We worked with Danielle as our planner and Gabi as our event coordinator! During the wedding process we had a switch from another wedding planner to Danielle! Before Danielle- we ran into some miscommunication ans hiccups during the process. Danielle came in and really changed my view on Walter s planning services! She was a dream to work with. She answered questions promptly, was clear throughout the process and if there was any on confusion on either end- she made sure to reach out and clarify! We really appreciate her and feel so lucky that she became our planner. I could tell how much she really cared about my day and how successful she wanted it to be for me!! Thanks Danielle!! Gabi was an amazing day of coordinator!!! She was my go to girl and made sure my vision was really brought to life that day- all while making sure my husband and I were taken care of! She made we always had a drink in our hand and smile on our face! She was helpful, prompt, and kind!! You rock Gabi!!

Morgan creek barn was the perfect venue for our destination wedding! Walters wedding estates having a whole team that comes with booking the venue made planning the day and getting the perfect vendors efforless and stress free. Cari- our day of coordinator was a true rockstar in helping to get all the final details together and make sure the whole day went off perfectly and without a hitch ( at least none that we know about)! Gracie and the team at Morgan Creek Barn did a fabulous job for my wedding! I had zero stress throughout the entire planning process, the planning team took care of so many details and made everything very easy to manage. The DJ Nolan was absolutely incredible. Everyone was very easy to get ahold of and were super responsive to any questions I had. The wedding day went absolutely perfectly - no snags or issues. Gracie helped everything to run smoothly and on time and my family and I were able to sit back and enjoy the day rather than stressing about coordinating everything. I would highly highly recommend Morgan Creek Barn to everyone looking for a gorgeous and stress-free wedding!

We recently got married at Morgan Creek Barn! It was truly amazing. We chose this venue because it included everything we needed and was BEAUTIFUL! We worked with Abby during planning and she did a great job of answering questions and making sure we had what we wanted. Malorri was our day of coordinator and she was phenomenal. There was not a single thing I had to worry about day of because she had it under control. She consistently checked on us throughout the night and really helped make our day one to remember. I wish I could do it again! Also would definitely recommend the Photo Booth so many fun pictures came from it.

We absolutely loved our wedding at Morgan Creek Barn! We worked with Abby S, Gabi M, and Danielle G, who were all extremely helpful and responsive. The venue itself is gorgeous, and we were very happy with all of the in-house vendors we booked as part of our all-inclusive package (catering, DJ, photography, photo booth, stationery, and luxury exit vehicle). As an LGBTQ+ couple, we always felt welcomed and accepted. The planning process was very smooth and seamless. Highly recommend this venue!

Our wedding at Morgan Creek Barn Dripping Springs was undeniably beautiful. The venue itself exudes elegance and charm, requiring minimal decor to create a stunning ambiance. The included services, including the open bar, lighting, cold sparks, and DJ, added to the magic of the day. While the day-of coordinator was helpful in many aspects, there were some notable hiccups that affected our experience. Unfortunately, there were timing issues and a mishap with the recording during our toasts and speeches. This might have also been compounded by coordination challenges with the catering service, which was handled separately from the venue. During the wedding planning process, we managed to get everything done, but communication with the team and wedding planner was not as seamless as we would have preferred. It was sometimes challenging to reach them when needed, leading to a bit of frustration. Additionally, although the DJ provided a lively atmosphere, they didnt play all of the songs we had requested. Despite these issues, both the ceremony and reception were memorable and enjoyable. On the downside, we encountered some issues with the bar staff, who were occasionally rude. However, the drinks served were of high quality, which was a saving grace. One significant issue was that the day-of coordinator disappeared for a large part of the ceremony, causing some stress and confusion. Overall, Morgan Creek Barn Dripping Springs operates like a well-oiled machine, with a few areas that could benefit from improvement, especially considering the prices. With some refinements in coordination, communication, and staff training, it has the potential to be a top-tier wedding destination. There were some areas that could have been improved to enhance our overall experience. Better coordination, communication, and responsiveness from the venues team, as well as improved professionalism from the bar staff, would have made a significant difference. Despite these challenges, the beauty of the venue itself made our wedding day truly special.

