This place has high quality rolls!!! They are busy, menu tells you the ingredients. Once u get inside and seated they give you menu includes happy hour. A must to try is their Greentea cheesecske with berry sauce. They are close on Sunday

All the sushi I tried was 10/10. I went with some friends and I can t even tell you what all they had ordered but I was no disappointed at all with anything I tried. Service was great, no issues, kind staff. Atmosphere was also great!

Place was nice, service was good but I didnt like my meal. Fair to say though that I dont do sushi so I had teriyaki beef. Veggies and rice saved the meal for me but it was a smash piece of beef that has zero teriyaki. I wouldnt go again.

I drove from Austin to visit my child and we had dinner here. The service is very good, staff are friendly and detail, food we ordered are awesome. We got the chef s sashimi samplers, Hama Kama, salmon avocado salad and 2 rolls. Rolls are big portions, sashimi slices are very generous, thick and fresh. Salad is packed with lots of salmon, worth the price.

Place has great food. Service in person is amazing but online delivery pick up took a while for me. I arrived after getting a text that the food was ready. It wasnt. One of the best sushi places Ive been to! The drinks were good, I ordered the lychee rose and it was delicious. We got the garlic spicy edemame (great!), smokey cowboy roll, and the edoko fire roll (both good), and for dessert tempura fried ice cream and creme brulee (which was my favorite part!). Service was good, and the atmosphere was warm and classic.

First time here. Didnt try the shushi but the bulgogi bento box is severely lacking in portion size. Probably 3 slices of meat chopped up (25%) and the rest were just vegetables. Miso soup did not have seaweed or tofu at all. Salad was okay. Compared to hana, the prices here are more expensive and you get less for it while hana is slightly better. Just come here for the shushi then i guess.

Best sushi Ive ever had but Ive only ate it from like 3 places****update today is 2-5-24 I went in here and attempted to place my usual from the rudest front desk person ever. I was on the phone with my mom and she heard this woman have an attitude with my bc I called the spicy mayo yum yum sauce! She was rolling her neck and everything. After I asked her to just place my order she replied I can just place my order and never come back here again**** if this is how you treat African Americans during black history month I ll never give this business another dollar! Excellent. Had been here only once before. Excellent then as well. My wife and I ate the whole bowl of garlic butter edamame... Couldnt stop. Then demolished the plate of tempura. Both of our steak based main courses were perfectly prepared and portioned. Kind of odd they came with mashed potatoes instead of something like rice, but none the less delicious. It wasnt very crowded and service was great. Highly recommend.

Our first time here and all I can say is incredible. We were greeted right away from the friendly owner, then got incredible FAST service from Kito. He was so kind, quick, and also so fun to talk to. We ordered a lot of sushi, sashimi, shrimp tempura, tuna tower, etc and thanks to Kito s recommendations, they were all so fresh and 10\10. The ambiance is so nice for date night as well. Tried this place for the 1st time at the Cityline. Nice ambience. Quick service. Food is decent. We ordered chicken spring rolls ( very deep fried and oily, lacked flavor), spicy edamame (good), eel avocado roll (decent), in n out salmon roll (the fish didn t seem fresh enough), chicken fried rice ( tasted the best among the items we ordered, flavorful, but again very oily).

Ordered to go, so dont take my atmosphere or service to heart. I ordered the vegetable tempura $7 small lunch to hold me over for the day. There were a total of 5 vegetables in the box. The smallest amount of food i have ever received from a restaurant before. The flavor was non-existent. I highly recommend not getting this dish as it was a huge letdown for me.

This used to be my goto Sushi spot, even though it is more expensive than any other sushi places in the area. The last couple times we went there the place smelled strongly of dirty mop bucket. Today at 1:15ish we asked if we could sit at the bar and were told yes. We sat and got menus from the hostess. That was the last service we received. We watched a waitress take special care of a couple on the other end of the bar. She looked at us several times and turned around and walked away. We sat for at least 15 mins before we got up and left. We tried to complain at the hostess station. She had her back to us and didnt acknowledge several attempts to get her attention. She finally turned around and we could see she was on the phone. Worst service Ive ever received from anywhere. Sad that this place has changed so much. We used to feel like royalty when we went. Which is what you need at those prices!!

Unfortunately, the manager is absolutely Horrible and has the nastiest attitude I have ever seen. She is disrespectful, childish, and flat out rude. Atmosphere goes for fancy, but has a sports bar area. Clean with good service. Note: read the receipt closely if you are dining people, they auto add 18%. The experience wasnt worth ~40% tip. (18+20) Food: American PoV: tough to find better sushi in the US. Fancy if you want that. $20 rolls. Japanese PoV: Above average, but my 10 is pretty damn high. Sea bass (recommended by waiter) was excellent. Really good sushi. My husband and two of our friends dinner here on NYE. 3 of us ordered and one friend came later and ordered. Apps came fast and then some dishes took a long time to arrive. One of the dishes was fried rice and a table that got there after us got their first, thinking maybe the waiter forgot? Love this establishment! They have their very own Gluten free menu! There are hot and cold items on the menu and theres plenty to choose from! Fried rice, salmon , different kinds of sushi & sashimi. I had the spicy tuna roll, salmon and rainbow roll with FRESH Crab (not the artificial one either WOW). They have a dedicated sushi chef to make your food so that it does not get cross contaminated! We had THE most polite waiter here. I wish I got his name to give him credit. Had glasses and looked to be around 20. We were very impressed with his professionalism and service. The food was so good. I especially loved the butterfly roll. It was low carb and kept me feeling full! Parking in this area is very difficult. If you have a reservation I d definitely show up 15 min early just to drive around to make sure you can find a place to park.

