This will come as no surprise to anyone that as walked in, but its excellent. Every burger is amazing, super juicy and well made - the wagyu burger is almost too much, its super juicy and you really cannot even pick it up, but thats fine, use a fork and knife. Onion rings are great, fries are great, everything is solid, staff is very nice.

Wouldnt recommend. Food came out cold, there was basically no one in the store at like 5:45, cold food should not be an issue. Its also a restaurant with no wait staff other than when you order the food and they wanted a 28% tip to type in the food order.

All food was great except for the sandwich Greek to me the flatbed was cardboard ruin the sandwich. The service terrible, they re very confused about how to take beers off a menu when not in stock. Came by twice before 4th of July (2023) and had an awesome and modified Hangover Burger both times! They were both delicious and exclusive to the holidays! The staff and management are/were friendly, awesome and kind! You can tell when you have a great and awesome management team cause the staff members are smiling and have a little bit of a pep in their step. The atmosphere is nice as well! Nicely lit, indoor and outdoor seating, has a nice bar area and a mix of seating variety. Please keep up the excellent work and keep being the best team and individuals that you all can be! A few weeks ago, my wife and I went to Grub burger because we had not eaten here in a few years. Prior to arriving we checked if they have gluten free buns due to my wife gluten allergy. So, we ordered burgers with her order asking for a gluten free bun. Once the order was received and she had taken a bite, I noticed that her bun looked a lot like mine. I told my wife to stop eating and checked with the waitress to see if her bun was a regular bun. She verified the bun was a regular bun and not gluten free. The concerning part is that she seemed not to know about gluten allergy. So, the kitchen messed up on the allergy order and the waitress did not even know about the allergy... This is concerning because, even though my wifes allergy is a slight allergy, what would have happened if it was someone with celiac disease. The management needs to train their employees to handling allergy situations better. She did change the bun and comped me the burger (only because I asked). Besides that, in my honest opinion, the burger was mid at best and there are better burgers in Bryan like Chubbys. Dietary restrictions: Gluten Allergy

Went here today for something different and boy was it different. I ordered a burger called the legend and an order of onion rings. My wife ordered buffalo Mac and cheese. It was just okay, nothing special she said it was Meh. Now to my so called hamburger and onion rings. This legend burger was anything but a burger. It has to be the worst tasting hamburger I ve ever put in my mouth. The onion rings didn t even taste like an onion ring. The onion was cocked to perfection with a great breading on it, but zero flavor. This was the first time going here and it will be our last time. There was nothing about this place that was gourmet. $35.00+ tip for 1-drink, 1-order of onion rings, and Buffalo Mac and cheese, and a burger that wasn t fit to eat!

Used to come here all the time when I was in college. Food and prices were great, especially for those in a college budget. Came back when visiting and was severely disappointed. Cashiers were insanely slow and seemed like they did not know where the buttons were, burgers are almost $15 without fries, and the burger itself seemed to have shrunk over the years. Taste is still there but nowhere near the quantity and quality that originally put this place on the map. Not surprised all the Houston locations folded so quickly.

The food quality was fantastic, couldve used a little more seasoning but it was great. The way they get you is when you see the prices, however the sandwich come with no sides with are an extra five making it a decently expensive meal. Nice looking place. I ordered online but it did not go through, they tried to get me to pay again at the store and I refused, my money is already gone I m not paying it again. Eventually someone comped the food and I will be expecting a refund. I got the wild caught salmon and kitchen sink shake. Salmon was dry, and flavorless and the shake I had to throw out because it tasted like straight up salt, like no ice cream and hardly any chocolate or caramel flavors. This food is low quality and well over priced. Will not be eating here again.

My family and I decided to try this place for burgers and fries because we were hungry for dinner. We picked the Cadillac Wagyu burgers with fries/fried onions, Voodoo Mushroom burger with sweet potato fries, California Chicken Sandwich with fries, and Mac n Cheese burger with fries. The options we picked for dinner are all very delicious and satisfying! The interior of the place is modern and decent. Grub attempts to be different for all the wrong reasons and why the chain is now reduced to this final / few locations. It is a failure as a chain. Update after 7th and Final visit - Food made me sick last visit. Do not accept cash - forced to use a credit card - forced to tip or not tip before you get your food - forced to use a public touch screen and put your hands on it before you eat - so you are forced to go wash your hands before eating. I hate ordering at this restaurant like really really hate it. Until this last visit I always tipped when I paid but realized this system makes no sense to me had to think about why I hate it. It is a bad system for many reasons that costs the staff money. I will not return to this restaurant but if I did I would tip in cash after the service. My view of tipping is my relationship with the person who waited on me, this system ruins that as I dont know where the money is going. The cashier that pressed a few buttons? What if they screw up your food on purpose because you didnt tip enough? You are forced to do something you dont want to do before you want to do it. I love tipping big for great service to inform the person that did the work they did a great job! Burgers were all prepared exactly as I wanted. The cheese fires are great but it is a two person appetizer so I cant order it anymore it. For reference it ends up being a 22 dollar lunch before tip. Kitchen is hidden in the back. Easy parking - open free parking lot - almost nobody in the restaurant 50% of the time - I am alone or one other person is eating. I time my visit to avoid the crowd always works. Out of 7 visits I had only had one person in front of me in line. Good bye Grub!

