What is the deal with this location? Literally every visit here takes 30 minutes or more just for simple orders. Sat in line for over an hour and a half waiting for an order at this location one night only for them to tell us AT THE WINDOW that they were out of almost everything we ordered! This location needs better staff!

Stood at the register for almost 10 min to place my order While others were just standing around doing anything when I finally ordered my food. I stated I had been standing there waiting for almost 10 minutes to the manager and one of the workers rolled his eyes and said it hasnt been 10 minutes. It had. I was on the phone with somebody when I got there. I got off the phone so I could order and it had been 10 minutes before that.wont be back if it continues.

They take too long serving. When its supposed a fast food restaurant. The employees are not at all paying attention to the customers. Employees do not and i repeat Do Not work great with each other. The Employees seem to have issues with each other. Meaning food is served not as fast as it should. Customers dont get a full dine in experience because of the lack of responsibility and awareness. One time i only ordered 2 sides of mashed potatoes and they couldn t deliver to me fast enough. When two sides should already be prepped. I Do not recommend this fast food restaurant. Unless you have 2 hours of waiting time. Thank You!

A definite unclean place. Bathrooms have paper everywhere but of course thats because people are nasty to begin with. Overall the parking lot is very dirty then when you go in its not clean. Very uninviting. I have noticed the city of mesquite in general must not have many Compliance rules when it comes to sanitary with food.

First, they open at 10am my son and I can t into the restaurant after standing at the counter for awhile a lady tells us yall just have to wait we still counting the money than she tells the other customers yall just gotta wait like then we ll let you know ! Complete attitude, why? At 10:30am she tells us while slamming her hand on the counter yall can come on . The only reason I m leaving two stars is because I love the food. Customer service - absolutely HORRIBLE. I would come more frequently if you didn t have to wait in line five hours to place your order. They take about 30 minutes per customer in between orders. And they won t answer the phone either. Nobody here seems to have the brain of someone who has gotten past the 2nd grade either - including the management

We stopped to get food here last night, my husband spoke pretty clearly but it seems everything we got was wrong. First we asked for Mac n cheese and they said they were out of Mac n cheese, but they werent.. they just had to cook more and itd take 3 minutes. We ordered blackened chicken, because were trying to avoid fried food right now and just wanted something kinda healthy but they told us they were out of blackened chicken and then turned around and said they werent?? But itd take a minute to cook it. When we received our food our sprite was just soda water and gross, and we didnt receive the side of pickles and we were missing an extra side of Mac n cheese that was replaced with French fries lol the girl helping us.. she seemed to be doing her best but she lied to us a lot and I cant tell if that was just her lying or the kitchen was messing with her for some reason? I know Popeyes isnt known for its upstanding service but this interaction was weird AF.

The four stars are mostly due to slow and not so friendly service. However, that may be due to not being able to handle the stress of the afternoon rush and/or being understaffed. I went tonight to get a 10pc family meal and waited over 30mins in the drive through.. then I ordered extra potatoes at the window and the little guy didnt get them I got home and opened everything and they only gave me 7 PC of chicken. This place is never clean or stocked with basic necessities. The manager is non English speaking smh and I love all races but how can you be the manager in Mesquite TX and not know how to communicate clear with respectful paying customers. I tried, on three occasions, to call the number on my receipt, however, nobody answers (line is disconnected) I reached out to corporate, however, they state this location is independently owned. The service was horrible, there were two couples standing in front of me thinking they ordered already. I wish I could rate the food but I wasn t able to get any. My partner and I went through the drive thru. He ordered his meal and tried ordering mine. I m a vegetarian and only come for there sides. The employee said we weren t allowed to order any sides, only one side per customer because of a shortage. My partner proceeded to tell the employee that it is for two separate people. Other customers who had gone through the drive through were coming in where orders had been filled incorrectly. The tables in the dining section needed to be cleaned, though customers could learn to just clean up after themselves would help also.

Cant tell you how the food was they sent me away hungry cause they didnt have 1s. So for $2 they wouldnt give me my meal. Told them to give me change/coins I dont care but said they couldnt. That was totally unprofessional. I would have comped the whole order if need be to keep customer happy. Management is poor here. Need to get older more experienced management. Usually a hit or miss. I guess you have to catch the right crew on the right day at the right time. Food is always consistent (because Popeyes is Popeyes) just never know when theyll get your order right or wrong....for example I ordered a 5 piece SPICY tenders and got mild...a time before that ordered red beans and rice as a side I got mashed potatoes instead....a time before that something was up with the mango lemonade machine so instead of frozen I had to get a regular....a time before that everything was perfect then discovered they didnt add my sauces to the bag....like I said hit or miss with this particular location. Gotta catch em on the right day, with the right crew at the right time.

Haven t been to this location in a few years or any Popeyes for that matter. We used to love Popeyes and visit weekly especially on Sundays. Decided to stop for lunch since I was in the area .needless to say, I remembered why we stopped going to Popeyes all together. Super slow! No one was even in the drive through but I still had to wait a few minutes before my order was taken. Had to repeat my order several times. Order was still wrong, tea was NASTY!! How do u make sweet tea nasty?? Chicken was hard old and super small!! The rice was dry and old and barely any beans with the beans and rice! I didn t think to take a picture prior. I was in a rush on my lunch break so I didn t have time to stop and have everything remade. The only thing changed are the prices! Extremely high prices for the smallest portions and slowest service ever. Wasted $19! Done with Popeyes, again!!

Placed online order. Waited for 5min without being attended too at the drive through.. had to drive up to finally be acknowledged. Ordered two chicken sandwiches and a family pack online as a mobile order however it was not ready at the time we got there. I ordered at 4:00pm and it was 4:21 pm shouldnt take that long and as a mobile order it should have already been ready. The chicken was double refried in old oil, hard, no spice, and worst part of all we found a hair in our chicken. Im usually not the type to complain but the hair in food was the last straw. We couldnt even finish our food. I dont live near this location to have gone back and complained so i called corporate and they escalated this complaint. I hope to get a refund for at least the family pack cause it was just a legit waste of money and right now with this economy its not easy to just have to go and buy something else when you ve already spent your budget .Corporate said they couldn t refund me as they said it had to come from the store.. really upsetting popeyes! Judging by the reviews im not the only one complaining about this location. Popeyes PLEASE HAVE BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE and better CUSTOMER RESOLUTIONS! ETA: corporate did reach out next day however all they said was they were sorry and hoped that we would give them another chance. Service was slow, drive thru was moving at a snail speed so went inside. Upon entering I realized the cashier was taking 10 minutes to take each customers order. As they would take an order then prepare sides for the drive thru line and also prepare sandwiches too. This wasn t because the restaurant was understaffed as I saw 5+ workers in the back not including the manager and drive thru associate that were just standing around.

Never have anything Make sure you get there a whole hour early before closing because those little kids specially the girl working the drive through will ignore you until. You leave. Sitting at the drive thru for about 15 minutes to only get ignored pulled up and said they were closed when we clearly where there 15 minutes prior.
