The receptionist, nurse and the provider all very welcoming. The receptionist was really considerate I told her I didn t had insurance but have applied for one, which would be effective from October 1. So she went ahead and checked for the insurance, if that can be used. But unfortunately it can be used by 1st only. She had been really very helpful.

Im only giving this 3 stars for the crap way I had to pay my bill, but the doctor/PA was EXCELLENT and very helpful. Apparently, Anthem BCBS is closed on Sundays - and so is their whole system. Insurance validation and all. And Anthem is going to hear about this too, its ridiculous their system cant validate a damned valid member. Therefore, they could not validate my insurance, DESPITE my husband had brought in our daughter previously under the same ID. And they apparently CANT look in her visit history to CONFIRM that the insurance had previously been validated and used with a copay. And God-forbid they bill you, or hold off the charge until Monday to validate the insurance call to collect the copay. Im not going to skip out on a damned $50 copay. Therefore, I had to pay $150 that day that I wasnt prepared to part with. Which will take me at least 8 to be reimbursed. Thats OK, its the LAST time we will need that place, my daughter turns 18 soon.

Was able to get my son seen quickly after he fell off his scooter. They did x-rays and discovered he broke it. Put a splint and a sling on and gave me instructions to see an orthopedic doctor. Overall very pleased with the level of care

It was great finding an urgent care for kids that was open on the weekends! It seems that kids only get sick outside of weekday hours. Everything went smooth and my son was able to get some much needed antibiotics and a treatment plan in place! The only reason I m giving 4 stars is because the wait time was still incredibly long which can feel like forever when you have a sick toddler. It might be beneficial for them to have more than one provider serving patients on the weekends. We ll definitely come back if we ever need to.

Excellent care! My daughter, the patient, felt valued, thoroughly examined, and when the NP told her that she was safe & would be ok, she said she hadn t realized how scared she was and it has a huge relief to hear that. She said it caught her off guard and she was surprised that she had to hold back tears at hearing that. Great read on that, Doc! That was exactly what she needed to hear. Thank you for finding the right words to make her feel ok.

I had written a very positive review about 2 years ago which you can find at the bottom of this comment as I couldn t write another review. I came to write as it was very hard this time ! My son was seen @Urgentcare kids, cedar park on a Saturday.I imagine there was quite a bit of people coming, however I had booked the appointment on Solv app the previous night for Saturday at 11:24am,knowing my son needs to be seen. We arrived on time and check in process both online + in-person were completed. However, after about 20 mins of waiting in the reception I checked with them how soon would be our turn. We were told that it would be atleast 1pm to be assigned a room as there are 6 patients ahead of us! My question: 1. Then why was an appointment given? 2. If it were to be that late, shouldn t they have the courtesy to let me know before we started saving us the time of waiting with a kid ! By the time we were seen by a doctors it was 1:30pm ! We hadn t eaten our lunch !! And then test results, instructions and signing us out took us till 2:15 pm! Only good thing out of all the trouble is the doctor was thorough and she did a wonderful job. But I do feel the front office can manage the wait time for people better given we have technology to communicate in keeping us informed. (Following was my review 2 years ago - Easy to book appointments in Solv app and breezy checking in upon arrival. Little or no wait times!! That s the best part as kids don t get restless if you have already booked an appointment through the app. Covid test is done and results given in 15 mins ! So you will know one way or the other when the doc arrives to check and give the report. Couldn t be any easier in managing the whole process.)

I would like to begin by saying I have never written a negative review but here is my first. I brought my son in with an injury at 4:01pm on Sunday June 2nd. My wife found out online they were open until 5:00pm and had 2 patients that were waiting. When I walked in I was asked if I had an appointment to which I replied no. The woman at the counter replied we have 2 people waiting and it will be a long time before you see a doctor. I asked how long and she replied at least and hour so I said that will be fine. She than stated that they closed at 5:00 and most likely not see a doctor before they closed. My greatest disapointment was her attitude of us being a disturbance to her day. I know that great customer service is not as prevalent as in the past. It now seems we have arrived at a place where the staff being rude and that they are doing you a favor by helping you is now the norm. This was my experience today at Urgent Care for Kids, all while trying to get help for my son. I hope they were able to close on-time.

We recently visited the hospital. Systems are down. Waited 1.5 hours to see the urgetcare doctor after finishing the paperwork. There is no wait line or no order of the service. Expressed the urgency to the staff and told that there is no order being followed. Only one doctor working and im told it is a nightmare to handle weekend visits. I expressed the concern to the doctor and she told that she is the only person taking care of patients today. Also she mentioned to write a review online or talk to the staff/manager to make me feel better. Funfact 1: They charged full amount as their systems are down. Funfact 2: The order of service is not guaranteed and the staff will pick up the order of service. Funfact 3: Only one doctor available. Visit this urgent care only if the need is not urgent.

