What a delightful change from all the local Cedar Park sushi spots that are much larger. Sushi Moto is quaint, has wonderful food and the prices are reasonable. Honestly, it feels like stepping into a sushi spot in Kyoto, Japan, minus the flight across the Pacific. When I say quaint, it s quite cozy but that s what I like about it. It s easy to see how Sushi Moto maintains their rating. This is now my favorite sushi spot in the area and it s worth checking out.

This place was so cute when we first walked in! Small but intimate. Great for a date night or dinner with a friend. The food was great as well! We ordered the spicy shishito peppers, a roll and a shishimi appetizer. Everything came out quickly and was very good! I highly recommend the roll they set on fire. I dont recall what it was called as Im posting several weeks afterward. But we will be back!

I was craving sushi, reminiscent of Sushi Fevers quality, but wanted to try a new spot nearby. Sushi Moto in Cedar Park exceeded expectations! The service was top-notch, and the food was flavorful and fresh. It made for a wonderful date night. Standouts included the crispy Fried Squid Tentacles, the inventive Hello Moto Roll, and the spicy Fire Dragon Roll. Sushi Moto has earned its place as a new favorite!

This restaurant is fantastic and sadly probably overlooked due to its location. It is on Bell Blvd, but sits back from Bell in a strip mall so its not very obvious. However I definitely recommend to go out of your way to visit. The sushi is very fresh and delicious. Ive tried the sushi, sashimi, rolls, and poke. All were fabulous. I will definitely be back!

The chicken katsu wasnt that great, I like to see white meat all the way through and this has brown pieces of meat in it. Didnt taste great. Katsu sauce was okay at least. Salad was severely lacking as was the salad dressing. Miso soup was okay, would have preferred it a bit warmer. My wife enjoyed her shaggy dog roll at least. The place seems a bit overrated for what it is.

This is me and my families #1 sushi restaurant. Their sushi is simply the best. I have been eating sushi for 20+ years, and Sushi Moto made me feel like I felt when I had my first good sushi experience, its THAT good. We regularly take our kids here for an early dinner, and they love it too. Come get in on the ground floor of this place, because they are going places!

I don t understand what the hype is about this place. Every time we go , The fish tastes old and it s slimey. There was way too much sauce (covering up old fish taste). The presentation was nice, but that was the only good thing about my meal. This place feels like H-E-B sushi with some sauces on it

Omg I could cry at how good this place is. The food was so delicious and fresh! The rolls and sashimi are a good size - and so much flavor. The plates are well decorated and you can just tell they put so much emphasis on plating. It s family owned and the owners are soo sweet! We got appetizers, 2 rolls (fire dragon & peppered ninja), sashimi fatty salmon and teriyaki chicken. All for $82 - so reasonable. We used to go to an all you can eat place that came out to $45 a person- this place, you get full and it s the same price but 10x better quality! My new favorite sushi spot! 10/10!! Update: second time I ve been here and it was just as good- we love consistency! Also way more packed, people are catching on to this jewel!

Blessed are the hands of this Chef!! I order the salmon/tuna poke almost 3-4x a week. The food is delicately set and each bite is a new experience of flavor. I ve been to a number of sushi restaurants and the flavors here are by far one of THE BEST flavors you ll experience. I ve tried various poke bowls, sushi, and sashimi. The garlic edamame is god sent. Additionally, the chef is extremely kind and attentive. He will go around and inquire how your food and experience are. Such hospitality from this restaurant owner and his staff! So grateful for the experience!!

Upon entering, the restaurants environment is very classy and beautifully decorated. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable on the various types of fish. But where this restaurant truly shines is in the quality and granularity of the nigiri. It was phenomenal; the salmon belly was precisely scored in a series of parallel cuts which contributed to texture, and the Uni was the freshest I ve ever had. I highly recommend this place it is a true gem.

It was cozy and cute. The sushi was good. We ordered a seaweed salad but it arrived with ice chips in it. We let our server know and we told her we didn t need another but they brought one anyway. The next one was watery, we didn t eat it. We were pleased to see that we didn t get charged for it. Aside from that 1 little thing, everything else was very good. The quality of the food is very good. The quantity of the food not so much. 5 of us went in and spent over $100. No drinks or alcohol. My family of 5 came here because it had such high reviews. Unfortunately we werent able to try the food because the host was unaccomadating to my familys needs for an extra table. They tried to squeeze 5 people at a 4 seat table and when I asked if they would move a small table that was literally 2 ft away to our table, the host denied my request saying they dont move tables. Even after trying to reason with the host that the table they wanted us to sit at was too small and there was no one else in the restaurant (empty restaurant) she refused to make it comfortable for us. So we left. I will spend my money where my service is appreciated. This place does not care about the customers. I do not recommend Sushi Moto.

Came here for a dinner/lunch date with my boyfriend right when they opened at 5pm. upon entering we were sketched from the outside but once we entered it felt like a quaint adorable sushi place for a date night. The food was amazing and there s one sushi chef making it all which was very impressive since it came out in a timely manor. The server didn t keep checking up on us but in a good way, she brought us everything correct and then made sure we enjoyed our food without having to keep bothering us. My boyfriend got a sushi roll that was on fire and it was so delicious and smoky. I got the lemon roll and it tasted very fresh. got the potato shrimp appetizer and it was pretty good and different. the sushi is so fresh. It s more quality over quantity so they don t have many tables but if you try to get there when they first open you should be able to find a table easily. Definately reccomend for a date! After reading the reviews I wanted to try this place out. So sorry that I did. I ordered the shagy dog roll, after taking one bite I had to spit it out. It tasted like a bowl of sugar was poured on it. I asked the waitress why this roll was so sweet? She told me it wasnt sweet. I reiterated that it tasted very sweet and I did not care for. The waitress shrugged her shoulders and shook her head saying its not sweet and walked away from my table. I thought maybe she was going to get the manager but no, she brought me my check and asked me if I wanted a to go box. I said no thank you it was not good. I then looked at the check and seen I was being charged for the roll that I didnt even eat. I asked the waitress why I was being charged for the roll, she said you ordered it you pay. I told her the least they could do was give me some type of discount. She said no, you pay. Absolutely horrible customer service. I will never go back!!!!

