If you want to make wine, beer, or any other sort of home brew, and if you live within 50 miles of College Station, this is the place for you to get supplies and brewing advice. Owner is very nice. Store was in process of moving to location that Google Maps says it is, but owner went out of his way to get me a $5 item I needed. Will find excuses to do business with him again! Had not bought brewing supplies locally, but my last 14 years of business ordering and in store purchases with Austin Homebrew went down toilet recently after they were bought out.

I am so thankful that I got a sourdough starter from Kristi at Brew Supply Haus. The starter woke up at the first feeding and has been going great ever since. I found Hodgson Mills whole grain rye flour at Brookshires so I split the starter and now have one regular and one rye. Kristis starter REALLY likes the rye flour. I dont care if the supermarket has bread or not!

Attended a class, Honey 101 - Beyond Food at the Brew Supply Haus in College Station last night. Made a honey body scrub, honey cough syrup, fermented honey garlic, and fermented cranberries. It was an awesome informative hands-on creative evening. Looking forward to the next class.

This place is INCREDIBLE! The owners customer service is top notch. I pulled in today, realized I was there outside of their normal business hours and started backing up to leave.. only to have one of the owners greet me at the car to ask what I need and if they can help. They were working on the store and invited me in to shop and chat. Super friendly, great selection, great prices, knowledgeable and eager to help... what more can you ask for!? Reviews from a few months ago were raving about this place, but calling this a small shop. Not the case anymore. During our chat, I found out they recently took over the 2 retail spaces next to them and have tripled the size of their space. Ill be going here for all my brewing needs.

I stopped to purchase 5 more airlocks of the type we have learned to use for fermenting sauerkraut, and other vegetables. After mixed results trying to make sauerkraut the traditional way, these airlocks make the process easy, and so far foolproof. Jason has a display of the an airlock on a Mason-type jar. Testing our fermenting products has done wonders for my plumbing after years of IBS. They have some excellent resources for learning.

Jason was absolutely awesome. Im new to brewing and he was very polite and helped me pick out a recipe to make and even said to reach out to him if I had any questions or needed anything. It is a small store but they have everything you need. I was a bit nervous because most items do not have a listed price, but it was really affordable, I only spent like $20 for enough stuff to make 5 gallons of beer! I looked some of the items I got up on Amazon at home and it was really close, plus you get friendly service and advice. I will definitely visit again.

I used to use AHS for all my homebrew supplies, but Ive decided to exclusively use Brew Supply Haus for several reasons. The most important reason is the quality of the crush. My efficiencies increased by 10-15% after switching shops because BSH crushes the grains so much better than any other homebrew shop Ive used. Customer service is exceptional here as well. I compared prices on several items and the total cost of my order ends up cheaper here since I dont have to pay for shipping. The selection and quality of the ingredients is very good. Its a small operation so if you plan ahead, I recommend emailing the owner your order and hell let you know when its ready. The email address is on the website. Its great to have a local homebrew shop, especially one as good as BSH.

Fantastic store. Came in on the Fourth of July (they were still open even for the holiday) as a first time home brewer and was able to get everything I needed, in and out. The staff was very helpful and explained what each piece of equipment was and why I need it, etc. Prices were great too, ended up spending about half of what I thought itd take. Absolutely recommend this store to anyone interested in home brewing in the BCS area!

If you ve ever tossed around the idea of making your own house wine or beer, it can be a little mysterious at first. With Brew Supply Haus you have both a supplier and experienced brewer to help you start up a very rewarding hobby. Competitive prices and great selection make this comparable to Amazon..but way more value here because you can handle actual ingredients/supplies, get advice, and be inspired to try new projects as you browse the inventory. Service is very friendly and knowledgeable. They are now expanding and plan to offer classes. I will be coming back, and I will recommend to my friends.
