Such a bad experience . Just becuz of alliance abroad Im a hospitality student in India . I have applied for FRONT DESK. Uh have provided placement to me that was rotation placement which is in kalahari resorts round Rock Texas . Kalahari resort has water park and Tom FLOOERY adventure park for the kids means its a rides and attractions and games for the kids . In my placement plan its mentioned that I supposed to work these Tom FLOOERY and water park I havent applied for the water park and Tom FLOOERY how come a hospitality student work in these entertainment department . I spoke vth sponsor which is in us they are speaking nonsense they are telling to me what was hospitality. I knew what was hospitality now one helped me . Im facing difficulties here. When I sent my resume why dont you check properly . I have paid a lot of money for this placement. What kind of placement is this . This is totally ridiculous and disgusting . Why should I work here. I have paid to work in professional course not in entertainment department . Dont provide these kind of stupid placement . Alliance abroad when I cl theres a girl spoke vth me seh doesnt has common sense. She is very rude . Im not getting my hours . Hospitality needs experience where did get experience .waste of paying money . Why dont uh check my resume properly when I sent uh . Even if I signed in aggreement as a sponsor uh supposed to inform to me whats Tom FLOOERY and water park. In hospitality industry we dont have any entertainment department we have only four major departments . I have doney specialization training in front desk . And also I have completed my graduation in hospitality . Now these kalahari followed my rotational plan . Now Im working Tom FLOOERY department which is rides and attractions for the kids . Im facing lots of difficulties . Why dont uh help me when I paid lots of money. I asked to transfer some other property uh people said NO why uh are working whats the use of working . If you dont know whats is hospitality uh supposed check in google are else uh should have ask some one . ALLIANCE ABROAD RUINED MY CARREER . Uh people are for what Im not understanding . Front desk means only handling room reservations. Providing guest accommodations. They are may responsibilities that front desk has..... If anyone is looking for abroad placement I will not recommend ABROAD ABROAD .A girl is for alliance abroad she is such a disgusting girl she doesnt know how to speak . She is mannerless girl . This my first job such a bad experience . Im working which is not related to my career. IF UH DONT KNOW PROVIDING PLACEMENTS IN PROFESSIONAL COURSE BETTER STAY IN HOME . did I ask uh for the rotational plan. Im pissed off and super frustrated becuz of alliance abroad . Uh people are illiterate people . SUCH A SHAMELESS UH PEOPLE DOESNT KNOW WHATS HOSPITALITY

Hello, My daughter went to San Antonio to work at Bubba Gump through Alliance Abroad Group and Oxford WAT House in Turkey as part of J1. Although the contract stated an average of 32 hours per week, she works much less than 32 hours from the beginning. My daughter, however, alegged her rigthds to the Bubba Gump managers, She did not receive a positive response. The problem was the same for all J1s. As my daughter questioned the situation to seek her rights, she was bullied by the managers, her smallest mistake was made an issue and she was offended, unfortunately. discussed the issue Mrs. Bianca over phone and Britanny from the Bubba Gump. I also spoke to Oxford House in Turkey. Oxford House did not care at all, saying it was not related for their companies responsibilites. Bianca from AAG contacted the company by e-mail and rolled her eyes at my daughters manager, stating that she had received information that the hours had been reduced because she had reacted to something and that my daughter was at fault. OMG Finally, my daughter spoke to Brittany from BubbaGump on Saturday, August 24, and they terminated her employment saying they were not happy with my daughter. J1 students are being exploited in America and AAG is not looking out for the rights of students. They didnt even investigate enough. Thank you.

Bad experience... For a year and a half they were taking me into account for a program with an H2B visa, until they finally invited me to an in-person interview in CDMX and so they didnt give me a reason why I wasnt even selected. Alejandro told me that he was going to talk to me about future opportunities and he never did... I just spent my money and my time going to CDMX for nothing and I didnt deserve even the slightest feedback...