Originally delicious, order correct as requested, ready on time. HOWEVER, service quality declined. Bad follow-thru on orders missing cheese, for example. Side orders received COLD. ONCE ESTABLISHED, quality diminishes. Your employees have no work ethic they are indifferent. Dinner time is hurried, so food is slapped together and sent on down the assembly line. I m not a huge burger fan. Usually burgers for me is chicken, turkey, or the beyond burger Patties. If you re like me in that regard, you re in luck! This place has a turkey burger and a beyond burger option! I had the turkey burger but got the bacon removed, it was really delicious. I loved how they toasted the burger buns. My only complaint was that the burger was a bit dry. Shared cheese fries for the table: a great choice! I ate the fries underneath that weren t covered in the bacon or cheese and was really happy with the garlic fries themselves. The jalapeño ranch(?) white sauce that came with the fries was so so good I used that for my turkey burger too! The mac and cheese burger my partner got was very messy but he said it was pretty good.

Was in the mood for a burger, and gbb was the only non fast food place open after 9p. Based on an online recommendation naming gbb one of the best burger places in town, tbh I was underwhelmed. Burgers were great as always. No one makes a better turkey burger. Ordered the split decision side with sweet potatoes and onion rings. This used to be a side served on its own plate that was enough for two people to share. Today, the side came out on the plate with one of our burgers. The portion was pitifully small. We got three very small onion rings and less than 20 fries. It was unacceptable for the $4.50 that it cost. Also, every table has a hang tag (photo attached) with a QR code that says give feedback to redeem a free side. I filled out the survey only to be told that the restaurant doesn t honor this reward anymore. I specifically asked if we just had to come back for a different visit and was told they don t do the free side at all. These tags should be taken off of the tables if the restaurant isn t going to honor the offer.

Third time Ive been here, third strike out on food. Wife and I both got burgers. Both were small and very dried out. McDonalds would have been more flavor and cheaper. Got loaded fries. Decent pricing for and above average burger. The fries are tasty but Im going to race about the Dr. Pepper barbeque sauce. That should be a dip on the side, not just on my burger. We had been drinking for 6 hours and this stop was the best food of the weekend and it is going to be regular stop when Im in College Station!

Weve been for the burgers and sweet potato fries before, but tried the roasted brussel sprouts this time. They were delicious! Just the right texture (not too firm, not too mushy), seasoned so well in balsamic and salt. Glad to see it on the menu!

What a great chicken sandwich! It was the OG Chicken Sandwich with buffalo sauce and dusted with Cajun seasoning. The other was the Mac n cheeseburger and was okay (rated by my daughter). She said the Mac could use a little more flavor but the E.T. milkshake was very good.

I heard a lot of people saying how great this place was, to be honest there are much better burger places in town. I went twice because the first one I tried was the Mac and cheese burger, mainly cuz I never had one. Super heavy and dry, I dont recommend, but hey gotta try something once. Went again, got a basic bacon burger, again dry and really not that great. On a positive note though the queso and sweet potato fries are awesome. So go have a beer and some queso and you will be happy.

Stopped here by chance on the way home from a volleyball tournament. Best choice!!!! I ordered the Scorpion burger, but added sliced avocados . Super good with a little spiciness. My husband ordered the Quacapotle which he said was the best burger hes ever had. Both of us had sweet potato fries that were nice and crispy. My husband also ordered a Smoky Margarita... OMG. It was amazingly good. In total lunch came to about $40 but it was worth it. The manager came by to check in on us and was super friendly. Space reminds you of hopdoddys which apparently is affiliated. Enjoy my foodie friends. I would definitely recommend...

My wife and I arrived with a large party, they sat all of us quickly and took our orders quickly. The staff was energetic and extremely friendly. The quality of the ingredients was amazing. Really liked the buns, they had no sesame seeds:o the burger had a lot of flavor and was not very greasy. The fries were high quality too. Overall, would go again.

Went here for the first time and ordered a frozen margarita and a burger. I ordered my margarita as strawberry (at extra cost) and it came out not mixed at all. The front counter woman asked if I wanted a spoon to stir it myself. They also double checked that I didn t want lettuce, and that I wanted tomato instead and I said yes no lettuce only tomato there was lettuce and no tomato. I very nicely told the man that it was wrong and he looked annoyed and took it to the back where they picked off the lettuce. Still with no tomato. I felt unwelcome and felt like a burden for asking for my food to be fixed. Very disappointed for a first experience. The burgers where cooked nicely though. Parking: Plenty of parking.
