. & that my new lawyer can t even get in contact with her! take your money elsewhere.

Is this a scam? I paid a retainer fee back in September and haven t heard from her since. She told me it would be slow through the holidays so I didn t really bother her until after the new year, but I have sent numerous emails and left several voicemails and cannot get a response at all. Absolutely ridiculous. Such a waste of time! Now I need to find a new attorney and pay a new retainer and start all over!

Sandra was very thorough, attentive, patient, and present. She held my hand through every step of my divorce. She actually listened and ensured that all of my questions were answered. I never felt like a bother or like I was being lost in the shuffle. She did her job and did it well. I hope I never have to use her services again, but if I do, I would know that I was in very capable hands. I fully recommend her to anyone who may need her.

Sandra is one of the most thorough family attorneys I have ever met. She is also extremely LGBTQ friendly. She has decades of experience with same sex couple family issues too. The hardest thing I find in the world to have is peace of mind . This is something Sandra is gifted at achieving with clients. She is highly educated and extremely knowledgeable about family law, custody orders, estate planing and other such family law related court orders. She is kind, willing to listen and calm. She has an incredible demeanor that I find to be rare among attorneys. She is gifted in the field of family law and stays focused on why she became a lawyer in the first place. She is diligent and hard working. She returns emails and phones in a timely manner and all from a place of kindness. She will be my family attorney resource for as long as she is in practice. I highly recommend her to anyone no matter what your circumstances are. Don t go without proper education representation. A good family lawyer is here for you at her practice!

I hired sandra dec. 2016... It is now april 2018. I have not once been able to have a phone call with her, and a hand full of emails. Hope i can get my money back to hire another lawyer. I would rather represent myself in court than hire this woman. NOT 1 PHONE CONVERSATION IN 17 MONTHS.

This lady scheduled a consultation with me this morning, but failed to show up. Not only that but she didnt even call me back. Im just glad I hadnt paid her a retainer. I should have read her reviews first as there is one other individual that had the same experience. Now I have taken a day off of work for nothing. Lawyers charge too much money to play games with peoples time and money. Just ridiculous, but I have prayed for a resolution therefore she wasnt it. Be aware folks!

I was very pleased with the representation I received from Sandra. She was professional and courteous, and seemed to know everything that was needed regarding my situation. I did not find Sandra Thompson to be an effective attorney. She was difficult to reach and did not return phone calls at all. I am looking for her to this day. I would not recommend Sandra at all. I am to the point of needing to hire another attorney to complete the work that she started. If I could give her zero stars I would. It took beyond two years to complete my divorce. Sandra Thompson is not aggressive and will go with the flow until pushed to move. Knowledgeable but inefficient a horrible combination.
