Oaks park is great if you live close by, no amenities like restrooms which sucks, but there are volleyball courts, basketball courts, and the most popular, disc golf. A great place to hang or just walk the dog. I enjoy playing volleyball here with friends, just watch out for the sand it s not as fine as other courts in the area.

The park is quite nice. It has benches, a picnic pavilion, a quality basketball court and a very nice 9 hole disc golf course that is quite beginner friendly with little water. Current drought conditions have the grass in rough shape, but the park still has a good feel to it and I imagine it is phenomenal when there is enough rain to keep the grass green.

Small park with short disk golf course. They have volleyball and basketball too. With a play area for kids. Cons is that the bathrooms are always locked. Not sure if something happened to cause this but it is unfortunate that you cant use the restroom there. However, its a cute and calm park. If youre looking for a easy disk course they got it.

I came for the disc golf. Short course, perfect for a warm up or quick lunchtime game, though a bit worn out. I dont live in College Station anymore but I always have discs in my trunk so I can hit a few of the courses. This is usually my first stop.

Great for beginner disc golf or if you want to get a short round in! Once you re better or if it isn t busy you can easily go for two rounds back to back for some practice! Based on the neighborhood it s in and what I ve seen through my experiences, this isn t exactly the type of place you want to be after dark. Discs are easy to retrieve if you get it stuck in the creek. Note that people at the apartments don t seem to have their dogs on leashes, so there s a chance you might encounter one wandering or trying to take your disk.

This is one of my favorite parks in College Station. It has a great beginner disc golf course. You can blow through it in 30 minutes. It also has a covered basketball court. I think lights go out at 10pm. There s a sand volleyball court and children s playground. It also has a fairly large pavilion. There are bathrooms nearby but I wouldn t count on them being clean. I don t recommend being out at this park at night time.

Officers always want to talk to people walking the park. Homeless people lock themselves in t thg restrooms to do drugs and there is no lighting at night. This is due to the homeless people trying to spend the night under the Pavilion in the restrooms. The apartments on both sides of the park are low income and cheap and it is a very high drug traffic area. I would not suggest you take your children to this part. The sad part is its right in the heart of College Station.

Good 9-hole disk golf course. The drives are fairly short but challenging due to the layouts and trees. There is a creek in the middle but it is shallow and clear making for easy disk retrieval. I had a birdie today and several oars.

A fairly nice park between two apartment complexes (actually a fairly high crime area in the city). Has a play set, gazebo, covers basketball court, walking path, and a small stream. A 9 hole disc golf course runs through the park. The holes are fairly short (only a few over 200 feet). Some holes are fairly easy and a couple holes have a tree or two directly in front of the tee pad not 20 or 30 feet out. The course design seems a bit of an afterthought.

This park is a great place to play a round of disc golf, basket ball with the bros or take the kids to watch an exciting police chase. Hide behind the beautiful tall oaks as police set up a perimeter around the nearby apartment complex. Lay down in the lush green grass as the officers take down the perp.

I really do love this place the disc golf course is best in town and the playground is taken care of. Sadly, the area has recently begun to decline. The adjacent apartments surrounding the area attract a lot of shady people. As some one who has lived in that area for 10+ years I have seen and delt with disc thieves, drug users and drunks. A lot of fun can be had here and the disc golf is always amazing. Just bring hand sanitizer and pick up after your self, the place has enough trash.