Read the contracts carefully, Because this sponsor ripped me off for USD$650. I signed a contract that said if the visa was denied they would charge me USD$300 and if the DS-2019 is cancelled after receiving it due to issues at the beginning of your contract in the US or consular appointment issues they would charge USD$400. Alliance Abroad Group Mexico what they do is that if they deny a visa to a student they charge USD$650 and they put in the platform topic I cancel the program after receiving the DS-2019. Beware of this Sponsor, They are scams Thats why Im posting photos in Spanish so you can see the scams this sponsor is doing and realize the theft theyre committing.

Alliance Abroad Group (AAG) is an excellent group you can trust for your international experiences; you can explore and choose an area to work that matches your skills and interests. As a teacher, I am currently teaching in the USA, and I am from the beautiful country of Jamaica, where running is on our feet (i.e., track and field), luscious vegetation, reggae music, delicious ackee & saltfish, Jerk Chicken, festivals, gorgeous beaches, and warm, welcoming people. I have chosen their Teacher Exchange Program (J-1), where I can explore other countries to learn about their culture, education, food, and tradition and enjoy people from diverse cultures, as well as share my rich Jamaican culture, food, tradition, and history and foster a dialogue between USA students and peers from my home country to shape a globally aware generation. With Alliance Abroad Group, you can guarantee they will stand by you through the good and challenging experiences you might encounter. They have delightful representatives who you can reach 24/7 by phone, timely email responses, and a monthly check-in site with friendly reminders if you have a hectic schedule. I appreciate this excellent, caring community for providing newsletters to keep you updated on current events, dates, times, and locations and engaging in any upcoming activities. If you want to take your experiences, expertise, and knowledge to the next level, make Alliance Abroad Group your first choice. You are safe! #ThankyouChreParnellDavis #ThankyouTheoKitchen

I ve been trying to clear my name for years now and they are not helping. I took a loan with Ubuntu years ago when I was still a J1 student at Kalahari Resorts , the agreement was that AAG would deduct money from my pay check weekly for a year until I ve fully paid Ubuntu off as they were working together at the time. did exactly that as agreed but guess what ? I m black listed because they didn t clear the debt and yet I paid them back in full !!!! I can t buy any assets today because of this appalling situation. I have sent emails and I m being ignored . They wrote an email themselves confirming that I paid them

I worked with them (I am refraining from calling names) at the beginning of the year, opened portal and everything, then in February she said that the application process has been closed and I need to contact them around this time this year as it will reopen, my portal will be reopened by the time and we can continue. Mind you all this time she seemed communicating as if the process was a promising one.... I have also been communicating throughout the year to ensure that it is still valid and each time I was told that this period of time will be the restarting process and any further information or details about the program will be answered around then when they get back to me, NOTHING else could have been communicated. Fast forward to now where they never reached out to me, I reached out to them for an update and I was told that the following.... Thank you for your interest in our J1 Teacher Program in the United States. Due to the high volume of applications vs. the limited number of placements we offer, we no longer accept any J1 Teacher applications for the 2023/2024 academic year. We are truly sorry we cannot assist you for this academic year. It was so upsetting as I invested time and effort into this company just to be told there is nothing that can be done at this point? A simple response like this would have sufficed when I continuously asked for assurance many times before. All would have been understood. Whats even worse is that they did not have consideration to explain themselves as I responded to the above email and I have yet to get a reply. Disappointing.

A year ago, A YEAR!!!, I cancelled my program and still haven t got money back!!! May be it is enough having interest from that money? During this time my coordinator of the program has been changed 3 times!!! What a great management!!! For future participants, I really don t recommend this sponsor, why? Because they have 0 customer service, they really don t care about you, if you call emergency you have to speak first with computer pressing millions of keys on your phone and no guarantee that you will be connected and will not be directed to voicemail, absolutely no help during your program (I participated W&T in 2017 and 100% sure what I m talking about) if you guys have a chance to choose other, there are bunch of sponsors on the US government website. Anyway, I got my best friend from the event that they made up at Park City, which this activity let me make lots of friends who came with AAG or others. Secondly, I wanna say thank you that you created the switch program (mine was at Park City and Bryce) because this program gave me opportunity to make more friends and gained more experience. I learned lots of cultures from different people, which made me stronger and confident to talk to people or solve problems while I was working. So I am Fabricio Fernandes, I am a Brazilian Teacher, and the AAG was the support agency in my exchange program. I am doing an exchange teacher program called Visiting Teacher. I am in the USA since September 2018 and definitely I would not be here without AAG. AAG is an office that you can trust your exchange program and believe they will do the best for you.