I am not one to ever complain, but unfortunately this visit was terrible. While the staff themselves were courteous, they were beyond understaffed. We had an appointment at 2:30p but did not even get into a room until 3:48p, we did not see the nurse first for vitals etc, the NP finally came in at 4:30p asked a couple questions, did a flu test and left. 15 minutes later the nurse came in to get vitals. We did not get the test results until 5p! A 2 1/2 hour appointment is absolutely unacceptable, especially with a pre-scheduled appointment time. Also, the entire office has completely gone down hill in regards to the condition. The vents throughout are COVERED in dust, the floors, walls, etc are literally filthy. The room we were in was truly disgusting. The entire office needs a MAJOR overhaul and deep clean as the conditions are unacceptable. I have pictures to prove if needed. We haven t been in office since pre-COVID days and will absolutely not be returning which is so unfortunate because I have previously recommended your office many times but I will not be doing that going forward. Please treat your staff better and provide more staffing especially the day before a holiday. They deserve better! Also please as a medical office, do a MAJOR overhaul and cleaning!

Worst place to visit..our son tests ( strep and flu ) came negative and nurse practitioner prescribed him an antibiotic. After 4 doses of antibiotic he was still having high fever. When I called them they asked to come again. For this 2nd visit they again charged us $160. They did flu test again which came negative. Nurse practitioner came in the room and quickly checked his ears and said he has infection in both ears. According to her there was no infection 2 days back(1st visit) but now he has in both the ears which requires another antibiotic. When we asked few questions she got offended and said if you have questions go to your pediatrician. We do treatment based on evidences. We immediately went to ARC and there doctor checked his ears and found no infection. Beware of these urgent cares where nurse practitioner just diagnosis every kid with ear infection and run antibiotics if other tests are negative.They just do guess work.

Their online scheduling system is a farce. It just schedules times at 6 min intervals regardless of the clinics actual patient throughput. Came in 10 minutes before scheduled time and waited over an hour before getting seen. Staff did their best, this is a company issue that needs to get fixed.

I ve been here a couple times before and typically have had a pleasant experience. Today, the PA Gladys was fairly rude. She was in our room for maybe a minute, two minutes at most. She walked in, told me my kid tested positive for flu, and naturally I had a couple of quick questions. I asked one and she answered, then midway through my next question, she walked out of the room, pointing at the papers she gave me as she left, repeating he tested positive for the flu . She didn t turn around; She didn t apologize; she didn t excuse herself. It shocked me a bit because I was literally in the middle of a sentence. She disregarded me and it was the first time there that happened. I was happy to tell that to her face on my way out. Okay place but hope to get the right PA/Doc or it makes it a bit disappointing. The initial nurse that helped us was great though!!!!!!

We had an extremely disappointing experience visiting this urgent care with my 7 month old who had caught something while traveling. The lady at the front desk seemed unbothered and rude, gave an ipad to fill a big questionnaire. While we were told it would take 45 mins for someone to attend, It took 2 hours, all with a crying infant. Add to our surprise, we were attended by a nurse practitioner and not a doctor, which was odd to see visiting from California. Finally, a course of antibiotics for ear infection was prescribed and was advised to use saline generously as many times to suck out snort to ease breathing. We left the place dissatisfied and took our kid to a reputed urgent care the day after (which had doctors in clinic), after he had developed a severe bum rash as a side effect from anti biotics. The doctor told us that there were no signs of ear infection, but since the antibiotics were administered, it had to run its course. And we were also specifically advised not to saline snort suck more than 5 times in a day. And the doctor also advised us to apply generous diaper cream which the nurse practitioner at your urgent care failed to mention anything about when prescribing antibiotics. Overall, after being given the wrong diagnosis for my child, I felt this place was incompetent and inhumane for letting a crying infant wait for so long. I would not take my kid here ever again!

I explained the website was having issues booking for tomorrow and she said she was too busy to help shouldn t her response be like everyone else and put me on hold until she was finished. I had to ask her why I couldn t wait on hold until she was finished checking in the customer and she says fine and then put me on hold until I hung up with was 30 min. Don t think she planned on providing any help. Sure hope the doctors aren t this bad and inept at their jobs. Absolutely unreal the type of customer service. Health care level is on par with other places. Be aware that corporate booking practice makes them book appointments every 10 minutes severely overbooking staff onsite causing 1+ hour wait time even with appointments and causes them to push to see a doctor online instead (once you already there and pay the $50 copay). Its outrageous we can go to an actual ER for $100 on my plan and actually see a person.