I ve had such a great experience with MCB! Raegan is PHENOMENAL! She s thorough, knowledgeable, patient, and is very friendly. She always has an answer to my questions, and is very informative. She is a mom, like myself, which we bonded over! She is so personable and definitely knows the wedding industry. Morgan s Creek is ABSOLUTELY beautiful and it is such a great location, it s secluded but not hard at all to locate. Overall im very impressed!

My wife and I just got married here. I worked with Abby and Gabi for my wedding and theyre absolutely amazing. My dad went to the hospital the day before my wedding and coukdnt come, Gabi did everything she could to make sure our wedding day was as perfect as it could be and made sure everything ran smooth and it did. It was even raining and it was still the most perfect day it could have been. If you want the most perfect day of coordinator as for Gabi if you can. We had our wedding on a Thursday, so around 9 most of everyone was gone due to work the next day and the storm, all the rest of the staff came out for sparklers. Also, DJ Nolan was great too!

Our Dream Wedding: We just got married here, and I can t recommend it enough. Great location, beautiful indoor and outdoor areas, and stunning architecture. Plenty of parking and a beautiful view. The venue team, Abby, Gracie, and Caleb truly went above and beyond to make our wedding special. They were all amazing and helpful throughout the entire process. They also work with fantastic vendors. The food was absolutely delicious. There was nothing we wouldve changed. They really paid attention to all of our requests and made the wedding of our dreams come true. I have had several family members also rave about how stunning the venue was and how they had such an amazing time. Just recently got married at Morgan Creek Barn! This has been my dream venue for so long and getting to make it my actual reality was beyond amazing! I had such a stress free day with Gabi as my coordinator! She came in checking on me throughout the day and took care of so much! Making sure everyone was where they were supposed to be so everything ran smooth and according to schedule! This girl went above and beyond (even making me chug some waters in between my drinks lol) but even was out with us on the dance floor which makes me feel like she does this to really work with her brides and make sure they have the best time on their special day! I would highly suggest this venue as for a DIY bride as the venue is so gorgeous on its own and needed very little decor! I loved doing most of the things in house as to not have to find vendors and search to make sure everything is done! 1000000x recommend this venue for any couple!!

Morgan Creek Barn is a beautiful venue that provides a number of services you can add into your contract (Planning/Coordination, DJ, Catering, Linens, etc.). Raegan assisted us with booking and was very attentive to our questions and needs throughout the process. We really appreciated how responsive her communication was. The package options are presented in a clear way when you first tour, but we do wish the venue would have been more transparent on the front end about customization options they offered us later at a reduced price compared to the packages as well as unseen costs like the high catering tasting fees. We really appreciated being able to centralize our vendors, minimizing the amount of research and coordination we needed to do on our own. The DJ we worked with, Nolan, did a great job, and we received so many compliments from our guests about the Walters Wedding Estates catering. We worked with Abby for Wedding Planning and Gabi for Day of Coordination Services. The Planning Services were not as helpful as we hoped. They primarily consist of a few meetings to stay on track with organizing details that pertained to Walters. While the meetings are helpful if you dont know where to start or what you want, most of it could have been done through a fillable form. We had difficulty reaching out planning POC multiple times, despite clarifying the best forms of communication, which was frustrating. The most valuable service was definitely the Day Of Coordination. Gabi was excellent to work with, and we highly recommend her. She was consistent in her communication, reliable, and truly helped our day run smoothly. She did a good job of keeping our timeline on track, even with the team being short staffed that day. She was attentive without being overbearing and did a good job staying calm, which is one of the best gifts a coordinator can give a couple on their wedding day.

This venue is beyond amazing! The location and facilities are beautiful. The staff was so attentive and the day of coordinator, Gabi made the day incredibly easy with no stress. The bridal suite had plenty of room and outlets for the entire party to enjoy getting ready together. The chapel is gorgeous and the evergreen trees swaying in the wind behind the picturesque window really add to the beauty of the ceremony. Honestly the chapel needs very little decoration because it simply elegant on its own. The outdoor space is great for cocktail hour and dancing although in January it was a little chilly for that. The reception space is also amazing. There is plenty of space. It is nice not to have to turn over a space to use like so many venues. The bar is nice and large, plenty of dancing space and the fireplace with the fire added a special touch for the winter wedding. So many guests took pictures in front of it. If you can request Gabi as your day of coordinator I highly recommend her. No request or question was too small for her. If you are looking for the absolute perfect venue Morgan Creek Barn is it!!

