I tried to retain this law firms services. The first person I spoke to was great, the second person I spoke to had the nastiest attitude towards me. She couldnt even comprehend that my name was Bob. After being greeted with this level of competence I decided that I would not retain their services. The lady even told me that they have a form on their website. Their website looks like it was built off a cheap template. I dont see a form avaliable on their website either. I think its fair to say that you shouldnt trust companies that spend the most on SEO, but seemingly nothing on everything else.

Was allegedly going 90mph in a 45mph zone. Beat the case and just had to not get another traffic violation within the next 6 months. Now it is completely off my record. Spent more up front but will be paying less in the long run with an increase to insurance.

Feels like the lawyer didnt even try. Which is upsetting because for the expensive fee they charge, one wouldve thought they wouldve done more. The only reason I even came here was because Im from another city, and my original attorney couldnt represent me. And dont just take it from me, just look at the rest of the reviews itself. My mistake was not checking the reviews first.

I hired Jack to do a very specific task, read two paragraphs of a traffic code and give me his legal assessment of the meaning. The question was basically...the law allows you to drive a golf cart on the road in certain circumstances, does the subdivision I live in allow this or not? They told me it would be $150 and he could call me later that day. I said Great and re-confirmed that I would have an answer to my question at the end of the call, they assured me i would. Jack did call a few hours later, but sure enough he had not read the traffic code as promised, and rambled on about nothing. In less than 10 min I stopped him because he was not prepared for the call and was delivering nothing close to what he committed. I asked Jack to refund the $150. He refused, and told me it was now a consultation and I was paying for his time... he acted like i had not hired him to do a very specific and simple task. He then boldly offered to actually do what he had promised to deliver on this call for another $500/hr... what? I told him I was going to leave a bad review on google, at that point he threatened to sue me for slander! and said it would end up costing me a lot of money. Jack, If telling the truth about your business practices is a crime, or there is one word in this review that is not accurate, Please go ahead and sue me. I dont know if they intentionally mislead me, are committing fraud, or they are just seriously disconnected within their office between the attorney and clerk that took the original call. Either way, I should have looked at the google reviews before calling this moron. Do yourself a favor and be very careful.

Today I went to the court to talk to, and let them know, that I am being blamed for missing a court date. and they told me you had nothing more than a court date, and that is not a trial date! They said proper trial never ever happened, no trial date ever set for you, first goes court date! Then trial date, and trial never happened, but is supposed to, for proper process. The court says: at this point we are not concerned with you missing a court date, it is why you hired an attorney. He is supposed to be present for court date, and he was, we did not need you at court date, and WERE NOT seeking your presence, this was not a trial yet! If you had a trial and missed it, then we would have questions as to where are you. Your attorney did not request any trial date whatsoever, he never did, instead he signed you guilty, right up on court date, and made himself free. We do not have a trial date on record, none. Who told you, you had obligation to be present on court date? I said: the attorney... We do not require! Trial date yes! but not the court date! Why did you hire an attorney then??? He is the one to be on court date, not you, dont let anyone be telling you this! You were signed guilty by your attorney without even getting through the stage, and getting there to setting a trial to happen! This is update with what court told me! The question is, how am I being made guilty, without full due process, and trial? You cant go into convicting for guilty, anyone who sees them self innocent, without a trial taking place! Only then! And here we never had it progress to that stage, and it is a must! You cant convict, and waive a right to trial and hearing, for your defendant because he is not at the court date! Court said not required! if anyone said required to be on court date, then it is not a proper process, you do not pass court date for a trial, that is never proper judicial process, And the attorney, signed me guilty, waived my right to trial and hearing, without ever telling me a thing! This was no trial. Just a court date, I never gave up. and I never gave up a right for trial and hearing, and attorney did not inform me, did not ask me, and like a cattle signed me waving my right to trial and taking defeat. Based on what? On me not being present for the court date about which the court said I am not required to be present at, at all? Is this lynching? You have arrived at the court early, I know you do! You dont see me, you all have my cellphone number, was it so hard to text me a single text saying where are you, I am in the court and you arent. I live mere 5.5 miles from the court, you never texted, you wanted me convicted! You have conveniently signed me guilty, signed for me waiving right to trial and hearing like you were not just a representative, but my very self! without ever asking me a thing, before signing. you dont ever sign anything, unless I approve it! You can not impersonate me at 100% no matter what. Solely what the court informed me today. I harbor no evil in heart, I am crashed and desperate at this point. My two legs are barely holding me, they are cut, drilled, and what not. It is the reason why I am driving. It only tells even louder, I never had an intention to miss a court of any, I simply was mislead in email communications from the mediator. I did not do the offenses. As I found out, you Sir, spent a lifetime being a former prosecutor, speaks volumes! It seems if you dont believe someone, you will set them for failure. My insurance is now 800$ more expensive you are ruining lives! May it all be served from God to you, the way you serve it, convict without trial date ever set, first is just an arraignment! That must happen and pass, only then trial court date set! And you, for your convenience make it over with without trial ever set! Royse city court clerk said, there was no trial date ever set! What you did Sir, truly is criminal!

