Our server was very unfriendly. Clearly there was something going on for him, perhaps he was having a bad day. Another server came throughout the meal and seemed to be trying to make up for the situation, but overall it was a very unpleasant experience. It was disappointing as we were taking our daughter out for a special graduation dinner, and every single interaction with him was extremely awkward and unpleasant. The food was good but slightly on the average side. The ambiance was very pleasant.

We stumbled upon this place by chance and so glad we did. This place is new and looks fancy AF, but dont be scared by that. This place looks 5 star, but the menu is mostly reasonably priced depending on what you want to try. They have a good-sized menu fusion of Vietnamese, Thai, and Chinese dishes. Tried the chicken wings, gloves provided, and they were crispy, saucy, and really good! The beef pho tastes like an authentic home made with lots of noodles and meats, we could hardly finish it!! The Shaken beef was so delicious, Soft, tender, juicy and flavorful, it was so good. Prices are overall pretty good, but they have some pricy dishes if you want to get fancy and try something like Lobster pho. There are some other dishes I cant wait to try, so I will definitely come back.

We will not go back. Lunch prices ok, dinner prices are ubsurd. Service was mediocre considering we were 1 of 2 couples in there. We had to ask for soy twice, my soda 3 times that came out at the end of my meal. Water on table was warm had to ask twice for cups of ice. The spring rolls were really warm....yuck, they are always chilled and fresh when we get them other places. Egg rolls were over cooked and cold and tasted reheated or precooked. We seriously prayed to not get sick if they cant get food temperatures right. Lunch portion was still a bit on the small side, but ok given we ordered other stuff. The meal my hubby ordered the meat tasted like it was soaked in water....eeew. My meal was just missing something. The fried rice was bland and boring. Not worth the price we paid. Pretty inside though.

Food was amazing and service was was amazing as well. We had the fresh spring rolls, crab fried rice and shrimp pad Thai. Hands down the best pad Thai I ve had. Flavors were perfectly balanced. My husband ate every grain of rice so I assume he was impressed. Our server was very attentive and catered to our every request. Atmosphere is very upscale feeling. Try it, you won t be disappointed.

I was recommended about Pho in this restaurant that I must try out. I chose Ribs noodle soup and I was amazed; the broth which is the heart of the whole noodle bowl was a star go aside with fresh meat, the aroma from it made you want to eat it at the moment they bring it out. Rice with short ribs also delicious as the meat marinated very nicely and go well with rice.

For all intents and purposes this restaurant should be open so I placed an order for pickup through skipli which is linked in TJades website. The order was never acknowledged by the restaurant and they didnt answer their phone. I needed to venture out regardless and stopped by in case there was some mistake, but all of the doors were lock though their signs are on. Now I get to see if the charge to my bank for the food Im not receiving will clear in a few days or not.

This week was our second visit to Tjades and the food was excellent again. We had the egg rolls, pork chop, and bbq pork wonton soup. It was all really delicious. Plus WOW, the atmosphere is truly stunning! The restaurant is in a new shopping center and we re spreading the word to our friends. We especially liked that they could accommodate a larger group and had a nice wine selection. Definitely give Tjades a try!

Our first time dining at Tjades this afternoon. What a pleasant experience, it s brand new, beautifully decorated. The staff is super friendly and the food was excellent. We had the Pork Belly Bao- so good!! We also tried the Lobster YEE Mein, WOW!! All I can say is my husband liked his fingers clean!! I tried a Grilled pork vermicelli bowl and I had to bring half the dish home. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be adding Tjades as a new FAV in CP!! Best of luck!!!

I can feel the management or owner was trying hard to impressed us. But, sadly, I have to give them this feed back. It had little weird vibe i this place. just things were not clicking together. 1. Air freshener smell was giving us headache for everyone in my table. 2. waiting staff was trying hard to please us but they didnt know where to put food. 3 no music.. It felt like I was in college library. Food was ok I would give 75 percent overall. but experience was the killed everything for sure.

Food here is great, people are friendly, and the space looks nice. I tried their duck noodles with wontons, imperial fish, and pad thai (forgot to take photo of the pad thai). + Duck noodles: much better than 1618 because the duck portion is generous and juicy. The broth is very flavorful: There are plenty jujubes and lychees that are used to make the broth in the bowl. + Imperial fish: crispy, and big for the price. I love how they gave us pineapple in the veggie because it works extremely well in the rolls, adding a little freshness and sweetness. They gave us 2 sauces to try: fish sauce and (I think) Thai tamarine sauce. Both tasted amazing. + Pad thai: I dont know what they put in this, but this is the most aromatic pad thai I have ever eaten. Im guessing they put a little more lime leaves than normal (but Im not sure). Will definitely eat this again!

We went there Friday night 5/10/24. My husband and I ordered the crispy fish and a vegetable dish. The food is decent but the payment practice is misleading. The waiter presented the credit card machine to my husband with only the total while the tip% is the only choice for customer to pick. We were NOT told that 18% service charge is already included in the total. My husband selected 18% tip on the credit card machine then paid. I later received the credit card charge alert then questioned my husband why 2 dishes costed us near $115. He gave me the paper receipt with the details. Food: $77 Tax: $6.35 18% service charge: 13.86 Total: $97.21 Tip:$17.5 ( this is the choice on the credit card machine which is 18% of the Total) Credit card charge:$114.71 We ended paying over $30 of service and tip for our $77 food oder. The waiter should have told us that 18% is already in the total instead of making us to choose the tip %.