Morgan Creek is a rustic yet classy venue for weddings and other gatherings. It has two buildings and an outdoor courtyard in between. One building is smaller in size and worked well to accommodate 100 to 200 guests for the wedding ceremony. The larger building has a bar that is open to both the outdoor courtyard and the inside dining facility. The only downside is guests have to travel to Dripping Springs on highway 290 which right now is undergoing construction with heavy traffic during rush hour. Hotel choices in the area are also somewhat limited. Overall, it is worth consideration for your special events.

Went here for a week day wedding and reception. Super cute farmhouse vibe church and reception hall. I didn t take any photos of the church as we were asked to put our phones away during the vows to enjoy the moment Every wedding should ask that of their guests. No distractions that way. After the vows, we were asked to go into the hall while family took photos in the church. In the reception hall, we were served a buffet style lunch of chicken breast, brisket, mac n cheese, green beans and salad, all prepared onsite. All was great tasting. Not sure if the cake was made by a recommended vendor or if they ordered it themselves but it was very pretty and delicious. The woman s restroom was cute inside but it only offered two stalls. It was big enough to accommodate more so not sure why they only built two. I could see it being crowded if you had more than 100 guests. This is a very nice venue in Dripping Springs. I would recommend checking it out if you are getting married. Super cute!

They provided everything from catering,coordinating,DJ,Photo Booth, decorations and anything they didn t offer they had local recommendations for. The team here was amazing. Abby Scarce was the biggest help during the stress of wedding planning. Abby Scarce is the most incredible wedding planner/coordinator ever ever ever!!! I truly cannot imagine our wedding day going as well as it did without this woman! We got so many comments from our wedding party, family and friends about Abby saying how she was the best coordinator they have ever seen- some of these people were already married, and said she was even better than who they hired! She kept everyone on schedule, in the right place, and did it all with a smile! She even helped our bridesmaids and groomsmen choreograph and practice their reception entrances. Abby was professional, kind, and could get stuff done which is always MUCH needed on a crazy wedding day. From the beginning of the wedding planning process, Abby was the absolute sweetest person to work with. She got to know me and my husband and helped us to make our wedding even better than we could have imagined. She was so incredibly organized and made sure we thought through every detail and she checked in on us especially in the couple weeks leading up to the big day. On the day of, she was peppy and was somehow everywhere all at once! She helped get all the decorations set up, got us ahead of schedule during pictures (which is quite the feat!) and helped everyone feel calm and ready the day of. At the reception, she ensured we were fed and made sure that my husband and I always had a drink in our hands. I wish I could express just how grateful we are to Abby! Words do not do this woman justice. If you ever get the opportunity/privilege to have Abby work with you on your wedding, know that you are in THE BEST HANDS POSSIBLE! My ~now~ husband and I got married at Morgan Creek Barn back in June and had a lovely experience. MCB was one of the first venues we toured and quickly fell in love with all of their beautiful renovations. I knew it was the one the moment we stepped into the chapel, it is absolutely as beautiful in person as it is in the photos. We loved that there was a space for every moment of the wedding from the getting ready suites to the chapel, the courtyard space for cocktail hour to the reception space it was the perfect fit for our day and style. MCB also offered a great package in which we felt we would not have to do too much organizing ourselves which was ideal. Once we booked with MCB we felt that the staff was professional and kind, and overall enjoyed our experience with them. Their communication could be slightly improved, as there was some occasional confusion that was not always addressed promptly. However, they do host so many weddings that it is completely understandable. Overall I would recommend this venue as it is a beautiful and unique space and their staff was friendly and professional. We are grateful for all the work they did and their role in making our day all the more special

