A visited the emergency room because I had a bad cut that required stitches. I was able to get in right away. The ER nurse assessed the cut promptly. Dr Hines came to see me next, she explained what needs to be done. She fixed me up promptly got me medication set up at my pharmacy and I was on my way. Staff was very friendly. I had a positive experience at the cedar Park emergency room.

Last weekend I had a medical emergency in the middle of the night, and my wife drove me here. They took excellent care of me, got me sorted out, and everyone there was supportive and friendly and attentive. Couldnt ask for better!

Had a blowout fracture in my orbital bone that is going to need plastic surgery to fix it, and the nurse from this facility stated the Dr. said I didnt need a CT scan immediately, just to ice it, after they found out I had no insurance. Went to Cedar Park Regional right after this, they said it was a severe break and is going to need emergency plastic surgery, how did CPRC know this, the did a CT scan. How can Family Emergency Room Cedar Park claim to service the community in an emergency only to deny them.

Im using Cage Free Care, made an apt with Monique online, took only 10 minutes or less. I notice there is always an open spot for the same day. I truly like that. Upon arriving, I only waited about 5 minutes. The staff was great!! Thank you. Monique is just amazing. She is down to earth and very professional. I actually have a lot of laughs with the staff. Reception staff and nurse were sweet. Doctor Ashraf was disappointing. We came in for a strep test, took them 2 hours to finish up until we could leave. Doctor gave antibiotics that caused bad rash. When called the next day to ask for something else, they said we needed to come back in again because another doctor was on call and they can t prescribe without seeing the patient like having the chart is not enough, now they want us to pay more and waste more time. To top it off, Dr. Ashraf offered our child Gatorade, which is full of bad substances. Water would have been suffice. Very disappointed at the whole experience.

I would rather spend 5 hours in a big hospital emergency room than deal with this facility. I was seen for a viral infection and the doctor prescribed me antibiotics, but made a note that I couldn t pick up until 4 days later. I called today to see if they could take the note off because I was still feeling really bad and another doctor said that he would; and would call it in. I called the pharmacy three times throughout the day and they stated they never received it. I called the facility back and they claimed the doctor called it in twice already. I got so frustrated I told them that I would just come pick up the prescription drove 30 mins and get to pharmacy only to realize the note is still on the prescription. Called the facility back and was told that it s nothing that they could do because they cannot override what the original doctor said. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I couldnt have asked for a better experience, as far as ED visits go. The team was very friendly, and Dr. Ashraf and Emily, RN, took great care of me and ensured I was comfortable pain wise; they kept me up to date on what was going on the entire time. I am extremely thankful for their great care and treatment!

You will be charged thousands of dollars for treatment. Took my daughter to have a cut glued. They washed it and glued it. Charged my insurance $12,000. My out of pocket was $800. Even after I paid the invoice they continue to bill me with no explanation of charges. They are crooks.

I called to see if they accepted Medicare insurance and the disgusted and apparently put out young man that had to without a doubt lower himself to answer my question responded like a 2 year old. Is it too much to ask for simple courtesy and or respect towards a fellow human being in this day and age ? Zero manners. No is the answer for the Medicare insurance for payment question. They do not accept Medicare and you are a pain in the a$$ if you ask or thats the feeling conveyed to me over the phone. Sorry to bother you.

I visited the Emergency room on April 11 2023. Dr. Ashraf took good care of me. The female nursing staff were nice and gentle except for one male nurse (I dont remember his name else I would have written here but please check my records to identify the person whom I am referring here). I found this male nurse very rough in handling medical equipments on me. Equipments like needles and other data recording equipments attached on the chest etc. are painful to the patient who is already suffering and needs to be handled gently and with care not to cause additional pain but this person was very very rough as I said. Please sensitize this male nurse that he needs to treat every patient gently and with care. Thanks.

TLDR; version: Excellent customer service, good doctor and care staff. Dr Greenwood was spot on with the diagnosis, provided thoughtful advice and gave enough options available for care. The support staff was friendly, also made sure we understood this is an emergency and not urgent care so we are not surprised later. The cost was reasonable and the facility was good. I would use this place again if there is a need.

Emergency room that does not accept Medicare?? Shame on this place for calling itself an emergency room. I brought my mom here who was having heart issues after her chemotherapy. This is a critical concern. The front desk lady asked what kind of insurance and then they don t accept insurance. She told me I d have to pay out of pocket. So don t call yourself an emergency room! Or put up a BIG sign that says WE DO NOT ACCEPT MEDICARE.