My family came in and they said there was a 20 min wait. We didn t mind. There was 4 tables inside at the time. Still not upset. After 30 mins, they came and told us there are no longer serving any additional customers. Worse service I have ever experienced in my life. They told me to write my number down so they can call me back when they were accepting customers again. Thats kind of hard when you live 4 hours away. 10/10 would not recommend.

It s an upscale Asian cuisine without the need to have formal attire. Tjade s offers Vietnamese, Thailand and Chinese flavors and the food presentation as good as advertise pictures. When here, three regions appetizer is a must! from Vietnamese eggrolls, spring rolls, pork belly buns, pork sausage skewers to sugar cane shrimp is to die for, along with three unique sauces for dipping. I ordered the roast duck with rice. Duck meat was tender and just melt in your mouth full of flavors, I wish there were more than just a quarter of the duck, but no complaints here, will be back for second round. Wife had rice pork chops (short rib on the menu), came with two pork chops! I had to try for honest reviews, it is well marinade. However, it is a bit dry for me, wish it could have some fats to blend in with the pork chop. Overall, it is a great experience and relaxing for dining, exceptional services, highly recommend and we ll be back for more delicious foods!

The minute you walk in, you feel like you re in a swanky restaurant that s going to be pricey. Decor is beautiful, luxurious even. There was a pleasant fragrance that hung in the air. Wait staff were polite and attentive (maybe even a little too attentive - I had my glass of water filled to the brim every time I took a sip). I should have know the food would have been sub par just by looking at the menu which was in stark contrast to the decor. Several items were crossed out. I decided to try their roast duck and rice with stir fried garlicky Chinese broccoli. The veg dish came first and it was alright. Tasty enough. The roast duck however tasted like it was frozen then thawed and microwaved. Super boney, hardly any meat on the bones, what little meat I got off of it was rubbery. It came with steamed rice and steamed bok choy with zero taste. The duck sauce was sweet and I was hoping for something salty. To be fair they did provide a side of salt and pepper. For the cost of the roast duck, I felt that I could have gotten something fresher at the Chinese restaurant by MT supermarket off of Lamar. Perhaps I got the wrong dish. Perhaps they have others that are much better. But at about $30 a person, I ll pass. UPDATE: that night my stomach started hurting pretty bad and I felt nauseous. I only felt better after it all came out. So updating my rating on the food to 1 star.

I had high hopes for this new place, but they need some work. The restaurant is beautiful on the inside, but the food was inconsistent. Depending on what type of asian food you are into, you will love it or not be a fan. We ordered 4 dishes plus the sampler appetizer. The appetizer (A1) was very good. Great presentation and it tasted great. The other dishes were as follows: Pho, Com Suan-grilled pork with rice, stir fried squid, and scallop/shrimp with pasta. The pho was nothing to write home about-the broth could have been hotter. The stir fried squid was too sweet and the squid was too chewy. The scallop/shrimp with pasta was nothing like the picture. The picture shows the scallops shrimp nicely seared, but my shrimp and scallops had not a single seared mark on them. They just looked liked someone just tossed them into the wok for a few minutes and the the sauce was too sweet and had no flavor. I had to dump a lot of the chili paste into my dish to get any flavor. The pork chop dish was also dry and flavorless. If you like Americanized asian food, this may be for you. Spent about $127 total and was not impressed.

The restaurant is decorated nicely, but the food is mediocre at best. I would be concerned about food poisoning. There were gnats in the restaurant and the sauces had old skin on top. So, who knows how long its been sitting out. This place needs some serious help. The menu is HUGE and has great pictures, but the food you are served looks nothing like the menu pictures. The food looks old. It just seems like they dont care about food quality.

Beautiful ambiance and clean. Staff is nice and would walk around to refill water for you. They just opened for like 3-4 days when we came so the dishes that we want to try were kit available. Food is not what we were expecting. Sweet chili shrimp stir fry was too sweet. Yes, the dish is named sweet chili but the level of sweetness was too much for us. Pad Thai was so soggy and salty. The presentation was not good either due to too much sauces. I hope they could improve over time. Update: came back another time as I want to support Vietnamese businesses but again, the food is not what we expected. We were disappointed. Everything is so sweet. -

We ordered appertizer fried squids with Satay sauce but the size of squids didnt match with photo menu and we are not convinced with the explanation given. I was really excited so today me and my friends visit the restaurant for a dinner , the first thing I enter in the restaurant is the amazing view , the decorated very modern style Best For Picture customer service with 10 out of 10 . I highly recommend this restaurant! It s a beautiful place and the atmosphere was very welcoming and comforting. They have a pretty big menu and everything was very tasteful to the point! We went for their soft opening and they did an Amazing job. Of course there were kinks that needed to be worked out logistically but I m giving them 5 stars for their food. Their sauces are all distinctive and pleasant. Must try dish would be the chicken wings and the Ginger lobster. The size of the wings, red snapper, & or lobster is worth the price. The lamb chops were perfectly Cooked. The salt and pepper squid were tasty! Their drinks are refreshing and flavorful. The ambiance is cozy. The space was spacious and the table we had was positioned nicely for a larger group. They had a party of 20 before us so the food took a little longer to come out but they made sure to check on us every once in while and gave great customer service.