We hired him to take care of a ticket that had turned into a warrant for my daughter. They said that it would take about 6 weeks for the warrant to be lifted. It took almost 7 months and every time we called that said it would take another 6 weeks. After a year they sent a confusing letter telling someone who doesnt have a car or drive that they need insurance before court. So we tried to call and speak to the actual attorney. We have never spoken to Jack Byno even once since hiring him and they tried to charge150 more dollars for a consultation. The man on the phone was rude and wouldnt let us talk, kept talking over us so i asked for a supervisor who also talked over us repeatedly. He would tell me to ask my questions and when i started speaking he would pop off that he was waiting for my questions. When I got mad because he wouldnt let me speak he told me to take a chill pill. Mr Byno is too busy to talk to his clients and keeps taking on more clients anyway. Because hes too busy for them, he has unlicensed people in his office giving legal advice to those clients. Ill admit I got a little heated myself but I cant stand being given the run around or treated like Im stupid or like my money doesnt matter. He laughed when I said we paid hard earned money because it was only $150. Were talking about a single mom who is living with her parents because she cant afford her own place right now and that money was on top of the other fees to take care of the warrant. In his words they open at least 15 cases a day. That $150 sure does add up quickly at that rate. Either way, I dont care if its $20. If JACK BYNO was contracted to do a job for that rate then we should be able to speak to him at least once before court.

Overall good service! Ticket was $330, ended up paying around $420 ish after all said and done with 90 day probation which was my only critique. But thats still better than getting that $100/M insurance premium increase over next 3 years. They obviously know what theyre doing, and overall would probably work with them again! Wish I didnt get the probation but eh what can you do. Solid service, most people posting reviews dont understand how much of a favor these guys are doing for you even if you end up paying more upfront, youre potentially saving 100s if not thousands longterm.

Jack Byno lacks in communication. I never received a copy of what was agreed to. Months later I received a letter from the court for failure to appear only then to find out he filed a waiver so I cant appeal my case. Mr. Byno needs to do better for his clients, especially when you take their money. I do not recommend hiring him.

