If I could give 0 stars I would, my experience was horrible. The nurses did not care about me at all, and the doctor was extremely rude. I was crying the whole time, I did not feel safe at all. I asked the nurses for help because they left something in my arm for HOURS and my arm was turning blue from the lack of blood circulation. I also needed help with some important documentation and the staff was rude, I felt so desperate for help and no one helped.

I had surgery with a 5 day stay and the entire staff was amazing the whole time. The room was large and peaceful, and the food was better than any hospital Ive been at before (plus it has a menu for you to order your own meal). Hopefully I dont have to go back but if I do I would gladly choose this hospital first.

Do not come to this hospital this was the worst experience in emergency care. Had to wait in the waiting room for 4 hours. Than they put me in small room, and than they removed me sending me back to the waiting room. They stated they didn t have any clean rooms. Really no clean rooms.? I would not bring my cat here.

Starting with phone call I received. I am sorry that I do not remember the ladys name that called me and took my information. She was so very kind and sincere. Then in the morning arriving at the front desk the person sitting there was awesome as well he was all smiles. The lady who checked me in also, smiled through the check in process and laughed with us. Then all the nurses are first class. They also made you feel you were important. Over all view is everyone who we came in contact with at Carrollton Regional Medical Center are top class. Keep up the good work. PKneis

I checked in early in the morning for a surgery and from the start I could tell everything was going to be ok. I have never had any kind of surgery before so I was nervous the intake staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. From there the preop nurse was so sweet and got me setup then before I knew it I was waking up from surgery. The nurses were all so sweet and made sure my pain was well managed and that I had everything I needed before I left overall the best experience hands down i have no complaints

I went in for surgery and inpatient stay for 4 days. In those days I received the best care I ve ever been given in a medical environment. The day nurse Tiffany, night nurse Elva, and day nurse tech Keona were some of the kindest people I ve ever met in a medical environment. They went out of their way to make sure I was cared for, attended to in a timely manner, and aide any issues I was facing. They truly were some of the best medical staff members I ve ever met and I would give the hospital 10/10 stars if I could, because of them.

I had another great experience at Carrollton Regional Medical Center Emergency Department and Inpatient Service. My 82y/o mother with dementia had worsening confusion and fever. We took her to the emergency department where she was evaluated by Dr. Pillow. He saw her quickly, did a very thorough evaluation and quickly narrowed the diagnosis to COVID. During her visit she was cared for by the emergency nurse Fiona, who was assisted by the other great staff, charge nurse and techs. Due to her age Dr. Pillow insisted she be admitted to the hospital for the night where she was cared for by Dr. Saleh and the caring inpatient nurse teams. The next day she was walking the halls, eating and doing great. Thank you for taking such great care of our mother.

I have been dealing with them for almost a year now. Every month I get a call and tell them I would like to dispute an up ode on a bill, I m told that a note will be made on the account and I will get a call from a supervisor, but never get a call, and come to find out notes are never made. I made a review about this and get a generic message to a number that goes straight to voicemail, and lo and behold now my account has been sent to collections. Carrollton Regional Medical center is an unethical organization that isn t accredited by the Better Bustiness Bureau . This is clear retaliation on their part and blatant refusal by their staff to do their jobs. DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS HOSPITAL.

I would not advise anyone go to this hospital. We have had several emergencies that have forced us to go their and each one has been nothing but a huge headache. They have lied about what my wife came in for, listing a abscess as covid, have told me one amount on day of procedure, I pay it and the next month they call demanding more money, and they upcoded a possible broken leg to a level 3 emergency room visit. I get monthly class from their billing department and each time explain the issues and am told I will hear back from a supervisor and that it will be put into my account notes section, but i never hear back, the last time I asked them to read me the notes section on my account and was told, nothing was there. Beware of this hospital and its shady practices, they are not here to help you, only to bleed you dry.

First off thank you to the night shift! Although I felt a little silly going to the Emergency Room for the concerns I had, I m thankful to the staff for being diligent in testing for the root of my problem. As a plus-sized female, most doctors my entire life have chopped up most of my medical concerns to my weight- so for the doctors to rule out major concerns then still provide results from an unrelated problem blew my mind. The staff all made the visit less scary and stressful. I m on the road to recovery AND able to follow up about the unrelated problem to finally get some relief from that as well! Thank you!!

