Mrs. Pinkerton is a blessing to me and others that needs an understanding lawyer that listen to her clients. I had been trying to get divorced for over 25 years and couldnt get a fair amount to pay. Mrs. Pinkerton worked with me on my payments and Im happy and divorced. Covid held up the speed of it all. Shes no nonsense type of lawyer, that is what you need. She also do land titles and children custody etc. Check her out and she was the 2020 lawyer of the year in Cedar Hill, Tx . You will not regret.

Look. OBVIOUSLY no one wants to talk to me because Ive left several messages here on your website and when I call your phone number I get a PLEASE DIAL THE EXTENSION OF THE PARTY YOU WANT TO REACH which is all fine and dandy IF I KNEW WHO I NEEDED TO TALK TO. I dont know who does what in your office. Annoying. Response to their reply: Ive called during your posted business hours AND left several messages through your website. No one returned my msg or called. Whatever chat service/web host you are using you need to talk to them because obviously nothing is getting through.

We needed legal advice and found Kim Pinkerton. We paid up front a $100 consultation fee (even though their website stated free consultations). While she spent a good deal of time with us, we didnt feel we got the best guidance/advice (after finding an attorney who gave us excellent advice, was eager to help and followed through). When we tried contacting her office after sending requested documents and to follow up, calls/emails were not returned. When confronted, she sends me a long email full of excuses that they are busy, have other clients and have been in court. But what got me most was you havent retained us. It wasnt for our lack of trying.

I fired her! She is MOST definitely not the lawyer to fight for you in a custody battle! She didnt care about my case, I only talked to her the day before what she said would only be mediation. I lost full custody of my child because I was misinformed, she was unprepared & unconcerned, then went to trial when she said would only be mediation (therefore I had no witnesses & he had several), & after trial she told me, its not the end of the world! I wish I could give Zero stars instead!!!! I want a full refund!!

It would appear that some of your Facebook friends and employees post 5-Star Google reviews for Pinkerton. Our daughter ought to have researched your firm on State Bar of Texas to see that there was a Public Reprimand against Pinkerton instead of relying on what I believe are some questionable Google reviews. However, our daughter chose your firm and was not happy about poor communication and will now choose another firm for representation.

I was in a tuff custody battle, I know I was at fault on things that would haunt me but Kimberly turned my negative into positive, I went through numerous attorneys I didnt like their response! After Kimberlys response I knew she was good! Long story short after 4 months I now have full custody of my kids when 5 attorneys told me I would never get my kids back, I really appreciate the attorney believing in me and how professional she was and her staff!!!!!!!

Pinkerton Law Firm is #1 on my list of excellent law firms. I had a very troublesome case that seemed to be impossible for anybody to help me with. I had an extremely difficult case and went to several lawyers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and not one of them were of any help nor of use. Worked with them a couple of times at least. Jumps on things quickly and responds to calls and emails so there is no concern that things are being handled. Not only has Kim become a key member of our team for business but shes become a friend through working together to solve problems. Would highly recommend for personal or business when legal needs come into play.

I was in a really bad situation with the Biological father to my child . He was no good and I just wanted to get rights of my little girl to make her safe. The first lawyer I had was TERRIBLE , had her for 7 months and nothing was done I never even saw a court room. I worked with Kim and everything moved so fast and she is so professional and Joann was outstanding . They both are so knowledgeable and made me feel protected and that I was doing the right thing as my past lawyer I seriously cried because she would tell me I was being selfish. If I ever need any future law help or my friends and family need it I will always refer and go to Kim . It was the best experience for being in a not so good situation. Thank you Kim and Joann !!

I am usually not a big fan of lawyers-- most of them dont seem to care that much about their clients. Kimberly Pinkerton is the exception. Every case is different and Im glad that others had a positive experience, but mine was not. I will not bash her character because thats not what REVIEWS are for, but I will tell of my experience... Kimberly Pinkerton was my lawyer for a year and after the 1st court appearance I should have changed lawyers. I was trying to get a divorce from a man that had been charged and convicted of Dometic Violence. She NEVER showed any empathy, she never was prepared before we went into the courtroom and when we got there she basically tried to WING IT or befriend the other lawyers to see what questions they were going to ask so she would know what direction she should go. She told the lawyer information I told her in confidence and the lawyer REPEATED what she said! During the trial for the restraining order, she did such a POOR job in asking questions that the judge recalled my ex-husband to the stand and asked him questions that Kimberly should have asked! I gave her documents that she LOST and I then had to resend them to her or provide them to her when we were in court... During the pre-final decree hearing my husband was told to pay me 1000.00 per month and provide the documents for his retirement. The FINALIZATION of the divorce (the judge signs the decree) was a month and half later and during that time my ex NEVER paid me anything and NEVER provided Kim with the retirement documents. I called every week asking her had his lawyer provided the information and she would say, No, but my assistant sent him an email. I got upset with her answer and she advised that she cant make someone give her something and I said, Yes, you can, thats why we have courts! I felt she was very passive and her knowledge regarding divorces was limited. Im not a lawyer, thats why I hired one, but during this ordeal I had to read, call others and even called a hotline provided by my job that answers legal questions and then provide her with the information! Even though I went through all that I still wouldnt have been upset with her or lose every ounce of respect for her if she had showed up for the signing of the decree and inform the judge that the orders that had previuosly been ordered were not being upheld. She knew a month in advance the date and time that the opposing lawyer would have the judge sign the decree and she didnt show up or notify the courts that the opposing council did not provide the requested documents. To add insult to injury when I called her out on it she became defensive and advised me that if I wanted her to go after my ex-husband, Id have to pay her MORE money to file the needed documents. I felt if she had did her job from the beginning, I wouldnt be paying again! I have ALL email communication, Id NEVER lie or try to tarnish someones character, but I am paying another lawyer to do the job I paid her to do and I think its unfair. I dont want anyone else to go through what I went through. I wish her the best, but if you are facing a DIFFICULT divorce SHE IS NOT the lawyer for you!

Mrs. Pinkerton made me feel as if I was her number one priority and ensured I was comfortable with everything. She was very honest, ethical and easy to communicate with. I even referred a friend of mine when he was going through a divorce and he was handled as if he was a member of the family! She has to be one of the best attorneys in the DFW metroplex. I never felt like I was just another case. Ms. Pinkerton made it a point to make me feel like my case was the most important case she had. Ms. Pinkerton is realistic and and honest when assessing your case. I was going through a very difficult custody battle and she helped me get through the rough patches and kept me focused on the real issue which was the best interest of my children.
