They work so hard here. The gardens are imaginative and educational with some great exhibits. Great place to take your kid (and bike), the bike path is right next to the gardens.

This is a hidden gem located inside the university. Lots of space to sit and enjoy the fresh air in the gardens. Its an excellent site to have a picnic. There are multiple areas to get that perfect photo for people wanting to have a photoshoot. Lots of open spaces to have little children explore different flowers. They have small information tabs on every plant that gives a good description and information on the plant. Most spaces are wheelchair accessible. There is a public bathroom.

One of our favorite places to visit and take a walk. The garden is relatively new, each time we visit we enjoy seeing how much specimen trees and plants have grown.

PARKING IS TERRIBLE!!!! I love this place, but the parking situation makes it hardly worth it. I have driven around for 30 minutes to find a parking space when school is in session. This summer, I was visiting with my grandmother and 3 year old son and the parking lot was EMPTY except for our vehicle which was in a timed parking space. We overstayed our 60 minute time allotment by ~20 minutes (why not, clearly no one was waiting....) and received a $35 citation. I am hesitant to return. Aggies dont steal and this feels a lot like theft.

Well landscaped area. Theres so much to see here while you are on the Texas A & M campus. Stroll through the garden, sit a while and enjoy the tranquil streams. Look at the birds through the lookout wall as not to disturb them in their environment. What a novel idea to enjoy natures beauty at its best! You should also venture over to the Bush gardens while on campus. Enjoy the reflective pond. There are benches to sit, rest, and take in all of the beauty displayed here.

The morning spent visiting the Leach Teaching Gardens was very amazing, and the best part is the gardens were set up so that you and I, common folks can replicate gardens in our own backyards. Your garden does not have to be big, it just needs to be present! Each garden is set up as a separate teachable moment so a visitor can take in as much or as little as they wish. I highly recommend. And there are rentable spaces available (The Pavilion and outdoor teaching area) which can be rented. The Pavilion is beautiful, lined with Douglas Fir and disappearing sliding door. . The location on the Texas A&M university campus makes this the ideal spot for a gathering.