Everyone loves to hate small hospitals. They ll claim poor doctors, bad facilities, incompetent staff. But, speaking from experience, I wholly disagree. I owe my life to the staff and physicians and equipment of CRMC. One year ago in 2023, returning from out of state, my wife drove me directly to the CRMC Emergency room. My health had been declining in the previous weeks and had reached a crisis point. We arrived at the ER just after 6:00pm, and by 10:30 I was in the ICU. I spent the next 11 days there, 7 of them in an induced coma, while the doctors worked to save me from severe Septic Shock. I was initially given little prognosis of recovery, but during this time, I was hooked to every machine imaginable. I had an army of skilled physicians from multiple disciplines, caring nurses and technicians who kept my wife and family apprised of my situation (good and bad). After 11 days, I was stable enough to be moved to a long-term ICU specialty hospital. I returned a month later to CRMC for the successful treatment of the cause of my initial infection. One year later, I am cured of that issue and able to resume my previous life. Thank you CRMC. David Grubbs

I was recently discharged from the hospital after being treated for COVID-19 and pneumonia. I was not feeling well enough to be discharged, and I had only been in the hospital for less than a day. I believe that the hospital staff was upset that I had requested to be transferred to UT Southwestern Medical Center, and they discharged me in retaliation. If you are admitted to this hospital and you request a transfer, be prepared to be discharged against your will.

Worst of the worst on communication! We have been here going on 2days and still have no answers. My brother got transfered here to get a evaluation by a GI. And that order was never put in. We were told my the facility that my brother could have internal bleeding! They are not taking it serious they have not done one thing I have been asking for the managers head doctors and nothing there is no communication. I was told at about 8am that the resident NP would be here soon before 930am. It is now 10:10am and no one has came to speak to me! Mind you my brother is a diabetic. When I went out to ask the why the Np hasnt made it in they said give her time. Im at the point that Im about to walk out with my brother and go to a different hospital that will attend to us. There has been a lady a couple of rooms down and she has been screaming for help all day and night. Every time we push the nurse light always take more than 15 mins for someone to come in an attend to us. Now lets not get started on the night nurse that falsely gave my brother nausea medicine. They are the worst of the worst here. I wouldnt even bring my pet cat that I dont like and allergic to this medical center! There is no communication at all! I am beyond frustrated

I went in last Saturday via ambulance from a care facility. After I was done a woman came into my room and said I was discharged and I could call a family member to pick me up. I told her I had no family here and how I had got there. I told her to call transportation. She said because I can walk she couldnt do that. She again repeated I should call family to come get me AGAIN I repeated I had no family. She left for a few minutes and returned to tell me I had to sit in the waiting room. I said no. They werent busy. She says what if theres an emergency. I asked her how many rooms they had. She repeated her question and I repeated mine. BTW she never answered. She asked the same question again. I asked HER if she was a nurse. She said yes. I said okay so Im going to assume (bad idea) that you arent stupid. I told her I would NOT sit in the waiting room and she could find transport for me. She said they dont do that anymore. I am a nurse and no time as a nurse or patient have I ever been asked or asked someone to sit in the waiting room. They finally called the ADON of the facility Im in and he came after me. I will NEVER knowingly be a patient there again and I will NOT recommend it to anyone. Good luck, youre going to need it.

I will NEVER return here for medical attention. I sat in the waiting room for an hour with excruciating pain to have people who came AFTER me to be send and to basically be told that my needs were not of urgency. They gave me a cup for a drug test, I asked the nurse for water as I did not need to use the lavatory at that time, she sighed with frustration and told me she ll get it when she can. Never came back. Insane treatment.

The stars are for the staff for sure ! The lack of 5 stars are for the lack of staff . Everyone who I have encountered here once admitted into the hospital, have been attentive, caring, and very hard-working. The hospital itself is rundown, rooms. Remind you of a 1950s hospital room. In a State and city with this much money. It is shameful that the leaders would leave this hospital in such disrepair. The only reason I would ever come here is because the staff. They are Steller And terribly overworked! Unfortunately, my next medical emergency will be received about 10 minutes down the road at Medical City. I can t take the chance in an emergency room that is falling apart or rooms with holes and walls and ceilings with my health. To the folks that work here making peoples lives, easier for them keep it up because this is the reason this place still open. The reason is you ! Thank you for the great care you ve shown to me!

I brought a family member to Carrollton Regional Medical Center ER for severe alcohol withdrawals. The ER did a great job of stabilizing him and make sure he was comfortable and safe. He was then admitted into the hospital for several days under the hospitals withdrawal management protocol. He was beyond well cared for. All of the nurses, medical assistants and dietary aids were excellent. The Providers kept him comfortable & hydrated. Even at some of his rougher moments of the withdrawals, the staff cared for him as I believe they would care for their own family member. The excellent level of care we received here was such a comfort during a difficult situation.

My pain was managed accordingly, the food was great, and housekeeping did a great job as well. I could name all of the team who took care of me but the list would be long. I had a severe knee surgery and after the day of surgery I was in terrible pain and was told I needed to check out that day. I felt as though I was being rushed out and not being treated properly after my surgery. Even though the majority of the staff seemed to be concerned and tried to meet my needs, there were others who seemed to only be concerned about sending me home no matter how much pain I was in. This was was the third surgery that I have had on this leg and I never felt so neglected by Doctors as I was there because they were the ones to make the the decision to send me home. I am home after second day at the hospital and am feeling like I should have stayed at least one more day because I feel they should have medicated me to keep me more comfortable in order to be able to do more physical therapy. I was not given the opportunity to clean up by brushing my teeth or cleaning my face or any body parts.