Excellent representation and advice. I have never had a situation where my driver s license was in jeopardy for the past 52 years that I ve been driving. I was freaking out. Jack explained to me exactly how everything was going to go down and he told me he would take care of it the best he could but there were no guarantees. Scam. So I basically paid $250 for representation on an insurance ticket that I could not pay only for them to tell me to pay the ticket. Waste of money and a scam, I was given a completely different introduction of what the outcome would be before I paid them for representation. So basically they did nothing at all, but take my money and tell me to pay the ticket. And when you call them after you have already paid for representation, you have to press one like you re a new client because they do not have an option to speak to them personally after they have received your money..We are in such a recession that even law offices are scamming people just for an extra couple dollars. Had to come back and edit my review because I was not able to respond. But you basically gave a copy and paste response under my review, you did not send any text messages or anything to my phone nor did you guys call me, you sent me an email saying to pay the ticket. You guys sent me two emails to send you a copy of my insurance which I did they first day and I had to do it twice because of the lack of professionalism , And not only that I pled no contest because I was told by you guys that I would get a different outcome instead of having to pay the ticket. I have received no phone calls or text messages since I hired you guys and you know that you can show no proof of that. READ BEFORE YOU HIRE!!!! To the readers of this review. In Jack Bynos 30 year history of representing clients he has been reviewed well below his peers. To save you some time and money hire a different attorney. Review Updated with reply to respons Do Your Research On This Attorney. A Google search will tell you how poorly they are reviewed. Do not use this attorney. They sent me the wrong template and when I found out what happened I was in an even bigger problem then the ticket. They then act like it was explained when it wasnt. When I I contracted with them the person I spoke to told me one thing and then they no longer work there so things changed. I will never use them again for a ticket. It was a complete waste of money to hire them. Read the other 1 star reviews and it will tell you the truth. Look up there reviews on other websites and you see how poorly this firm is reviewed by not only clients but other attorneys. He touts being a former judge but he resigned due to the scrutiny of a report of misconduct against him. Ultimately it was found to be false but he was per a report a controversial judge due to his sentencing practices for traffic violations. Updated: Mr. Byno you have released information about this that first isnt completely true and that is protected by attorney client privilege. It doesnt surprise me though based off of the lies your saying in your statement. You had someone else working for your firm who told something different when I signed up. Mr Byno while you enjoy insulting people I think I will be posting your resignation from being a judge. I have not made a bad review for every attorney I have dealt with. Actually i recently left a 5 star review for a firm that you can look them up and see there areas of practice and it has nothing to do with anything criminally. They actually know how to handle a persons legal needs unlike you sir. The other firms you speak of were when I needed attorneys sir for my wife and kids immigration cases since you want to insinuate that Im a criminal. Ive never in my life been charged with a felony or violent crime but you have had allegations made against you and then you resigned immediately after. You also were scrutinized for the way you handled simple traffic violations in your court giving harsh penalties for minor traffic violations. You are rated poorly on Avvo which is a reputable site that rates attorneys. Every website that has ratings for attorneys on that are reputable you are rated below your peers. Instead of trying to be petty maybe you should take the time sir to look into how you handle your practice. I have used Jack Byno and associates a few times and every time they have gotten me the absolute best outcome! Ive used them for a speeding ticket and a failure to pay tolls (actually not my fault). They saved me so much time and money. Got my failure to pay tolls completely dismissed and speeding tickets off my record. Definitely recommend! The bad reviews seem to be left by people who dont know a lot about how all this works, I wouldnt give them too much credence.

WOW! Bad reviews are from people who really lack accountability. Some people dont understand that attorneys can get your ticket dismissed and lower your ticket cost its actually a way better ROI(return on investment). My ticket wouldve been $563 and I only have to pay $209 thats literally $354 I saved. Oh and lets not forget warrant and past due fees, AND higher insurance I avoided. If you cannot see the benefits of using attorney services. Then you are a silly little human being. The Jack Byno team is extremely quick to respond and will be my go to if I get in trouble again.

