They cater to you like you re the only one or only people there, without falling behind on orders at all, this was my first time but, rapport between establishment and regulars is familiar, the food was awesome, had the turkey roast sandwich and brisket grilled cheese sandwich and sweet potato fries, all are awesome but the brisket makes me want to get a group to try the sampler platter! Back again today, 9/21/2024 management, staff and even fellow customers continue to be consistently awesome!

Passed thru the city on the way to south Texas, reviews were fairly high for this establishment so we decided to give it a try. Location was nice and parking wasn t terrible for 5pm on a Saturday. We ordered brisket, fries, Texas twinkies, fried deviled eggs and elotes. Texas twinkies are ok, the meat inside was mashed up (apple sauce texture) brisket, deviled eggs could use more seasoning- very bland, brisket was mushy and also needed more seasoning, fries were fries and the elote was also just ok. The service was great, very attentive and friendly. There were other staff members very loudly discussing blow jobs with customers while children were eating tables away. Overall an ok experience.

Terrible service. We were a six people group going in, they said take a seat and didn t give us a menu, it took them 20 minutes to ask for the drinks and once they brought it they did it wrong, we had to go and find the menus by our selves. It took them another 20 minutes to take our food order, after that I also had to find the silverware by my self hahaha. There were 3 tables in total after the people sitting on the bar and 1 of those tables was being attended by one of the bartenders, so I don t think it was a short personnel issue, at the and we paid the 20% service charge after all. I don t know if the server with black hair was our waitress but she was really rude to us and had a bad attitude, don t know if it was racism, or if they were having a really bad day, or if sadly this is the service that they offer to everyone but this place really need to improve the service urgently.

I think the picture explains the rating. It s always sad when a place is recommended to you and it has decent ratings and then you get served really dry, chicken with just a few pieces of edible meat. Why didn t I show it to them and request another piece of chicken? Ahhh. Well we ordered to go. And it was til we arrived back to the airbnb that we saw this. I typically give places a minimum of two chances so maybe I ll update my review if I get to go back. But who grabs a piece of chicken that looks like this and actually gives it to the customer? I did order this online and I did get there before the ready for pickup time so it wasn t that I left it sitting that long. But the meat looks like it had been sitting there all day long. Anyhow, it was a sad meal.

To start off, we walked in and were greeted with a friend Texas style hello, offered to sit anywhere we liked. Sat at the bar and had our drink order in and in front of us with in a couple of minutes. The waitress made some suggestions on food and took our order, the place was busy but the service was great for the amount of people there. The Buffalo deviled eggs are a must try. The rest of the food was better then expected and served at the right temperature. Definitely will be going back again.

I would say my rating is more of a 3.5, I got the lunch special of 1 meat and 1 side as well as the lemon cake dessert. The brisket was very good in my opinion, perfect balance of fat and lean meat; loved the sauce that was on the side, it was very peppery but balanced with a slight sweetness. Comes with a side of toast and pickles and pickles onions that were also very delicious and good balance. The Mac and cheese was a semi disappointment due to it being spiral noodles but the cheese sauce and breadcrumbs really bring it back to being tasty. Lastly, the dessert, smoked lemon cake. It was hard to judge it, they forgot the berries so it was good but not quite up to par, the cake portion did not taste smoky, was very dense but still moist. Comes with this lemon drizzle/curd sauce that was very good. Worth a visit for the atmosphere and food, but if youre looking for solid BBQ I would give this place a pass and maybe go to hard 8, Hutchinsons or even maybe Loro if youre looking for something more modern.

This place just ain t it. Meat is ok, sides are flavorless and boring. Lacking lots of potential here. Mac and cheese is basic with some seasoning salt and breadcrumbs on it - should be baked for a minute to elevate it. Carrots are literally flavorless (no salt nothin) and sitting in a watered down bbq sauce with chopped pecans from a bag sprinkled on top - again, boring and tasteless. Elote and cauliflower was fine. Not $7.99/per worthy. I also agree with most reviews saying the workers are inattentive and distracted. They all hung out behind the bar eating Mr. Jim s pizza the whole time we were here - maybe we should have gone there instead.

I frequent this place quite often because am a tenant at an apartment on the same block. Ordered the ribs for the first time and they were extremely salty. Like OMG I m struggling to eat these salty!!!! Because I am a business owner I like to give my reviews face to face verses online to be fair. So I walk back down to the restaurant, not looking for a refund or anything. I tell the only person upfront, a young lady with long jet black hair that I wanted to give an honest review. Went to bar during the world series. The bar was busy but they had 6 or 7 people milling around behind the bar. I sat there for 10 min before anyone recognized I was there. The beer recommendations were good. The draft could have been colder. With that many people behind the bar I shouldnt have to get someones attention to get a refill or order food ... It seemed that most of the crowd was regulars and the staff knew them. Some of the staff looked and acted like they would rather be elsewhere. Looking at their phones or gossiping seemed to be occupying most of them. The 2 meat plate was about 22 bucks and wasnt bad but also wasnt great. Expected more and better for $22.