You had better be in a VERY SERIOUS MEDICAL EMERGENCY before you consider using this facility. You had also either have more money than God or be prepared to battle with them over insurance claims. I went in with a bad cough only because I was visiting my daughter in Round Rock and my normal doctor was over an hour away. For the incredible hassle and potential expense this is turning out to be the drive would have been one of the best investments Ive ever made. I was in the clinic for about 45 minutes. They took an X ray of my lung, the doctor diagnosed me with the flu and sent a couple of prescriptions to HEB. At check out I was informed by the man at the front desk that if I paid in full that day it would be $400. Reasonable I thought.... so I paid. They had already taken a copy of my insurance card at check in but I thought I was done and paid in full. WRONG.... Dr. Nathaniel Green later billed my insurance company over $4000!! After spending hours trying to find the correct person to speak with I was finally emailed informing me that I had used Prompt Pay at check out so I would not owe anything further. WRONG AGAIN..... as of today they have not only resubmitted the original bill for Dr. Nathaniel Green but now Common Sense Care, LLC which is some kind of subsidiary of Family Hospital Systems which owns Family Emergency Room at Cedar Park (confused yet?) has billed my insurance company another $9500!!!! So in total my insurance company has received about $14,000 in claims for a 45 minute visit for what turned out to be the flu. To make matters worse (and more questionable) they submitted one claim under medical code 99284 which is the billing code for an emergency visit of HIGH OR URGENT severity. Really?? I now have a pretty good idea how they paid for those Hummer emergency vehicles parked outside the clinic. Im not saying this place has unethical billing practices or anything..........Ill leave that conclusion to the reader.

The staff during the day is ok, night staff not so much. Front desk lady was nice, but there s a man at the back that has a horrible attitude. NOT a fan. The doctor I had was named Jackie Hinds I believe. I didn t get home from the ER until almost 3am so I wanted a doctors note excusing me from work in a few hours. She refused to do so. Ugh if I could give her 0 stars I would. Do better. I wouldn t recommend this place. They re fast but that s about it. 0 STARS

Im sorry but I feel like all these other reviews are fake. This place is in network with absolutely ZERO insurance companies. There are signs all over the place once you get in the room. Thankfully my insurance company negotiated the outrageous bill with them, but still paid over 5K for a very simple visit which we left early for fear of the costs. We were STILL expected to pay over $800 out of pocket. Not to mention this bill came almost exactly TEN months after the service was provided. This seems predatory and I have no idea how they are in business. Beware and find somewhere in network if you have insurance.

Weve visited the Family Emergency Room more times than I wish to count over the years, and every time we get premium service. From the moment we enter the doors, to the days following our emergency, you can tell just how much the staff, nurses, and doctors truly care. We have never waited for more than a few minutes to be taken back. The front desk staff, nurses, and doctors are always friendly and eager to help. I trust them and they have never let us down. Last year we took our daughter to a different emergency care center bc it was closer, only to receive sub-optimal care. Her bones needed to be set as soon as possible, and that ER would not do it. We immediately headed to Family Emergency Room and they were able to help her and get us on our way until we could see an orthopedic specialist. I am so grateful for their help that night and each time weve had an emergency.

Absolutely the worst doctor ever. Went here for help for a week long anxiety attack that left me unable to work or function. The doctor came in and immediately accused me of going through withdrawal. I asked her to take blood or any other test they wanted to prove there was nothing in my system as I dont do anything that would cause withdrawal. She would not even run tests on me. The doctor obviously doesnt believe that anxiety is real and berated me for having withdrawal. Doctor would not let me talk or listen to a single word and obviously made her mind up about me before she ever stepped in the room. I was in crisis and she would not even listen. If you are truly having an anxiety attack DO NOT go here she will treat you like a addict. Absolutely the rudest worst doctor Ive ever talked to in my life. I can only hope one day she has a sever anxiety attack and no one will help her and treat her the way she treated me. Absolutely disgusting treatment from a so called doctor. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANXIETY !!!

My wife had a deep cut on her leg and she was pretty sure she needed stitches. But Dr Elder made a wrong call and decided she didn t need stitches and to use glue instead. He had the nurse do everything, he didn t do anything. She ended up with an infection and the blood was stuck. She ended up having to see a primary doctor who said glue should not have been used on such a deep cut. So my wife had it redone properly with stitches. We will never return to this ER again.

Plenty of parking. Front desk quickly and clearly answered my question about accepting Medicare (they do accept it). Intake paperwork was quick and easy so I was soon talking to an RN and MD. On site CT scan was quickly reviewed by a radiologist. Facility was clean, staff was caring and responsive. I felt like I was in good hands.

A bit pricey because it s an out of network ER but the nurses are extremely nice and it s a good stop if you don t want to wait hours in a typical emergency room. The doctor I saw was nice as well.