Wow...what a reply....again...if someone cared that this happened it would have been awesome... I had thought the process smooth and seemless until time to pay my tickets. According to my paperwork they were discounted by 167 dollars after paying the attorney double but still happy I got deferred. Then the court tells me no you owe a different amount altogether on the ticket and my money order was in fact needing to be 70 dollars more making it only 116 savi ngs. Still would have been ok about it had it not been the complete oversight and then just a simple we dont know how that happened from the attorney office seemed pretty uncaring while I had to deal with redoing everything Id done. Pretty disappointing no one cared to try to make it right or even pretend to investigate what went wrong

Had I read the reviews first before going to them, I wouldve stayed away. I paid $100 (although the website said $75) to end up paying for a $250 ticket. The ticket wouldve originally been $307. But now Im coming out an extra $43. They said it was a deal that after 90 days, it wont be on my record if I dont receive any tickets within that time. But, I have gotten a ticket before, and I know that is already something in Texas that they offer without a lawyer making a deal for you. Its cheaper to handle it yourself. Also, it seems that they will fight the people they call themselves representing in the comments harder than they will fight for you in a case. And at least converting the old vegetable oil into gas would actually do its job.

Paid $150 for them to represent me and still had to pay $300 on my ticket. I am goin to have to reset this court date and fight it myself. So I am not misleading anyone. I was waiting on the response as to why they would not accept my insurance and all i got was a request for my DL. It was not until the case was closed that they responded as to why. The courts said my insurance was invalid b/c of the time stamp but geico made an error online and billed me twice once in the morning and once in the afternoon. The whole purpose of hiring an attorney was to communicate this to the judge, but I never had a chance.

We hired this attorney office for my husbands no license and no proof of insurance tickets back in September in Carrollton. Everything went smoothly towards the end of the year. However when he received a probationary period we did not get further details that he had to show up to the municipal court to show his valid license and proof of insurance (THATS INCLUDING A LETTER FROM AN AGENT SHOWING PROOF) . So this year comes around and apparently he failed his probationary period because he failed to appear to show these documents to the court and now has another court date to get this sorted out. Our issue is that no one communicated with us LAST YEAR that the insurance card was NOT VALID PROOF FOR THE COURT but the attorney was still able to show up to the court date and show all these documents, make it make sense. Time jump to these past few weeks. We now have a court date next friday for all these nonsense however we decided do this ourselves since this attorney office basically did nothing for us but take our money. I spoke with an assistant here asking about the insurance proof letter because the municipal court told us they never received it from the attorney expect for the license. She was confused as me as to why we never received a notice from the court that the insurance card was invalid proof. So beware of hiring this attorney office for tickets dismissal as to there is LACK OF COMMUNICATION AND DIFFICULT TO RECEIVE SOLID ANSWERS FROM THEM DIRECTLY. You re even better of doing it the ticket dismissal yourself.

Just now learning 10+ years later that he did not take care of my ticket like I paid him to do. Latest and Last review on 2/10/2023 It has all turned our quite favorable for me. Jack Byno & Associates was able to help me get my penalty down to a very reasonable amount with a 90 day probation. This would keep my driving records clean. In addition, they were able to get the second case dismissed. I d consider this a really good result for me. So I d like to thank Jack Byno and his office. I m leaving a 4 star because of the anxiety they had caused me during the Christmas break (see below reviews). But overall a positive feedback and will recommend those in need to hire them without hesitation. Jack Byno took my case to represent me for my speeding violation traffic citation and a citation for failure to comply with the seat belt law for a minor. When I hired them they clearly told me that I will not need to appear during my scheduled court date of mid December. Weirdly one day after my designated court appearance date of mid Dec, I got a delinquent notice from the court saying I have not responded to the citation and have failed to appear in the court and a warrant will be issued in my name. Jack Byno was supposed to respond to my case. Completely unreliable office. I don t trust them anymore and will do whatever I can to make sure at least the people who I know don t end up hiring this office. In addition, I will report this misrepresentation to the municipal court as well and see how I can be helped. - - 12/26: Wanted to make sure I maintain continuity on this thread. Since it is unfair to review a business without the full story. Response from Jack Byno (this is not a classified information and hence I am deciding to paste the information here) You hires us only a few days before that letter was sent out and the court had not processed our letter of representation by then. As we received a court notice AFTER that letter was sent out they now have us listed as the attorney of record and gave us a court date for January that you do NOT have to appear at as we discussed above. Attached is that letter again. If you would like to call the court and confirm for yourself you may do so but otherwise please disregard that letter. My response (I chose not to respond to this email): I hired Jack Byno the day after I received the citation which was one month from the first court appearance date. So I DO NOT agree with their statement You hires us only a few days before that letter was sent out . My opinion: They got delayed with the response and are trying to cover themselves up with incorrect comment on timelines.

