We had an amazing experience at Cotton Patch! Our waiter, Jillian did an amazing job! She had a beautiful sweet spirit, and made sure that we had what we needed. The food here is absolutely delicious! Ive have never been disappointed. My family and I have been eating at Cotton Patch for over 12 years. I cannot speak for the sitdown service as I typically order take-out, but otherwise love this place. Staff are always friendly when picking up and orders are normally always ready by the time I get there (if theyre not its usually not more than a 5-10min wait). Food is excellent, and my personal go to is the shiner battered fried flounder. Overall if youre in the mood for southern comfort food, this is probably the best spot for it in College Station/Bryan.

My boyfriend and I spontaneously stopped here for lunch one afternoon after leaving an appointment in the area. It wasnt very busy and we were waited on and served quickly. I have no complaints about the food or service. It is a very open atmosphere, so while we waited we looked around and it was a lot of dirty areas that should be cleaned regularly since youre serving food. Its an open ceiling so you can see the piping and a/c returns and ceiling fans and it was lots of dust buildup that is coming down onto your food.

Food was delicious. Large portions. Had beef tips, meat was tender and moist not hard and dried out. Gave me a pub style food feeling. Green beans were great. Oven baked squash was a little weird but thats just because I was expecting sliced squash, I think it was some type of casserole but it was very tasty and I would definitely order it again. Only complaint I would have was my Ceasar salad, lettuce was a little on the wilty side, but they did not lack on Ceasar dressing or cheese. Will definitely order from here again. &

Extremely disappointed with this place. I get company meals sometimes so Ive given this place many chances and theyre consistently terrible. The cooks cant steam broccoli so I asked for it extra steamed and its still basically raw and crunchy. The grilled chicken is dry AF. Patty melt with no mayo has mayo on it and the fries are soggy. Call in an order to speak to someone who sounds like they hate their life and you. The steaks Ive had here disappoint as well. The few menu items that are supposed to be healthy (fish and grilled chicken) have sugary maple crap drizzled all over them. This place is a disgrace and needs a complete overhaul. Ill never come here again and everyone involved from the top down should be absolutely and utterly ashamed.

We went while it was empty so it was just us and all the staff were really nice! Bright smiles, friendly chitchat, and they gave us tips about other places in the city to check out. Their sweet tea is really good, definitely recommend. The rolls are awesome, and the chicken fried steak was delicious! First off, we love eating at cotton patch. Great food, decent price, good size portions. Then only problem I have is for the price of the Entrée for chicken n dumpling soup, you should get WAY more! To add 2 cups of chicken n dumpling soup as a side is $1 and that equals the same size as the entrée for $12?!??!!?!? It should be like 3x that much for the entrée. I couldnt believe that when I saw that. Shame on yall. Love yalls food but that is an awful sneaky upcharge yall are doing. To clarify, it was a pick up order and the two side orders of the soup (side containers that were each) was equal to the entrée that was the same side container just full.

Never got a chance to try their food but their customer service was the worst. I arrived there 10 minutes before their closing time and asked them if they can get me a grilled salmon. The girl at the counter said the grill was turned off and they couldn t cook anything. There were so many gnats flying around and we could not enjoy our meals. We even moved spots but nope! They were everywhere. I really used to love this place, but it has gotten very run down. It needs a good cleaning. The restroom is awful and needs a really, really good cleaning. My food, the salmon was fair. One of my sides was the cinnamon apples. I got 2 apple slices mixed a gooey, overly sweet syrup. My friend got the chicken fried steak which when all the breading was removed was about 3 bites worth. Yes. She removed the breading to see if there was even any steak inside. I am very disappointed because this has always been a favorite place to eat in College Station. It would also be nice if you offered a heart healthy choice on the $10 part of the menu.