My Husband and I chose this venue because of its beauty, the space it provided for our guests, and the all-inclusive options that would help ease the stress of planning for our big day. We were able to have most things included (tables, chairs, place settings, charger plates, table cloths, napkins, dj, bar service, a photo booth, up lighting, and catering in house) Abby was with us from start to finish--answering our questions, notifying us of events being held at the venue to help simplify our searches for other vendors we may need, and also helping us plan the timeline. Our Day of Coordinator, Gabi, was PHENOMENAL. She eased my fiancé when the stress of it all hit him (of course it took him until the rehearsal to feel it) lol. She made sure everything was placed in the right spots, our families were communicated with, us as the Bride and Groom had adult beverages and water when needed, and most importantly she kept us on time! And honestly, if we werent on time, we had no idea because everything ran so smoothly. Were a week past our wedding and I still have family and friends that are telling me how on it Gabi was. Overall, we were so pleased with how everything turned out. We cant thank the Walter Wedding Estates Team at Morgan Creek Barn enough for making it so special. I had my wedding here last weekend and Gabi was AMAZING!! Everyone in the wedding party raved about her because she really did save the entire day. She made our wedding a day me and my husband could relax while she managed everything. 100% could not have had a wedding without her, she did everything and more! Even gave us her pant leg to wipe champagne off our hands she s amazing. she took the stress off and handled everything so well. we couldn t have had a better wedding day all because of her! The Hawaiian buffet was surprisingly PHENOMENAL. The menus and the fact that we chose the buffet left me with little hope but the food was amazing, all of our guests had empty plates and told us how much they enjoyed the food and I broke the wedding stereotype and actually ATE on my wedding day! The only advice I would have for anyone using the in house DJ is you need to be SPECIFIC for what you want played at the reception (ie. we didn t want the DJ to play songs not on our playlist but didn t think to tell him beforehand).

My husband and I got married here on 9/14/23, and it was a wonderful experience. First of all, they rolled almost everything we needed into one package, which I know some people dont like, but it was perfect for us. They took care of venue, catering, bar, and DJ, all for a much more reasonable price than any other venue we had looked at (we did get married on a Thursday, which helped). Our DJ was amazing, the food was delicious, the drinks were great, and the venue was beautiful-- 4 for 4! Our representative was Abby S, and she was lovely and communicative throughout the year-and-a-half-long process. She was friendly and accommodating when I was waffling and going back and forth on certain decisions, and she helped smooth over some of the rough patches. Our day-of representative was Gabi, and she was phenomenal. She made it clear that she was 24-hours available to us from the day before the wedding to throughout the wedding day. It started hailing right after our ceremony and my husband and I were stuck in the chapel taking photos, and Gabi insisted on running out into the storm to get me an umbrella to keep my hair dry on the way to the reception hall! She made sure to manage the bridal party and keep everyone together, and would immediately run to get whatever or whoever I, my husband, or a member of the bridal party needed. She also made sure we had drinks all night long, worked closely with our photographers, and was in general just amazing!!! Now, for a couple cons: these are clearly decisions made by management, NOT flaws of the dutiful and attentive employees working for WWE, but I feel I should mention them, because management everywhere can always use a tune-up. 1. The portal is a good idea in theory, but it is extremely limited and in some aspects, nonfunctional. Firstly, my husband never got a single email-- mine was the only email that was utilized throughout the whole process, which did contribute to my stress. Also, I remember panicking a couple of times because our payment history on the portal just vanished, and I was unable to make a payment close to a due date. Documents we had signed and/or shared back and forth with Abby also often did not show in the Documents section of the portal. They also encourage you to use the portal for messaging, but that aspect completely does not work, because some messages have the entire thread attached to them, and others are single messages, so its impossible to keep track of communication through the portal. Plus, since there is no app that I know of, you can only use the portal on desktop, which is not helpful if I just got an email from my representative and I want to respond on the go-- Im just going to email her back on my phone. I suggest management heavily troubleshoot and potentially replace the portal-- at least the messaging aspect of it. 2. There was a bit of a hiccup during our tasting, where the caterers served a dish that no one, not even the representatives, had ever seen or heard anything about, which is clearly an example of poor internal communication by management (again, not the representatives fault-- if you dont tell them whats going on and the catering menu is set and distributed to customers beforehand, how are they supposed to anticipate that?) 3. We did have some sporadic communication from people we had never met before (Ashley and Camryn, I believe), and then we would never hear from them again, which was a bit confusing-- I assume it was a covering for people while theyre out situation, but I would have preferred to know the backstory, since we had a specifically assigned representative. Also, I got an email or two from someone else about a month out from the wedding that was clearly designed for someone who had just signed a contract and was at the beginning of their planning process. Very confusing. I am still leaving 5 stars because our wedding day truly could not have gone better, but there are a few things that management should certainly work on. Overall, we are extremely happy with our experience!!!