They are fast and the staff is professional. If you are expecting to get your ticket dismissed and not pay anything to the court then you probably dont want to hire a lawyer. Plus you still have to be ticket free for 90 days in the city that cited you, even if you got a ticket that was falsified or not accurate. if you want to prove that the cops pulled you over for no reason then its $500 to prove your innocent or you can show up to court yourself and try to explain to the judge which are prob. golfing buddies with the citing officer so good luck. No one has time to go to court, Basically its cheaper to go to court your self and get it dismissed or you can pay Jack Byno to do it for you. It all depends on how valuable time is to you.

I retained Jack and his office back around April or May to handle my red light ticket after my traffic accident. They were upfront and crystal clear on the process and my options. Awesome, I knew what I wanted going into the case, I felt the officer lied to me and I told Raj my attorney and was willing to back it up with my testimony, and a witness that the cop lied about his evidence. We pushed the prosecution from Day 1 and didnt sit back waiting for them to strategize their case, asked for Video discovery. Turned out DISMISSED ! INSUFFICIENT Evidence ! Speeding 113 in a 65. Started out 123 mph in a 65 they kept going down in numbers every time we asked them Lol. I own a Laser Detector and it never went off and I used that as part of my evidence, also I stopped by the Police station and asked them to Laser me to see if it still worked and all my detection equipment was working thats how I knew the officer was lying. And the fact that he was not along side the road. He was back in the bushes on the service road, Ive never seen this technique used for Laser LOL). Recommend Jacky Byno !!!!

Left a review few years back but I guess I was too aggressive because they got Google to remove it lol. Anyway listen to the bad reviews. I was a first time offender back then for a speeding ticket and rolling a stop sign. These guys cant do jack (pun intended) against small simple traffic tickets besides show up to court for you on your behalf. If thats worth $150 then go for it. But if its a simple traffic violation such as mine its better just to pocket the $150 show up yourself. You can keep it off your record on your own just by talking to the judge and going through the good old take a safety course and have it done by this date etc etc. Dont expect them to be able to lower the cost of the violation or anything like that. Obviously I dont know what they can do for other violations. All I know is the only thing they can do for simple traffic violations is extend the court date and show up for you.

I would not recommend. I reached out to Jack Byno, Attorney at Law in order to get a speeding ticket dismissed to ensure that it would not be on my record. I first reached out late June early July. Jack assured me that he would be able to get my ticket dismissed. Being a busy college student on top of working full-time, it s easy for stuff to slip your mind. As I was going through my emails looking for something for my school I noticed that I had an email from July 11th in the spam file from the attorneys office. I was very distraught because according to the email my payment was due three days before I even saw it. I called the office first thing Monday morning and explained the situation to the receptionist which then told me our emails end up in people s spam quite often . Also while speaking with the receptionist, they let me know that my actual due date wasn t for another five days so I was in a state of panic for nothing. I understand that things happen and it is not completely their fault but considering that they know there is a history of this being an issue it would have been nice for them to give me a phone call to ensure that I received the email. Another issue I had was the fact that I was given strict instructions by Jack and his team that I needed to complete a safe driving course online in order for the ticket to be excused. This ended up not being true, which I only found out because I didn t think my documents would get to the court in time if I mailed them so I drove and dropped them off there myself. While at the court the lady proceeded to tell me that she always runs into these issues with Jack Byno. So I ended up taking $100 course online that took six hours of my time when it was not necessary. She even showed me the document that she forwarded to them that clearly said that I was not required to take the course. Again I am a busy college student who is working full-time to put herself through school, so the amount of stress that was added to me to take a six hour online course and have to pay another hundred dollars within a couple of days, on top of all of the fees I had already paid, could have all been avoided if this attorneys office did their jobs correctly and had better communication with their clients!

