Ive been there like 4 times, always good and the guy that always help me is so nice, with a lot of patience and explains me what everything is and each plate, but this last time this young beautiful lady helped me and she was so rude and not helpful at all BUT RUDEEEEE at the point I was losing my mind and patience I don t even know why she was acting like that. Thankfully the guy that always helps me show up. And she got mad that I told her to switch and let him help me.

The thali I ordered was completely frozen when served. This not only affected the flavor and texture of the food but also made the entire meal. The funny part? We ordered 3 biryanis ,1 Curry, 1 apetizer and nanns Except for the apetizer none of them are human eatable. all the food items so spicy that none in the family are able to take a bite We never specified the spicy level. The picture shows whats left after 4 people eating. Everything is left as it is. First time ordered from this place with a great expectation. Having swadeshi and little India , we choose this place with hops of having a great good. Definitely Swadeshi and little are better I called them to let out my frustration and they said they can refund, but finally its the quality of the food. We are done with this place August 31st: we kept the left overs in the fridge and next day morning when we op ned chicken biryani started smelling bad. This is the first time I have seen this happening and sure at what time this was made before being sold.

Came here with my parents for their anniversary as they were craving South Indian food from back home and we loved the food they had prepared for us. We had Dosa and Uttapum at dinner which most places dont offer past breakfast hours but they made it well and fast. Moreover, the staff is very friendly and super informative. Best part about this restaurant is that they use fresh ingredients and you can taste it in the food. If I could give more than 5 stars I would and I would recommend this place to everyone.

This was our second visit to Sai Bhavan Restaurant, and once again, it was an absolute delight. The selection of vegetarian options is impressive. We tried the Karam Dosa, which comes with three varieties of chutneys and a Sambar, and the Avakkai Paneer Biryani, which was excellent. Despite not favoring overly spicy foods, we found these dishes to be perfectly suitable for our palate. The staff is courteous, especially the gentleman at the cash counter who kindly inquired about our dining experience. Their tea is also very good. If there is an area for improvement, it would be the volume and content on the TV. While the staff made an effort to change the video to something more appropriate for families, the selection in their playlists was quite jarring. Choosing something more suitable for children would enhance the dining atmosphere. I recall that on our first visit, they generously offered us Pulihora and Curd Rice for free, which was a lovely gesture to welcome a new customer. They also have Bharateeya - Telugu Vari sweets and snacks which are worth trying. Overall, Sai Bhavan is a gem for vegetarian food lovers, and we look forward to returning soon.

Enjoyed our evening celebrating a wedding anniversary (#55) and Fathers Day. Hubby wanted Chicken Tikka Masala. So we ordered a variety of chicken and mutton dishes, a couple of rice, all three varieties of Naan (we liked the butter & garlic best), and bean & spinach dip. We also had 4 servings of desert. Was kind of a crispy funnel cake & with a delicious syrup. The owner gifted us with 4 of their sweet stuffed pancakes stuffed with sweet potato or squash? Delish. I didnt get a receipt - so I cant tell what we ordered. Wanted to sample several menu items. We had plenty of take home. It was easy to pack up leftovers. The owners were accommodating and patient explaining the various menu items. Well know what to order next time and have an idea about portions. The portions are generous. Lots of families joined us - and there were plenty of pickups. The atmosphere is clean and bright. The owner and staff were accommodating and hospitable. A great experience. Although we did not use handicap parking - the parking was level and plentiful. Having a level cutout at the front door was helpful. Especially if we need a walker. Our first time here and we found the food to be SO flavorful, very delicious. Our orders (butter paneer, boneless chicken biryani, garlic naan, and a chicken curry) were prepared quickly and tasted very fresh. Generous portions, especially of biryani! The interior is kept clean, the service is so incredibly friendly and the FOOD. Portion size: Bang for you buck. Ive had biryani from other stores in the area, and I have to say I think Sai Bhavan is the most generous when it comes to price to amount given. Especially when it comes to meat. Most places skimp on how much Mutton they give, not here. Flavour: They respect the spice! I had a spicy mutton biryani (their special) and a chicken kebab. I may have underestimated how spicy the biryani would be, but with the aid of the yogurt sauce, every bite was still delicious. And the kebab was no slacker either. Zesty seasoning, light char, plenty of Veg and meat. Overall: My experience was a 5/5. The staff embodied southern hospitality in a way that you only find in mom and pop type stores. They genuinely wanted me to have a good experience and it showed.