This was a disaster of a visit. Me and my wife went for a date night after viewing homes. We decided to get the 2 for $26 deal they were offering that day. We both decided to get the bacon wrapped filet, hers was to be cooked medium well and mine rare. She decided her sides would be the broccoli and cheese and black eyed peas and i chose the mashed potatoes and cinnamon apples. They brought out the food and presented us with two rare filets with two charred pieces of bacon a piece placed on top of the filets. They also brought out our sides however my wife had gotten a black eyed peas and a cinnamon apple instead of what she had ordered.

My oh my! When Cracker Barrel cancelled me and my cousin s reservation I thought we d be eating dinner at home for our 3 year anniversary. We ended up going to cotton patch and even though it was crazy packed, the food was scrumptious and our waiter, Jonathan, made the experience so worth it. He was very welcoming and friendly especially to our 3 year old boy who has special needs. We will definitely be going back as this was a 10/10 restaurant. Lilly was nice too.

I don t love southern food but this place was pretty solid. The food was good, but what made my experience really great though was our server, Jonathan. To say he was the perfect waiter simply isn t enough. He was super attentive and so funny, almost too funny. Our cups were never empty and our food came out so quick. When I thought he couldn t get any better in the middle of dinner my dad started choking and Jonathan literally saved his life. That boy is a hero and deserves a medal. I will totally be coming here again.

If I could describe this place in two words it would be OH YEAH! . The food was phenomenal, I almost thought I was at a Chili s. I tried the chicken fried steak and mwah Chef s kiss. The service team took care of us well like a pampered baby. Jonathan was our WAITER and boy oh boy did he impress us. He was the definition of service with a smile. Most places let your Dr. Pepper run dry and for a minute or two you start to believe that God s nectar has been taken away from this Earth. However, Jonathan made sure the Dr. Pepper was an everlasting well for us and we couldn t thank him enough. Cheers to Jonathan and the Cotton Patch Crew!

Jonathan was an AMAZING waiter. He gave my group dinner and entertainment with his witty humor, there were laughs all around. When I told him it was my cousins goldfishs (Steve) birthday he gave the table a free chocolate Dr Pepper cake, complete with candles and a song. This young man certainly has a bright future.

Stopped by for lunch with the family and had a great experience! The kids were begging for Golden Corral but we decided to try something new and im glad we did. They ran out of the kids chicken tenders and I feared my son would go ballistic again (we are banned from Canes). Luckily our server Jonathan offered to make us a secret menu item. 10/10 great place to dine, my son loved the Undertime Slopper!

Great experience! I went a week ago with my daughter and we split a country fried steak. Delicious food not to mention the service was incredible. I had Jonathan as my waiter and he was friendly and fully accommodating. My daughter has trouble with social situations and he made her feel very welcome. Definitely gonna come back!

The grilled chicken salad I ordered was delicious- especially with the ranch dressing. It was very filling. My friend ordered the chicken fried steak and was pretty disappointed. The batter was thick and didn t stick to the meat.

Have eaten here several times, tonight was one of the worst. Jonathan was the waitress who was not attentive at all was overall horrible! We had to ask for the ticket and a To go box after he never returned to the table. I went to the counter to pay ticket he then asked, would you like drinks to go? At the bottom of my receipt I wrote poor service. When I walked to car he was showing the other employees and laughing which is very unprofessional!!!

Never will I dine in at this location I should have drove the extra miles to the Bryan location where the waitresses are more experienced and professional not to mention it s cleaner as well here s my whole experience at this location I ordered cheese fries and got a child s plate very small portion I was very disappointed and I also ordered a Cobb salad that I was very disappointed with and was so disgusting the avocado was black and I threw it out and the lettuce had a old taste the tea had a old taste as well just horrible experience and how do serve food that doesn t look mouth watering or appealing I literally had to drown my salad with ranch to be able to try to eat it worst food ever I ll never eat from this location again I m glad I didn t get food poisoning from the salad what a waste of my money.POOR MANAGEMENT SKILLS AND WAITRESSES NEED TO BE MORE PROFESSIONAL LOOKING!