Hire at your own risk! Mr Byno and I had spoken via phone and he told me what he would do for my case so I paid him the retaining fee. He set a court date and I didn t have to be present, perfect! In September 2018 I received a speeding ticket in West Tawakoni, because this was a smaller unfamiliar city and i was only 22 at the time i did not want this to effect my driving record. I acquired Jack Bynos services, shortly after they told me they would be appealing my ticket to the higher court of Hunt County and I needed to send them a money order of $378 dollars payable to the court. I did that November of 2018. Subsequently I followed up with them every 4-6 months asking for updates and each time I was told that the courts had been unresponsive and they were still trying to get my appeal pushed through. I called September 2021 as a part of my routine calls every 4-6months and Jack himself picked up the phone and said since my ticket was approaching three years i should get a dismissal in October. I folllowed up in October asking for my money order back and follow up on my citation dismissal and was asked to send an email that has never been responded to. I followed up Novemeber and was met by rudeness from Casey telling me the courts were stil unresponsive. I thought that was strange so I finally called West Tawakoni they immediately returned my call and they told me my case had been dismissed since Jan 2019. When I called to inform Casey of this, she was rude and simply stated she would inform her office manager, no apology, not even a change of tone when it was CLEAR they had dropped the ball. I wasnt even upset i just wanted my money order back. I called back the next day to follow up on when my 378 dollars would be returned to me and Casey began to tell me that she was waiting for the courts to send a dismissal letter. When I called and spoke to the courts they told me that because my case is almost 3 years now, it had been sent to archive and it would take them a while to obtain that paperwork. I called her back and let her know of this and that i would simply like my money order returned to me and she had been nothing but rude to me and since they have done NOTHING with my case for the last 3 years they had no reason to continue holding my documents and money order sine theyre not even representing me. She told me they dont want a client like me and Ive called them too much and hung up in my face even though they have almost had THREE YEARS to resolve this and I was only calling them to inform them of information they had been claiming for the last 3 years that they were unable to obtain from West Tawakoni. I drove up to his office, and Casey continued to be rude and even threatend to call the cops on me when I was simply asking for my items back. I recorded all our encoutners via iphone video in the past 2 days to show that i had not even raised my voice at her and even with me essentially doing all their leg work and not being angry (although i had the right to be), I was treated nastily. Please spare yourself from being treated subhuman and unprofessionalism.

I had an accident in September 2020 and hired this law firm to fight 2 non moving violations. My attorney Rodger completely forgot one of my cases. Didnt have part of the evidence that I wouldve used had I gone to trial but since I was outgunned compared to the court I decided to plead no contest. Carrollton judge didnt even go down on my fine and still and to pay the attorney. If I were you go do some research and find others before going to jack byno. Only Saving Grace is that they tried to fight for the first 6 months sending me a couple of offers.

Man who answered my call was very rude and even hung up on me. I called and told them that the court had sent my ticket to the wrong location and that the phone numbers listed to call told me to call the number at the bottom which was a complaint hotline. After only 3 minutes on the phone of the man rudely exclaiming he could not help me and to figure it out I was I hung up on. I was very nice and soft spoken the entire call but from the very first second you could tell the man was in a horrible mood and was going to be rude the entire way through! Do not recommend!!!