On March 6 I became ill with a severe sore throat, coughing and congestion. I took over the counter medications and began using a humidifier. Two days after my visit, I called my primary doctor and was told that since I didn t have a fever it was probably allergies or a cold and just keep doing what I was doing. Several days later, I still felt sick and called my doctor again. I was informed that I should just keep on my regime but to call back if I had a fever or had difficulty breathing. By March 13, I didn t feel any better and became concerned. That s when I decided to go to Family Health Systems in Cedar Park. I was greeted immediately by the front office staff and after providing my preliminary information I was taken to an exam room. The staff took time to listen to my concerns. After they took my vitals and history they tested me for strep, the flu and covid. Within minutes was seen by Dr. Ashraf. He examined me and said I had sinusitis. He prescribed and antibiotic and also directed me on use of OTC medicines. The next day I was contacted by Cynthia Lopez, Patient Advocate to inquire how my visit went and that should I have questions or concerns she would be available to assist me. I was very pleased with the level of care I received from FHS. But to make this even better on March 11, I was contacted by Dr. Nasser, a physician with FHS. She was following up to see how I was feeling and if I had questions or concerns. She was VERY helpful in helping me to even further understand what to to and what OTC medications to take. I m grateful to all the staff and just to say I m pleased almost seems like an understatement. Thank you FHS!!

Personally, I had a very bad time with the receptionist! She treated me very badly, and she denied me service for not bringing identification with me. He was rude and made racist comments to me. He refused to give me any kind of help that I asked for. And he didnt even want to give me his name. The truth is very bad experience!! Well, he told me to leave. This is the third time we have been treated/cared for by the Family Emergency Room at Cedar Park and the quality of the care has been, on every occasion, truly exceptional. They treated us in a time efficient manner but at the same time being exceptionally thorough and diligent. From the time the nurse escorted us to the back treatment rooms until we left we were very impressed with the professionalism. Our last visit we were treated by Dr. Mohammed Ashraf and the nurse Tren and the care was outstanding. I highly recommend this facility for urgent medical care not only for the quality but the consistency of said quality.

My daughter couldn t breath and was very scared. The staff did an amazing job of getting her in and were super sweet to her and calming in such a scary situation. They were also very patient with her when she was scared of the blood work and IV. They were so great and I can t say enough good things about this location. The doctor and nurses were very thorough and even called to check on her the next day. So glad this place is so close to us for emergencies.

This was our second time at Family Emergency Clinic here in Cedar Park. Dr. Brook and the male nurse who was helping him were both excellent. They listened to us and did not interrupt, and were very gentle and calming to my young son who was having a terrible cough we wanted to make sure was not more serious. My son had swabbed negative for Covid and flu previously x2 and his cough was sounding worse and worse. After a bad bout of coughing that left the kid breathless and me knowing that if he worsened he would need treatment quickly, we set out for the Family ER Clinic. He was in pajamas and no shoes, I was starting to get very concerned. Y all, we must have looked a mess. The young lady at the front desk was very kind and understanding. She was very soothing to me as I stood in the lobby and immediately got a nurse to check my baby. I did not tell any of them that I am a primary care physician. As a physician, I was impressed with the evaluation, examination and advice we were given. I do not like to evaluate my own kids and definitely want a colleague to check them over if there is a concern. They couldn t have been nicer. I am so glad they are down the street and that they can help with acute concerns. They gave us great medical treatment, and reassurance which is what I really needed. Thank you Dr Brook and the team at Family ER.

The procedure is somewhat slow. I had to wait 25 minutes past my appointment time to get the Covid booster. When making the appointment online, I didn t see anything that said it was a drive-up. Everyone I saw got out of their cars to go inside, then were greeted at the door that it was drive up. The sign should be visible as you drive in so you can go straight to the drive up line. The personnel giving the shots were very nice, they just needed more staff to move the line faster or fewer appointments at the same time.

I had an outstanding experience at The Family Emergency Room at Cedar Park. The staff is very professional and also they made it very easy to get my Covid booster shot. I went there expecting to make an appointment for a later date. One Of the staff members directed me to where to register and I made my appointment for a later date. To my surprise, one of the staff members was most helpful and accelerated my appointment so I could receive it when I was there. It was by far the best experience I could ve imagined getting a Covid shot. My wife had a similar experience with her second shot a few months ago and directed me here. This is an outstanding emergency room with a great staff and has my top recommendation!

The facility and personnel were thorough and pleasant. I got right in at a time they were not that busy so that was good. However, I m not sure about going back because after they gave me an IV they pretty much left me all alone. I wasn t feeling well and would have appreciated someone to check on me once in awhile. I was told to press the call button if I needed something. I understand I m not the only one that needs help but just letting me know in some way that I was not forgotten would have made me feel better.

This is my go to ER. Rib injury and I was in and out in 90 minutes including X-ray and interpretation of results. Staff is always so friendly and immediately attentive. I ve used their locations for COVID testing (PCR with QR code on their results) and for COVID vaccinations. Love the Family ER team
