We ordered online to get some cheesesteaks and fries. Well to our surprise when we got there, the orders didn t come through. I don t know if their online ordering system was down or what. Instead of listening to us, the guy at the counter didn t think that we actually ordered. We physically showed him our order receipts on the email and he still seemed iffy on fixing our order. Once he did agree to fix our food it took 30-45 minutes. Overall, the food was okay and the atmosphere of the actual place was chill. *Visited on 06/13/24*

Have been coming here for a minute and the staff is ALWAYS respectful, polite, courteous, and with kindness. They know me as I place my order for myself and my wife. we had the chef special burger, the spicy pepper cheesesteak, and the Philly cheese fries/tots. Chef special burger was the favorite out of all three items. It s loaded and spicy. The spicy pepper cheesesteak is preferable in my opinion over the regular cheesesteak because the subtle spice adds more flavor to the dish. The sandwich did have a little too much mayo though. Between the fries and the tots, we preferred then tots more because it had a crunch that went well with the melted cheese and meat. Parking: It s in a store complex, so there s parking in front of the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: There s a kid menu

Im not sure about this place. The Cheesesteaks are decent and the fries are actually really good. My issue is there are very few Customers even during the lunch period. The dining area is spacious with big and small tables. My last two visits around 11:45am there was no other patrons there. I hope business improves for them. The food is not necessary bad so I would like to see them suceed.

I want to like this place. Really, I do. Ive tried it 3 times now and 3 times Ive left disappointed. The food has zero flavor, despite the sauces and look of it. Its like the design of the food was for aesthetics alone. The condiments offered are in packet form and are the worst kind of generic brands. The food is EXPENSIVE for what it is. I paid nearly $20 for a large Philly and fries (no drink). And the place itself is always dirty. Ive not even seen a health inspection anywhere where someone could feel confident that the place is not equally as dirty in the back where they make your food. The last time I was there I battled a swarm of flies inside the restaurant while trying to eat my food (gross). Ive had Phiilys from all over the US including the hometown itself and without a doubt this is the worst homage to that sandwich Ive ever experienced.

Placed a order through uber eats.i ordered the chicken basket & a chicken hot cheeto philly. The entire chicken basket from the chicken to the fries was completely bland you cant even lie and say that was seasoned. So much so I had to season the fries myself In attempts to try to make the food editable and it was still terrible. The philly was ok. My boyfriend ordered the mushroom swiss burgers for both of us, as well as the loaded tots, on the evening of 11/11/23. What he brought home was not what was expected. The tots had NOTHING on them. He was told that they were out of mushrooms only AFTER the order was paid for. There was NO apology nor refund for this as the mushroom burgers cost more than a regular burger. The burgers had what seemed like a cup of mayonnaise (on each burger)! About the only good things I can say are that the buns and meat were pretty good size, and that they did give a refund (but only after he called the restaurant). I would rate this place zero stars, but that s not an option.

Got a Spicy Pepper Cheesestake (Texas size) and a double Zinger. The sauces in the cheesestake and sandwiches are beyond this world (the right consistency). The bread size in the cheesestake is a bit thick and downplays the flavour of the sauce, meat and fillings. The service is splendid and cosy seating. We were at S&S in Carrollton last Friday, September 8th. We placed our order at 8:50PM for dine in and also had couple of items to-go. We were told 20 min to get our food. After 30 min of waiting I was told the food is coming in 5 min. The guy/chef came out and called me and gave me my to-go order...when I asked what happened to my dine in order he said that was already sent 10 min ago. I told him that I never received if, so he got mad and called the other guy/cashier who took our order. The cashier said he already served the order, but I didnt get it, then he went and checked with a couple of college students who were eating and realized that the cashier gave them our order and these students ate it anyway and were laughing about it. The chef was very furious at the cashier and went back to make us or order. When we received our food it was 10:00PM and they were about to close the doors. This was a really bad experience, love the food, but they dont know how to manage a restaurant. No one apologized for what happened, the cashier just gave the food to me and ran to the back. Pretty sad. Not sure if I will go there again. They should know that you just cant have only 2 people on Friday night running the business. I saw a few Uber Drivers also get frustrated with them because they had to wait a while before they received their orders also. If these owners/managers cant run this business then they shouldnt be in the food business. Parking: There is no handicap parking.