This law firm is very bad at procrastinating cases until the last minute and extremely bad at getting into contact with you about what is needed and going on during your case. They almost caused me to get a warrant because they did not contact the court until after i call them and explained how the court was giving me a final notice about my ticket before issuing a warrant. They finally got back to the court house and they told me that they got my case down to a deferral and that as long as i didnt get a ticket in the next 90 day it wouldnt go on my record. What they failed to mention, even after me giving them a money order for the court house and me asking if i needed to do anything else for my ticket and them saying no, is that i needed to do a defensive driving course and show a certificate of completion to the court house. Now i have a court order to appear before a judge in march because of the failure to do the drive safe course that they didnt tell me i had to do and i am once again facing getting a warrant because they didnt properly inform me on what needed to be done

I truly wish I could give this law firm 0 stars. I got super unlucky and was pulled over by 2 different police officers in 2 different counties a week apart. The first one was totally my fault, but the second, the cop harassed me and gave me a ticket for something totally different than why he pulled me over. I contacted jack byno to help me with these tickets, and he went to the courts and had both courts agree to give me differed adjudicating. But, he also had both courts agree to defensive driving, which I can only take a year apart. So now I have one case resolved and the other will have to be solved by me. When I contacted him with my issue, his assitant told me well that s what you get for being irresponsible and getting two tickets back to back. They are highly unprofessional and I have now payed them $100 for each ticket ($200 total) and they refuse to help me with my second case. DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY. I will now be hiring another attorney to press charges on Jack Byno. UPDATE: this is very comical to me because in the document he sent me it stated that I could not take 2 defensive driving courses within 12 months. I also talked to his receptionist and I said that the STATE would not allow me to take another course, I never said I didn t want to. I got no explanation. He then stated that it was my fault. I ended up contacting the court myself and she stated I was able to take 2 in one year since I am under 25. I just would have liked for the information to be explained to me.

I recently received a speeding violation (January 16, 2021) while passing through Decatur, TX., in my car. I live in Houston which is approximately 4 hours away. The next day I googled traffic ticket defense and Jack Bynos office came up. Contacted the office by email the next day and received a phone call . Long story short. Paid 500 dollars for his service. The following week (19th) I received a letter stating he had negotiated a 125.00 dollar fine, with 60 day deferred which means after 60 days, ( March 22nd)and no additional tickets, my record would be clean. I sent the fine on Wednesday. Later that day I received a letter directly from the court saying that due to COVID restrictions, they would settle my case for 125.00 and 30 DAY deferred. So in short I paid 500.00 plus 125.00 to Jack Byno to get me a worse deal than dealing directly with the court. Mr. Byno is no Donald Trump when it comes to negotiations. The DA must be laughing. I contacted his office and was told sorry nothing they could do about it. Ethically, he should have advised me that the court was offering deals due to COVID or at the very least charged me a lot less for his lackluster skills. Mr. Byno lives and works in the court jurisdiction and has done so for over 15 years so it is highly unlikely that he was unaware of this. I will follow up if anything changes. My advice is contact the court first DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY. Follow up. Dear Jack, I must have struck a nerve. I know the truth hurts sometimes, especially when you have such a high opinion of yourself. The facts dont lie and a quick search of other rating sites show very similar if not worse complaints than mine. Your response to my critique of your performance reeks of desperation and is pathetic. You are one step below an ambulance chaser and a discredit to the legal profession. Your braggadocios statement regarding two stints as a municipal court judge, further validates your ineptness as a practicing lawyer. Any former judge with just a modicum of legal acumen would have been able to secure for his client a result as good or better than what the court would offer someone operating pro se. In my case, you charged me 500.00 for a 60 day probation and a 125.00 fine. The court offered me 30 days probation and a 125.00 fine. According to your office it was too bad, so sad the judge was sympathetic and 60 days probation was a good deal. Only you would come up with that type illogical legal reasoning. Your covid comments were laughable at best and typical for someone who is trying to deflect from the truth. I invite anyone reading this to check out your ratings on all the reporting sites including the BBB. I will be filing a complaint with them and am contemplating filing a grievance/ethics complaint with the State Bar as well. The evidence on social media review sites is more than enough establish a pattern of fraud, deceit, and ineffective aid and assistance. Jack what are you doing to reduce the covid 19 death toll?

