I finally decided on my very 1st tattoo (at age 53). Ive wanted one for years but could never decide on what to get. It had to mean something to me. Well I went through a life changing event last year and Im still struggling with. This tattoo is perfect. Cliff was recommended by a couple of friends. He did the most amazing job. He listened to what I wanted. He made sure I was happy with the design. His wife made sure I was comfortable and kept asking if I needed anything. They were the best. I highly recommend Cliff for your tattoo needs/wants. Its very clean. Love the decor also.

We recently went to Arsenal since my person has gotten many tattoos there over the years, and we both wanted to get a few more (one for him and two for me, see pics). The facility is very clean, yet has a fun atmosphere. The staff are great. Cliff did an amazing job, from concept development/sizing/placement to execution of the final tattoo. He was very sweet and kept checking on me as we progressed to make sure I was doing alright. I/we have plans for more tattoos in the future, and we will definitely be going back to Arsenal and Cliff. Requested style: We requested Celtic tattoos. We knew what we wanted, and took basic pictures in. Cliff took those and worked mine into the appropriate size and shape for my tattoos (I wanted a black work triquetra and anam cara behind my ears), then created a larger stylized version of the anam cara for my person that we both love. Cleanliness: Arsenal has a fun atmosphere, but it is also very clean. As someone who worked in the healthcare field for 15 years, I was quite pleased with every step.

The cleanest tattoo shop I ve ever been in, the owners are a delight & super kind/caring! I wanted something very special to memorialize my child/pregnancy whom I recently lost, & I couldn t have asked for a better tattoo. Cliff listened to all my ideas and made it exactly what I wanted, even better. This is tattoo #5 for me & by far my favorite. Super clean lines, Cliff was gentle with me, and tattoo looks lovely. I can t recommend them enough.

Scott Dowdy did a hell of a good job on both my wifes and my ink today. 3 pieces. Stacy and the other artists were wonderful as well. Very attentive, bringing us water when we needed and a Dr Pepper for the wife. They even invited us to join in on the shop pizza lunch but we were still full from breakfast. If you need ink work done in BCS, go see Scott. Well be back.

I have been tattooed twice in this shop. Audrey did both sessions. Shes super cool to hang out with. Cliff is the owner and was working on something cool both times I was in there. Scott is the third artist that is routinely there. Everyone there is a great artist. Everyone is super friendly. The shop itself is in an awesome old (Id guess at least from the 50s) gas station. They provide drinks and snacks and I can not recommend them enough.

This is by far the best tattoo shop in town. As someone who has used every shop and almost every artist in town this is the best experience ever. They cater to you with drinks and snacks multiple times to make sure you are ok. They keep your appointment. They are wonderful at being professionals unlike teen like other studios. The work received is amazing and I had a sleeve cover up which is so difficult with Scott who is amazing at his job. Trust me from someone who knows this industry well. Save yourself frustration and please come here. You won t be disappointed.

From the moment I walked in to schedule an appointment, Stacy was extremely welcoming and personable and let me know my options to get my first tattoo. I did have to wait several weeks as they are booked out because they are so busy, which means they must be that good! I took my pictures in and Cliff was quick to combine the 3 into exactly what I wanted. He was just as nice and welcoming and made me feel so comfortable making sure he was giving me just what I wanted. The process was nothing but positive and I even sprung a bonus small additional tattoo on him and it was no problem! Im so happy with both and he even told me to come back in a month to make sure theyre still to my liking. Theyre awesome! I would highly recommend!

Out of all the tattoos I have by far the best experience yet. Cliff and the staff at arsenal were absolutely great to deal with. I have other tattoos but this particular one I was kinda nervous about. It wasnt just a simple tattoo for myself, but a tattoo that was such a big deal because it included my dad thats passed on, myself, and my three year old son. Even from the very start I felt very comfortable with cliff about the way things would turn out. He took the time to make sure everything was perfect, and didnt leave not even the smallest detail out. His work was nothing shy of perfection and it turned out better than I ever imagined it could have. Cliff was nice enough to listen to my life story while he was working, did an amazing job, and at the end of it all told me I hope I did your dad justice with my work. A simple thank you to Cliff will never be enough, but I will wear my ink with the greatest amount of pride possible, and try my best. I cant say enough about the great people at arsenal tattoo, and the amazing work they produce. All my future tattoo work is now dedicated to Cliff and the staff there, and again thank you so much for the amazing work I now have the privilege of carrying with me forever.

