I love coming to Cracker Barrel. This was my first time at this location and I ll never be back. I sat down and waited 30 mins and no one ever came to help me or take my order. I had to ask someone for a drink. I left and I will not come back to this location.

My experience with this cracker barrel seems to be indicative of all of them now. The service was slow. The atmosphere was loud. When the food finally came out, it was not as requested. I ordered dry scrambled eggs (thats how I like them). They came out runny. They were sent back, and when they finally came back, not a lot had changed. They now looked like a soggy omelet - nothing at all like scrambled. After this, I think Im done with cracker barrel.

I cannot stress enough what absolutely incompetent liars the management and staff are at this location. Especially the managers Cynthia and Miley. We have been given a different story every single time we have come in, and they have flat out lied to our faces repeatedly. We do not live close to a Cracker Barrel location, and so in trying to get this issue resolved have made 3 separate visits that have involved nearly 5 hours of driving. They just make up the rules as they go, and its ALWAYS whatever will be the most inconvenient for the customer. Cynthia and Miley should not have jobs in customer service, much less be managers since they cannot get two employees to give the same information on their policies. Waiting to hear back from their District Manager, Diane, who did not answer repeated phone calls and whose voicemail sounds like a personal voicemail, not a professional line at all.

My waitress up-charged me for a build your own breakfast, when i asked for grandma s breakfast. I didn t want eggs or to pay an up-charge fee, so she suggested this, however, i was up-charged $5 more on the build your own than just substituting my eggs. She included a biscuit and gravy that i never asked for or touched. If you have to do this to up your sales, then despicable. I tipped but do regret it. Please don t come to work stoned and mess up people s orders so royally.

This visit was terrible. We arrived and were seated right away so we assumed they werent too busy. We ordered and was told by our waitress that the kitchen was backed up so food may take a bit. No problem, and our waitress brought out the biscuits and cornbred to hold us over. It took an hour and half to get our food and it came out cold. The waitress didnt ask how our food was or bring out salad dressing that we asked for several times. My fiance flagged down the manager and explained to him we waited a very long time for our food that came out cold. He told the manager that this was the worst visit to Cracker Barrel to date. The managers response was I doubt that. The manager asked if we wanted fresh food and we said no we just wanted to let you know about our experience. He said well Im taking your sides and will bring out warm ones as well as taking care of a couple of your meals. He did come back with fresh sides but never took off any meals. We were trying to leave and asked for a togo box for our daughtets macaroni and cheese. We asked three times for a box. The next day we had stomach issues that we believe were due to the food at Cracker Barrel. We will not go back to this location ever.

I used to really like this place, but it has gone downhill. For starters, it used to be that you get biscuits or muffins as a freebie before your meal. Now it seems theyve cut back on that and no longer do it, or its up to what mood your server is in to give you some. Speaking of servers, that has gone downhill too. Now everyone is in a rush and mad or irritated that they even have to serve you. Our last server was awful, full of attitude, late on everything, we got our drinks after we got our food, and was snippy when we asked about getting biscuits, and when we pointed out our dinner was missing a side. He stormed off when we told him and we never got our side I could tell he could tell how awful he was because then later on he tried to be overly nice, after being a jerk the entire time. God forbid they check on you once for a drink refill. The portion sizes have gone down too, and the food combos are so weird now, that you have to ask for substitutions which conveniently cost extra. And would it kill you to turn down the dang music?? Cant even hear each other over the loud music. And stop putting the seats so close to each other that you cant even scoot back to stand up without smashing the person behind you. And if the restaurant is half empty, must you sit us always right next to a large party with screaming kids? The entire experience is now just one loud obnoxious rude headache.

