Worst food ever.. they dont even know how to make idly and dosa, not sure why they are running this restaurant, highly disappointed. Just simply ordered Idly, rava dosa, egg dosa. None of the items tasted good. The side dishes like sambar, peanut chutney were pathetic.

Self-Serve the Homemade Flavor! First time experiencing Indian food for breakfast. WOW! Amrutha Vilas was nearly packed before 10am. Freshness and flavor immediately comes to mind. Everything tasted hand picked and hand prepared. Not a hint of anything coming off of a Sysco truck or off the shelf. We know this: food cooked with love and with the intent to make others happy is the best tasting! This food hits the mark. The simplicity of the pancakes, fried dough and lentil rings was ideal to dip in the complex sauces and soups. I had 4 or 5 different delicios dipping vessels ranging from ginger, creamy sweet to the savory and spicy. Mixing what gets dipped in to which sauce made this a great eating adventure. We ended with sampling the cream of wheat dish and a mushy rice dish. Of course, more sauced pour over - this sealed the eating for me. I could not, as much as I wanted, fit any more in me. I will be re-visiting to see if this was a first time infatuation or the real-deal consistency of flavor. I am banking on the later!

Had a great time here, I have been here regularly since couple of months, they surprises me every time with their quality and quantity. The offers here are too good especially as a family if we go there we are getting 3 biryanis just for $30, and goat is also included in it. And the thali here we get tandoori, couple of chicken curries , appetizers and a rice. And I have been there for 15 times for thali, I haven t completed the whole portion any day. And the staff are too good, they are very polite.

Very bad attitude from front desk staff. Always trying to put less quantity of curries in Togo. Last time had similar bad experience, ordered thali and only gave gravies without any chicken pieces. Owner looks like is cheaping out. Many restaurants did same and eventually closed doors. I think this restaurant won t survive for long with this kind of customer service.

Ordered the Tikka Masala and the Saag Curry, both phenomenal, the flavors of both definitely packed a punch! The samosas were amazing, but some dipping sauces would have been nice, we improvised with some sour cream. The rice and naan were fantastic as well. The sheer quantity of food was unexpected! 2 curries and the order of samosas will easy feed my husband and I for 2 or even 3 meals. Will be coming back and are so excited to have found our new Indian cuisine go to

I came with my wife couple of times during breakfast and dinner. Breakfast: Ordered Mysoor Bonda and Ghee Masala Dosa with Irani tea. Masala in Dosa is perfectly cooked and tasty. Overall ghee dosa with masala was a perfect combination. Mysoor bonda was also cooked perfectly and it tasted really good with peanut chutney. I loved sipping Irani tea at the end. Evening Snack: I came for snack couple of times. I was never disappointed with the taste. Ordered egg puff, cut mirchi with tea first time and second time I ordered stuffed mirchi, Alu samosa and egg puff again ( one of the fav ) with tea. Overall good experience. Dinner: Ordered Egg fried rice, schezwan chicken, andhra chicken fry, pepper chicken, chicken fry pulao. All were great.. except chick fry pulav. The pieces were soft as in like in chicken curry. I hope they get this right . Please do try getting it better guys. Overall the taste was great and prices were decent. I recommend everyone who wants to have perfect Indian food.

Visited this place quite a few times . The food is really good. Egg puff Mirchi bajji Alu samosa ( the stuffing is really full) Schezwan Fried rice ( they try to get the street style) Bonda Irani tea Masala dosa (the masala is amazing ) The chefs really customize as per our requirements. There is always a chance to get a not so great dish but when we reach out to staff they get it fixed and dont give illogical reasons saying this how we make or this is how our style is. The tea is awesome.. all the times we ordered we never got a bland or watery tea unlike other places. The staff is really kind and patient. They mention great combos and offers pro actively. I dont mean to be rude about other restaurants but the food here is worth the money. And the service is nice too. They take all the feedback and try to improve their services! All in all. I would like to come here again and again. Thank you for great service guys! Keep serving amazing food.

This place is fantastic so far. Ive eaten here a couple of times, (first time was naan and curries, the second time was dosas) and both times the food was really good. I want to specifically point out the very competitive pricing at this place. I know they are new so perhaps thats why, but I do sincerely hope their prices continue to be this way moving forward. There is a lot of competition in this area in the Indian restaurant market and this place is excellent value for money. I will keep coming back as long as this continues to be the case.

Indian restaurants in Dallas are pretty overrated. The price and the quality of food never match. The rice for biryani is cooked in the morning and mixed with the whatever meat we order. and all the snacks sit there throughout the day on an oven, but the prices for these items were never below $15. Surprisingly, I visited Amruta Vilas yesterday and tried their lunch Thali, a delicious food I have eaten after a long time in any Indian restaurant in Dallas. The price is $10, and the amount of food served is astonishing. They served biryani rice, two types of chicken curry, one chicken appetizer, tandoori, chicken leg, and a dessert. The staff is amicable, too. I will skip going to cliché places like Hyderabad House, Pista House, Desi Chowrasta, Bawarchi, Desi District and their subsidiaries moving forward I hope This place keeps the same standards in their food quality and hopefully never increases the prices

I have been here twice in last month and both times I was here during lunch. Looks like they are just setting up their shop and adopting. Good part: The service was really good, reception was good make you feel like they care about you and the whole ambiance of restaurant dining area and ordering area is really well set. They have large selection of menu items like South Indian meals, thali , breakfast items and combos etc along with Indo Chinese options and some speciality biryanis. Their irani chai also was considerably good vs ones from Swadeshi or Desi District which have more sugary taste. Areas of development: Both times I have been here I order an item and I will be waiting for my order. Then someone comes from kitchen and say hey we don t have the item or our machinery is not working can we give you something else. This is not great especially bc they are not fully prepared to offer what they have said on the menu. I order veg Manchurian and they couldn t make it at the moment so I was offered gobi Manchurian. Gobi Manchurian is 7/10 I asked for paneer tikka pulav and they come back with regular paneer pulav and it tastes like watery rice with spiced paneer. Taste 4/10 not worth the money. I hope that I had a better experience and I wish them good luck on the journey. Vegetarian options: Since it s an Indian restaurant they have decent if not many vegetarian options and are also tasty. Parking: Its is located towards the corner unit of a strip mall/shopping complex. Good amount of parking but a little difficult to drive in.
