I went to this bar for my friends 21st birthday and a bartender with brown hair denied us drinks because she determined that one of our friends that wasnt drinking was to drunk and she didnt serve the 7 other people that were trying to get a drink, overall it left a nasty taste in my mouth and its not worth it. For a person getting to make you feel that bad for something you didnt do really makes the place sour. I Def do not recomend this bar and I hope they replace her not just because of this interaction but because before she knew that so called person she denied was our friend she kept serving us. but as soon as she found out we were friends with this person she completely denied us drinks and that was not fair. if you like that bully kind of environment go to this bar but if you want something nice go somewhere else trust me this bar isnt worth it.

we went in on my 21st birthday at 1:45, some girl was very rude pulling out trash cans. She screamed at us to get out and continued saying get out . i just wanted a shot. i understand you wanna go home. lock the door then. i work in the service industry, that is NO WAY you talk to customers. she could ve easily said hey we are closed and we could ve left.

Duddley s is extremely unique on northgate. A real dive bar where anyone looking for a relaxed night is welcome. It s typical to see punks drinking with cowboys or phd students playing pool with auto mechanics. The drinks are cheap, pool is free, and regulars are friendly. The music is by far the best on northgate if you re looking for anything outside the normal club or country fare.

After dinner, went down to Duddleys Draw to enjoy some drinks with friends. This is a true college bar and enjoyed being there on Halloween weekend with all the costumes. The best thing about this bar was the college bar pricing! One of the friends went to school at A&M and was glad to see this bar still around with the same atmosphere.

Dingy dive bar that is unsafe. Went here with my family for lunch after a recent football game. My brother in law left with a gashed leg after a drunken guest either threw or knocked over a glass that shattered into his leg as we were passing by. Management was unwilling to help at all - not even bring out a first aid kit. Could have at least offered to pay for the resulting stitches. They did continue to serve the lady beer and food though. Just glad it wasn t my 5 year old who caught the glass shards. He was about 3 ft away.

Me and my buddy have been going to duds for awhile to play pool. I walked up to Chloe and politely asked her for a pitcher of beer. She asked us for our I.D.s which we immediately handed to her. She then came back and said that both our I.Ds were fake even though they were our actual government issued I.Ds. First, she said we can call the patrol to verify so I said ok bring them down. She then proceeded to say nevermind that she wasnt calling the patrol. She then proceeded to be hostile towards us when we tried to show her multiple other forms of identification. We then found out she was the general manager. Your general manager should be able to tell whether I.Ds are actually fake and if they have the holographic picture on them they are obviously real. I have Never been so embarrassed and outraged in my life.

Apparently the rule there is that you can t put your head down or else you ll get kicked out. My friend who was visiting got tired at the bar at 1am and they kicked her out and were so rude to us. They have arcade games too but you can t hear the games over the lame music. Yea I m good not to come here ever again.

Was told to check this place out...supposedly had great burgers. Unfortunately, that was NOT the case. We got the bogo burgers so we could try a couple different ones. They were both terrible! The meat tasted like it was going bad, but hopefully it was just the taste of a dirty grill or something. They carry Boot brand sodas, so that was different. Will be sure to stay away from this place.

I have absolutely loved Duddley s and even spent my past two birthdays at said place, but have since been turned away by an amateur bartender and lazy manager (who refused to even look at an ID). I have enjoyed this bar for its mature atmosphere in a college town, but have been refused service for no valid reason. The manager, Greg, handled the situation very rudely and stand-offish to avoid any kind of conversation. I will cease recommendations for recent poor and flat-out rude service.

Despite my love for Duddleys Bar, Im leaving a one star review for how miserable the customer service is handled and how terrible of an attitude the manager has. Its terrible for business. Im a little disappointed to have to write this review, but it may be useful to anyone else who ranges from the ages 21-25. Duddleys has a bartender (Holly) and a manager (Greg) who are very quick to deny anyones ID if the bartender does not believe that the ID feels right, despite the fact that it is indeed a real ID. If you ask for the managers second opinion, he will resort to a simple 4 words, my bartender said no. If you try to have a discussion with the manager, hell dissolve the conversation into an argument without resolve. I tried calling the bar for a better explanation as to why my ID was denied than it just doesnt feel right and Greg promptly hung up with tremendous attitude after a pointless and immature argument on his part upon my request. This is the first negative review I have ever written, and I only feel the need to because I really do love Duddleys. I enjoy its atmosphere a lot and regularly go, so I was shocked to be rejected so aggressively this last time. I most likely will not be back, or recommend it to any friends.

Dudleys Draw hasnt changed much in 30 years. Still a fun place to grab a beer and play dominoes. Less packed than Dixie Chicken, and slightly more fun. Fair selection on tap, games available. Parking is always a drag, just pay the meter and be done with it.

Weve enjoyed Duddleys for over 30 years but hadnt been since the parking changed. Enjoyed the friendly people & got to play pool with the grandkids during Spring Break. The only problem is w/ parking. Daylight savings had just taken effect.( Be sure to feed meter Mon-Thur after 2pm).Didnt feel late. They watch VERY closely. We were heartsick when our granddaughter ran out & said look we got a $30 coupon. Nope( not a coupon) our daughter got a $30 ticket( 3 minutes late). Watch .

I leave negative stars. Came here to watch the game and get some nachos... rude, slow service, the nachos were burnt (both orders), most of them had zero cheese on them. When we asked for napkins- the guy bringing our food acted like he has no idea what they were. We are sharing finger food... seems to be a normal thing. Also, the bar tender (blonde girl) was unspeakably rude when my niece asked for a refill on her Dr. Pepper... she didn t know the sodas were self serve- she had never been here before! No need to be super rude, and roll your eyes and act like it was an abject burden to refill a soda! Asked for a cloth to clean a sticky table (it happens) myself- and just got a snotty look. Never got a cloth. Only came here because the Dixie Chicken didn t have a lot of open tables and it was easier to find one here- now I see why! Really put a damper on our day.
