Bartender was rude. All these reviews are great. Wish I could ve had the same experience. Only went cause my cousin invited me to go. Won t be going back for sure. I asked the bartender if he knew how to make a Mexican candy shot. No. Ok. What can you make. Anything. Im 22, obviously I m asking for suggestions. Nope.. Horrible first & last experience!

Not a fancy place but its friendly and they make you feel comfortable. Full liquor bar , pool by the hour or quarters. Big and medium size tables. Good place to learn the ropes as it were.

This is your typical dive pool bar. The floor feels soggy like its been wet for a decade. The aroma smell like a 50 year old cocktail waitress that been smoking for 45 years. The pool tables are in remarkablely great shape given the fact that the building looks like its about to cave in on itself any moment.

This is what a real pool hall is supposed to be! A good variety of tables, not too crowded, not too smoky and a fun friendly staff. Ive been to a lot of pool halls. Casino pasch to joints that you get ball in hand when a cockroach gets on the table! Slims is somewhere in the middle. Its the friendly staff and other patrons that makes it my favorite place to stop by whenever I come through here. Mattey, the bus boy/waiter took great care of us. Youd be lucky to get him to wait on you.

Awesome place in general, bartender sucked. Very rude and selfish. Im a bartender myself and I tip how Im treated. As I expect for myself. Bartender asked me why I dont tip. I let her know I tip you you treat me and if Im especially sitting at your bar and you dont pay attention to me for over 45 mins then your tip goes down. Did she know I tip at the very end no. Did she get a tip from me? Very little on the attitude and the fact she took more shots at the bar then I bought at the bar itself. I probably will never be back.

I had a good time in past. But on 9/14/13, I had a awful experience with a new bar-tender Kyla when she charged me more money than I owed, made very racial comments and had someone threaten me and my friends. This is the first time in 11 years in US that I ever experienced this kind of racial discrimination and threat considering the fact that I stood up for what is right.
