Quesadilla Pekes has become my go to restaurant for breakfast tacos and lunch. The asado de puerco is amazing either on tacos, gorditas, or for breakfast. If you like bean and cheese breakfast tacos try out the Oaxaca cheese instead of the more common yellow/american/cheddar cheese you re used to. The tortas mixtas is fantastic for lunch as are the quesadillas. It s all delicious. The staff is so kind and friendly. I can t recommend their food enough. Great local place!

Bryans hidden gem. We have lived downtown for almost a year, and have tried every food truck and local taqueria, but nothing comes close to this place. The homemade corn tortillas are beyond delicious, the salsas are genuinely spicy and flavorful. Their red salsa is , literally. Reminds me of the better tacos Ive had in more rural Mexico. Theres a lot of hype around Bryans taco trail, but this place is better than all of them. Try the asada de puerco tacos here, so darn good.

The prices are really good! The food is amazing, the salsas are flavorful and spicy. The lady at the drive through window is so friendly. Overall a great experience and probably my favorite place for REAL Mexican food from now on!

Great place for authentic Texmex! We had breakfast tacos and they were excellent! We ate at the inside counter (which seats 4). The salsa is made fresh in house and is outstanding. The prices are very college friendly. We paid $15 for 4 hand made breakfast tacos. Do NOT miss Peke s!!

We went to Quesadilla Pekes for breakfast, and it did not disappoint! We went inside very clean, quick service, and food tasted fresh, they cooked everything after we ordered. My husband got the picadillo plate- he literally drank the broth at the bottom of his box. It came with rice and beans. Best rice at a restaurant Ive ever had. He said tasted like his moms. I got 2 bean and cheese gorditas. It was the white melty cheese sooo yummy and it came with lettuce, tomatoes, green sauce, and a spicier orange sauce on the side. The orange sauce was delicious. Kids got their usual egg, potato, and bean tacos. Flour tortillas were homemade, they did not fall apart and were the perfect size for my kids to each eat 1. We also got a red salsa - it was a warmer one that you might put on tacos or dip chips in, I could drink it. We will definitly be back to Quesadillla Pekes to try more. Its at the corner of Villa Maria near Carter Creek, if you are looking for great Mexican food- go try! They have about 10 stools inside at a counter to order/eat at and drive thru.

I got a chicken quesadilla and I really loved it. They serve it with avacado which is a pleasant luxury. The quality of chicken was great. I especially loved the green sauce that comes with it as well. It should be noted that there is not any indoor seating and the outdoor seating is not a vibe or anything.

I waited for 10 minutes in the drive thru for a $16 mediocre burrito that wasnt warm, made with Instant rice, unseasoned chicken, and under ripe avocado slices. The chips and salsa were good though.

I visited Quesadilla Pekes for the first time and I was very happy with my purchase! I ordered a fajita quesadilla with everything. One of the reasons I havent stopped here before is specifically the location of the building and drive thru. You can only enter and exit going one direction and with the new medians placed all over town, its made it even more inconvenient to actually get to the location itself. None-the-less, the experience was great. I pulled up, received great service, was told it would be about 10 minutes and 10 minutes later I had my food. It was hot, fresh, and a good value for your money. The meat was seasoned well, the green sauce provided was great and I cant wait to come back and try their other options in the near future.

Came here for the first time. I always see this little pink colored house looking restaurant and thought it was a dessert place, buuut they sell some simple, but flavorful and delicious Mexican food. Their menu is very limited so don t get mad if they don t have everything you would find at a larger establishment. I ordered the ground beef quesadillas, pork with red sauce gorditas, and the pork with red sauce taco plates. It came with a drink so I got their Horchata and it was soooo sweet and delicious. The cup is massive (see pic). All the dishes came with delicious sauces and a super small side of veggies. The orange sauce is flavorful, but so soicy, at least for my wimpy a$$. The tacos came with refried beans and Mexican rice and everything was very tasty. I dont go to enough Mexican joints to compare places, but I did in fact, enjoy this place very much. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food and drinks we got. We will definitely be back. Staff are friendly and patient. This place can be easily missed especially it being in the middle of the busy and fast intersection of Villa Maria and E. Villa Maria. If you miss the driveway then youll end up having to turn around and its such a hassle especially with all the stupid construction going on there. Parking lot is super small, but they have a drive thru. The speakers dont work, but there is a sign that states to order at the window. I didnt go inside, but it looks like there are seating area for dine in. Parking: Small parking lot

Drove through and ordered the taco plate. Tacos consisted of tortilla, cubed chicken, and guacamole only. No lettuce, cheese, sauce, or tomatoes. Dry as a bone. Would not recommend!

One of my favorite places to eat in town. They have the best tortillas in town. I haven t been able to try anything other than the quesadilla plate in the 5 times we have been here because it is just too good. The price for the quality and quantity of food is outstanding. The puerco de asada is spicy, but nothing a Mexican Coke can t handle. Highly recommend this family owned business. Vegetarian options: They have a couple meatless options, like nopales and frijoles

A little tricky to get in here in terms of location, but SO worth it. They use just the right amount of cheese for the quesadillas, the white kind, and altho the pumpkin flower is SPICY, it was good, the cactus absolutely de-lish, the mole AMAZING!! the carnitas, the child relleno, yep, bought 3 gorditas y 2 quesadillas, and all of it incredible Careful with that orange sauce, habanero maybe???¿¿ OUCH And the service was delightful

The food was average, they have to improve, they were not bad, but they could have better flavor. Small portions for what they cost. What I didnt like is that they appear with a price of $3.75 plus tax and they charged me $4 each (plus tax). I felt cheated.

Great find! Quesadillas Pekes food is amazing. We had the quesadilla combo, which included 2 medium sized quesadillas as well as a gordita combo which includes 3 gorditas. There are a lot of options for what goes in the quesadillas and gorditas (see menu). All the food was authentic and tasted amazing. Gorditas pictured are Rajas con crema, Mole and Asada de pureco. Quesadillas pictured are Pechuga empanizada and Flor de calabaza (amazing ). Also, as a bonus we received a Huitlacoche quesadilla, which I was skeptical about but ended up being really good. (If you like mushrooms this is for you, though it s not mushrooms just similar in flavor/taste, imo) I will definitely be back to for more food from Pekes!
