Maybe Im just spoiled on the Barnes & Nobles in the greater Austin area, but this location was incredibly disappointing. I suppose if you only like Colleen Hoover, the same fantasy books that always rotate on tiktok, and books about religion, then youre in the perfect place. If you want something beyond that, then this isnt the place for you. No banned books, not many books about other cultures or religions outside of Christianity, etc.

My son had a gift card and we went to our local store in college station and the guy whom helped us was very nice. He helped us find some books and then told us how to special order a few books. The store was clean and well organized.

Beautiful and well organized bookshop! Here and there there are chairs available to the customer. You can sit down and consult a book. Plus, the childrens department looks like a movie set. There is a section that also sells board games! The highlight is the bar inside the Library.

The store is great, the cafe inside it is not. The lady working here around 7:00 pm on 01/28/24 gave hot quiche in a thin plastic box, which is a potential health hazard. They used to give plates for hot items but I guess she was skipping the hassle of cleaning plates at the cost of potential health threats of customers.

I had a reserved book that i went to pick up. Looked around and the store is clean, very helpful people and a coffee house inside their location with good things to eat also. The stock of books and other goodies was very decent. Picked up my reserved item, a few extras and had a nice afternoon coffee and dessert.

I went looking for a book called With. They didnt have it, but I could order it. I browsed around a bit and found some blank books and a bookmark. Tyler working at the cafe needs adjustment! He was extremely rude to every customer in front of me and my friends! Got my name wrong and rolled his eyes when we asked for straws! They decided to showcase a lot of weird, demon-related books in the entrance... dark magic, tarot, spells, etc. We hustled the little ones through there, Then it seemed there was a lot of weird books in their center isle too. When my husband got in and found us, he said we need to get out of here. 2 of the 3 girls just wanted to leave so we bought them nothing and left for another store. Is this typical for Barnes and noble now?

Visiting from Houston, this store is clean & the staff is friendly! Kids love going to any & all B&N stores so we stopped in & they had a ton of holiday gifts available for those that love reading. Many of the childrens books were on sale as well. Definitely stop in if youre passing by! Plus a Starbucks inside, and at checkout we got a $1 off our Starbucks purchase, not much but still something!

Im a regular here! They always have a coupon for the cafe if you buy anything at the store. Theres all kinds of books and educational toys/games/crafts. The staff is friendly and helpful, but they dont watch you like some places. Theyve been giving lots of free cafe samples lately, they often take fun book themed polls like best book couples or what classes youd sign up for at hogwarts etc. And any book they dont have in-store theyll order for you with free shipping.
