If I could, I wouldnt give it any stars, the popusas were all raw, they didnt even let the cheese melt, the Cuban cake tasted like old oil, I dont recommend that place at all, the only thing they have left is Coca Cola.

Food is hot and seasoned well, but its overpriced for what you get. My rice platter came with some chicken fajitas, rice, and plain lettuce with thin tomato ends. It was missing beans, which I specifically confirmed it came with. I ordered two of these to go and the total was ~$35 (included this to be helpful as they dont list prices on their menus). For $17.5 each, Id like to feel full after my meal.

I found this place online- randomly looking for Papusas near me . First of all- the customer service was excellent. I walked in not knowing the menu at all. The gentleman behind the counter offered me a menu and enthusiastically- but patiently- answered all my questions about the food options. They cooked everything fresh to order. I relaxed and waited for my food. So fast! The smells were amazing! Everything was still hot when I got home. Papusas were delicious/slaw was perfect! Enchiladas and Al Pastor- new favorites! What a great random food experience.

We went there to get tortas and they charged me $48 + $7 tip for three tortas and 3 cokes which is too expensive for this restaurant. And after 10 minutes waiting someone came to our table and said we don t have bread to make tortas. I said okay just return the money and we go. They gave me $33 back and said $12 for coke. Worst service and atmosphere ever. Not gonna go back there they over charge you and don t give your money back

Totally bad service. Around 3:50 PM I called to place an order and the owner told me it would be ready in 15 minutes, I said ok my husband will be there and I said thank you very much she didnt even reply back and just hung up. My husband got there in 20 minutes and it was CLOSED! I called and nobody picked up the phone. In your advertisement it says that it closes at 9PM and why didnt you tell me that they were going to close soon and that they couldnt take more orders? Well sold and they still serve you as if they were doing you a favor. REMEMBER: THEY HAVE BUSINESS BECAUSE OF THE CUSTOMERS BUT THEY ARE THE SAME CUSTOMERS WHO CAN MAKE YOU CLOSE WHEN YOU ARE NOT KIND. Never back again. Not that it was the only place.

$27 for 12 soggy tamales. As soon as I opened the foil, and unwrapped the husk, the masa literally fell apart all slimy like chunks of baby food. I immediately drove back there, cook insisted their tamales were fresh. We brought back 10/12 tamales to try and get most of the money back. Store owner refused prorated refund and offered half the total($13), as he expected me to pay for his labor. They had a teenage girl interpreting. She was in the middle and I felt bad for her cause she knew it was BS. Told them to keep the money and left.

I see people here talk about how fair the prices were. Some people here talk about how the people who work here are rude. Everybody talks about the food. Gather round chores and let Uncle Chow spin ya a yarn.... I was hungry. I mean starving. Im a big man who loves food. Currently Im considerably smaller than I used to be because I have only been living in DFW for aboutb18 months now. I am from Chicago, not putting anyone down, but Chicago knows food. Im sure I just developed a different pallette but I can find anything here that blows some wind up my skirt. This place had good food. Carne Asada tacos tasted just like home. I went in, the only one there, and managed to convey my order using a mix of broken Spanish to the waitresses broken English. Within 5 min I watched 3 more people come in and ace orders. For some reason I was the last to get my food, by like 10 mins. I waited forever to the point I nearly said something. There are no prices on the menu board. 8 tacos plain and a 20oz attic bottle of Coke for 22.50 Thats alot if money for that food, and what was with the wait? It seemed the people who came in and spoke Spanish got preferential service, whatever. Such a shame because like I said, the food was good. But I wont be back.

The food is authentic as it gets to some home cooking. I had the Cuban torta which is one of the few ever at a restaurant that has winnies in it. I also had tacos de fajita and al pastor both were delicious. The pupusas are all well made. This is definitely a great place to go have some Mexican and Salvadorian authentic food. I typically dont like Mexican restaurants because they can feel too commercial but this is definitely a great spot! Definitely coming back here!

The first time we came here the food was as good as it gets, we came for the second and last time today. My girlfriend ordered a beef broth that was just water with pieces of meat floating with no flavor at all, I ordered a breakfast that came swimming in fat, the same with no flavor at all. My girlfriend and I decided to tell the lady in a good way about the food, only for her to get upset and kick us out. Well, better places have kicked me out, lady, and I just hope I dont get sick and have to go to the hospital because its not a threat. Madam, this is a warning, if I get sick because of your food, I will sue the health department... Thank you very much, but even if your food was FREE WE WILL NOT RETURN... Good luck.