I recently had the pleasure of attending a wedding at Morgan Creek Barn in Dripping Springs and I cant express how incredible the experience was from start to finish. The venue itself was absolutely stunning, with its beautiful chapel and open reception space, making it the perfect backdrop for the special day. What truly set this venue apart was the excellent planning and operations staff. The wedding planner and coordinator, Abby, did an exceptional job. She was organized, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. The operations team, led by Glory, deserves praise as well. They seamlessly executed every aspect of the wedding, from setting up the reception hall to serving delicious food. The bar and waitstaff was attentive and professional, ensuring that guests were well taken care of throughout the evening. And last but not least, we had the pleasure of having Anna as our wedding DJ, and we couldnt have asked for a better experience. Her ability to read the crowd and keep the energy on the dance floor was remarkable. She seamlessly transitioned between songs, mixing our favorite tracks with skill and precision. My best friend recently hosted her wedding at Morgan Creek Barn and the event was absolutely fabulous! I work in the wedding industry myself, and was so, so impressed with the entire staff who helped make the day such a success. The Planning Representative, Abby, was instrumental in making the entire wedding weekend perfect. And, we were overjoyed when we learned she d continue with us as the day-of coordinator, as well. She managed our large group with ease through the rehearsal prior to wedding day, kept the big bridal party on task and on time day-of, and most importantly, made sure the bride and groom never lifted a finger. Abby is incredible at what she does, and I m so grateful for the time and effort she put in to make the event so special. Glory & the entirety of her operations team also made sure the night moved with efficiency, cleanliness, and polish. The venue was sparkling upon our arrival, the bar and buffet lines moved quickly, and dishes were bussed promptly throughout the night. Every member of the staff was so kind and professional. The team worked tirelessly to ensure a seamless evening, and it was evident! CoHost Entertainment also made the event spectacular. DJ Anna was an awesome emcee. She worked the crowd well, and had the dance floor absolutely packed all night! Her energy was unmatched and she mixed a great blend of genres for our group. And, Adam with CoHost Luxury Collection gave the couple the cherry on top at the end of the evening, bringing a stunning Rolls Royce for a romantic and epic grand exit. Everyone was in awe! My husband and I had our wedding here in March of 2023. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and very well laid out with separate bride and groom suites and separate buildings for the ceremony and reception. The buildings themselves made the perfect backdrops for all of our wedding pictures- both interior and exterior. The staff at this venue were excellent at their jobs and ensured every detail ran smoothly on the day of as well as during the planning phases leading up to this day. Camryn was our day of coordinator and she was extremely kind and professional and we were all super impressed with everything she was taking care of throughout the day. Gravel on ground between parking and building is horrible for everyone in dress shoes but, more so, for elderly. Need walkway similar to one parking lot tip the other parking lot. Could use decorative concrete for road to chapel. Leaves character but safer for everyone. Could also use stretch golf cart as shuttle for those who need it wasnt it. Shuttle may serve multiple purposes on campus for hauling than just a prettier, safer walkway. Should be more elderly, disabled and heels than current walkways.