Based on my experience at other locations in Dallas and Irving I was not sure what it will take considering the normal delays and wait times that we endure in a facility. I am pleasantly surprised that I was able to finish all my tests ahead of schedule especially Radiology and Scanning with staff who made things so easy and ensured all steps are done precisely. Followups on results and going extra mile to get me the full information on medical records is highly commendable ! I would strongly refer anyone that is unaware of this location and glad to have a center in DFW region that cares about the patient !! Thanks to all the clinicians and staff for caring and hope you will continue this type of quality of work in the future too !

Horrible my mom was admitted here from her care facility due to an issue with her potassium levels. She had been really ill after a major surgery left her incapacitated and unable to care for her self. She had a horrible reaction to some meds given while here and vomited all over herself uncontrollably. She called for a nurse to come help with clean up and over an hour later is still sitting in her own vomit. When she reached back out to her nurse on staff she was greeted extremely rudely with the response I told you I m coming already . The level of care is extremely subpar and lacking from people we expect to provide care. We are working on getting her transferred however I would not recommend a soul not even my dog to go here if you are looking for some type of beside manner. Carrollton regional do better, hire better and if you don t want to work go home I m sure it is people out here that would love to do your job and will give better care. Horrible experience!!!!!

The PA in the ER made a call (on a Sunday) and we were able to get into see Dr Syed Hasan, nearby, the next day. I became drug-dependent to Klonopin (a benzodiazapam) after using it for 10 years. I tried on my own to get off, but was not successful. After many phone calls, I finally found and talked to Amanda with Carrollton Regional s Drug Withdrawal Management Program, she was awesome. I was admitted to the hospital for a managed withdrawal. I cant say enough about how well things went after I was admitted. There were times when I freaked out a little bit, but the staff was always patient, kind, and helpful. I was able to text Amanda with any problems. She always responded immediately and made sure my issues were addressed. I was admitted on Monday and released on Thursday feeling so much better. All of the staff was amazing. I would like to give a special shout-out to nurses Ontaria, Tammy, Stephanie, and Lori. Also thank you Dr. Vajja, youre awesome! Edit!!! I was billed for the below visit and paid promptly. I now have a collection charge with a collection agency for $7.57 for a treatment I never received. I have tried to reach the collection agency, Carrollton regionals billing office and the customer relations department to no avail. Watch your bills- they will bill what amounts to insurance fraud, and send you to collections even if you have a zero balance. I have received both good and bad care from your hospital . Tonight was bad. I waited 40 minutes in a room before seeing anyone. I was asked minimal questions in triage and by the attending physician. Honestly- the nurse line for my insurance that suggested I come in was much more thorough. The physician listened to my lungs and said well you aren t wheezing now. I ll send you home with an inhaler. Funnily enough the prescription for the inhaler was not included in my discharge. I am having trouble breathing and am coughing uncontrollably- and bringing up hard yellow phlegm. I feel like I was dismissed and that I received substandard care . I wasn t even urine tested which to me says y all were planning to send me home right away. I feel like since your hospital changed from Baylor the quality has substantially decreased. I will not be using your services again. Instead I will go to Las Colinas or Lewisville for care As a note I removed a previous negative review from a couple of years ago. I wish I had not.

Triggering anxiety attacks rather than treating them. They only provided 1 of her 4 prescription medications. Asked to speak with charge nurse and floor manager but they never came. Bringing her here only made her anxiety much worse. She received no treatment aside from getting a psychiatrist eval. The emergency room was good and they sent my father to ICU when they finally get him settled in the nurse comes to the waiting room. Tells us she us his nurse. I cant remember her name. She asks us his baseline and asked if he useses any other words besides b****. Mind you my father is 82 yrs old with Alzheimers. We get back to room and she tells everyone who comes in how he was cussing at her. That was completely unprofessional for her to say. It hard enough me apologizing for the way he speaks at times and learning how to be a caregiver to someone with this disease. I dont need someone being like she was that day. If she was so offended by him saying that then she is in the wrong profession. That was completely uncalled for. However the next day his nurse was Kim and she did an amazing job with him. The nurse he had the first day needs to get out of the nursing profession!

As her hand hurts badly for the following days & took her to primary & they did more X-rays & found she had 2 fracture in On wrist, then followed up with fracture clinic & cast was placed for 5 weeks, after I got the medical bills & I spoke with people there& they said they did investigation & no fracture seen in the first xray taken from ER, I showed the ER xray CD to fracture provider & he could see the displacement , same like followed Xrays, Iam very disappointed, because of all this delayed care, multiple X-rays.