September 2024 Cracker Barrel Old Country Store on Labor Day was extremely busy but before leaving my house I added my name to the waitlist by logging in on the Cracker Barrel app. It helped but after checking in I still had to wait so explored the store where picked out some Fall, Halloween and Christmas items to purchase and took home. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was also a Monday so decided to order the Daily Dinner Special which was Chicken N Rice with Hashbrown Casserole and Dumplins as sides. I took a chance and really enjoyed it where the chicken was easily cut using a fork and was very tasty. Along with the sides I practically cleaned my plate. Also I got a basket with both Buttermilk Biscuits and Cornbread Muffins which bother were also good. They also have bus/RV parking spots. August 2023 Social media is strong with Cracker Barrel Old Country Store where after seeing Halloween merchandise available my wife had to see it in person. We arrived and with the usual 30 minute wait we spent that time exploring the store. I found Fall, Halloween, Christmas and all the 4th of July items were on sale. My arms were getting full carrying stuff where a nice staff person handed me a basket to place them in. They even had just release items like the new Harry Potter Hersheys chocolate. I still miss the bottled sweet tea. I ordered the Chicken Pot Pie and it was pretty good. It was presented nicely in an old style casserole dish where the crust had great flavor. It had enough of chicken and potato chunks. It was pretty tasty. The sweet tea was kept full and finished off my pot pie. Afterwards it was back to the store where once again picked out a few more items to purchase and take home. I still think this place needs WiFi where I get a poor AT&T signal where open the app to pay. And the restrooms need help bad where a remodel is needed. Not going to get in the details where I just ate. Other than that I love this place. June 2022 Cracker Barrel is a favorite of mine where enjoy taking both my wife and parents there. I have to many locations all over the country and one thing I can say there is consistency of food quality and country store products. I was sad to see the bottled sweet tea disappear from the shelves and check every time to see if they are back. On a plus they recently added alcoholic drinks to the menu but still prefer either coffee or sweet tea. The Buda location is the closest to my home and when My wife and I arrived the parking lot was full. Luckily I found a spot and not too long to wait for a table. The place was being run very well in managing the guests. In the meantime browsed the country store looking at the new items. One thing I quickly noticed was the large assortment of decorative glitter globes. They were all over the store and like a challenge to find them all. The products change with the seasons and make sure to get here early before the main holidays like Halloween, Christmas and Easter otherwise only scraps left. Once we were seated I ordered the 4 pc Southern Fried Chicken with Mashed Potatoes and Hashbrown Casserole. These were big pieces so took two home with me. The chicken had that dry crispy coating with soft moist chicken inside. It was very good and the sides too. It definitely has that country style charm where taste like used with real butter and sugar. The service has that small town diner feel and very friendly. Afterwards enjoyed sitting the rocking chairs outside in front.

So my husband, myself, my granddaughter, daughter and son in law were there on Sunday, my son in law ordered the grilled chicken salad, he only got the grilled chicken. No salad. Our server was nowhere to be seen, none of our drinks were refilled, had to get someones attention for anything we needed, because they didnt willingly come to our table. Hadnt been here in awhile but hate I just wasted $38 today. My favorite was the country chicken which is usually fantastic. Today was not that. Chicken so dry...crust was fried so hard thought I was eating pork skins. Choked on 1st bite it was so dry & cold. Sides were cold as well. Not even Tabasco sauce helped. Still hungry but dogs really enjoyed. My false teeth almost fell out trying to eat it. What a let down. Taking back my 5 star.

Water was gross and manager was rude. The water tasted disgusting. When I asked the manager about it, and asked him if we could have a bottle of water, he said he could sell me a bottle of water. He said the water they serve is filtered and that everyone has to pay for a bottle of water. I felt like he could have given me a bottle of water or a drink without charging me since the water they serve is disguising. He was talking to me like I was just another annoying customer that he was not going to cave into, instead of a customer who was buying several meals and wanted water that didn t taste bad. It would have been an easy fix for him and would have kept me from having bad feelings about Cracker Barrel.

My friends were in this location on Wednesday July 10th at 11:45 am,and had a terrible experience. They were told that they no longer have toast, and they would have to purchase biscuits if they wanted them. That they are no longer complimentary with breakfast. What ? Since when ? So they purchased a basket. When they came out there was no butter or jelly. They had to ask the server to please go get some. Also ordered a glass of milk to come with their meal, which it did not. It took a long time to get it. At the conclusion of their meal they wanted to purchase two of the $5 meals to go They were told that they could only purchase one. Wow ! This survey should be available in English. The food preparation and presentation was poor. The peach cobbler was served in a paper cup. The flatware and tea cup looked dirty. The fried apples were reheated by not warm, didn t look or taste good. I ordered hot tea and got a coffee. The manager was pleasant and got my husband a proper peach cobbler in a ceramic cup, but offered no remuneration. We paid over $12 for a coffee tea, cobbler and fried apples and left most of it on the table. Not a great dining experience.

Website says join the wait list 5 minutes. Showed up and they said 90 minutes wait. WTH?! Just showed up again. Waitlist said 10minutes. Waited 20 minutes before asking and the girl said it would be at least another 10 minutes. What is wrong with yalls system??! She actually told me that the wait list is not really ever accurate

Every time we come here in the morning we have the best experience! We are Wednesday morning regulars with our favorite server Red. I come to this store regularly, mostly for breakfast, but stopped by for lunch. I ordered coffee, which was served warm not hot. Ordered the chicken tender meal with sweet carrots, green beans and mash potatoes. Well, this is rare for me to report anything regarding CB since they re always good. The green beans tasted like they had been uncovered and soaked up refrigerator or kitchen smells; so I left them. The sweet carrots were barely sweet. I had to request napkins after my meal was served. I asked my waitress why I didn t get them when I was seated? She said: the hostess is suppose to do that but she did get some. I wondered why she had not noticed the absence of the napkins and why blame the hostess? Just say sorry about that and let the hostess know? I finally requested additional coffee to heat my current cold one. Well that was a waste of time. I will let the manager know; since things can t be fixed if they are not aware of issues that need fixing. I hope this is not a trend for CB! Extra comment: I did tell the manager and she apologized. While I wouldn t have taken a discount on my meal none was offered. But it maybe too many trying to complain to get one?
