I have my teeth cleaned every six months and have been coming to Buttercup dental for about 12 years. Christine was my hygienist all that time until she left last year. I came into office today and was just surprised and disappointed that my gums had digressed and that I would need another root and scale perio. I have decided to go with an in network dentist for delta dental since it will be about $350 cheaper. Im on a tight budget these days and am retired and older so I need to make a change. Otherwise its been great. I had been going to buttercup about 35 years. Best wishes.

Awful experience. I had to take care of a crown and Dr. Stancey did it, yeah the one that I believe has a God complex and treats patients horrible. Long story short he then told me my other crown was patched up but that he had seen that before done by doctors from those countries I guess he thinks in Latinamerica we take care of our health by some river. Je said it was time to change the filling, I trusted him and agreed. My mistake. He even after having my X-rays, knowing that the root was very close he simply drilled his way into the tooth. He drilled so deep that he damaged my tooth. He was very rude as I told him he had to fix it and I was not paying for his mistake. Dr. Park, super professional impeccable. He said to me 0k, it s done (the root canal) let s wait a few days and when you re comfortable Dr. Stancey will put the crown. As planned I called to make the appointment and surprise, Dr. Stancey was on vacation or so I was told. They didn t replace the doctor and he was gone. I waited several days too many, and so the filling of Dr. Park fell a little because I was using that tooth to eat. Finally the permanent crown was in the right place but I have a sensation everytime I use the tooth I strongly believe he waited too long to put the permanent crown. After he finished with me he got up from the chair and left without saying a word . Nothing, nada like O wasn t there. Silent rudeness? He never acknowledged he made a mistake. Terrible! I would never go back. Please avoid this place at all cost. Having a professional mistreat you and be rude is not what patients are looking for. Professionals leave their personal feelings at home so they can work emotionless with a steady and mature character.

Terrible!! I was basically tortured in the chair for over an hour! Started out a couple of weeks ago when I went in for a cleaning and the dental hygienist said that I still had a temporary crown in my mouth. She asked the assistant to go check and sure enough I did have a permanent crown there from February! So doctor Stansky tried to pop off my temporary crown and he tried everything for about 25 minutes to get it off and it wouldn t come off. So he finally decided he needed to cut it off. Long story short..he cut off a real enamel crown!!! How in the heck that is even possible I have no idea!! So I have spent the entire weekend in some pretty severe pain from him being in my mouth so long and messing with my tooth for so long! Very disturbing that there was a breakdown from not only the hygienist but the dentist as well!!!

They took my debit card and I agreed to make a payment and they charged 1300.00on an account I only had 200 in and I had to file fraud charges. Do not trust the office people they don t tell you the truth about what they are up to. I m furious I have to pay overdraft fees for a charge I never would have agreed to pay on that account liar liar pants on fire I didn t agree to. My first visit was an emergency re-seat of a crown and they did a good job. My second visit was a cleaning and exam by the doctor which ended up being a cleaning / short lecture by the hygienist for the stains on my teeth and no exam by the doctor. I just had my third visit yesterday and it did not turn out how I had expected. My Greeting from the receptionist was, Can I get your name? , no hello. I waited a moment and the hygienist opened the door and said greeted me with, Come this way . I stood up and said Hello! , which seemed to catch her off guard by the surprised look I received. The cleaning went fine and she did a good job. However, my exam consisted of Dr Smith coming in for about 30 seconds. He said hello to me, looked in my mouth, asked if a tooth was bothering me, then told the hygienist to keep an eye on it for the next visit. I guess by the way that he didn t introduce himself to me, prompted the hygienist to ask if I had met him before. I simply replied, Nope . To conclude the appointment, the hygienist gave me a toothbrush, walked me to the front desk, and walked away. (No thank you, see you next time, or any form of salutation). Maybe I m just spoiled with someone greeting me and thanking me for my patronage by my previous dentist, the cashier at HEB, and the clerk at the county tax office. I m pretty sure I ll be looking for another dentist office.

I had a toothache that got exceptionally bad at the end of last week. I called the main office number on Saturday morning hoping somebody might be there. I left a message, and within a few minutes Dr Park called me back on his personal phone. He couldnt get to me at the moment, but instructed me to call in Monday morning and I would be taking care of. He was certainly correct. Another of the doctors on the team looked me over and referred me to an endodontist who could see me almost immediately. He also was quite exceptionally good and gave me a root canal while I was there. Awesome people at every step of the process.

Stancey never showed up to my exam (which was scheduled for before my cleaning). I waited and waited while I could hear him talking in the hallway and in another patients room. My exam was scheduled for 10:50AM. I left at 12:40PM without ever seeing Stancey. This rating is only a two (and not lower) because Laura does a great job with my cleaning.

It was great! Highly recommend! They really took their time it was busy in the waiting area which to men that means they have repeated customers. They took their time to look at my teeth and clean my teeth no pain was experienced! Also they explained my teeth to me what they were doing and why they were doing it. One of the best dental experiences I have had. I am going back for an ortho consult and also going back to have an old filling replaced because they noticed something on scans. Honestly very affordable without insurance. The only thing that happened was the person who polished my teeth at the end was being rude to the lady at the front desk. A bit of workplace drama I also had to tell her information that he failed to tell her. But he polished my teeth very well so no problems there! Just the back and forth pitter patter

Have been going there for years and I have always been greeted with nothing but pleasant people. Behind the desk, the technicians, and of course the dentists. They all try to make a person as comfortable as one can be at the dentist office.

UPDATED Review** Dr. Park and team are absolutely amazing!! I moved to Liberty Hill and tried another dentist only to come right back to Dr. Park. He is hands down the best dentist Ive ever had and he genuinely cares. Thank you, Dr. Park and team! I LOVE this place! I ve been going to Dr. Park for several years now and I always have a great experience. They are quick, efficient, and very thorough. Conservative and safe environment with skilled professionals, but I was a bit confused how they presented the estimated bill, thus I had to call back and requested some answers. Understand it all depends on the insurance claim in the end, but I wanted to make sure how I have to pay my part. The person I dealt with was a bit impatient to my cause. No problem, in the end, I certainly will pay my dues.

Excellence! I uncommonly enjoy my cleaning visit as Laura is so efficient & attentive. I experience no pain, and leave with a beautiful result. Need I say more? Absolutely love this office. I ve been coming here for 14 years. I hate dentist visits and suffer from dental anxiety and they make me feel comfortable and safe. I use their conscious sedation and it helps me get the care I need regularly.

From being greeted with kindness at the door, these folks are absolutely wonderful, when mom passed I took over care for my special needs nephew, in passing the baton for his care Buttercup Dental far exceeds expectation with his needs. Elizabeth takes time to console him and speak like he is family during his cleaning and when the doc came in, knows Drake by name and asks about him and listened. We love it here!