Pretty good cheesesteaks here. I got the spicy cheesesteak and the spice was on point. Definitely need to get the Texas size because the regular one is barely filled and would be eating mostly bread. The inside of the restaurant was large but only has a couple tables for the size. But the floors were sticky and dirty and could use more care. This place does not know how to make a Philly cheesesteaks. Swiss cheese does not go on a Philly cheese nor do bell peppers and mushrooms. And dont get me started on the roll. And in Philadelphia you would never find Mayonnaise squirt on the top of the meat. Mayonnaise goes on the bread. And the only thing that touches the meat is cheese and onions. Ordered using Uber eats. Never received my order as they sent someone that spoke ZERO English, driver sent messages in another language and I repeatedly responded that I spoke English. The food tasted stellar. Volume for price was ok. Prepared quickly. This was not an overly messy cheese steak sandwich. That has been an issue at other places a time or two, so very happy about that. Will say that they package To go in styrofoam and the onion rings melted through it by the time we got home 5 minutes later. The ones I could eat were great. The music was blasting at an uncomfortable volume when we arrived. Almost walked right back out. The gentleman at the counter couldnt even hear us request to turn it down. First time here today, and our lunch was delish! Got the Signature Cheesesteak and as you can see from the pic, it was bursting with meat, cheese, onions, peppers and mushrooms. Lots of flavor, meat was tender, and the bread was soft and fluffy. Unfortunately, the fryer was down so we didn t get try the fries or tots, so hopefully they ll have it back online next time we go, cuz we ll be back! My only feedback is that the bread could have been toasted just slightly bit more to give it a more crispy outside, but seriously, no complaints here. This was the first time trying this place. We walked in and I felt like we brought the crowd with us. It got busy. We opted for take out because it was incredibly cold inside I didn t think I would be comfortable eating there shivering but as we waited they raised there thermostat and it got more comfortable. Very disappointed at the order today. This is my go to spot for halal cheesesteaks but the service is always a hassle. I got the signature cheesesteak and the philly tots. It seemed like they threw on American cheese which hadn t even melted and the tator tots had no mayo making it super dry. The cheesesteak was drowning in mayo. Felt like I wasted money and a cheat meal. Edit: The owner reached out to me as soon as the review was seen. They took accountability and refunded the money. I would not spend my money here again. Cant speak for all the food but the meat used for the Philly is very cheap and the taste is not anything to drool over. OH, the food made my bf sick. I gave him my Philly because I didnt like it. Luckily, I didnt eat much of it or I would have been sick too. -There was a minor working the register who was in the back licking his fingers making food. So, a sanitary environment is obviously not promoted. I didnt bother for a refund since I live so far away, but from the sounds of other reviews, it would have been next to impossible to get one. Well, $40 wasted, wont be back. Ever.

They took my card information while their card machine was down and knew that it wasn t working before they took my payment. stole my money and refused to give me a refund after I showed them proof of my payment. All because it didn t show up on their end. DO NOT EAT HERE.

Is this the best cheesesteak in dallas? Yes, it is one the places youll find one. It all depends on what you get. Steak is really good, chicken not so much. Fries are fire. Prices are great for the amount of food you get, cant go wrong. Ill continue to go back and eat there.

I had called in to place an order and I had to repeat my order quite a few times. Had asked me what time I* could be there and not how long the wait was. The order ended up incorrect despite me repeating myself and instead of offering me a refund when I mentioned no one in my house would eat this.. (because the manager wasn t there and they weren t sure when they d be back ) or to make me something else I was offered one drink . Not only was my order incorrect but I was also forced to pay for an item no one in my household would eat.

Restrooms are FILTHY at this place. We ordered the food and left our order in the trash after seeing the restroom. We wanted to wash our hands before eating but man it was beyond disgusting. If you cant keep up with the cleanliness then please dont offer customers restroom services. Tables were also sticky and dirty and service was really poor too

The food is decent, but the menu says seasoned fries yet mine didnt even have salt? Maybe they just forgot.. place has potential. However the service is pretty lacking.. people come up to the counter asking where the order is. The soda fountain was broken so limited canned drink selection. The napkins are cocktail napkins. They seemed overwhelmed yet not busy. Its a bit pricey for the portion you get.

Food is good however the biggest issue here is Owner does not want to invest in his business. Always 1 or 2 employees working when it is super busy maybe 4 needed. Initially had to wat 2hours for food when it opened owner assured wouldnt happen again but its always same thing very very slow service. Restrooms and tables very dirty I really hope he changes his was because this is unprofessional way to run a business.

I love coming to S&S, it s really good and was excited to try the new menu items. It s so disappointing that S&S can be unreliable. Driving from Fort Worth an hour to get here to realize they re out of buns at a cheesesteak place is pretty disappointing. Literally the sides were the food options, I recommend calling before going otherwise u might be left with no other good food options especially if it s later at night when other food places have already closed.

The worst customer service ever, we waited for 50 minutes and then I decided talk to the guy in front, he said the order didnt go through because it didnt print in the back, he said we need another 15 minutes, I told him I need talk to the manager he said no manager there, then someone in the back said dont worry it will take 3 minutes, one of the orders came wrong, the guy said we are out of that item. My wife asked why you didnt mentioned that when we placed tje order.and no answer, I asked for refund and same guy said he will take the wrong order if he is refunding it I said its ok will take we are not going to wait more.. The other thing bothered me alot the place is so nasty, it look they dont clean the floor or the tables, the two trash are full, they dont clean the tables after anyone, also why they using paper towel rolls in a restaurant thats is so weired!! Before I left I went to the guy in front and told him how am disappointed, the thing that really bothered me how in this world you dont check on your customers, all the tables before us got served and we been waiting till I talked to him. I told him it look you dont care and he said yes.

I wish I could ve an option to give no star at all. After waited 70 mins for one Flaming hot Zinger. I got a sandwich with just mayo & chicken piece. There was no flaming hot Cheetos in it.
