Very authentic delicious Japanese food. I enjoyed the food and the service. The food was very fresh and very light. We were full and the best rice Ive ever had. The tempura bowl was the best out of all the dishes. Too bad this place is an hour away. Its too far from me but its worth it. Parking is hell so good luck finding a spot.

If I could rate 0 stars I would This place has never been a miss until now I come in and get greeted with hospitality. Everything was going well until we waited for more than an hour and to not get our order. Would have been nice when I left the establishment to at least have asked me whats wrong or apologized for the awful service but instead told us to have a nice day not sure if we were being discriminated or not but I certainly will not be coming back

I went in today the waiter was nice, atmosphere was nice , but when it came down to food we waited an hour and a half and never received our food just the drinks . It was a packed day for them but any new customer coming in instantly got what they ordered and we never did, after waiting for almost two hours we decided to leave . None of the waiters noticed we where still waiting for our food .

The portion size for chicken karaage was hilariously small, almost like biting into chic-fil-a chicken nuggets. The ramen broth contained a lot of cornflour to thicken it and it did not seem natural.

Tokyo tonkotsu was delicious, the saving grace of our trip, 100% recommend. Tan tan men broth was absolutely far too thick, even after I diluted it with a quarter cup of water, it felt paste-like. Korokke was boring, could have used a mayo based sauce or some acidity. Agedashi tofu was alright but lacked a bit of flavor.

10 out of 10!! Service is amazing! This is the best Ramen this side of Denton! Each time I ve visit this location, no matter what weekday or weekend, the food is always fresh and hot! The environment is pleasure and the greeter and servers are very attentive and polite. Even while their system internet being down due to the storm. They were very innovative to keep their customers happy by offering cash and Zelle payment. If you want excellent ramen with great service, visit Hanabi Ramen. Even with Take Out my bowl was still looked amazingly good! Presentation was still top tier! Thank me later because you won t regret it!

Today, with two tables and one booth open, the chubby short head server decided that they could only sit me in bar, and the booth or table is for two or more people. I told him it shouldn t take me more than 20 minutes and I didn t intend to stay long. He got impatient and really rude. Really disappointed, especially since I have been a regular customer. I don t think I would come here again with so many choices around the area.

Best ramen around My go-to is the black garlic tonkotsu and an appetizer of korokke. I get extra broth to-go and honestly heat it and drink it like soup out of a mug when Im working late. My only complaints are that nutrition info isnt on the menu, and that two of the booths (on the very ends) have a big piece of wood that juts out making it a spot to bang your elbow on if youre not careful.

Update: 2/17/2024 Happy to report that something good changed. I ordered the gyudon and the rice was perfect. Also ordered the agedashi tofu and it was amazing again! The portion was also bigger than normal so that was a huge plus!! Same goes for the karagge. Chef must have been in a good mood! Update: Not happy to write this. Last time I went here with my husband, I ordered my favorite dish the Tendon. But I was disappointed this time. It was lacking. Hanabi has either changed the rice, or their cooking method. The rice was over cooked and not coated in the dashi they usually use. I had to ask for more Dashi. But that didn t help either. The previous rice was glossy and just bursting with umami flavor! Just last night I had wanted to visit Hanabi again and try my other favorite dish here. Their Agedashi Tofu. Even that has changed. It was really just fried tofu with the smallest amount of dashi. I ve noticed even their portions of ramen is smaller. So I m not sure if the economy is effecting the recipes themselves, or causing Hanabi to purchase lower grade ingredients, but I would much rather just pay more for a better dish. Just tried the curry ramen here and it is delicious! Still loving their shrimp tendon as well! So, im sure ive made a review for Hanabis ramen before. But, this review is for their new Shrimp Tempura Don. My god this is the best shrimp tempura i have ever had!! It is SO crunchy and delicious. The delicate sauce they drizzle over the rice is also amazing. This dish with a sapporo beer on draft is a match made in heaven. Great addition to the menu!!

I was craving ramen and noticed this place was on the way home from DFW airport. Maybe we just happened to go when the kitchen was having a bad day, but unfortunately the food was a bit of a let down. The Curry Katsu Don lacked flavor (even at a medium spice level), while the Chicken Karaage was dry and wasnt the least bit crispy like it had been sitting under the heat lamp for several hours. On the bright side, the Curry Katsu Don was alright and our server was friendly.

He wasn t mad or anything it was just undercooked and the staff were really cool about it.

Been before and I had a great experience. The server did not come back and check and when I mentioned that the ramen was bad she was like oh ok and walked off. The place is a gem, I am judging the broth by its looks and it didn t pass at all but when we tried it - it was one of the few tastiest ramen we had. The chicken karage with their sauce is somehow overwhelming for those that s not used to with asian spices - it taste more like a korean. The beef bowl was really amazing especially their rice is high quality from what it taste like. The place only have indoor seating. When you enter their place you will be greeted immediately and feel the Japan vibes. It was a really cool interior. Service was okay, nothing really fancy. Overall it was a good experience!

