Great park! Horrible location! The smell from the sewer plant is so nasty! Playground: Nice shaded play area for children Dog-friendliness: Dog yard for small pets. Large separate yard for larger dogs. Training area with equipment. Water source in both yards. Picnic area: Just metal picnic tables. Not very nice to eat at, considering that it is next to sewage plant

I love this dog park! Great shade, seating, and space for the dogs to run around and explore. Only thing I would improve is that the water is always pretty nasty . Playground: Nice little playground just outside the dog park. Fun doggy playground inside of it. Picnic area: A few picnic tables inside the dog park; Ive eaten there a few times, but be aware of the dogs!

Loved this place. It is a halfway point from our house and daughters school so we bring up the doggies and let them play and hang out with her. Playground: Cute little play ground for kids with a slide and swings Dog-friendliness: Fun dog park that separates little and big dogs. They have pond and obstacle/agility places for the dogs. Picnic area: Little tiny picnic area in the main section and then other picnic places in the dog sections.

Kassie s favorite park in town. She knows as soon as we turn on Spring Loop, that s where we re headed and gets so happy! Only complaint is that in our 5 years of going, the water fountains have never worked. Dog-friendliness: Separate areas for large and small dogs. Agility equipment available. Wish they would repair the water fountain though. Picnic area: Benches and tables available.

This was the park that completely changed my dog. I thought this dog park was amazing with all of its features but on the third visit, my dog had the worst experience that changed her willingness to make furry friends. She loved to run with the other dogs and she enjoys sprinting. One day there was a man with two large dogs who would NOT stop chasing and aggressively growling at my dog. She thought it was an innocent game of chase but then learned she was running for her safety. She ran straight to us after she was clearly exhausted of running away from these two aggressive dogs and we picked her up immediately. Before she ran to us, we were trying to get a moment to grab her and pick her up ourselves. I yelled at the owner to get his dogs and he said oh they re just playing. I said UHM NO. You re dogs are clearly growling and showing signs of aggression! Then he just laughed it off and tried to whistle to get their attention and of course it didn t work! Now our dog absolutely hates this park and doesn t even want to get out of the car for walks around the park. I was trying to slowly reintroduce her in hopes that she d forget about it but nope. Every single time after this encounter she absolutely hated walking near the park and now does not take kindly to making furry friends. It breaks my heart because she was such a social butterfly at 1 and half year s old. The people here don t watch their dogs and don t even know their dogs well enough to look out for warning signs. We always keep a close eye not just for our dog s safety but other dog s. She also ended up getting a bladder infection from the stagnant water. If you do go here keep a very close eye on your dog and other dogs. If you see just one dog acting aggressive, get yours out of there.

Great park for both small and large dogs. The park has 2 areas for dogs to play. Lots of trees. Dogs get to run and enjoy a large area with a small water pond in each of the areas. Nice parking . The parking area is located in front of a water treatment area so area smells unpleasant sometimes. There is a water hose by park entrance to use . Good place to take an active dog or a puppy.

I took my dog to this dog park and loved the amount of space they had to roam and the option to separate yourself from the dogs who are smaller (and vice versa). However, I had my baby with me in his stroller and it was very difficult to push it as their really isn t a path, just a rocky pathway. They need to update it to allow those with strollers or who may be handicapped to have a safer path. There was some trash and I didn t like how the grass was overgrown a bit, this will attract more snakes so I wish they would keep up with it more. Otherwise, it was a very nice park.

The dogs are typically friendly, its a good place to let my dog be a dog and get some socialization time. There are always toys, tennis balls, and sticks lying around to throw for the dogs, a fair amount of seating, shade, and a pond for the pups to cool off in. Be sure to know your dogs temperament with others and set your own dog up for success. The park is typically crazy busy on weekends, and quieter during the morning and the work week. One major drawback is there are a lot of young adults who are too busy socializing to watch their dogs, and Ive seen a fair amount of preventable fights break out. There are also venomous snakes and snapping turtles, so be sure to keep an eye on your pup, especially if theyre crawling through bushes and in the water.

We avoided the scary thought of him getting into a dogfight when we were able to go to a separate park next to the other Park they had the park separated it was cool so he got to play and check out the other dogs through a fence I was so relieved and he was a really good dog with the other dogs I know I did he would be Im glad he is were coming back again and again

Good in the morning when its hot, trees give shade. Bring your own drinking water, the fountains dont work. Large size area for the largest of dogs! There is a nice pool of water for your pets to swim in so bring a towel to dry them off!

Lots of folk at this park evening time watching their dogs play, just some input a couple more benches would be nice, doggy pool should be cleaned more often, surrounding areas could used for activilties if they were clean out rid of that muddy swamp area and that brush gone.

Often flooded and muddy, it offers shade and a very dirty puddle of water for your dogs to cool off. During the cooler months I would recommend the Booneville dog park about 2-3 miles further down the road.