The food was awful! We got the texas prime brisket (moist choice) and it was sooo dry I couldnt eat it with their house made bbq sauce that tasted like ketchup with pepper sprinkled. Mac n cheese was sub par at best(chick fil a has better), the toffee fries were so bland. Ive had toothpicks with more flavor. I have to say our waiter was great. Lots of personality and charm. The bill was about $60 after tip for 2 people. I wont be back. The radio music was good though.

Carrollton Masonic Lodge No 1400 had a social night here with over 20 in attendance. The atmosphere, service, and food were all spot on. You expect certain delays with a group this big but or waitress was on top of it and the kitchen crew got everything out quickly. They recently updated their menu and their food is really good! Get the Turkey melt or the Nashville hot chicken! They recently added truffle fries onto the menu and it s bomb! So good! I wish I had taken pictures before I devoured it. Every single thing I got was delicious. The ribs were falling off the bone and full of flavor, the jalapeño sausage was the best I ve had and the Mac n cheese was so juicy and perfectly cooked. I have already told my family and friends about this gem. Will definitely be coming back.

Great service with a good atmosphere and good good enough food. Went on a Thursday with a group and place was not overly crowded. Waitress did a great job. Parking: There is a parking garage roughly a tenth of a mile from the location (just follow the signs for parking). Very limited amount of street parking around the location. Expect to have to go to the garage.

I was here for a pickup today there was a guy with long beard I forgot to ask his name I told him I have a pick up order without even asking me the name on the order he said it will take some time Then I sat on a chair for 5 minutes + he was still walking around and not even checking if the order is ready or not then a lady came up to me and asked if I needed some help I said that I have this pick up order she went to the kitchen right away and brought the food!! She was super nice and professional! from the temperature that was coming out of the bag I could tell it was ready Even 6-7 minutes ago long story short I get that I am not a customer but am the one who is providing a service for your customer! Please consider our time as well! The one star rating is just because of the unhelpful gentleman! Thank you

Love coming here for whiskey Wednesday.. Food is delicious and the drinks are good too.. Its a chill place to hang out and they even have pool tables.. The brisket is amazing and the tacos are very good too

First time in this area, and I will definitely return! The staff is very friendly, and the bar staff is knowledgeable about whisky selections for your specific tastes. The Cherry Ember Old Fashioned was freaking amazing!! Recommend it 1 million percent! tip- make sure you sit at the bar to experience the aromas and mixing technique for this drink! I had the nachos for my meal and everyone at my table said they were the best. Its a really big portion! Our server suggested getting the French fry version, but I loved the chips! Parking was open out front, and the customized bull grill was a cool welcome! It was pretty quiet around 7PM, after we ate walk down and check out some street murals by the silos

My first experience of real Texas bbq was impressive at barrel and bones! I had the 2 meat and side, which I found to be reasonably priced. The Brisket was a bit fatty, but delicious! The 2nd meat was texas chicken, came as half an entire chicken, skim on, with a sweet, smokey, unique rub that was super tasty! I had the roasted broccoli for my side, was a little over done, but tasty none the less. The burnt ends were delicious! Wrapped in bacon and sauce and smoked to perfection! Great job b&b!

This spot just won the BEST Bar and Grill in Carrolton and thats just the beginning. Added to the best food their hospitality is unparalleled. Been to the Carrollton location many times. Today, Saturday 1-14 5:00 PM sat at a table for 5 minutes, no service. Moved to the bar which was filled with empty glasses and used napkins. The only bartender was counting a cash drawer for the second time (we saw her counting while we waited at the table. Waited another 5 minutes with no acknowledgment from anyone, so we left. Inexcusable service!

Was playing pool with a girlfriend and went to get a water after the 3rd time trying and the bartender was pouring a drink then a customer asked her a question and she went left over nothing. Then the other lady behind the bar went off and had no idea what the issue was. It really got me uncomfortable when some other customers started to yell at the guy it s their bar and what s up. So scary. The bartenders still follows the guy out saying you will get shot for that. But that was the second bartender with colored hair. Never going back

Ask one question and her and so called purple headed manager go off and have 5 customers trying to fight our group.
