In all fairness I needed to give this restaurant an opportunity before I decided whether it appealed to me or not. As I approached the restaurant at noon I noticed the parking lot was overly congested. Two surrounding businesses on each side ( the restaurant at the centre) had other customers as well. This parking lot is a recipe for a disaster as vehicles are parked so close together that it is inevitable that someone will eventually run into you. My advice bring an old car. I ordered a cheeseburger combo which incidentally happened to be the lowest grade beef patty on the commercial market. The tea was super sweet ( instant tea lol ) I could not possibly drink it so I requested unsweetened tea. The waitress came back with a sweet tea again! I politely informed the other waitress what I wanted. 15 minutes later they come out and tell me there is no ice.Well by this time I just about gave up 2 hours later and I come to a harsh reality that my lunch time was just wasted on a bad meal and horrible customer service but what do I know I m just a customer! Lol,seriously save your money and your taste buds the reality is it s just not that good!

It was somewhat good. One thing though, not enough tables, too crowded. Either remove a couple tables, or expand the whole restaurant to have enough elbow space. Other than that, it was exceptional.

This is a go to place for me when I want cheap, authentic Mexican food without a long wait. I love their breakfast here and that a lot, if not most, of their plates are under $10. I ve gotten huevos rancheros with cubed fried potatoes and beans, their American enchiladas, their chicken flautas, and my husband has gotten their chile relleno. The waitstaff is kind and attentive but I ve only heard them speak Spanish but they seem to understand English too. I can t say I ve ever had a bad plate here, but I will admit, sometimes the rice is a bit bland. The decor itself is like an old mom and pop shop with some TVs playing Spanish channels.

I like to go because I have a very delicious lunch in that restaurant only because there is a waitress who is very inquisitive and even-tempered, her name is Mariana, the other waitresses are very good at their job. I hope Mariana composes herself, she is very picky and if you ask her for something without sugar she It assumes that one is sick, and I think that neither my wife nor the people I go with should tolerate inappropriate behavior, let him dedicate himself to his work, thank you, I hope the management resolves this problem.

Decided to try this place out since my nephews said it is a good place to get tacos. I went into the restaurant sat down and didnt take long to get my order. Its a small place and it was quite full with a couple of tables and booths. I ordered the huevo rancheros and a potato n egg taco. You have to be patient because it took like 40 minutes to get the order since there is also a drive thru window and taking orders. The waitress were kind and polite to customers. The food was okay. My total was $7 dollars with the coffee. If your in a hurry I wouldnt recommend.

Mi chula restaurant is the hidden gem of Edinburg, Tx for sure. Nothing better than a taco made fresh with hand made corn tortilla and the fluffiest eggs youve ever had! The pancakes are fluffy and delicious and the bacon is the crunchiest you have ever had. The owner is the friendliest person always giving you a smile and a unique experience. She knows you by name and always glad to see you. This is the best breakfast you will ever had, and the very affordable prices are not too shabby either! The huevos rancheros were okay for the price, for 3.99 you get 2 eggs, bacon, beans and potatoes. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the salsa was tasty but the cook barely put any salsa on the eggs you can see how dry it looks.the bacon was thin and crispy, the potatoes were made fresh but tasteless, the refried beans were okay. The staff was just okay, one if our servers was slow, didnt ask to refill our coffee, took them a while to get our splenda and couldnt heat up milk for the coffee. The inside of the place looks old and very crowded, they wanted to sit a party of six in a 4 chair table.