My little one had high fever which Tylenol and motrin didn t help much. When I saw this urgent care for child and it also had online appointment I was really happy that my baby would get care soon. I reached there before my appointment time but I had to wait more than an hour to be called inside and then again i had to wait 30+ minutes to be seen by the provider. It doesn t make sense to have an appointment system if we have to wait 2 hour to be seen. The staff and provider were helpful but this long wait time despite having an appointment outweighed my expectations. I don t think I would go there again.

I will not recommend this place at all. Last weekend, I took my kid here for ear pain treatment. The Doctor done wrong diagnosis and treatment for my kid ear infection. Doctor told me it s swimmer ears , gave ear drops . After 2 days his ear pain increased and also fever shooting up to 102c , I went my kid s primary doctor for treatment. She told me it s not swimmer ears , she gave anti biotic oral medication. Generally We pay double or triple cost to these kind of urgent cares during weekends for better treatment , but they don t even know basic diagnosis and treatment

Update 2023: weve had to visit this facility several times and have had great care. Doctors, NPs, and nurses have always been attentive. Would definitely recommend. Great looking facility and everyone was incredibly polite and helpful. Im giving 3 stars because I brought my son in due to an abscessed tooth - the swelling on his face was huge. We asked the NP for antibiotics, which she gave us, but honestly she should have sent us to the ER. The next day my son was admitted to Dell due to the abscess. This place is great if your kid has the flu or a broken bone, but nothing actually serious. The interaction was great, and I wouldve given more stars, but with her knowledge the NP should have recommended the ER ASAP.

Updated review: Today, as I entered with my 3 yr old who has 104 fever, I was told I HAD to pay my $187 Drs visit before they would take me back. I have double coverage. So, I could go somewhere else or pay an ungodly amount for an exam. This is the last time we will be coming here. Also, the CASH patient after me was charged for $150 and that includes exam and most testing. Im double insured and I had to pay more? That really makes sense. Such a scam. DO NOT GO HERE. Its unfortunate that $ has to dictate where you take your sick child. Yall should be ashamed. I will be going to the media re this. Insured patients should not have to pay more. A complaint with the medical board as well. Also, our appt was at 5:40. I arrived early at 5:20. The manager let ALL the late people in and didnt even check us in. I got a notification I checked in at 5:46....when I had actually arrived at 5:20. Apparently you can be 15 minutes late for your appointment and being on time doesnt matter. Awesome. Thanks for making my feverish child wait because of your mistake. Ive been to this location multiple times. The front staff is usually decent, but not super friendly. People are bringing in sick kids that are needing care so you would think everyone would be friendly and helpful. Today I had a screaming 14 month old and walked in at 4:30. The girl asked if I checked in online, I said no because it wouldnt let me but said I could walk in. She told me to find somewhere else because they were not taking any people. I understand that closing was in 30 minutes, but I was told I could walk in. The front desk had no sympathy and was extremely cold and condescending. Horrible customer service. The website should be changed if you are not taking walk ins. I drove all the way there just to be treated poorly.

This is the first time I have been declined services as the urgent care wanted to clear some old bill. I have mentioned that my daughter is sick and I can settle the payments later but they have insisted that patient will be checked only if the bills are clear . I thought medical services come first but the front desk has mentioned that this is an urgent care and a privately owned one and if she needs services I should go to other clinic or ER or else wait till Monday until the billing department opens and we can get medical services only I after I speak to them: THIS IS VERY CRAZY as we have been to multiple hospitals , urgent cares around but this incident surprised me.

Thankful for this pediatric urgent care, I was out of town visiting a friend when my youngest child fell and hit his head before leaving town. They got us in quickly, everyone was so nice, and it is a clean facility. The bravery certificate my son got was the cutest! Thank you to LJ, Chad, Lacie, and rest of staff.

UPDATE: They were very gracious and refunded my visit. They suggested calling in advance to see if the doctor is at Round Rock or Cedar park as she is only in one location each weekend. Definitely will be doing that. Appreciate the great customer service response! Underwhelmed, they only have a PA not a doc which usually would be okay, but the PA we saw didn t know a whole lot and was reading a lot on the computer in between the two times he saw us. Also didn t seem super confident in the info he did know. Would take kids to a regular urgent care instead. Also, the nurse couldn t even figure out how to get the oxygen to read, clearly one of her first times in fact I hear her say I ve never done one of these before before she came in. Go somewhere else. Only advantage of this place is shorter wait times.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Addressed our needs and concerns. However the wait time was terrible. We arrived as a walk in at 120, and left around 5pm. If you dont make an appointment you have to wait until all the appointments are seen even though youve been waiting for an hr. A lady was there before us and she had waited 2 hrs before being seen due to walk ins taking president. The staff needs help. From what I saw there were 3 nurses and only 1 doctor. Again staff was nice and accommodating. Wait time terrible. I hope the powers that be can make staffing changes for them.