They did a good job, but it is difficult to get information out of them. Some times you would get someone that knew alot while others you would get someone that knew Little and would steer you in the direction that leads to anxiety. Just wish they had a more organized way of communication, I know each lawyer has alot of caes but they should have a line directly to said lawyer to ask questions and gather information.

The attorney that I had ( 01/20/2020) was so unprofessional and she don t even know what to do. I end up paying for this unprofessional law office, because of her I end up paying for the full ticket amount and the record goes to my driving license. I will definitely NOT recommend you this law office. You ll regret the way I m at now. And one thing, they don t even have a phone to contact them about your case. Only email. And the email you ve to send them a bunch of times in order to respond to you back with a simple out of the topic message.

This is one of those shady law firms. Once they got your money they wont even answer your phone calls. They dont disclose any of the court interaction with the client. The only interact with you on email and also so rude. Just to get the court letter you need to send dozen emails, its waste of your time. This firm will not solve your problem instead create more problems. I never thought there could be this bad non professional lawyer would be there in Dallas.

I have a CDL and was pulled over for speeding in my Fiancé s car going 15 over.... if I didn t have a CDL it wouldn t be such a big deal, but I did and it was. 15 over is considered reckless driving with a CDL regardless if you are driving a commercial vehicle or not and you can t take defensive driving classes to get it off your record. I hired Jack Byno and he personally guided me through the process, called me with updates and best of all he got it off my record (oh, and I didn t have to show up in court). I applied for a job last week, they checked my MVR and it was CLEAN! I start orientation Monday. Thank you Jack!

Hired this law firm to represent me in court. First appearance in court was scheduled at 9am. He was late and called me after 9 letting me know it was cancelled. I already knew that. Second appearance he was no call, no show. Called their office after being called up in court and seeing the judge, and they didnt receive the notice. Had to ask the judge to please reschedule. Third appearance Jack called me 10 minutes before court at 8:50 running late. Court was at 9am. I was there early and ready to go. Judge felt bad for me and went ahead and looked at my case. Finally met Jack on my way exciting the courthouse. Jack claims its my fault for arriving too early. I had to take off three days of work for this mess. They wont refund my money. Wasnt asking for all of it, I understand they had to do some work, but I lost even more money than just their fee. Wouldnt recommend. Communication was difficult. Everytime I called they office, the tele prompt tells you to email them instead. Never had direct contact with my lawyer until he called me. .

Hired this office today to assist with keeping 2 speeding tickets off of my sons driving record. I found the office staff (particularly Bridget) to be informative, helpful and very professional. I already came across a mistake and followed up to have it corrected. It seems to be a busy office, and yes I have hired them to represent my son in these matters, but that doesnt excuse us from being diligent on our part and helping out were can to encourage the best possible outcome. I will update my rating as events unfold, but I fully expect to have a positive experience with a reputable attorney.

Listen! I went to Attorney Jack Byno feeling anxious and worried about some old tickets, that turned into warrants. TX wanted me to pay over $2200 in tickets/court fees. Jack looked at me and said hey man, I can t make any guarantees....but stop all that sweating; I ll handle it for you Lol. NEXT THING I KNOW... tickets dismissed. Mr Byno is one of the worst attorneys in north Texas. Attorneys works for the best of their clients and fight for the best possible deals to satisfy their clients. This lawyer is greedy and has no ethical standard to follow. We hired him on a traffic violation case,just speeding ticket for my son. His retention fee was $150 , and the outcome is $334 fine, defensive driving class and three mobth probation. Lawyers are to represent their clients in courts but mr Byno asked us to come to the court , and he didnt show up, when we called his office, we were told that he already had a deal with the prosecutor the day before. Such an attorney who rips off his client should be out of business .