Many entrees to select from so consider viewing the menu online might reduce the overwhelming feeling of delicious choices. A very pleasant experience.

Easily our new favorite sushi place in Austin! Everything came out so good. The fatty salmon was my favorite! They were so fresh, it literally melted in my mouth. Have to order more for next time. The 3 sushi rolls plus the katsu, shrimp tempura and the miso soup we ordered were also amazing. Service was great, they were extremely friendly and attentive.

Sushi was okay, I prefer a more personal experience with sushi chefs to understand what Im eating, there was no fish of the day the 2 hostess/servers were talking and on there phones more than being attentive or understanding of the menu, this is probably great for take out for quick rolls, or a silent dining experience.... review may change in future visits

The family is amazing and Chef Jason makes amazing rolls. Its unfortunate cedar park as really messed up that shopping center. I think if it wasnt so messed up theyd be doing WAY more business. Its definitely worth going to.

I highly recommend. Small restaurant with excellent sushi/sashimi and service. Had the truffle chu-toro sashimi appetizer and the silver sushi combo. Both were delicious and it was evident the chef takes pride in his craft. Things I might would change? Offer a menu instead of directing guests to an online menu that was obviously designed for computer screens not a phone. The servers menu knowledge was a huge help. I would not put the spicy ponzu sauce on the chu-toro. Its a delicious sauce but too much masks the flavor of the chu-toro and the truffle oil. Painting the side of the plate with it would be better. Also, I prefer sashimi served near room temperature and the chu-toro was cold. Unlike sushi, its not wrong to serve sashimi cold just not my preference. Along with the servers menu knowledge, she was friendly and eager to accommodate. Ive trained a lot of servers and she is a gem.

Daughter was our server and the service was excellent and she told us which items were made by her mom and dad. We had four different rolls, the miso soup, crab puffs, tempura udon and beef yakisoba. Everything was delicious.

The Spicy salmon rolls are good staples. Decent portions. Hubby also got the chicken teriyaki bowl. That was one tasty dish. Gyoza seemed homemade. Crisp and hot. Tasty. The sauce threw me off, it was a little BBQ sauce tasting. We also had the Yellowtail tornado. I didnt love it, but didnt hate it. It was different. Im gonna have to go back and sample some other rolls. Definitely worth checking out.

I usually don t leave reviews, but Sushi Moto is a gem. I ve been selfishly keeping this place a secret for myself for a year, but Chef Jason and his family deserve the acknowledgement. It s a family owned sushi joint that caters to people who like the traditional sushi (less sauce, less rolls) and for those who like more sauce and rolls too! Chef Jason is super kind and always looking to make sushi that caters to your taste. The fish is also very fresh, and for the price, we always leave happy and full. Definitely check this place out when you have the time.

Located on the east side of the Georgetown/Round Rock area, just south of E. Whitestone, on N Bell Blvd and nestled into a shopping plaza, is a quaint little sushi restaurant with some of the best sushi I have tasted in America... And thats saying something because Im a trucker and have eaten in all CONUS states. We were kindly greeted almost as soon as we walked into the restaurant and seated promptly. Our drink order was then taken. Shortly after receiving our drinks, our orders were taken. My wife and I ordered the Gyoza (Pot Stickers for the westerners reading this), Beef Bulgogi, the Good Night roll, and I ordered a Thai Tea. My youngest brother ordered with his wife, the Good Night roll, Gyoza, Wagyu Beef, Octopus Balls (Dough balls filled with whole octopus parts, not octopus testicals, you sickos), and Bluefin Tuna. Our orders came out relatively quick, starting with the appetizers of Gyoza, Octo-Balls, and Wagyu Beef. All of which was super tasty... My wifes Bulgogi came out before my Good Night Roll. It was very delicious! So fer as my sushi roll, it was on point. Im not sure what was in it, but it was fried and had that spicy yellow-orange sauce, Eel sauce, and some other sauce. In a bit of luck, we were also able to obtain FRESH WASABI!! It was my first time having fresh wasabi, and I will never eat that nasty paste stuff ever again... Fresh wasabi or bust for me! My brother ordered last minute, the Bluefin tuna. It was phenomental. It was 2, 3 inch (or so) by 1 inch (or so) pieces laid on their own mound of rice, topped with a small dab of caviar and a little bit of thinly sliced spring onion. It was certainly FRESH tuna. It had ZERO fishy smell, and was VERY smooth in eating. All in all, if you want good sushi and dont mind a little bit of a drive, Sushi Moto is your go-to place (for me as of right now). If you come here, expect a great atmosphere, great staff, and even GREATER food! You wont be disappointed!

My husband and I stopped by on a Friday for lunch and there was only one other couple who was dining in. We opted for the lunch combos which come with miso soup and delicious cuts of fresh fish. We also tried out their gyozas and takoyaki which come as 5 pieces (so hard to share sometimes when its an odd number :p) I also did like the fact we got our own pitcher of water to self serve in refilling our water glasses! We left feeling very satisfied and pleased with Chef Jason and our service! Cant wait to return for our next tasty meal and wonderful service.