Got married here 5/6/23 and I could not have asked for a better team or venue! My husband and I were looking to have an indoor ceremony with a lot of in house vendors available and Morgan Creek Barn was beautiful, checked all of our boxes, and was within our budget! When I first saw the google reviews back in 2021, I was very nervous to commit to Morgan Creek Barn, but I decided to give them a fair chance and tour the venue. Right away my husband loved the space and the person doing our tour was so kind and helpful. The actual space spoke for itself.. it s truly beautiful. We really did love everything about the venue (even the prices). We decided to go with them and right away everyone was so helpful & made our lives so easy. Planning - Abby was our planning representative and she was amazing. She walked us through the entire process and made sure we knew what was going on the entire time. I asked about a million questions and she answered every single one with grace and never made me feel like I was a bother. Abby was so patient, kind & communicative. I couldn t of asked for a better representative. Day of - Bailey was our day of coordinator and I absolutely adored her. She made everything go so smoothly and truly cared about myself and the groom. She was constantly checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed. I did not have to worry about one thing because I knew Bailey had it covered. She was also extremely helpful to my family with decorating, setting up, arranging things, setting out desserts, etc. I know everything went right because Bailey was there to help! Overall, the girls at Morgan Creek made my experience what it was and I could not thank them enough. The venue itself is lovely. We really liked how there were two buildings separated by a courtyard - perfect for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We also like a one-stop shop where we were able to get the venue, DJ, food and day of coordinator. This not only reduced our work greatly but it increased our confidence that the day would go off without a hitch, since all of the vendors work together regularly. On the business side, we received all the information we needed up front to get started, along with the pricing. The customer portal was such a convenient way to communicate, pay bills and sign documents. Everyone we worked with was kind, helpful and professional - Abbie & Camryn! On the day of the event everything went very smoothly. Camryn kept everything on track. One of our guests later commented to me how efficient the event was - which I appreciated! The bridal party enjoyed the mens and womens dressing rooms as well. They were very comfortable and created the perfect space for them to relax and get ready. From start to finish, wedding planning went very smooth thanks to the staff at Morgan Creek Barn. At first we were hesitant to work with Walters Wedding Estates because of older reviews. However, Abby and Camryn did an AMAZING job helping coordinate the day of the wedding. Camryn was more hands on the day of the wedding. We couldnt have asked for someone better! Camryn made things happen by keeping us on track with our timeline while also giving us our space to have fun. I would 100% recommend this venue for the aesthetics but also because of the people you get to work with. Often times you hear stories about hiccups throughout a wedding day, yet we had NONE! Our DJ, Mya, did great and kept the energy up. She and CoHost Entertainment was easy to work with. Our dinner was plated - everyones food came out hot, everyone complimented how delicious it was, and everyone was served quickly! Could not have asked for more. The bar was great! One thing I may recommend is having 2 bartenders depending on your headcount. We had about 140-130 guests so the line at the bar got a little bit backed up. However, our DJ, Mya, jumped in to help out when she had spare moments. I could go on and on about how great the team was to work with and how perfect our wedding day turned out. We had the most amazing wedding at this venue!!! Its such a beautiful space that is really a blank canvas for you to create the wedding of your dreams. Abby and Cam were our planning representative and day of coordinator and they were PERFECT!!! They were there the entire day to make sure everything ran smoothly. They were very knowledgable of the venue from the beginning of the process and helpful when it came to setting things up and making sure everything was on time and everyone was in place. Something to note about the venue is that food and drinks are included and you have to use their kitchen/bar. This was nice for us because it saves a lot of hassle of having to find and manage extra vendors, but it does limit your options to some extent. They were very accommodating with bar options - we wanted a Spicy Marg as our signature cocktail and they worked with us to make that happen (and it was delicious!!). Overall, this venue is beautiful and the staff is kind and hard-working. Its the perfect mix of Texas Hill Country with a modern touch.

Abby helped managed all of the details leading up to the day of the wedding and was super helpful. She made sure to keep me in the loop and updated me on all the meetings and paperwork I needed to fill out. We did our wedding on a Thursday which saved us so much money and had about 90 guest. Overall they had the best prices and quality in Dripping Springs My day of coordinator was Camryn and she was the key to having a smooth and successful wedding day. Of course like any other wedding there are small hiccups, but she made sure none of them ruined our special day. I decided to set up my own decorations and without having to ask Camryn volunteered to set up our desert area. We also had to change what time we did the sparkler exit the day of and she was a good sport about it. Everyone that worked the day of the wedding was just phenomenal. They moved decorations from the ceremony room into the reception room for us and even helped clean up the flower pedals at the of the night.