I went in with my girlfriend the other day to get tattoos for both of us and when we were greeted they were very nice. We had to wait for a little while but it was no issue. They have a great waiting area and the staff makes sure you are comfortable the whole time you have to wait. The tattoos we got came out amazing and I will be going back.

Scott was great! He did a tattoo I designed of my cat. He immediately knew what I wanted when I first went in to talk to him. It was my first tattoo and he was excellent about communicating with me before, during, and after getting my tattoo about what was going to happen and how I should care for it. When he did my tattoo it only took an hour, so I was in and out quickly, which was nice! 10/10 will be returning :)

Went in to ask about a tattoo. Im I retired Marine was exposed to heavy metals fighting for this country. I cant put anything over my face due to my lungs. The lady told me i had to wear a mask. I have noticed that they are friendly all the time albeit busy all the time. They prefer making appointments/reservations. I liken it to dining...do you want fast food or fine dining. If you like quality food then you make a reservation. Same as artwork/tattoos. They are the only tattoo shop allowed in the downtown Art District of Bryan. That should about sum it up.

I received a highly endorsed recommendation to this parlor, I called ahead to see about a wedding ring tattoo, the person said to come in and speak with one of our tattoo artist. We stopped by today the place was totally empty and received the most unprofessional blowoff , he said we don t necessarily do wedding ring tattoos. He didn t give us a second glance and walked away. Not a recommendation for anyone help us get the tattoos. All I can say customer service is a must for businesses and recommendations.

Arsenal Tattoo was recommended to me by a friend, and boy! Not only did the met the VERY HIGH expectations my friend had already set, but they went ABOVE and BEYOND that!!! Honestly, they deserve 8/5 stars! From start to finish the process was smooth. Being my first tattoo, I dont have much to judge by, but from the moment I walked through the door, they made sure I was calm and relaxed; they made what could have been a very difficult process a very easy and simple one! Scott did an EXCELLENT job at checking his work, making sure he didnt leave any light spots, ensuring quality and pride into the art! While they might not be the cheapest, they are definitely worth price! I will settle for nothing less for the quality and expertise of Arsenal in the future!

Cliff rocks. No two ways about it. He drew out my ideas, made changes where I requested without conflict. Then went to work. He didnt rush but he got thru my shoulder and arm in remarkable time. His art is true and his work ethic is solid. He cares and takes pride in his product. You will not be disappointed in his work if you give him a try.

I would reccommend this shop to anyone! It is clean, the music is great, the artists are so fun and engaging and do an AMAZING job! I got my very first tattoo from Scott about a month ago and I absolutely love it and have gotten so many compliments on it! My fiancé and I are definitely going here for every tattoo we get!

My wife and I went in for tattoos Audrey was absolutely wonderful she pays attention to small details. The lady that met us at the front door was absolutely wonderful the place is very very clean very well run a respectable shop. You will not be disappointed by going there. When I decide Im ready for another tat I will definitely go here even though its two and a half hours away from my home.

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in the door. Scott did an AMAZING job on my cover up, I will never go to any other artist for my tattoos and I highly recommend anyone considering tattoos to check this place out!

This place it top notch. Really clean place. Not sketchy at all. The music selection during my 2 hours there was a great mix. My tattoo artist was funny, engaged and focused (Scott), and did a fantastic job translating my concept to a style (New School) he didnt even have examples of in his book. Really happy with my ink.

I was greeted as soon as they were done with a client and we got to business quick. Scott did an absolutely amazing job on my chest/shoulder piece and I had a fun time doing it too. The atmosphere at this place is awesome and Ill definitely be coming back to do more. I would recommend this place to anybody.