Great place to have on a Sunday when your child is running a fever and turns out she has strep throat. Staff was friendly and office was clean. There was a wait time, and you can check in online. Normal wait time for an urgent care. Happy they are open on Sunday.

We have always had good care from the doctors here, but the past 4 times we ve been in they are always on an extreme delay due to a rush of patients today . Make an appointment, wait 1-1.5 hours past that to get to a room, wait another 1 hour to see the doctor. Seems chronically understaffed and the wait times are becoming extreme.

Everything from the process of getting a quick appointment to being checked-in to the nurse and the doctor attending to us made us and our child feel very well cared for. We were not rushed nor did we ever feel that we were not being heard. They did a thorough examination all while understanding that our child really needed the urgent care. They went the extra step to make sure he was given the oral medication that was necessary at that time and get our pharmacy to have the medicines ready by the time we went to pick up. All in all 10/10. A great job done by absolute professionals at the same time ensuring the healthcare provided is top notch!

Very quick service which is amazing when you need some help fast. However, the quality of care from the PAs seemed amateurish. The next day we got a second opinion from our primary pediatrician and turns out it was complexity misdiagnosed. Not giving lower than 3 starts since we appreciate the speed of care which is valuable when your regular doctor is closed.

We visited this facility 3 times in a matter of weeks. The first time my daughter was diagnosed with strep & put on antibiotics. Five days after being off of them she got really sick again, including severe congestion & coughing, they tested for strep & said it was positive & would send a culture off to find out why it was being so resilient to antibiotics (the guy never sent it off). On day 10 of antibiotics we were back because her congestion was so bad, as was her cough & asthma that they performed another strep test & showed that it was just slightly positive, they would this time send the culture off. I pleaded if there was something they could do about the congestion & cough, I was told nope that the newest antibiotic should help. Well it is now 3 days later since that visit & she hasn t gotten any better. Guess why? She has COVID! Despite me telling numerous people all my concerns and her symptoms they were so stuck on the strep they never considered doing a COVID test. Had it been detected sooner, she could have perhaps gotten treatment for it.

Crazy long wait (>30min) to see the doctor. The physician misdiagnosed my son s condition and simply prescribed antibiotics. His eartubes had fallen off and instead this physician diagnosed it as middle ear infection. Will avoid this place at any cost the next time

This clinic is wonderful for kids! My mom had to tell me about it and once we got there I was so glad she did! They are so fun and positive with the kiddos and parents and create a wonderful atmosphere. We were walk ins, no appointment scheduled, and were in and out in about and hour and a half from start to finish. I hope I don t have to go back, but if I need urgent care for my son again this will be my choice!!

It seemed like the receptionist had no idea what she was doing. I waited over an hour for her to figure out how to check me in all to be told they couldn t help my son. The changing table was also dirty and not stocked with hygiene sheets. If I m taking my child to a medical facility I expect it to be clean.

My first experience was this...... Amazing experience at this location. DR. S (FEMALE DR.) and her front office Wanda( I believe thats her name) along with ALL her nurse assistants where phenomenal. The care, consideration and attentiveness blew me away. They all love what they do and it clearly reflects on how kind, informative and patient they all were with my 3 yr old and I. I highly recommend this urgent care for all parents who are as caring as I am. They truly treat you like family here. IF I ever have any other urgent need I will look forward to come here. The registration process was fast (do it online prior to visit) and i had no wait. I came in at 12:20 and my baby girl was seen at 12:30 wow wow wow. Thank you thank you thank you..... I absolutely loved this place. 2nd experience 3/7 I give it two stars over the 5 stars I had previously given this place. I took my daughter in over an endless high fever that spiked to 104.7 I couldnt control it for 3 consecutive days until I decided to bring her in. I did my check in etc at the time scheduled and was brought into a room 10 min right after arrival. I had an intake nurse get all the information and checked my daughter for her temperature and it was at 103.5. She said the Dr. Would be right in. I literally waiting like 30 minutes with my burning child to be seen and helped. At no point was I handed an ice pack to cool her down or anything to help her. 30 min later I get a nurse practitioner who simply checked her ears and diagnosed her with an ear infection. Did a prescription and send us on our way. I literally had my burning hot child for over an hour with no meds, assistance to cool her down etc. Until I was able to pick up her antibiotics at 8 p.m. I paid 150 for a simple 5 min check up and no other help but to get a prescription. Thanks for the prescription guys and your useless for your in house assistance to cool her down. If you have the same issue make sure to bring your own ice pack, popsicle and or meds to assist your own child. I am not planning on returning here.