Timeline: 2021 - Very prompt communication and hastily took our deposit. October 2022 - Walter Weddings scheduled coordinator pre one month meeting but when we showed up no one was there to meet with us intentionally as somehow our meeting they scheduled was not on their calendar. We scheduled our rehearsal 1 week prior to wedding due to a wedding occurring at the venue the Thursday before. 1 week prior - We show up on time and no one is there. The coordinator comps us 2 hours of extra preparation time at the venue. Wedding day - We addressed that the bar wait time at a previous wedding was far to long (at the Milestone NB/ same company). The bartenders performed exceptionally during ours. The buffet line took way to long, as it seemed 2 people serving food was too few for 100 guests (a conservative guess is 1 hour for the last table to be served). We had a hard time finding the wedding coordinator at times as she kept retreating back to her office and spent most of her time in there so it seemed. Overall - Not pleased with our wedding coordinator. Very pleased with how this venue looks, even more so at night. Walter Weddings should consider looking into having one more set of hands to help with wait times as this seems to be a reoccurring issue whether food or the bar. Advice to customers - You can save on flowers/decorations as the venue is already beautiful. Take that money and hire more help, Walter Weddings isnt holding up their end of the deal.

Kayci is amazing!! She is so hardworking and dedicated to the clients needs. I was just a florist and coordinator here for a wedding and the whole day went so smooth! She was such a team player and made us feel super welcomed. Scott is one of the hardest workers I ve ever met in my life and the day couldn t have been possible without him. Melanie was great and didn t stop one minute and same with the bartender. We all had a great day and night together and the couple was very happy. Id work with this specific crew again and again! Leading Up To The Wedding: Leading up to the big day we had tons of questions but Amanda did any amazing job emailing us back in a timely matter to answer them. We had a great time meeting with her for our details meeting where she gave us a timeline of how things would go down on the wedding day and explained every detail/aspect of the wedding in a way that we could understand. Wedding Day: I dont even know where to start... Jess (event manager) and Dana (day of coordinator) were AMAZING. Im still so shocked that they were able to pull this off! Everything went so well and they completely catered to us! They handled everything with such grace and they were so kind and supportive about everything! They allowed us to make any decisions we wanted but still stuck to the schedule that way we could get everything in within our time slot. Dont even get me started on their work ethic! They were there early just like we were and they were running around until the very end. Lastly, Jesse and Glenn were GREAT! They were also in the background making everything possible! Running the bar, the buffet, passing around the appetizers, helping us gather our decorations and cleaning up at the end, you name it! It blows my mind that these people ran a wedding so beautifully! They even took a photo at my photo booth since I get the pictures and grabbed the polaroid from my polaroid guest book, snapped a couple pictures of our first dance and signed our guest book. I cant say enough good things to express how amazing this venue and the workers are. Please dont let the bad reviews scare you away! DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT book with this venue. Do not let the beautiful ceremony space fool you, there are plenty of others in Dripping Springs. This company will nickel and dime you for everything, you are simply a number once you sign the contract. They do not make you feel cared for, seriously lack in communication (unless it s for a payment) and do not cater to you whatsoever. The staff is extremely unfriendly. After signing our contract, we overpaid for a tasting, $55 a person to be exact. We drove over an hour and were excited to taste the menu only to find they only had 3 different chicken dishes and a salad. None of which were anything special. Though it was set up as buffet style, they quickly took the food away once everyone got a sample. We waited over 30 min to speak with the GM who was with another couple. We eventually left (without a full stomach) after waiting so long. I wrote an email explaining our frustrations. The GM responded very passive aggressively and said their prices were fair and we should have viewed the menu before attending. How were we supposed to know there was even a tasting menu when no one had communicated that with us after signing? Instead of accommodating us and offering another tasting free of charge due to the lack of communication they told us we could sign up and pay for another date. In hind sight we should have because we chose steak and chicken for our dinner thinking they surely couldn t mess that up . We were wrong. Although the sides were good, the steak and chicken were almost inedible. I could not even finish my plate at my own wedding because I was so disgusted. The steak was chewy and had zero flavor and the chicken was so pink that my pregnant bridesmaid was advised by other guests not to eat it. The kids complained that their food was also inedible because their chicken nuggets were hard as rocks. They had to go searching for dinner rolls on untouched plates because they were so hungry. We had to have a rehearsal the day of the wedding because the venue was not available the night before. The day of the wedding the coordinator was more concerned with what alcohol was being brought in rather than going through the day and making sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed. The suites are on the smaller side, especially if you have a large party and there are no showers. She did not keep us on schedule and tried to skip our garter and bouquet toss for lack of time. They did not have a plan for our sparkler send off, my dad had to coordinate himself where we should have it. All in all we had a great time at our wedding but that is no thanks to any of the staff. SKIP CONSIDERING THIS VENUE.