This place deserves 10 Stars for service! My friend took me here for my first Indian food experience. I ordered chicken Tiki Masala that was marvelous! The owner was so friendly and gave us several commentary things to sample and every single thing we tried was delicious and super fresh. Garlic nan was too die for, and both of the soups I tried really blew me away!! They were so packed full of flavor... no soup will ever be the same...! The owner was so nice and excited to explain everything to us so we knew what we were getting. Oh my, YUMMM! Thats all I can say about this new restaurant! The Biryanis are amazing and available for all sorts of palates! I had the really spicy mutton specialty biryani. A friend had the regular mutton biryani (zero spice). We also tried one of the chicken curries and yummy jalebis! The breakfast platter has Idli, Vada, Mysore Bonda, Pongal, Sambar, tomato chutney, Allam, and coconut and peanut mix chutney, along with Poori with aloo sabji; and Masala Chai, of course. All of this reasonably priced at 8.50. I think Im in love! Vegetarian options: Healthy spicy and non spicy options. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly menu options available. Not what I was expecting when I ordered the lamb biryani. Im a sucker for lamb and usually it would come in chunks with or without bone, but this one ended up being grounded like beef. Not too sure Im a fan of this version since I cant taste the lamb as much when its all ground up so small like this. We also got a chicken biryani which I enjoyed as well. Of course, we had to get the butter chicken as thats our favorite and it was pretty good. The naan that we got was a bit too burned in areas which gave a deep bitter taste which was unfortunate. Biggest surprise was the veg biryani which I never thought I would try. It was really good and the smell reminded me of tea eggs for some reason. Overall, the dishes we got tasted a little bland in all areas. Maybe because Im used to more heavy spices, but still enjoyable if you care for less spice. The portion sizes here are huge though and I had plenty of leftovers.

They served the dishes with three types of chutneys: Allam, Palli and Tomato. My all time favourite is Palli chutney, but I liked tomato chutney more than palli chutney on this place. We had the breakfast combo and a dosa and everything was fantastic. Good South Indian cuisine starts with excellent chutneys and sambhar and Sai Bhagwan scored on both for me. Loved the people and service too. While the price is great, I would go here for the food.

Our new spot for Indian cuisine! Customer service was amazing and one of the owners (or managers) talked us through some different dishes and sauces, such a cool experience! We ordered the mutton biryani, chicken tikka, and mini onion samosas - everything was fantastic. Absolutely love that the meat stayed succulent and didn t dry out. Definitely check this spot out.

A couple of us came here for the first time during lunch time and all of us ordered the masala dosa. The price was reasonable, service was fast (there were not many people at the time) and most importantly, the food tasted great! Very filling and delicious! I also got some fresh made Jalebi for dessert and it was also good. The customer service was great! The server took time explaing things about their new store such as their catering service, and also the freshly made pre-packaged snacks and desserts they sell. You can see these items on a shelf within the store. I really like this location as it is very close to where we live. I hope more people frequent this place so that they will stay in business and thereby continue to provide great food and service. This is a great location, close to those living in the Carrollton, The Colony, Lewisville and Coppell areas.

Everything was tasty and delicious. We had butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and Andrha chicken curry. Prices were fair, and food was delivered in a timely way. They gave us samples of lemon rice, chicken rice, and rice with jack fruit. They were all good too. Very flavorful food. Recommended!

GREAT NEWS!! Carrollton residents...you wont have to drive to Irving, Frisco, the colony or anywhere else for great south Indian cuisine. Great sevice, amazing value, large portions, really yummy, not bland, clean restrooms and dining area...lots of menu choices and specials...open early and they close late...what more could you ask for??? Also open for breakfast!!! So if you want this place to stay open and thrive, so you dont have to drive far, I humbly suggest you visit often and give them your business...take it from a true Indian cuisine connoisseur!! So incredibly delicious!!! What a lucky spur-of-the-moment find for us. I wouldn t change a thing about the 3 dishes we ordered: fish fry (which comes in a spicy curry sauce), veg chole (bean) curry, and gongura chicken biryani. Gongura is a flavor I wasn t familiar with the owner said it s rare to find this vegetable in the US. We also loved the clean, bright atmosphere with lively Bollywood music videos playing on the flatscreen TV. The owner couldn t not have been nicer or more welcoming. Give this new restaurant a try!! You won t be disappointed!! Dietary restrictions: The owner came to our table to ask if we had any allergies to dairy or nuts before the kitchen made our food. Very thoughtful!

Super clean premises (remember those greasy floors and dirty tables at other restaurants, I didn t see it here, tables are clean) and wonderful and awesome food. Nice ambience added with yummy Snacks which are fresh, hot and super tasty. Not too oily or greasy food. This time I tried gongura mutton biryani and avakai chicken biryani which are super tasty. I am definitely going back, worth the drive .. also Front desk folks are really helpful and knowledgeable.. Dietary restrictions: The host/staff were able to help me with my dietary restrictions for Gluten and Dairy Kid-friendliness: Staff are really good accommodating with food which are not too spicy for kids.