I have had an amazing experience with Alliance Abroad in 2018 when I went to Australia. I obtain an AMAZING job in a GREAT venue and the agent were really helpful and up to speed in whole of the process of Visas. Thank you to Austin who was and still is a great liaison and whose kindness and professionalism are the main reason I am still seeking for the service of Alliance Abroad nowadays.

Thanks to Alliance Abroad, I had the chance to go to the USA and make my dream come true. Employers increasingly value graduates with international experience and/or education. That is exactly what Alliance Abroad helped me achieve. Everybody I met via Alliance Abroad were extremely nice and helpful. I truly recommend this company if you want to have a life-changing experience. Forever grateful, Alliance Abroad!

This organization is a complete scam! I moved to Australia back in 2008 through Alliance Abroad and after an $800 price tag received virtually ZERO assistance other than a few days of generic office work. These people make it sound like theyre a massive support system for participants until you get down there and realize youll be largely dependent upon yourself to find jobs and housing. Finding affordable housing in Sydney is an absolute nightmare, especially if youre traveling alone, and the help Alliance offers is something anyone with half a brain could figure out on their own: when I stressed to my program coordinator that I was having a terrible time finding a place to live she told me that it was all part of the experience and that I should try looking at apartment fliers on traffic sign posts. Seriously? The vast majority of work I found in Sydney was via my own means using plain old online resources and temp agencies. Alliance does not have an in with any particular company or chain of restaurants or recruitment agency and there is definitely NOT any job waiting for you when you get off the plane. I contacted two employees of Alliance and the CEO, Victoria Lynden, when I moved back to The States, expressed my disgust with their program, and demanded a refund as they helped me with neither housing nor work. They flat our refused ANY form of compensation and told me that any kind of refund wouldnt have been fair to the other participants. Many of whom I spoke to and ALL had the same disappointing experience. Great customer service, eh? If you want to move to Australia just go through the immigration office and get a visa on YOUR OWN. Its literally a FRACTION of the price of what Alliance charges and you wont be left with horrendous disappointment and frustration. Its shame that my program was ten years ago and this place is STILL taking advantage of young, enthusiastic travelers who are eager for an easy transition to live in a different country. Look elsewhere.

After spending an entire summer in Texas receiving the support of these people, I can only say that they try to get the maximum money from their participants, violating their contract, both labor-related, since you are going to work many more hours than what they say. contract, both the housing one, since they dont give you everything they say. A real shame. Thieves. Not to mention the Schliterbahn water park...low salary, working from 9 to 9 every day, with 30 minutes to eat...really treating the international students who go there to enjoy the experience like slaves.

Absolute waste of money. They make it seem better than it is but if you just apply for your visa and book your own hostel, you can figure out the city and find a place to live. Getting a job is just like anywhere else. If you re motivated, you can make it happen. Save yourself the money and just make the moves yourself. You ll be hapy you did.

I went on my cultural exchange program through is sponsor.I must say that the service excellent and they checked up on us quite frequently. However, I cant trust them. They provided us with places to live that are owned by BIG NAMED THIEVES.Randy Winograd, 1508, 33rd St Galveston Tx, was our respected land lard and residence. He was on time for his rent ever time a client was due.He sounded so nice and cool we would have never expected this from him. He told us he would have sent our deposit of $100 via cheque. It has been ^ months and no Randy or cheque.

This is a shady organization. I wanted to bring an employee over with the J-1 process. All of their employees were always on vacation, it took everyone forever to get back to me, and they would not guarantee bringing the employee by when I needed her. We canceled the process before it even really started. We had not finished submitting documents and they had not even approved the process when I canceled due to time retrains. Even though Alliance Abroad had done nothing accept receive a few emails with documents, they charged my business $500 for canceling the process before we even started it. Do not use this company. Seek an immigration lawyer and do not trust Alliance Abroad.