They are money hungry and nickel and dime any and everything they can. The venue is beautiful, that is it! We just got married at this venue. Its a very beautiful venue but the management is a disaster and down right disrespectful to my guests. Since booking, weve had to work with 3 different managers who all complained that the one before them did everything wrong. We paid extra for the Elite Catering and when it came to the wedding day they served our guests 2 oz. steak and chicken with one piece of broccolini as their entire meal. When I asked the GM about this, they responded by saying portion size was reduced based on inflation. They did not tell me they would be making this decision. On top of this, the ceremony hall was a mess and my in-laws had to get there early to sweep the whole building. We also noticed that all of the plants in the entry were dead and not being taken care of. Although, we had a great day and a fantastic wedding, the venue and their management were by far the worst parts.

If I could give no stars I would. I was a December 2020 and had to argue with them tooth and nail to reschedule. Even after telling them all my family lived out of state, that my husband and I were high risk along with other family members, and many other things. After telling them our concerns they said there was nothing they can do for us and made us pay $1500 to reschedule. These people are horrible and if I could change my wedding venue I would within a heartbeat. I know it s a business but who doesn t let you reschedule in the middle of a pandemic. Then they ve been bought out by another company so I m sure they had some shady business practices going on. I hate that I have to have my wedding here this year. Save your money and time. It s not worth it. There are better venues with better business practices.

Love the two barns at this venue! The property is very pretty with lots of unique photo opportunities. I have only coordinated at this venue once, but found that it had an easy flow and that the layout was great for a large event. Being a DIY venue you have to make sure that your caterer will do all the chair and table setup for you which most will do at an additional cost. They have a great catering space and the bar offers both indoor and outdoor access. I would advise someone looking to book here to invest in a professional to handle the sound for the chapel-its worth it to have someone that can adjust the mics and keep things sounding good so nobody misses whats being said during ceremony. I would also make sure that all of your vendors know that the bride and groom are the final say so on any changes to the timeline-not the venue staff. We really had a great experience here other than the two hiccups we had. I would recommend this venue to anyone wanting a rustic setting for their wedding!

Beautiful rustic venue located in a secluded section of a small neighborhood. Chapel has excellent lighting and the ballroom provides plenty of space for over 100 guests. Indoor/outdoor bar a lovely touch. Plenty of photo opportunities for the wedding party and guests.

We were disappointed with the venue. We planned our wedding 8 months advance. Multiple things went wrong and no compensation or explanation was given from the venue. Our wedding was april 7th 2019. Dont be fooled by their any approved vendor statement. The only vendor they would approve cost more than the entire venue. We tried to get multiple vendors approved for a very small wedding but they couldnt get approved by saddle creek. The only vendor they did approve had a minimal guest count twice what we anticipated having in attendance. Beware of all the additonal requirements and costs prior to booking. Also we were not met and let into the venue by the time the venue promised us. We were not compensated for this lost time. Chairs were left stacked against walls in both the reception hall and the ceremony hall. We informed the venue of the final guest count but not only did they not remove enough chairs but they didnt even store them out of view for pur wedding pictures. Two hours late getting into the venue. Dissapointed. Its a really beautiful venue and we were very excited to host our wedding there but there was just so much more then even what I mentioned here that was not up to par.

Saddle Creek will be a beautiful venue! Saddle Creek has everything we want in a venue; rustic but elegant, with a beautiful view of the hill country. We were impressed by the layout of the two barns that are designed perfectly for the functionality of a wedding. The ability to have a plan B for an indoor ceremony that is equally beautiful cannot be understated. When we toured we met with Monica and her experience and knowledge has been invaluable. I am so happy I booked Saddle Creek!

Saddle Creek Weddings in Dripping Springs is the most authentic rustic wedding facility in the hill country. Monica, the manager gave a friendly and informative tour. I looked all over Austin and the hill country and Saddle Creek Weddings is a true Texas experience. I love the 1900s covered wagon.