The food was great! I had the Spicy Tokyo Tonkotsu and highly recommend. As far as service goes it was not as expected. We walked in and the front door was extremely tight because there are two doors, definitely not wheelchair or large stroller friendly! Upon being sat, the waiter Luis sat us at a booth and told me my Doona stroller would not be allowed the table. I have a 4 month old who can not sit yet so I asked to be sat elsewhere so they could accommodate. He then told me no and insisted that my car seat be removed from the stroller portion. I informed him this would not be possible as it does not detach, he continued to insist I remove the car seat. After speaking with another waiter, the second waiter was able to seat us at a table where my baby would be able to be placed. Being a new mom it is hard enough going out and waiters like Luis don t make it better. In addition, the changing station they have is extremely low to where I almost had to get on my knees to change my infant. I will say it is nice they at least had something as some restaurants don t have anything. Overall our experience ended up being decent but I really wish the customer service wouldn t have been so harsh at the beginning. Kid-friendliness: Not infant friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: I don t see how someone in a wheelchair would be able to EASILY enter in the front entry/hall. You enter in the first door and immediately have to turn. Barely any space.

Absolutely delicious ramen. You can tell that the rich broth was made with care, the noodles are fresh, and it all comes together beautifully. We also order the gyoza and edamame very often. The only downside is that this is a fairly small restaurant - there can be a long wait when they get busy. So plan ahead for the best experience! Parking: There is plenty of parking but This shopping center gets crazy busy with lunch and dinner rush. And then the parking lot gets full and kinda dangerous as people pay a bit more attention to finding a spot than avoiding pedestrians. Kid-friendliness: We typically get a bowl of just noodles for our 7-year-old. And she helps us decimate any gyoza and edamame. There is no kid menu.

First time here with a friend she ordered the Black Tonkotsu, Croquettes, and I ordered the Butter Garlic. The Ramen was OK if a bit bland with no additional condiments offered, but the Croquettes were really tasty so that increased the rating to 4 from the 3 I wanted to give. I dont know if Ill be back, but it was less crowded than the other restaurants on a Sunday afternoon.

I ve been coming here since the restaurant opened and never had an issue until these past two times I visited. I always order the same and never had an issue, but these past two times I visited i ended up with stomach issues. I m not sure whats going on but its not the same. The glasses smelled like bleach and the water did not taste right. The pork in my ramen did not smell right, but i still ate it cause whos gone let a good ramen go to waste. It tasted weird and surely I regretted a few hours later. I ve never had these issues and im disappointed man

Tried this restaurant recently and it was pretty good! Didn t have the ramen tho, so will definitely have to try that very soon and update. Had the ten don shrimp and that was delicious! Very crunchy and flavorful. Also had the chicken rice sandwich but in my opinion, the chicken was too dry. Our waiter was also very kind and helpful which was great. Will be back to try more! Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options available such as tofu, adamame , and korokke.

We always walk by here and finally decided it was the right day to forgo out other favorites and try something new: glad we did! The atmosphere is so cute and cozy, but most importantly the ramen is YUMMY. The shoyu broth is *chef kiss*. And overall everything is great prices. I definitely recommend Hanabi Ramen. I think it s going to be one of our new favorites.

I was so excited to eat the food that I forgot to take photos! I got the pork katsu don. It was tender and delicious. The atmosphere here is fun and welcoming. It was busy yet they did not rush us to make decisions. Second time- I remembered to take photos this time. I got the pork chashu bowl this time and it was delicious! My husband got the gyu don and that was also delicious. Tried the fried squid for the first time and the flavor was really good.

The best ramen I have ever had in the US so far, this is the half half portion with the spicy miso ramen and the black ramen (black color is from black garlic). For me, the first is better than the latter. Definitely worth dropping by again next time!!

I was very excited to try this place out because of the good reviews, but the food was kind of a let down. Three of us ordered Tokyo Tonkotsu (spicy), and we all agreed it wasn t as flavorful or spicy as we had hoped. I also ordered chasu don for my toddler. It had good flavor but was on the salty side. Service was fine, but food was just alright.

Over the last few years of coming to the restaurant, some of the dishes have changed. We ordered Kurage, Tendon, and Gyodon today. The tempura for the Tendon was perfect, but the rice was slightly on the dry side. The Gyodon was well made and Kurage was overcooked, making it rather dry. The serving staff were attentive and efficient.

Good food, good staff hospitality, clean and comfortable environment, quick order times, etc. Order the Karikara Chicken with a side of white rice every day for lunch and the chicken is incredibly juicy yet crispy. Yes, the food is a good as it looks.

Really good Ramen noodle bowls. Chicken teriyaki wasnt much of a teriyaki dish. More of a fried orange chicken. Rice was mushy with it. Need to improve that dish. But service was great. Fast and prompt. Prices good.

Update: after enjoying other delicious ramen houses around DFW the past few years, i can say without a doubt that the broth of the Black Tonkotsu is the best in DFW. I really enjoy coming here. I cant compare to ramen overseas, but when I asked some close Japanese friends this is where they recommended. The Gyoza has a nice crunch to it. Ive had several of the ramen options and I enjoyed them all. The seafood was especially memorable, but my favorite (pic attached) was Black Tonkatsu. The atmosphere here is very chill and quiet. Something else I really like about the venue.
