Big box. Good prices if you know what other stores charge for things, you can get good deals. Of course you have to buy in bulk. Use their pharmacy, usually spot on. Text when script is ready. Really great deals on prescription glasses. You can order stuff online. Great deals. Bought leather loveseat recliner for great price online and delivered a few yrs ago - still in great shape.

Checkout is a nightmare cattle call. Accepting only visa now is just an annoyance and I will not get another cc just for costco. This makes my trips much less frequent than when they took amex. I take cash and if I dont have enough cash I start removing items. Update May, 2023: Costco has implemented self checkout but what it really means is the self checkout assistant checks you out without taking item out of the cart. Moving these bulk items to the counter then back to cart is an unnecessary step. This has made checking out faster and more efficient than ever. They should get rid of the normal checkout where the line is still tremendous. I don t know why people still wait. I guess they don t realize the self check really is not self checkout. I show my card to scan then go to pay and within 1 minute or less I am walking to door. Costco needs to implement scan and go and bypass the checkout.

To the worker who told me to take items from the pallet on the floor while I was contemplating whether I wanted that item....do so in a more respectful way. Dont tell me take it from the bottom pallet with an ugly face. Use more tact and say would you mind taking it from the bottom pallet? I would have happily complied. I dont know what the deal is with the location on 1431, but they had checkout lines that spanned the entire length of the store! I left, then stopped at the Georgetown location, which is closer to home. I was able to get in and out fairly quickly (relative on dodging people unfamiliar with shopping around others, and the entitled ones). Some of the self-check attendants are rude no matter when you go, so I can only conclude its an overall percentage, but when you get a friendly, helpful one, you can get through without feeling bad about the company.

From the very beginning, my experience at this Costco has been nothing short of frustrating. When I first attempted to purchase a basic membership, the woman at the membership counter an older white woman named Heather, if I recall correctly pushed aggressively for me to buy the higher-cost membership, citing cash-back benefits. While that might be beneficial for someone who spends most of their money at Costco, it was not the case for me. Despite my repeated insistence that I only wanted the basic membership, she called over the manager, who continued to push the more expensive option. They were so persistent that I eventually caved in just to escape the situation, only to have to return later to downgrade. It was a complete inconvenience, and Ive seen her make other customers feel the same way. If you plan to purchase a membership, avoid her at all costs if you want to get what you actually need. But the issues dont end there. Like most Costcos, this location is always busy and crowded, but some of the workers here are incredibly rude and seem downright miserable. During a recent trip, I was using self-checkout when a worker scanned my membership and items for me, only to stand over me and make a fuss about the fact that I was paying with my company card. I, THE PERSON ON THE MEMBERSHIP WAS THE ONE SHOPPING AND PAYING, BUT IT DOESNT MATTER APPARENTLY- It felt like unnecessary harassment over a non-issue. All in all, this Costco location has been nothing but a headache. The high-pressure tactics, combined with rude and unhelpful staff, make the entire experience unpleasant. If you have the option, I would recommend Sams Club instead the workers, vibe, and even the food are far better there. Dont waste your time here unless you absolutely have to.

Great Warehouse. Impossible conditions and logistics. There re doing their best, but I wouldn t wish visiting this place on a Saturday on my worst enemy. Parking lot is tight, everyone brings their entire family (Costco as an outing?), and the checkout line stretches to the back of the store. Go to the new one in Georgetown. It s the same physical size but everyone in Cedar Park isn t there simultaneously.

Im not ashamed to admit I love Costco! The one in Cedar Park is closest to me, though its still a trip to get there from my place. Im a wearer of hearing aids, and I recommend Ryan to help you find the right pair, then fit and adjust yours to your needs. Always pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional, he takes the time necessary to do the job right. The store, in general, is well staffed by friendly and helpful people and kept clean and organized in spite of the crowds constantly milling through. Volume buying for overall savings. Hard to beat prices on paper products like paper towels and toilet paper. You can also buy gold bullion! About 2% over spot. Other buys and deals that youll regret having bought somewhere else when you see the product and price.. Inventory isnt always static.. Meaning a favorite product may become unavailable then make a return. But most items especially anything in their Kirkland line can be reliably counted on. Their meat selections will especially get your attention and fill your freezer.. One of my seasonal favorites comes in fall and is found near their meat section: Costcos ready to bake chicken pot pie... Definitely worth the membership, a $60 version and $120. Different values between the two memberships.

I wish Costco opened early especially in these hot days . 5/25/24 The Hispanic/Latino lady with a hairband who stocks clothes out of boxes in clothing section was very rude on Saturday morning . Returning a shirt bought on 12/25/22 with receipt with tags and he says that he can t take the return because it is 5 months ago from last years , math says it is less than 3 month and there is no such rule anyway . 1/27/2023 The lady at returns was very condescending and was not being cordial while I was returning . I even had receipts but she did not even respond to my thank you . She was a 2023 employee and still rude . She made eye contact but no smile . I wish there was another Costco in CP, would rather go elsewhere 11/3/2022 Rude employee Bri with returns . This lady Bri was very rude and went on to say that they have all my receipts and accused me of returning for more price than what I got it for , how is that possible at Costco if they have all my receipts . Really do not love that they leave the cards (for expensive items in the back) to scan, and pay to pick up from the desk to then find out the item is out of stock. We made a purchase with the poster card they put out to grab and bring to the cashier. We even paid for it. And then had to get a refund that the lady couldn t tell me how long would take. I wish Costco would make it so their Point of Sales system could show that they don t have the item in stock. Or offer to check before taking someone s money.