The restaurant has good and expensive food but they dont have better togo container that could handle hot food. Yesterday i ordered an udon carbonara and ikura. I found out the carbonara basically makes the foam togo box melted with the sauce. I felt sick for the entire evening. Food tasted good, but please get better togo boxes, you guys can definitely afford those.

I had the miso sea bass and it was delicious. Definitely one of the best dishes Ive had n a couple of years. My wife had a steak and mushrooms and that was also fantastic. I now have to come every week to try everything. This is awesome food. When you compare prices against other places, its really not that expensive and its the best for in town. We ordered a Togo order. They say it will take 30 mins, we waited. Then the front girl say gives it another 10 mins, if it s not finished she will go check on it. 10 mins later, still no food. She says they lost the ticket, have to wait another 15 mins. How they not lose the tickets of people who dine in?? We have to wait over an hour for a Togo order, still waiting as I m typing this review. Definitely will not come back here.

Great diversity from traditional Japanese restaurants, think traditional sushi meets Japanese tapas from the grill. Great variety of food and different from other restaurants. Servers are very good and helpful. Sake menu not great, beer is bottle only. Clean restaurant, can order food-to-go.

Weve been here before and were impressed. Second time was an extremely disappointment. The host open the doors for us and dropped the door on my wife. The kid never greeted us and picked up the phone to continue his personal conversation. The restaurant smelled of sewage. We had to leave and go next door. What happened to this used-to-be-amazing place?

Came here with a friend for lunch, she was running a bit late which is totally fine. I enjoyed my alone time with a Lychee cocktail and even had the pleasure of meeting the owner of the restaurant who brought me the drink! He was up and helping around the restaurant and being incredibly kind to everyone who walked in, he even pulled chairs out at the bar for 2 women who wished to be seated there, as I sat on my phone and relaxed with my drink I felt SO comfortable and it felt like home! A table of 5 or 6 left and as the table is being bussed, the owner comes and begins to help. Ive worked in the service industry since I was 16 & have never in my life witnessed an OWNER help as much as he did. Not only was our service absolutely amazing but this place is being ran by someone who truly cares about the customers and staff around him, I almost wanted to apply to be honest where else are you going to get this kind of respect in a work place these days?! The food was very fresh, the drinks were strong and I just enjoyed the atmosphere :) Dont hesitate to eat here!

Went to this place with high hopes. Left with nothing but major disappointment. Went in for lunch (3 people total). No tables to be seated. Forced to sit on a make shift bar that was filthy. Sat there for 15 minutes and no came to even ask for water or drinks, let alone order food. After waiting 15 minutes I had to go to the hostess to let her know we have not gotten any drinks or even been helped. 5 minutes later we get asked what we want to drink. Another 10 minutes go by and we finally place our lunch order. Asked for child chopsticks course they are out. We wait over 30 minutes after ordering to get our food. At the end I tell the waitress that I dont have time to eat anymore, I spent my entire lunch break waiting on them and need a refund . She the continues to TAKE MY FOOD AWAY. No apologizes from the manager or anything. Bar had dirty dishes and cups all over. Terrible terrible restaurant. PLEASE STAY AWAY.

Update 7/2022: This was previously my favorite sushi restaurant in dfw. It seems like the owners of Ari Korean BBQ bought this place and the quality has gone downhill. All the sushi / nigiri pieces are drenched in this lemon sauce that drowns out the actual fish taste. The uni does not taste as good. We used to order sweet shrimp, which was off the menu, and it came topped with cavier. Now its topped with cheap roe fish eggs. Will not be returning. My favorite sushi restaurant in dfw. The price to quality ratio is ridiculous. The Toro and uni only cost $7 bucks a piece but tastes like other sushi restaurants that charge $15 to $20 a piece. Other great sushi pieces are the scallop, madai, sweet shrimp, and sake Toro.

Excellent Sushi Roll I order Kabuki Roll for dinner. The roll was surprising because the base is green mix instead of crab meat. However, when I bite it, the crab meat is comes out and full in my mouth. Also come with crunchy fried shrimp. The roll was a little spicy and sour.

My wife and I were looking for a good sushi restaurant in Richardson and decided to try Edoko Sushi. It was a great decision, the food was excellent and the service was equally as good. We truly enjoyed the whole experience. Highly recommend the restaurant. I know well be a regular.
