The seafood bags are good... The calamari is ok, my wife enjoyed it! My wife went back a second time & had the crab cakes & she said they were not very good. She had a drink & said she would go back for the drink. They have a huge tv screen in the center, which gives a nice touch to the atmosphere...

Celebrated my baby 16th birthday here and we really enjoyed our experience!!! Our server Z was very patient and accommodating with ALL our needs- which was a lot so thank you girl lols- our food was delicious from the hh apps to the boils! Loved the all day hh and the lemon drop shots the most! They have a really nice vibe in here and we were greeted with mostly smiling faces during our visit- thank you crafty crab and Z for contributing to making my baby boy birthday special! Ill be back for sure!

The Food At Crafty Crab was Delicious and fresh. I ordered the fried catfish basket with shrimp and fries. The catfish basket normally comes with multiple pieces of fish. But it looks like they cut a whole fillet in half and made it stretch. (I was alittle disappointed because of that) But I will rate my overall experience a 7.5 (since my fish was halved.) My server customer service was great! I do believe that they might need to train their staff a little more about how the kitchen works. The atmosphere was immaculate! This location used to be a Joes Crab Shack. But crafty crab definitely made it look way better especially with the big screen for every sporting event! I will definitely recommend this place to anyone feeling Shellfish

Our first try at about 5 PM on a Friday. I ordered take-out upon arriving in person and planned on waiting. Ordered a shrimp basket and a chicken strip basket. Asked for tartar sauce with the shrimp basket. The young lady who took my order was pleasant and helpful, but told me it would take 15-minutes. Kind of long for a restaurant that only had a few customers and maybe six at the bar. I walked over to the bar and stood where you normally stand to place an drink order. Stood there about 4 minutes and was not acknowledged in any way by the two staff who were behind the bar. Finally I spoke to one of the bar staff, a Sprite or 7-up please. The lady who I addressed did not reply to me or make eye contact, but simply said something to the person at the hostess stand across the restaurant, who then came to inform me I would need to order a drink at the front. I was charged $3.79 for the drink which was Sierra Mist or something (not 7-up or Sprite). An aside, this drink had a off taste, like plastic or something. I let the hostess, know and she apolegised and offered to replace my drink. After the majority of 15-minutes, someone brought me my order. I should have checked the order before I left, but my wife was waiting in our car. Upon getting home the first thing I noticed was a total absence of tartar sauce. I had ordered sweet potato fries and these were floppy and not crisp. The chicken strips were consistent with the sweet potato fries, barely done and actually not cooked in spots. I know better than eating undercooked chicken! My wife offered some of her fried shrimp, another unpleasant surprise, as the not crisp batter coated precooked shrimp (steamed like bought in a grocery store). Okay I recognize the issue with our order - simply the fryer oil temperature was too low, or there were too many items in the fryer. Either way, there appears to be a lack of quality checks before an order is delivered to a customer. My bad for not checking the order. I hope they can improve things, but it will be a while before I give the Crab another try.

Omg the food is delicious. The best I ve had here in Dallas. Excellent seasoning and flavor. I got the seafood boil special with Trio medium heat. Let me tell you . The food was absolutely delicious. The greeting and service was excellent. The atmosphere was pretty nice, but the DJ was a little too loud for my liking. It gave more of a bar/ club atmosphere. All in all it was a good experience and we would definitely recommend and return! Our server was Ashley and she was very attentive. Not a family place! My spouse brought be there as a surprise because I miss the seafood I had access too in Florida but moved to Texas. The food was good! King crab was hard to get open because the shell would not crack, it would bend and it was over cooked but still good! Service we saw her twice. But this is not a family place! The music was loud and inappropriate I couldn t believe it! It was during a week day but sounded like a ghetto club! It was dirty and it s a seafood restaurant so I was scared to eat but the music was so loud and embarrassing I didn t want to upset the employees. Don t bring your kids.

This spot is definitely in need of advertising to get more exposure! There s really no reason for it not to be a line out the door. The atmosphere was great, with a giant screen in the middle of the room, perfect for football season! There was a DJ the night we went so the vibes were just right. The food was amazing and they had cheap drink specials. Happy hour all day and you cannot beat $2.99 margaritas! To top it off, the service was excellent. Our waitress Latrice was so friendly! I would highly recommend this spot to anyone. The only thing they need is more customers to really complete the vibe!

When I started to place my order I asked if I could sample the boom sauce as I was going to spend over $200 for me and my coworkers meals and that we would be coming back to spend more money with the establishment! Basically the young lady told me no and that it really didn t matter if we would come back to do more business with them because the kitchen would not approve a sample. The boom sauce was watery and salty! Which is why they probably denied me a sample! They only care about getting your money and not the customer service! On top of that, the food was horrible! They missed out on a good opportunity because we spend money like that every week on seafood! Back to crabnbar we go!!! That s what I get for cheating on Crabnbar anyway this place won t be opened for long.

I went with a group to enjoy their happy hour and food but the experience was all but HORRIBLE by the MANAGEMENT of the establishment. Our waitress was really good. However, it took over 40 minutes for everyone at the table to get their food. But they got my order and another member of my party food order wrong. The waitress offered to send the orders back and have them to fix the orders. We waited another 45 minutes on food , so we proceeded to ask to speak with the manager. However, they sent this teenager out to speak ( we know he wants not the manager) with us who indicated they were just starting to prepare our food , SMH -45 minutes after the orders going back to the kitchen. Again we asked to speak with the MANAGER and no one from management ever came to speak with us. They sent out several of the server s to their dirty work. Again , the wait staff were great, it s the management that SUCKS. Customer service go a long way with me and when the service is HORRIBLE, especially by Management will always kill the business. We need to stop allowing people in our community who refuse to give good customer service to those who patronize their establishment. We are the once s who keep your business going. Know that this will be my last time going to this establishment. I spend my money where the service is impeccable , especially from the leadership. I went home mad and hungry!

What a great experience!! This was my first time stopping in the Cedar Hill Crafty Cran location. There was a DJ that made you want to stop eating to hit any open space to dance. My 1/2 lb snow crab and shrimp boil with medium heat Boom mix was pretty good even though I had to pay extra to add sausage and boiled eggs. I didn t have alcoholic beverages but the selection was plenty and drink specials available. 10 out of 10 (or 5 out of 5 per the rating scale lol). I d return.

This was THE WORST service I have ever experienced in any eating establishment!! We only waited about 10 minutes for our table after we arrived. Our server showed up to our table in street clothes. He took our drink and appetizer order. The drinks came about 10 minutes later with only three packets of sweetner, which two of us had asked for. After our order was taken, we literally never saw the server again. The hostess/manager brought out our appetizer 30 minutes later. We asked her for refills. After 45-50 minutes, we still never saw our server. Literally every table that had been seated after us, was getting their food served before us. I flagged down the hostess that came back and said that it would be 3-5 minutes for our order. The original server came to our table with our food about 25 minutes later and literally threw the food down on the table and walked away. We had no utensils, we needed more condiments and refills, and the cracker for the crab legs. I again, retrieved the hostess/manager and told her that we still needed items, and that our server had just thrown our order on the table and left. She came back to our table with the needed items and apologized for the delay. She said she would discount our meal for us. She took off $0.35/drink, $1.80/for each basket, and $4.80 off of the boil bag. Our total was still $97. I gave $0 tip. The food was not bad, but for the terrible service, we will NOT return.

I had the half dozen scallops for 12.99$- they were smaller than I expected so I was a little disappointed. The service was slow not too sure why, especially since it wasn t that many people dining, maybe they could ve been short staffed idk.
